<DeathStar> <Tsukiyomi> It is my pleasure. *A teenager that looks a lot like Tsukiko has joined them, kneeling beside Tsukiyomi as they eat, both of them watching. Azif pokes at her food suspiciously*
<Alicia> * Victoire gives thanks for the meal, before digging in eagerly
<Seraphna> **Kaelan pops a bite in Azif's mouth, then nibbles Tsukiyomi**

<DeathStar> <Calli> There you can find elite competitions being held at certain times of the year on certain worlds. If we wanted, we could enter Noire into these competitions and see who is in the running

<DeathStar> *Cheryl, Chii, and Freyja arrive with Tsukiyomi and Tsuki, as well as Stacey and Aya. For a much older woman, Stacey seems surprisingly spry*
<DeathStar> <Stacey> You all seem to be doing well. It is good to see you. *she takes a seat at the table along with the others*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan slides out of the shadow walking like she was with them the whole time** We're having a vacation.
<Seraphna> **Angela takes a seat and puts a little present in front of Si**
<DeathStar> <Aya> Yes, Dad informed me about your road trip.
<DeathStar> <Aya> I admit I am a bit surprised you all decided to go into space so quickly

<Seraphna> Jaime> Well, we cannot be preoccupied for too long. Still have an Empire to run. Catacltysm creating monsters to slay. The usual.
<DeathStar> <Aya> I just assumed you would finish all of Earth up first.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well, time tables sort of changed on us
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm..."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Always something unfortunately.
<DeathStar> <Stacey> We heard about your meeting with the President and Zephyr. I'm sure Zephyr will take what you had to say seriously. They've just been really focused on the Hayes Project and getting the AI up and running from what I've been told
<Seraphna> Angela> That's still got me. Why the new AI?
<DeathStar> <Stacey> It's something they've been working on for years actually. From what I been told. They're actually pretty close to implementing it, if they haven't starting rolling it out already
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "I cannot help but feel like this will have negative consequences."
<Seraphna> Angela> Between Reploids and Airym I figured we made base AI obsolete.
<DeathStar> <Aya> From what I can tell, it's not simply base AI. They came to Dad to ask if they could use his brain patterns to be one of them - one of the people in the database
<DeathStar> <Aya> He flat out warned them if they did that, he would burn the entire project to the ground. Needless to say, they backed off adding him to the list
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...patterning them after former officers is risky...if just one memory is out of place, then you don't know who you are dealing with."
<Seraphna> Angela> For once I'm in agreement with Chad on something.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Likewise. I am a little surprised, but I suppose Chad likes his secrets that much."
<Seraphna> Angela> Chad would make a scary AI. Too calculating, no emotions at all would be... well... just an Id.

<Seraphna> Angela> Chad has an alternate personality that lacks the base things that make Chad a person.
<Seraphna> Angela> It literally calls itself Id.
<DeathStar> <Stacey> No, only Zephyr would know and she hasn't shared it with anyone.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "'Id' is beasically unrestrained impulse with the ego or superego to rein it in."
<DeathStar> <Aya> I tried asking William once but being the chief of staff he warned me off.
<Seraphna> Angela> See, I matured. I recognize there's some good things about Chad these days.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "...'the things that make Chad a person'?"
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> There are a lot of good traits about Chad, just that these days he's frozen a lot. *Aya smiles bitterly*

<Seraphna> Angela> Though I suppose he was only a Changeling, not a full Dark One.
<DeathStar> *Cheryl seems to think hard - which seems odd since she's suppose to have a perfect memory*
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "If they cannot duplicate the emotions, the result will be... very far off."
<Seraphna> Angela> You know, the one that was obsessed with Jennifer.

<DeathStar> <Aya> Well keep in mind, they'd only be able to copy the brain patterns from EarthGov files they have on hand

<Seraphna> Jaime> I jest though, at his deepest Core, CHIP is a Progenitor AI.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Ah, that explains a lot."
<Seraphna> Angela> So how many Dragoon brain scans have they invited themselves to use?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...I heard he was coded after some techie that had a major crush on my grandmother."
<DeathStar> <Aya> But not to change the subject, do you all still play with mysteries and ghosts?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> We're a magnet for them
<DeathStar> *Stacey looks at Angela*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "We seem to stumble upon them quite a bit."
<DeathStar> <Stacey> All the dragoons are in the EarthGov database - well all the originals and all the NextGen
<Seraphna> Angela> And mine and perhaps Angel, if Cran's files have survived.
<Seraphna> Angela> Thankfully though my old files should be much different than my current ones.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Well, if you all are up to it, there's been some strange sightings going on inside the moon
<Jackieness> <Noire> "What sort of sightings?"
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Tsuki, have you been playing with Moon Ghosts~?
<DeathStar> <Aya> I've been tasked with looking into it, but I can slide the case over to you as an excuse to maybe see if you run into anything related to EarthGov activities. *she pulls out some pictures and reports* According to reports, people have been running into sightings of what looks to be a beast inside the caverns inside the moon. It looks to be fast and tall and people have been coming across what looks to be strange growth occuring down there. Samplesare being taken as we speak and I'm waiting on the results
<DeathStar> <Aya> So far it's semi injured a few people but no deaths thankfully
<Jackieness> <Noire> "How were the victims able to survive?"
<DeathStar> <Aya> Well, it seems they were mostly trampled when they were caught by surprise, and whatever it was didn't come back for them.
<DeathStar> <Aya> So they didn't try to confront it directly. I know EarthGov is sending someone to do so
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I can think of a few legends where people thought beasts were eating the moon because of solar eclipses, even if we know that's just Ama getting her big bootie in the way of my Tsuki.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So we can postulate that they were not actually attacked per se... they just got in the way."
<DeathStar> *Tsukiyomi seems to be thinking* Hm
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...the myths were related to the sun being eaten..."
<DeathStar> <Aya> Hopefully the results can shed more light, but it may be too late if a firefight breaks out down there

<Seraphna> **Kaelan, Jaime and Si follow, Thena rides on Ren's head as a Chibi Thena, clearly elsewhere at the same time**
<DeathStar> *the team arrives at what looks to be one of the many cavern entrances on the moon and Ren peers inside.*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> We don't know what we'll be expecting down here. <Chii> A moon monster
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I'll take point as I can see in the dark."
<DeathStar> <Ren> I think almost all of us can see in the dark
<Seraphna> Angela> Can anyone here not see in the dark?
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> .... Since I'm tapping into others' vision anyway, it's not really that big of an issue
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Let's go then." *heads inside*
<Seraphna> Jaime> I was going to suggest Adeline but some of her power gains may have added that benefit.
<DeathStar> *Adeline hmmms, turning her head, having been mostly quiet herself*

<Seraphna> Thena> Famfrit eyesight is the best in the dark. We came from a planet with no light!
<DeathStar> <Revi> Um, if all of us can adjust to the darkness
<DeathStar> <Revi> Would that not be a deteriment as well? If we were suddenly hit by a bright light?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yes, Momma Megumi wore shades a lot because of her light sensitivity.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I am literally darkness-aligned."
<Seraphna> Jaime> I too am Dark Element. Which is rare for Progenitors.

<Seraphna> Thena> Thena bright an shining light of hope, and Lightning Element.
<DeathStar> *Adeline seems amused, since Erevis gained the Dark element due to experiments*
<Seraphna> *Jaime wears her genetically altered freak like a badge of honor yo.*
<DeathStar> *the cave system opens up and becomes a full blown cavern, with multiple paths*
<DeathStar> *it seems to also go deeper down into the core of the moon. Ren squints, trying to read the map - despite being able to see in the dark, it still seems like she has trouble seeing the map up close*
<DeathStar> *just like when she is in the daylight*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...perhaps you need glasses, too, Ren."
<DeathStar> <Ren> I got, I got it. *she holds it out a certain distance* There
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...we are talking about this later..."
<DeathStar> <Ren> It looks like we have to go deeper.
<DeathStar> *Taiga tilts her head, hmming, peering at Si*
<DeathStar> *Chii and Freyja creep along as they take the path winding down into the moon - up ahead there seems to be a figure standing there and Cheryl motions at it, then at the team*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *nods and continues on*
<DeathStar> *it looks to be tall, and looking around*
<DeathStar> *then it kneels and seems to be touching the ground*
<Seraphna> **Si looks back, musing**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *pauses to observe*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan is distracted picturing Ren as a glasses girl**
<DeathStar> *it is hard to tell what the figure looks like, being further ahead, the team will need to creep a little further*
<DeathStar> *a beam seems to emit from it, a strange glowing light sweeping back and forth on the ground, coming from it's head?*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *slowly moves forward to try to get a better view*
<DeathStar> *Ren creeps after Noire, with Ren doing the same. The figure stands and turns, shining the light in their faces. It appears to be one of the modified EarthGov droids* <Droid> ... You all should not be down here.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...explain yourself then."
<Seraphna> Angela> Mmm, that's not a standard build.
<DeathStar> <Droid> I was not aware I had anything that I needed to explain to you.. *it unshines the light and turns back to what it was scanning a moment ago, though it's gaze lingers on Cheryl and Chii a moment, then begins to move forward*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...then you won't mind us lingering then."
<DeathStar> *one could almost swear that the Droid made a Tch sound*
<DeathStar> *after finishing whatever scan it was making, it begins to move forward, heading deeper down*
<DeathStar> <Chii> That was ... weird
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...clearly an AI based upon a particular mental pattern."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Clearly. <Adeline> That is the problem with such a program
<DeathStar> <Adeline> It could be based on any of us - we could be facing our own mental duplicate
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...the mental patterns are from former members of the EarthGov military, correct?"
<DeathStar> <Adeline> From what I understand, the program is based on whoever they seemed to be military experts or highly skilled candidates for the field
<DeathStar> <Adeline> As long as they were in EarthGov at some point which would allow them to have access to a brain pattern at some point in said career
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So how many of us here were formally a part of EarthGov then?"
<DeathStar> *Ren glances at Victoire and Jikuu, then Revi* Some of us were strictly Suisen only
<DeathStar> <Ren> But some of us were in EarthGov early in our career
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> If you're wondering about your time with me, there should be no such patterns
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Since at the point, you were borderline rogue from their point of view."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Right and I wouldn't have done a deep scan anyway unless one of you were injured and I can't recall anyone being injured that badly
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ren, map?"
<DeathStar> *Taiga stops them, pointing at the ground*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Hey, the spot that droid was scanning, look at this
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks down*
<DeathStar> *there's a giant print on the ground that looks like an animal's*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...seems that earthGov is indeed interested in our cryptid."
<DeathStar> *Ren kneels and studies the long looking print*
<DeathStar> <Ren> What could have made that?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...Taiga?"
<DeathStar> *Taiga scans the print* Well, .. hm
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Ah....
<DeathStar> *she seems flustered*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> A giant bunny? *she looks at Si*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...a moon rabbit?"
<Seraphna> Si> Fuuuu.
<Seraphna> Si> I knew this day would come.
<DeathStar> <Revi> Are moon rabbits dangerous?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *slowly looks at Si*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, um, moon rabbits are just.... you know, rabbit on the moon? Fairy tale?
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "What next? Faeries? Oni?"
<DeathStar> *Ren grabs her comm, being messaged by Aya* We got that sample back; it looks like your intruder has been going around trying to grow some sort of weird carrot crop.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...weird, how?"
<Seraphna> Si> Pretty much just the fairy tail.
<DeathStar> <Aya comm> My scientist say that the carrots are not normal carrots. They're definitely altered somehow, but we can't figure out how. We're not even sure if they're safe to consume yet. We're trying to test them more
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...how annoying."
<DeathStar> <Aya comm> But, they do put of a unique signature
<DeathStar> <Aya comm> Here, I'll send it to your datapad.
<DeathStar> *Ren's datapad beeps and a moment later, it lights up, indicating their moon rabbit has been busy growing more carrots*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Let's go find these patches then."
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "They are not pounding mochi?"
<DeathStar> <Revi> A-Are moon rabbits suppose to pound mochi?
<DeathStar> *Ren leads the way, taking a side tunnel this time*
<Seraphna> Si> They can pound Mochi.
<DeathStar> <Freyja> Are you making a lewd innuedo?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Its a Japanese legend."
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "The moon rabbits pound mochi... for some reason? It is the way the legend goes."
<Seraphna> Si> It's because we hop a lot.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Ah, I see!
<DeathStar> *as they approach the tunnel, the group would begin to hear sounds - like lots of things are moving around. As they reach the ledge of a hill, down in the valley, hundreds of cute looking moon rabbits are planting what looks to be carrots while now new rabbits are making what looks to be mochi - none of them look to be super tall like the reports say, either. The carrot field rabbits are busy gathering strange looking glowing carrots and placing them in stacks while the mochi rabbits are busy getting the mochi ready, leaping and pounding on them - as if throwing their entire body into it as they hop. It doesn't quite look right, but it they're going at it*
<DeathStar> *Ren kneels, peering down at the horde of rabbits*
<DeathStar> <Chii> Wow. That is a lot of rabbits
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...what?"
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> For some reason, I feel as if this is all Si's fault.
<DeathStar> *Taiga seems to be trying to comprehend what she is seeing* <Taiga> Where did they all come from?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We have been down here before and enver encoutnered all this."
<Seraphna> Si> B-But Momma Cherry!
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Exactly. These caverns are usually empty except for workers
<DeathStar> *The droid they encountered moves up behind them* <Droid> It is because they should not be here. They are dangerous.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...explain."
<DeathStar> <Droid> This one is not entirely sure of the cause, but something or someone has manifested them. A moment ago it was just the carrot field rabbits, but right before you arrived, this one watched more of them appeared with the substance "mochi" and began to work on it.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...I see...thank you for your openness." *moves over to Jikuu and leans in to whisper* "...time to wake up from your dream."
<DeathStar> *it points at the glowing carrots* <Droid> Scanning those carrots, they are building up energy that reads it is likely to overload at a given time as well. Whoever or whatever brought those forth will be the true threat
<DeathStar> *Ren glances at Jikuu*
<DeathStar> *the mochi rabbits meanwhile are making even more awesome mochi*
<DeathStar> *all the mochi one could want*
<DeathStar> *Chii lifts Si up and shakes her about*
<Seraphna> Si> Mochiiiii!
<DeathStar> *more mochi rabbits appear*
<DeathStar> *filling the cavern up*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Um, Si?
<Seraphna> Si> Huh? Love?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> What are you doing, dear?
<DeathStar> *The droid pulls out a gun and holds it ready, eyeing the swarm of rabbits*
<Seraphna> Si> I have no idea!
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "I am sorry?"

I also know the Erusians are helping with the peace talks, so it migh not be a bad idea to go there first if you want to get a feel for the land
