<DeathStar> *the team is off to the side after being questioned by the police in junction with the black van and everything that happened last session. Of course, due to who they are, they are promptly released. However, the police are currently questioning the driver of the van, which means the team do not have access to him themselves*
<DeathStar> *Chii and Cheryl stand off to the side down the road as Ren and Taiga seem to be eyeing their equipment in the van*
<Seraphna> **Jaime paces, frowning**
<DeathStar> <Ren> So, how do we want to play this. <Chii> I can snatch the driver from the police if you want
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...we do not need that sort of trouble."
<Seraphna> Jaime> They took my Lenneth.
<DeathStar> <Isis> It is unlikely they had time to leave the city
<DeathStar> <Isis> So they'll probably dig in
<Seraphna> Jaime> Do we still have a tracker in her?

<DeathStar> *Isis quietly places a hand to her face*

<Seraphna> Jaime> People keep getting snatched!
<DeathStar> <Isis> HOW many trackers do you and Adeline have in family members? *while she lectures, Ren is pulling out a datapad*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yes. We should use it.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Debate the violation of privacy later. Go ahead and follow your tracker."

<DeathStar> *Ren moves toward the older part of the city*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *nods and mvoes along*
<DeathStar> <Isis> Does Jikuu know about this? *she hisses under her voice*

<DeathStar> *Isis cuts her eyes toward Jaime*
<Seraphna> Thena> **Chibi size poofs on Isis’ head**

<Seraphna> Kaelan> I tagged all your shadows decades ago.
<DeathStar> *as the group walks along the streets, they are passed by horse drawn carriages*
<DeathStar> *Taiga glances at her shadow*
<Seraphna> Thena> I tag a few people with my hyperspace.
<DeathStar> *Ren eventually leads them to a cemetary and Taiga arches her brow* <Taiga> .... Ren? You know we are not doing your ghost trips. <Ren> What? I swear the tracker led us here.
<DeathStar> *the cemetary looks ancient, like it has been around for centuries and even in the middle of the day, a light fog has settled in along the graves.*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...they must know their audience then."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Macabre.
<DeathStar> *the cemetary looks mostly empty outside a few people either exploring the older parts, or visiting family members. As Ren navigates the area, the team soon finds themselves quite alone before what looks to be a mausoleum.* <Ren> It's pointing inside
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...of course."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well we know ghosts didn't take Lenneth
<Seraphna> **Jaime opens the door for them**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Unless they were cultists...though the driver didn't really give a cultist vide."
<DeathStar> *Jaime would find the tomb locked*
<DeathStar> *Revi suddenly hangs from a moss covered tree upside down* Do you think we'll run into a cult?
<Seraphna> **Jaime tries opening the door anyway with her dragoon and trained strength**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...given our history..."
<DeathStar> *Jaime breaks the tomb door open; as they step inside they would find what looks to be an ordinary family mausoleum - well outside the fact the back of the wall has a giant hole leading underground with man made steps going down into a cave system*
<DeathStar> *Ren forms fox fire, shining down into the cave*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...naturally they have despoiled a family tomb."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Do these things normally have secret lairs?
<DeathStar> <Ren> I guess it depends on who made it? *she begins to walk down the stairs with Revi following close behind Jaime*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Only in Gothic fiction."
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Maybe we'll find the wolf man down here
<DeathStar> *Isis stays on the quiet side, looking around as they travel down*
<DeathStar> *down at the bottom the team will find Lenneth strapped up on a make shift table, with what looks to be tools to get answers out of someone - drugs, tools, etc. Beside her is an underground river and a boat set up and a monitors showing all over the city on the wall, including the cemetary*
<Seraphna> Jaime> **sends Adeline a note that her tomb is to have the best secret lair**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *whisper* "...quite an operation down here...this wasn't set up over the past hour."
<DeathStar> *Adeline replies a confirmation*
<DeathStar> <Ren> I agree. I am curious who set this up
<Seraphna> Thena> Auntie Lenneth having kinky time?
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> I am not. *she replies, her tone a little off* I am glad to see you all though
<Seraphna> **Jaime warps over to free her and pauses, looking her over**
<Seraphna> **Thena scans her mind**
<DeathStar> *she seems to have been drugged with a truth serum*
<Seraphna> Jaime> **undoes the straps**
<DeathStar> *Lenneth sits up and rubs her wrists while Ren looks around the parameter, examining the boat; the equipment looks to be EarthGov*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...the boat is still here...so they havne't escaped yet. So then where are they?"
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Should we sink it?
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> He saw you on the monitors when you came into the cemetary and went that way. *she points at a shadowy area in the room near the water*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I find it hard to believe Aya would authorize EarthGov to snatch and grab Lenneth
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...shadow spots. Alright. Jaime, stick with Lenneth. Kaelan, Ren, with me. The rest of you...pick a group."
<Seraphna> **Kaelan nods and follows**
<DeathStar> <Revi> ... *Head tilts*
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Be careful chasing after dragons
<Seraphna> Jaime> You can stick with us Revi.
<Seraphna> Angela> Wait who is the dragon in this one?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And those staying here...be alert too. They may have a followup team." *heads for the shadows*
<DeathStar> *Noire would find in the shadows what looks to be a path by the water - it isn't large and essentially forces one person at a time to move along at the water's edge down the tunnel*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...single-file. I have point." *starts down the path*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> What did the person want to ask you about, Lenneth? <Lenneth> Oh. Um, questions about what happened with Spade and Jaime.
<Seraphna> Jaime> People have to know that was a set up by now.
<DeathStar> *Ren follows Noire along the path; eventually it opens back up and the group finds themselves under what looks to be a sort of construction area. There's areas where tools and boards are everywhere like people are working on something and wooden steps leading up to something above*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Maybe, unless someone wants to use it as something
<DeathStar> <Taiga> You'd need to get rid of key witnesses to dispute it
<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads up to the new area*
<DeathStar> *Noire and the others would find themselves in what looks to be in an theater in the French Quarter. Ren makes a face at being in another theater*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Always a theater, isn't it?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Hoi… always someone wanting drama.
<DeathStar> *Ren peers out a the busy quarter* <Ren> Do we want to question people on if someone came through?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Public security cameras."
<DeathStar> <Ren> I guess we can name drop Aya and get access
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...work on that. Also look for places such as cafes or the like where people would have a view."

<DeathStar> *Ren is back behind the van with Lenneth now part of the van crew, sitting in the back. Adeline having rejoined them due to what happened.*
<DeathStar> <Ren> I got the videos from Aya loaded up into our holovids for you all to view at your leisure. *she has some food she grabbed from the city as she begin to pull out, going back onto the road*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Let's see it then."
<DeathStar> *Taiga adjusts her glasses and turns it on while Revi seems to be examining herself - practically stripping*
<Seraphna> Jaime> A conspiracy to spoil our vacation. Who could be so dastardly.
<DeathStar> *The video shows a man in his early 40's, bald, hard looking and muscular, exiting the building - he appears to be wearing a coat due to the cold. He looks around and then is seen marching along the streets and getting into another black van* <Ren> The van is a rental being paid for by some company off world. We're scanning for the guy to see if we can identify who he works for - but Aya claims he is not an EarthGov agent. She thinks he might be a free agent. Meaning he could have been hired by the Cartel, or a third party. For what purpose, we don't know yet
<Jackieness> <Noire> "This was clearly planned. Secret facility. The van following us almost from the start..."
<DeathStar> <Ren> She is looking into if the facility was an EarthGov facility or a Cartel facility that was built there without Earth's knowledge.
<DeathStar> *Revi looks herself over for trackers* Is Jaime going to quit vacation?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I do have at least 10 trackers on Jaime at all times.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "The EarthGov equipment may have been black market."
<DeathStar> <Andrea> EarthGov has not always had a clean reputation when it comes to secret facilities
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> I am not sure the Suisen can lay claim to that either. *She studies Adeline*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...me thinking is that if this were anctioned, then the local EarthGov security branch would be a more efficient place than their hole in the ground."
<Seraphna> Jaime> I plan to still try and enjoy when I can.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I am leaning toward this being not sanctioned by anyone. We'll see what happens next. For now, we'll see what happens next

<DeathStar> *Cheryl leans forward as they seem to have stopped --- into the sands of a beach*

<Seraphna> Jaime> No worries. I can get it out later. **she focuses and the van goes deeper onto the beach**
<DeathStar> *They appear to be in Key West*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Sand is just tiny rocks.
<DeathStar> *Revi steps out and lifts her mask, squinting at the sun*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm..it is time for the requisite beach episode."
<DeathStar> *Adeline stretches as she exits
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> You realize it is winter. The beach cannot be that fun
<Seraphna> **Jaime shifts her clothing into a bikini as she exits**
<Seraphna> Jaime> It is a warm region of Earth.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Still...Taiga, explain."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I'm just following Ren's map. *She holds up the line Ren made* She wanted us to come down here
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ren, explain."
<Seraphna> **Kaelan is changing Ren into a swimsuit**
<Seraphna> **Putting it on her. Not literally changing her.**
<DeathStar> *Ren is indeed changing on the bus* <Ren> My goal is to have us see some of the best sights on the planet. Well, why wouldn't we want to enjoy a beautiful beach. Especilally with how cold it is this time of year. It'll warm us up
<DeathStar> *she hops off the bus onto the sand and enjoys the sun*

<Seraphna> **Kaelan steps out in one made of translucent shadows**
<DeathStar> *Cheryl walks over to the water's edge, wearing something barely anything*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *changes into her own bikini and steps outside*
<DeathStar> *Andrea leads them to what appears to be a beach where you can wear stuff or go nude - probably on purpose*
<DeathStar> <Revi> I am confused
<DeathStar> *Isis begins to set up umbrellas and blankets with Lenneth*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mother..."
<DeathStar> *Andrea suntans naked* Yes, dear? Afraid to go all the way?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...you planned this."
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Me? *she puts a hand to her chest* I would never. That sounds like something Kaelan would do
<Seraphna> **Angela hugs Cheryl, naked**

<DeathStar> *Chii is also naked, fists on her hips and ho ho hos at the water*

<DeathStar> <Ren> Sure. *she lays down on the beach, relaxing. While Taiga sits by the water*
<DeathStar> <Revi> I thought when you were in public, one must wear clothes
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves to set up her own spot*
<DeathStar> *Cheryl soon goes topless, not caring that much*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Does anyone want to do any sports games later? *she calls out*
<DeathStar> *Fate sets down a large watermelon and a bat*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "such as, ren?"
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Volleyball perhaps.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Hm, Volleyball, that game where you get in the water and ride on top of your partner and do battle against others doing the same
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...very well, beach volleyball."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I think that’s Water Polo
<DeathStar> <Ren> Is that water polo? Where you like grab the arm bracelet from each other's teams?
<DeathStar> <Ren> We have enough people here we could make quite a few teams
<DeathStar> *Fate begins to blindfold herself and takes up the bat and begins to aim at it*
<DeathStar> *Fate swings and the entire watermelon is launched at Noire*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *is hit while lounging on the beach* "What?!"

<Seraphna> **Si leans over and scoops up some watermelon off Noire**
<DeathStar> *Taiga lifts her glasses up* <Taiga> Is it good?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks sour*
<Seraphna> Si> Pretty good.
<Seraphna> Si> Strange sourness to the sweet tart.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Noire dear, just use a spell to burn it off
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Or you could do what I'm doing
<Jackieness> <Noire> *snaps a finger and conjures dark flames to burn away the watermelon mess*
<DeathStar> *Fate lifts her blindfold up* ... the watermelon has vanished. *She looks around*

<Seraphna> Si> **shares her handful with Taiga**
<DeathStar> <Fate> Huh. *she thinks on that* I wonder what that says about your fate.
<DeathStar> *Taiga blinks and has some*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> She is Noire, burner of fruit and melons.
<DeathStar> <Ren> That just makes me hungry...
<Seraphna> Jaime> Don’t let Terra hear that.
<DeathStar> *Ren has been setting up the net*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> We can have snacks to fuel up.
<DeathStar> <Revi> Can we go sailing? *she points at some boats*
<DeathStar> <Revi> And diving under the water.

<DeathStar> *Revi hurries down to the boat rentals*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Oh my. *she follows, wearing a swim suit so Jaime won't be jealous*

<DeathStar> *Ren finishes the net*

<DeathStar> <Fate> Fate will likely one day lock you two together.

<DeathStar> <Ren> Alright, Kaelan is with me, Andrea is with you. Grandma is with me, X is with you. Mom is with me, Fate is with you. Hm, that leaves Si an odd woman out unless there is another player.
<Seraphna> Angela> Chii and I will admire Cheryl bouncing.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Perhaps as referee?"

<DeathStar> *Andrea thinks* So are we allowed to use our powers in this game, Si, to utterly crush out opponents?

<DeathStar> <Andrea> Of course. *her devil tail swishes*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...don't go overboard, mother."
<DeathStar> <Ren> .... *deadpans and turns to the others* <Ren> Get ready everyone. *The tosses the ball up and foxfire spikes it at Noire*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *chooses to simply jump and knock it back without using powers*
<DeathStar> *Cheryl steps forwad to respond in kind, hitting it back over the net when Andrea transforms into her true Dark One form and practically fist slams the ball back over and then unleashes a gravity well along with it, making the ball zoom faster past Taiga and score*
<DeathStar> *Andrea poofs back to normal*
<Seraphna> **Kaelsn grabs it up and serves back, in a series of foxholes till it rockets over**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *leaps to try to send it back*
<DeathStar> *Noire barely gets it back over with a lucky 1*
<DeathStar> *Cheryl whip grabs onto the ball and slings it back across*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *dashes to put the ball back into the air*
<DeathStar> *Fate hurries along to knock it over toward Kaelan*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan leaps up and tail slams it back**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *tries to spike it back over&
<DeathStar> *This time Noire is not as lucky and Kaelan scores the team a point*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Whooot!
<DeathStar> *Taiga walks around like an old lady, holding her back*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...Taiga appears injured, Ren."
<DeathStar> <Ren> She's fine, she's trying to get out of it
<DeathStar> <Taiga> No respect...
<DeathStar> *Taiga straightens up* Alright, alright, lets do this.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...indeed."
<DeathStar> *Andrea motions toward Noire* Serve toward their weakest
<Jackieness> <Noire> *nods and then serves a shot toward Taiga's zone*
<Seraphna> Si> Show em love!
<DeathStar> *Taiga blinks and flails, her eyes glowing golden for a moment as she barely knocks the ball up into the air on their side, allowing Cheryl to step up and spike it toward Fate in the hopes she'll fumble it. However, Fate does the same as Taiga and knocks it upward into the air for another player*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *leaps up and tries to driver it hard at the other side*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan opens a foxhole to send it back past Noire**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mother, your corner!"
<DeathStar> *Andrea leans forward, giving Kaelan a view of her body as she seems to summon a creature to slam the ball back over the net. Ren jerks and fumbles, knocking it up into the air, where the ball looks like it might just barely go over the net, leading to one of those situations all ou have to do is tap it*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *reaches up to try tapping it back over*
<Seraphna> **Kaelsn foxholes Taiga up to it**
<DeathStar> *as Noire taps it over, Taiga frantically begins to pop it up into the air and Ren then knocks it over. X then suddenly ripples her hand through past Noire and hits the ball past Ren and Taiga*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Oh come on!
<Seraphna> **Kaelan throws Sudako at it**
<DeathStar> *slams into it like an item and knocks it back across*
<DeathStar> *X blinks*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan catches her princess style and let’s get cheer from the side**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *dashes to try to return the ball*
<DeathStar> *Noire would find herself having more trouble this time and the other team scores again.*
<DeathStar> <X> Is throwing people at the ball legal?
<DeathStar> <X> I ask for future moves
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...if the refree gives them the point, then it must be."
<DeathStar> *Andrea goes to serve, eyeing them and knocks it toward Taiga - it moves super faster and seems to weigh a ton*
<Seraphna> Si> Technically she counts as an item power.
<DeathStar> *Taiga goes to knock it back but the ball does so, it seems as if it's barely crossing the net and Taiga clearly put all her power into it*
<DeathStar> *Taiga pants, kneeling*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan tosses Ren up at it**
<DeathStar> *Ren knocks it fully over and toward Noire*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *leaps to return it*
<DeathStar> *Cheryl, waiting on that rushes forward to try to knock it toward Fate, who jerks and rushes to try to respond, barely diving it and knocking it up*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *leaps up, trying to spike it at Taiga*
<DeathStar> *the ball bounces by Taiga - boop. Tie*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Ah hell. Guess we need to do a tie breaking round. This one for it all
<Seraphna> **Si feeds Taiga some restorative food**
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Before we play, should the winning team ask anything of the losing team?
<DeathStar> *Taiga chews, working her hands*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Like uh, what?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm? We did not go into this with a wager, mother."
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Kids these days. In my day, we would wager something like having to strip or run laps or take silly photos or write something embarssing and then read it to the group
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Oh well, lets just do it for the love of the sport
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm....and I'm supposed to be the daughter."
<DeathStar> *Ren whispers to Kaelan, clearly coming up with some sort of plan and handing her the ball*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan nods and takes it, then serves as she asked**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "..heads up. They are up to something."
<DeathStar> *X returns it and Cheryl casually does the same - it almost seems like a normal game*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves to return the ball*
<DeathStar> *As Noire returns it over the net, Ren suddenly puts all her strength into knocking it back over, her eyes going golden as she seems to aim it just for it to pass by Noire and Andrea, their two heavy hitters and slam into Fate, bouncing off her and going into the air*
<DeathStar> *Fate backs off so someone can get it*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *leaps back and pops it back up into the air*
<DeathStar> *Andrea forms into her Dark One form and her tai lgrabs onto and slings it over the net*
<DeathStar> *At that moment - out on the ocean, a giant pirate ship begins to rise up out of the water. Taiga turns her head as the ball whaps her in the face, bouncing up*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan tail whaps it back over**
<DeathStar> *Taiga holds her face*
<DeathStar> *Ren is staring out and pointing* Do you see that?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *leaps and tries spiking it back toward Ren*
<DeathStar> *Ren's head snaps and she knocks it up*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan slides and deflects it back**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *tries to return it once again*
<DeathStar> *the ball is returned. Ren leaps up and moves to return it as well and manages to get a 1, slamming it with a hard spike as well toward Andrea, who moves up to knock it up*
<DeathStar> *meanwhile the ship seems to be coming toward shore*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Yep, it's coming this way. *Ren can be seen shaking with excitement*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *leaps to follow up and try spiking it down just past the net*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan foxholes it up high back**
<DeathStar> *at that moment, the pirate ship fires it's canons toward the shore*
