<DeathStar> *Adeline brings up video feed - it shows Erevis standing around 1B doing nothing but meditating*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> It seems she has not moved much. If she wants to meditate until meeting time that's fine by me
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...I assume that she is not capable of astral projecting or the like?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well so far the only person able to duplicate themselves among us is Thena.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I cannot attest to what her powers are sadly. Either psionically or Progenitor wise.
<Seraphna> Jaime> And I've been trying for decades.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Aya Winters wants us to meet her in Mega City for an issue - both Fumoffu related and related to the current situation with the Dark Ones/Progenitors

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Either case involves me."
<DeathStar> *Taiga stands up* Alright, since the teleporters are still being cleansed, lets take my ship.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Unless Jaime thinks she can take us all to Earth
<Seraphna> Jaime> Ship will be better. I can but then I'd need a pretty good nap at this distance.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I'll stay behind and keep an eye on our Erevis. I'll radio you if anything changes
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...a ship will do. A large hyper teleport might get Erevis' attention anyway."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Plus I want to help Cuddles with her work load

<Seraphna> Jaime> The real wonder is how he is himself when his brain was destroyed.

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Maybe his spirit remain attached to his physical remnants, and then reinhabited the body that his arm regrew around it."
<Seraphna> Jaime> I believe a spirit can hold a conciousness, certainly.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Either way, me and Cuddles want to give him a full check up and make sure everything is safe. It'd be bad if it wasn't since he's been all over the ship and Earth for around 3 days now

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...well...Dias has certainly not set off Erevis into kill mode yet, so there is that."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> There is that. *she looks at Jaime* But I think for some reason Erevis has been content to let Jaime set the pace of how she wants to deal with the threat,

<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks at Jaime* "Perhaps she is testing you, Jaime."
<DeathStar> *Adeline gives Jaime a kiss and heads for medical* Be safe on Earth, dear
<Seraphna> Jaime> It's possible. We've already proven that even Dark Ones can be saved from this.

<DeathStar> *Aya Winters greets the group at the presidental building. Vodka can be seen in the background working in what looks to be the private area for the President when they're hurt, but the medical rooms look to be occupied already.*
<DeathStar> *Aya sits at her desk, motioning Vodka to keep the medical doors shut as she speaks to them in her office*
<DeathStar> <Aya> I hope I didn't drag you all away from anything too important
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...just trying to save the universe. A trifle really."
<DeathStar> <Aya> Well, if you find this too unimportant I can have Evette look into this. But I recall you all used to look into this kind of thing
<Seraphna> Jaime> Oh we tend to get something out of these. Even me.
<DeathStar> *Aya grabs a folder and plops it on the desk in front of them. The files show images of gators along with meth. Meth Gators*

<DeathStar> *Taiga begins to rock in her seat*

<Seraphna> Si> Momma had an obsession with this until we discovered how they got so bad.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "There was also an amusement park in the bayou involved too."
<DeathStar> <Aya> Well, it seems these unusal animals have begun to rise up again. These.... Addicted Gators were seem looking more like this. *she shows images of the Meth Gators crawling out of the sewers looking more transformed into beasts akin to Dark One pets, then another picture of one lunging at a tourist with camera, it's mouth wide open*
<Seraphna> Si> Gasp... Dark One Meth Gators.

<DeathStar> <Ren> I have no words
<DeathStar> <Aya> They seem to be occuring in areas where the cities and populations are a bit ... well, crappier. And the citizens are more downtrodden in heart and spirit. I been trying to trace where the gators came from. Experiments I believe was the case
<Jackieness> <Noire> *twitches visibly*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Out of curiosity, who's in your medical ward?
<DeathStar> <Aya> ... *Glances that way* An old friend in need of some help. Anyway, I believe some of them must have survived in the wild. Why they're suddenly reacting to this ... *motions at Noire* Transformation, I do not know.

<DeathStar> *she pins areas where they've appeared, including Mega City's sewers* <Aya> Do you want my people to handle it then?

<Jackieness> <Noire> "MMmmm....since it involve Dark One matters, I must resolve this."

<DeathStar> <Aya> Very good then. A van outside will take you to your destination.
<DeathStar> *Vodka steps into the room in her lab coat, a bloody handprint on it; she sucks on a lollipop* <Vodka> Da, and if any of you get eaten or bitten by a dark meth gator, I will be glad to patch you up. Unless you get infected, then Vodka will be glad to put you in a box
<Seraphna> Si> I'll send Mom here to help with healing.

<Jackieness> <Noire> "MMmm...I supose I'll take a suit oo then."
<DeathStar> *the entire group wisely is outfitted in Russian like suits; afterward, Aya leads them to the van where X is waiting minus Dias, already in a suit. All of them drawing stares from the public*

<DeathStar> *Taiga climbs into the back with Ren*
<DeathStar> *X seems to be having a monitor on the van of Cuddles' work*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *climbs into the van*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And why are you monitoring Dias' scans? <X> So I can calm him down whenever he has to go into one of the scanning equipments and doesn't start breaking it
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Its not like you are sticking him with a needle."
<DeathStar> *X drives them along Mega City, taking them toward the rougher districts. People on the streets eye them darkly even one can almost feel Dark One energies from them as they eye them with some strange killing intent*
<DeathStar> <X> ..... *she parks the van near where the last attack occurring, breaking through the ground and having left a hole*
<DeathStar> *the people still watching them further back*
<DeathStar> <Ren> I feel uneasy already
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...I feel Dark One influence here."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... *She steps out, peering at the people watching them* They look normal
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But they are sure giving us the eye
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Taiga, get a sample of the city water an check for contamination."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Sure. *she moves to get some while X and Ren slowly work their way down the hole into the underground portion*
<DeathStar> *down below, it's almost like a giant maze*
<DeathStar> <X> You all ready?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...let's."
<DeathStar> *Taiga seems to be running a test on her datapad as she climbs down* Well
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The water is definitely not pure.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But I don't think there's anything in it that would infect people
<DeathStar> *she eyesthe results with a frown*
<DeathStar> *X shines a light from her suit*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Still...focus on the task at hand."
<DeathStar> *the group would see where the gator dragged the poor person further into the sewers, dried blood all over the place*
<DeathStar> *as it goes deeper in*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Follow the evidence?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yes.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ...... *she walks ahead, going down; various background noises can be heard as they work their way*
<Seraphna> **Si listens with her bunny ears**
<DeathStar> *up ahead, the path seems to keep going straight or going left; the left path seems to have a ton of broken pipeage and Si can faintly hear the sound of movement in the "water"*
<Seraphna> Si> Movement in the water. **She says softlyt**
<DeathStar> <Ren> Left it is then
<DeathStar> *she slowly begins to head that way, eyeing all the broken pipes on either side of them*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...be careful..."
<DeathStar> *As they reach the end of the path, the movement turns out to be a large drop off; it's like a "water"fall down to a lower level below this one where more pathways can be seen. However the drop off is quite steep.*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... I am so not jumping off
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves a finger in a circle, trying to call forth a shadowport down to one of the lower paths*
<DeathStar> <X> Not bad.
<DeathStar> *as they get a port down*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *steps through*
<Seraphna> **Jaime and Si do so as well**
<DeathStar> *they arrive in an even lower level; as they step forward, the sound of something charging can be heard*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *turns toward the sound*
<DeathStar> *X swings her light toward the sound and a large alligator, high on drugs, but transformed with Dark energy, is charging so fast they only get a second before it smashes into them, opening it's mouth to try to eat Noire, attactd to her energy and tries to bite down*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *conjuures up dark spike below it to try to defend herself*
<Seraphna> **Jaime warps a blade of Dragoon Energy at it's maw**
<DeathStar> *The alligator roars in anger as Taiga and Ren move to try to give Noire a reality's chance to wiggle back enough to esape, the alligator now frenzied*
<DeathStar> *Taiga charges her glove and smashes it into the alligator to knock it back and Ren begins stab at it's eye*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *attempts to use Dark Absorption to strip away the gator's dark powers*
<Seraphna> **Si snaps her fingers to cover it in napalm like flames**
<DeathStar> *The gator pauses a moment, then it roars in fire and begins to retreat, the tail smashing Noire and Taiga into the side of the sewer hard enough to break the wall open as it flees*
<DeathStar> *a trailing light going off in the distance*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Nnnnnnn!"
<DeathStar> *X ripples after it*
<DeathStar> *Taiga lays in some rubble*
<DeathStar> *Ren helps Noire up
<DeathStar> *then kneels by Taiga*
<Seraphna> **Si checks on Taiga**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... tch
<Seraphna> Si> You okay love?
<DeathStar> *Taiga shakily stands* That thing was still going strong even after what Noire did
<Seraphna> Jaime> We will need to be more drastic about neutralizing them I'm afraid.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...impaling it did not stop it." *stands up* "Its natural biolgoical functiosn have ceased and been replaced with something else.""
<DeathStar> <Ren> Oh god I had a bad thought
<DeathStar> *Taiga leans on the wall and peers the way X went*
<Seraphna> Si> You mean... a ghost got turned dark one?
<DeathStar> <Ren> What? No!
<Seraphna> Si> But that's where you usually go!
<DeathStar> <Ren> It could be a situation like what happened to Dis
<DeathStar> <Ren> We could completely destroy it and it might regrow
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well if he regrew into that we may have to destroy him.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> That's something to run by Andrea anyway. I haven't seen many Dark Ones with massive regeneration
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...I havne't experimented with that sort of radical biology ability yet."
<DeathStar> *X returns*
<DeathStar> <X> Got it. Use my ripples
<DeathStar> *She stps back through*
<Seraphna> **Jaime and Si hop through**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves through the ripple*
<DeathStar> *Ren and Taiga follow and the group arrives at the den of the meth dark gators and find at least 10 of them, all feasting on the wounded one. Having killed it and seem to be consuming it's life force. The den seems to be at a central location in the sewers at the bottom with no water, the ripple set up at the top, with lots of switches and stuff to regulate water and whatnot when too much storms hit Mega City
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmm..." *tries to count how many are down there*
<Seraphna> **Jaime starts gathering power**
<DeathStar> <Ren> I'm counting 10. You?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> We going to fight them head on?
<DeathStar> *She peers at Jaime* <X> I don't mind
<Seraphna> Si> Fuuu.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...the same. And wait..."Taiga, can you figure out these controls?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> I'm ready to. **she has formed a sword in her hand that looks like a dark evil blade, but radiates with several spirit elements**
<DeathStar> *the gators begin to peer up*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...they sense me."
<DeathStar> *as if sensing something; Taiga shifts and begins to work on the water controls when they stop eating their comrade and begin to somehow dig into the wall and begin to go after Jaime and Noire*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well I feel just plain left out
<Jackieness> <Noire> "You'll be desssert, Ren. Feel better?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Super!
<Seraphna> **Jaime starts sendning blades of energy out from her sword at them, water rising up with each blast to help cutting as she sends loose pipes at them too**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> You know, Jaime if you break too much I'm not sure if I can direct water to the area
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Hold your fire."
<DeathStar> *she notes as Jaime knocks a few back into the pit*
<Seraphna> **Jaime slows down, keeping of the pipes but ready to do more**
<DeathStar> *the alligators begin to slowly creep on Noire from the side*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Alright lets try this combination. *She begins to adjust water flow*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *turns and then conjures dark arms to try wrestling the gators back down below*
<DeathStar> *a loud rumbling and it feels Taiga sent everything to this central area, sending the alligators bck into the pit, including the ones Noire sent back into the watery pit; of course the water level is quickly rising now*
<DeathStar> <Ren> I don't suppose any one wants to try to throw lightning into the water
<Seraphna> **Jaime sticks her sword into the water and electrifies it**
<DeathStar> *Ren yelps and grabs Noire and yanks up*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *uses tendrisl to try to lift the team to higher ground*
<DeathStar> *as they are lifted upward, down below as the water level keeps going up, fried alligator can be seen*
<DeathStar> *and smelt*
<DeathStar> *Even through the suits*
<Seraphna> Jaime> It smells oddly like fried chicken.
<DeathStar> *Taiga shuts off the water flow*
<DeathStar> *the bodies seem to float, then oddly begin to sink*
<DeathStar> *all of them*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *narrows her eyes*
<DeathStar> *Taiga peers out of her room* We win?
<Seraphna> Jaime> I believe they are reforming into a superboss.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I am expected a giant dark beast with alligator hands to rise up."
<Jackieness> expecting
<DeathStar> *it seems both happens. The water level begins to drain a bit and the original one being feasted on, recognized due to the damage Noire and the others did to it, has taken in the others bodies into itself, standing there with their bodies combined into some hedious dark meth alligdragon, it's other bodies flapping like wings. And it takes off into the air toward them, giant alligator hands reaching to smash Noire and Jaime into the ceiling*
<DeathStar> *multiple mouths opening up to eat them*
<Seraphna> **Jaime forms multiple hyperspace swords in the air and fires them at the mouths**
<DeathStar> <X> Shit
<DeathStar> *She ripple slashes at them*
<Seraphna> **Si sets explosions off at it**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *uses her tendrils to fling the others clear of the creature*
<DeathStar> *the beast roars and looks displeased, tails wrapping around Jaime to crush her - doesn't need to be live prey to eat. Ren lands on the other side and grabs onto*
<Seraphna> **Jaime warps out of it's tails to somewhere behind it and opens up a salvo of pure hyperpsace blasts**
<DeathStar> *Jaime is hit by dark energy that absorbs all of the attacks*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *conjures dark arms and then tries to rapid fire punch the creature with the fists*
<DeathStar> *and it turns to face Jaime and unleashes a dark matter blast point blank - from all it's mouths*
<DeathStar> *it makes an annoyed sound from Noire and turns toward her again. Ren hangs onto Si and begins to focus onto something*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *directs the fists to try to give it a simultaneous right hook*
<DeathStar> *Ren's alignment changes from lightning to dark and she unleashes a strange foxfire ball at the creature's back while it's focused on Noire, causing it to jerk about so Noire's hit loosens it to slide down*
<Seraphna> **Jaime drops to the ground, covered in hard stone, then rolls out as it turns to mud**
<DeathStar> *the creature seems to be deciding who to attack amont the three now as Ren begins ot throw more dark fox fire*
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and aims her sword, firing a blast of Earth, Fire, Air and Electricity at it**
<DeathStar> *it jerks and eyes Jaime, falling down toward her*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> <Si.>
<Jackieness> <Noire> *gestures and use her dark arms to try to grapple the creature from multiple directions*
<Seraphna> **Si perks**
<DeathStar> *The creature strains as it's held in the air, and begins to look like it'sabout to do something*
<Seraphna> **Jaime warps to one side**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> <If they can't finish this in the next 30 sconds, I'm going ot jump to you and we'll form together>
<Seraphna> Si> <Fuu~>
<DeathStar> *Taiga seems to be crouched and preparing to leap*
<DeathStar> *Ren leaps onto the creature and slaps something onto the original head*
<DeathStar> *then wobbles and leaps off*
<Seraphna> **Jaime manifests a large spear of crystal and hyperspapce imbues it, then fires it on a stream of heated air for the middle of the beast**
<DeathStar> *the beast's head jerks from an explosio nwhen Jaime's attack hits it; Right as it breaks free from Noire, it seems to pop and falls down to the bottom, sinking*
<DeathStar> *Taiga leaps and grabs Si*
<Seraphna> **Si grabs her up**
<DeathStar> *X ripples down to check*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmmm?"
<DeathStar> *right as a massive beam shoots past her and at the ceiling, taking it out, then the alligator dragon tries to fly past them all, dissolving as it does*
<Seraphna> **SiGoon sends a blast of fire after it**
<DeathStar> *the creature dusts right as it's out of the hole it made and scatters outside*
<DeathStar> <X> .. *ripples outside*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Hey no fair
<DeathStar> <Ren> Someone take us outside too
<Seraphna> **SiDragon Flies them up**
<DeathStar> *they seem to be in the middle of an alley with people staring at them; a few of the buildings on either side look unstable now*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmm....there must be a twist to this..."
<DeathStar> *X is holding the dust in her hand that is landing all about*
<Seraphna> **SiDragon poltely helps stablize a building**
<DeathStar> <X> It seems dead to me. *She eyes the civilians all around*
<Seraphna> **Jaime sighs, staritng to use Earth powers to shore up the buildings**
<DeathStar> *Cheryl arrives on scene, helping the team shore up the buildings* You guys get the crappiest jobs
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...you have no idea. Can anyoen scan the air?"
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Sure
<DeathStar> *Cheryl does so* ... *she taps her ear* We might need to quarentine a few blocks off
<Seraphna> **Angela acknowledges, Betas coming down to set up quarantine**
<DeathStar> *Cheryl ruffles her hair* There's some containments akin to what we been seeing in the ash
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmm...we'll need a decon shower just in case."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Right. After that is done you can talk to the President. She wanted to talk to you about something before you return to the PAX, *Taps her ear* So, Angie, since I'm out here standing in the shit, you might want to see to it I'm doublely checked out
<DeathStar> *She goes back to helping the citizens since she's already there*

But you might have noticed that some of the citizens are showing signs of possibly being infected. As some of said, it's impossible to tell. We've subtly tried to scan them and nothing has come up yet

<DeathStar> <Cuddles> His body regenerated from his arm; so I compared his arm scans today to that of scans done years aro
<DeathStar> <Cuddles> The dark aura his arm is giving off is very different. It's like night and day. I am not sure what to make of it. It's also more intense
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmmmm?"
<DeathStar> <Cuddles> There's also other changes that have immensely changed from his last scan. Even brain patterns - which are the same, have dark energy auras clouding portions that weren't there before; but being Dias, I'm not sure if it's due to his training, due to him coming back from the dead, or something else
<DeathStar> <Adeline> As you can tell, it's more questions than answers
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I have theories but without a way to back it up they could just cause more problems. Especially since Dias has always been one to march to his own beat
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...I could assist with my knowledge of Dark One mysticism."
