<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm? Mudding is to bathe and relax in warm mud. It's very nice.

<Seraphna> **Jaime waves a finger and the mud on the floor collects itself and forms into a mud pie, set next to Noire**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *eyes the mud pie and then looks at Ren* "...yes?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Since Noire will be leaving us soon, I thought we should have some fun before the club closes shop. So I been researching where we will be going on our last adventure before she sets off.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Closes shop? Surely we can still have meetings.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well, we can use the room still sure. But even using the Interglactic Highway, it'll take Noire weeks or even months to get back depending on how far out she is
<DeathStar> <Ren> So scheduling adventures will be a little harder
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Mmm, I can teach her to use Dark Warping better. Let's call it a seasonal special.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Perhaps we need new members too. Jikuu could hope to get out more.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Perhaps the club should be turned over to the younger generation anyway. Eitherway, that's neither here nor now

<Seraphna> **Kaelan leans over to her and smiles** You are going out to my kind's origin.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks back at Ren* "...what do you have for us?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Oh my, she seems driven.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I think - whatever she has intended - we either follow or stay.

<DeathStar> *Ren seems to be at a shuttle which has already been prepared. Surprisingly, Andrea is there, looking somewhat quiet*

<Seraphna> Jaime> Weird, our family get togethers are so much... looser.

<DeathStar> *inside the hut, Bobbi has a ton of strange books laid out as well as what looks to be images of monsters and other images on the pages*

<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks over at Ren*"...ye.s..do explain to my auntie why we are here, Ren."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well, I been in contact with Bobbi to tell us about Dark One's ghosts, monsters, and legends! So she's been digging up texts of haunted areas that tie to the Dark Ones for us to explore. <Bobbi> Naturally the Resort doesn't really have such places - yet. But the Dark Ones used to roam this area of space before being defeated. Lingering traces of things that scared even them can be found - I've been told you ran into one or two of them
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> So I was going through our records to find a place that might be safe for you kids to check out for an adventure
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm? Scared them? Besides me?"
<DeathStar> *Bobbi and Andrea both eye Noire seriously*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> She's precious isn't she?
<DeathStar> <Andrea> You're no boogey man yet, Noire. Not until you lose yourself and become something to be scaref of
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...I did beat most of their generals."
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Defeating them isn't scaring them. It's wounding their pride maybe - maybe gaining their respect. Scaring them is turning into an abomination, something a Dark One can do if they truly want by falling into the darkness
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Reaping power for short term gains, and ever losing mental control
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Mmm, I slew gods and they still thought themselves the better till the very end. THere are things more frightening than death.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... fair enough, I suppose. I'm too conceited to take a short cut anyway."

<DeathStar> <Andrea> The same goes true for you
<DeathStar> <Andrea> You'r the other side of us. You go for a short term gain with your powers with your progenitor nature, and you could be come a progenitor verison
<Seraphna> Jaime> Hmm, I don't try for the short term, but I know the folly of rushing.
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> Anyway, I have a planet selected. I'll go over some of the lore if you all want
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> It's closer to Earth territory but the moon seems to be untapped by the super power due to suspicions of it being haunted. Back in the day, the Dark Ones would see things in the forest that talked to them and appeared as shadows of themselves. They could not be destroyed and many Dark Ones were taken over. It was believed the woods were cursed, so the Dark Ones destroyed a good section of it
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> It seemed to fix the problem - until the woods began to heal and it resumed
<Seraphna> Jaime> Moons do seem to have a funny pattern of becoming haunted.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> It's because Moons are spiritual~
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...so the event was tied to the health of the woods?"
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> Well, the Dark Ones never bothered to solve the mystery after the second incident with take over and hearing voices and losing some of their number into the woods.
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> They assumed they went "native"
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> Or were killed
<DeathStar> *Ren tries to juggle some balls*
<DeathStar> <Andrea> I'm still against going but if we are going, shall we leave?
<Seraphna> **Ren does exceptionally, with an odd tinge of moonlight to the balls**
<DeathStar> *Ren blinks at her attempt going so well*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Lets pack up in the shuttle. *Bobbi grabs the books*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Yes, let's."
<DeathStar> *soon - bck in the shuttle*
<DeathStar> *Ren flies them toward their destination*
<DeathStar> <Gemane> So, what if we find angry Dark Ones there?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I imagine Noire can handle it
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...the true danger if some sort of influence out there can possess us."
<DeathStar> <Andrea> It is why it should be avoided
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Is there anything else about this incident that you can share?"
<Seraphna> Kaelan> We could always teach them to love.
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> Well, outside the voices, and them appearing as the survery team, there were strange sounds in the woods, and the survey team did state not being in the woods made them less unsettled. So if Andrea feels too threatned, find an unwooded area
<DeathStar> *they soon appear over the moon, Ren scans the woods and hmmms* <Ren> So I guess we don't want to land in the middle of the forest?
<Seraphna> Jaime> MMm, I might be able to help with the woods.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Help...how?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Jaime is attuned to the earth element, thanks to her relationship with the earth spirit."
<Seraphna> Jaime> It surprisingly involves plants a lot. Probably because they are rooted to it.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Excellent. Let me go hang out front of the ship
<DeathStar> *ahng her out
<Seraphna> Jaime> **tilts her head** I do better when touching the ground.
<DeathStar> *Ren begins to land the ship next to a lake - surrounded by trees*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Here we go
<DeathStar> <Gemane> ... *slowly creeps off the ship*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *steps off* "Jaime, see what you can feel on the ground."
<DeathStar> *Andrea and Bobbi follow; Ren leaps and tumbles a few moments later, peernig around and Adeline finds a spot to eye the wounds*

<Seraphna> **Jaime nods and starts to get a sense of the earth and the surrounding plants**
<Seraphna> *Kaelan hmms, then glows with divine moonlight as she sees what ties she can get to the moon they're on**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks around* "Mmmmm... anything in the lore about this lake?"
<DeathStar> <Adeline> It looks normal to me. *Jaime would feel as if the area around them is completely normal; Kaelan however would get a little sense the moon has a tad darkness as it's core, creeping underneath them*
<DeathStar> *it's also very quiet right now, as if the woods are not making a sound*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Nothing, seems perfectly normal.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Ooo... this place has a touch of darkness in the core.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Not too unlike what I've done after a few good rounds with Tsukiyomi out of the kimono~
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Can you glean anything about the nature of what you sense...beside you unrestrained libido?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Isn't everything libido with Kaelan? *she jokes*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmm..." *adjusts ehr glasses with a finger*
<DeathStar> <Andrea> There is something rotten here
<DeathStar> <Andrea> But I don't know what
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...then time to send out some feelers." *raises a hand and forms several small dark matter balls in the air*
<DeathStar> *Bobbi is setting up camp for night* You know night will be likely when we see something - or going into the woods properly
<DeathStar> <Ren> You plan to blow up some trees?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I also sew.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "My dark matter cosntructs can do more than 'blow up' stuff. They can also extend my senses out."
<DeathStar> <Gemane> *leaps for a ball*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...what are you doing?"
<DeathStar> <Gemane> ..... Sorry, I felt compelled suddenly
<Seraphna> Kaelan> It was adorable.
<DeathStar> *Noire would pick up - no life in the woods*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *shakes her head* "Do not follow them." *sends the balls out in a wide search pattern of the woods* "...strange..."
<DeathStar> *Gemane huffs, floating in the air*
<DeathStar> <Andrea> A moon with no life, that at night has strange creatures appear according to legend
<DeathStar> *Bobbi finishes the tent*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I can feel no life forms beyond the trees themselves."
<Seraphna> **Kaelan muses** Prhaps they aren't in the trees at all.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Oh?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I feel it in the core.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Perhaps they are below. Way below.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Are you positive on that and now something with the moon itself?
<DeathStar> *not

<Seraphna> Jaime> If she's one thing it's bluntly honest.

<DeathStar> <Ren> So if the woods are empty and there's something gunky in the moon itself

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Do we have a safe passage to the udnerground?"
<DeathStar> *Bobbi looks up from the tent* Well there are suppose to be cave systems on the world.
<Seraphna> **Jaime finger guns the ground and opens it up into a tunnel**
<Seraphna> Jaime> Like that?
<DeathStar> <Gemane> Or you could blow it up!
<Seraphna> Jaime> I can just move it.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...like that." *looks at Bobbi* "Did they explore the caves?"
<DeathStar> *Andrea peers at the tunnel*
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> That - it was never documented if they did
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...then we should watch outselves."
<DeathStar> *Ren eyes the position of the sun; it seems to be lowering much faster than it would on Earth*
<DeathStar> <Ren> I hope this isn't one of those it'll stay night for 40 days things
<Jackieness> <Noire> "This is a moon, so it doesn't rotate relative to the primary star."
<DeathStar> <Ren> That's good at least
<DeathStar> *Ren moves into the tunnel; Andrea seems to be eyeing it still*
<DeathStar> *Gemane and Adeline move into it slowly*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mother?"
<DeathStar> <Andrea> I thought I heard something for a second. *She follows them*
<Seraphna> **Jaime and Kaelan follow, Jaime shoring up the tunnel as they go.**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...remember the stories of this place, mother." *walks through the tunnel*
<DeathStar> *Gemane taps the walls of the tunnel with her magic wand*
<DeathStar> **As the group heads in, they soon across what looks to be an underground cavern, with black pools of liquid all over; Gemane holdsu p her wand to give light*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Now this is itneresting..."
<DeathStar> <Andrea> .... *looks around quietly. Ren kneels by the liquid* .... weird.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Be careful."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Right. *the group would hear wind? With something on it like a murmur*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...and there is the whisper."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> ... *looks around*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> These networks of cave tunnels, you could get lost down here forever
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Now don't be shy~ you can be more open.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I can generally feel the tunnels, it's hard to explain unless you have the sense for it.
<DeathStar> <Ren> .... Kaelan. Are you trying to be abducted?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Just being friendly. No one ever thinks to be nice. SPent 9 months with a Dark One general by offering to share a bath.
<DeathStar> *Ren opens and closes her mouth, then turns to Jaime* Alright, Empress, since all these look the same to me, where should we go?
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and feels out the paths going down to lead them** This way.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *nods then moves after Jaime*
<DeathStar> *while walking along, the group would notice that Kaelan is no longer among them as they walk along more pools of black; infact, there's a hool lake of it*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...where did Kaelan go?"
<DeathStar> *whole
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm, I think Kaelan made friends when we weren't looking.
<DeathStar> <Gemane> *turns her wand back where they came*
<DeathStar> <Gemane> I heard nothing.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> I just keep hearing the murmuring
<DeathStar> <Ren> No one could have crept up on all of us
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...the lore did mention disappearances."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Alright. So we have to assume she literally disappeared
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Or she was snatched so well no one heard
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well Darkness is good at that.
<Seraphna> Jaime> We should hope she's as good at making friends with strangers as she tends to be while we look.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> ... She'll make friends I'm sure in her unique way. *she avoids the pools of liquid, heading for the center of the caverns; Gemane hurries up to provide light*
<DeathStar> *Adeline makes a huh sound as they walk*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I been scanning the pools of darkness and what my reader came back is not what I expected
<DeathStar> <Adeline> It's got Dark One signatures, as well as high darkness levels, and something else that the signature can't detect.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Hypothesis, Adeline?"
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I'm not sure myself, unless the Dark Ones become puddles of goo
<DeathStar> <Adeline> But it's the other signatures that is confusing the issue
<DeathStar> *Andrea turns around* And Ren is missing while we were talking or moving.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...of course, it is."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I can take a sample
<DeathStar> <Adeline> It might tell us more
<Seraphna> Jaime> It might be prudent.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Especially if it is... well, former Dark Ones.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Be cautious."
<DeathStar> *Adeline approaches the lake*
<DeathStar> <Andrea> ......
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks voer* "Mother?"
<DeathStar> *Adeline begins to scoop up the liquid and put it into the container and set it on the ground* <Andrea> Watch. Carefully
<DeathStar> *Andrea seems to have her eyes glued on the scene*
<DeathStar> *before Adeline can stand up, a figure rises up from the goo that looks like Kaelan and grabs Adeline and yanks her in within a few seconds, swiping her and making no sound; the murmuring around them continuing unabaited*
<Seraphna> **Jaime curses as she grabs at her** Damned lack of vision!
<DeathStar> <Gemane> *fumbles her wand light*
<DeathStar> *Jaime begins to feel goo hands on her now and begins to get pulled
<Seraphna> **Jaime shifts the floor out from under herself**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *uses her tendrils to try to rescue Jaime*
<DeathStar> *Jaime is freed. The hand that was holding her sinks back in*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Hrm... I think we should just go to the source.
<DeathStar> *Andrea is glancing around at all the pools of darkness* You are aware we surrounded
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Yes, mother. I had noticed."
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Very well. *she peers at Jaime, motioning at her to continue*
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods and starts carving a tunnel straight down**
<Seraphna> Jaime> Going down, last stop the core and me punching whoever took my Adeline.
<DeathStar> *the tunnel ends with them right over a massive area with nothing but the pools of darkness below*
<DeathStar> <Andrea> ... you going to jump in?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...yes...what now?"
<DeathStar> <Andrea> I can toss you if you want
<Seraphna> Jaime> My expertise ends in the tunnels, you're the Dark One Queens.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Oh. I see
<Seraphna> Jaime> That third element though, it is likely the real power here.
<DeathStar> *Gemane peers down*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, then..." *forms a dark matter sphere and sends it down toward the pools below*
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Here we go.
<DeathStar> *The sphere hits the liquid and seems to scatter, shift, and even blow it up a little*
<DeathStar> *then a moment later, it begins to swirl and drain, leaving an empty cavern*
<DeathStar> <Gemane> We won!
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmm...that was too easy."
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses, feeling out for her bond partner**
<DeathStar> *it seems she's somewhere below*
<Seraphna> JAime> Adeline is even... lower?
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and starts forming a new tunnel**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "The liquid may have flooded other tunnels, and the others were pulled down here."
<DeathStar> *as Jaime begins to dig down, faces loom over them, peering down at them - it looks like a lot of Dark Ones, as well as a Kaelan and Adeline; a moment or two later, liquid begins to chase them*
<DeathStar> <Gemane> Um um um um um
<DeathStar> *she begins to run ahead*
<Seraphna> Jaime> It appears we made it mad.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I thought this was too easy, indeed!" *raises a dark matter barrier behind them to buy time*
<DeathStar> *the liquid hits the barrier, slowed*
<Seraphna> **Jaime forms a sword of what feels like chaotic energies of various elemements, but at it's core it looks Dark, forming a barrier to slow it as they go**
<DeathStar> <Andrea> I am thinking your mate is in that liquid, or she was copied. I can see why the Dark Ones were confused
<Seraphna> Jaime> Great minds, Noire.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Indeed. We will have to pull them out ot get it to release them.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... you know what this reminds me of?"
<DeathStar> <Gemane> A flood!?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Besides that. The Dark Shifters. How they would capture and copy people."
<DeathStar> <Andrea> They do have fundamental simmiliaries, do they not.
<DeathStar> *Andrea begins to set up something on the ground as the barrier begins to break*
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Jaime, can you have the tunnel begins to u-turn back up?
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods and moves along with the tunnel, it even has steps so they can scale easier**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I wodner if there is more then just a coincidence.
<DeathStar> *Gemane floats upward, while Andrea finishes setting something up at the base, then begins to climb*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *starts back up herself*
<DeathStar> *The barrier breaks and the liquid continues, to hit a spell Andrea laid out and suddenly the Dark Ones and figures form into real people for a second*
<DeathStar> *Andrea glances back* Well, they can be knocked easily enough
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...now that did do something."
<Seraphna> Jaime> INteresting. So it only holds them.
<DeathStar> *Andrea grabs Kaelan, or what looks like her, with a tendril and begins to move*
<DeathStar> <Gemane> So, um, where does this tunnel go? *She asks Jaime* The surface? *she eyes the others turning back into a liquid to chase them up* Because they're coming again
<Seraphna> Jaime> I am moving upwards yues.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *tries to free Ren with a tendril*
<DeathStar> * the tendril slides through the liquid, then grabs a shape and pulls it along*
<DeathStar> *the team soon arrives near their camp, where Bobbi has cooked some food*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...fascinating..." *moves up with the others*
<DeathStar> *the liquid backs off as they near the surface, allowing Noire to pull out Ren who unlike Kaelan and looks all dark and liquidy, looks like herself, surrounded by foxfire*
<Jackieness> <Noire> ".mlooks like Ren was able to defend herself, somewhat."
