<DeathStar> *Ren pauses, ears springing up, then stuffs her sandwich into her mouth and brings out her datapad, looking it up*

<DeathStar> *Ren pauses, then sets the datapad back down and removes the sandwich* Since it has an insect like sound, most opt to call it by the planet number that it was discovered by, Planet HR43498
<DeathStar> <Ren> That's why I call it the Dessert Planet
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm?" *goes to bring it up screen*
<DeathStar> *the planet seems to be an insect like planet that has evolved, making many of the desserts that has become popular themselves, though they are secretative on their ingredients and how they make them. It seems this planet is located in the Unknown Regions and was discovered when everyone was pushing further into the area*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Strange that an insectoid species would produce desserts for humanoids."

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...the planet had been infected by a Dark Seed, so I consumed it all. Even mother was floored when I pulled off that feat."

<DeathStar> *Ren sits beside Noire, having finished eating and joins Noire, stretching a bit and curling a little into a fluff ball; she eyes the wall, squinting at the pool match*

<DeathStar> <Ren> Depends on if you count crazy as running a bunch of scenarios and plans in my head as I sit here. I'm turning into my grandmother and mother
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Perhaps you are merely shedding the youthful notion that one must maintain false fronts."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Heh. Maybe. You should see my room. It'd be scary. *She doesn't go into it* I'm hoping though mom can give me more data to guess more into what these Unknown - Eaters - are. I feel like there are two types and that just means we need more information

<DeathStar> <Ren> But I feel like there are the ones who have some intelligence to them and then there are the ones you all described as monsterous and hungry

<Jackieness> <Noire> "There is clearly some greater intelligence involved, otherwise they would just swarm in and start eatting. Indeed...why the subterfuge? from what we have learned, they are virtually unbeatable with our resources. Why this clumsy divide and conquer strategy?"

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Indeed... it would have made more sense to hit us withotu warning. Their attempts at sabotage has simply allowed us to leanr more about them."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Right! It is like they want us to know
<Jackieness> <Noire> "The question is...why?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> *slump* No idea
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmm..perhaps they want someone to beat them."

<DeathStar> *Taiga seems to be examining some data while they talk, arms crossed in thought*

<DeathStar> <Ren> I am surprised you two made such a ship. <Taiga> She wanted unique. It still is even all these years later. Some ways it is an opposite to the PAX
<Jackieness> <Noire> "As unique as I am."
<DeathStar> *Taiga looks at Ren* Your theory has merit. I'll need more data points - aka some of their cells. Shame we couldn't retrieve the one defeated in the other Mirror Universe

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Based on how some in our group has described reaching to the enemy as feeling like it is a void in reality itself and even seeing them causes immense pain, Ren wonders if the enemy is just that - a product of our reality. But that raises questions. <Ren> So we should keep the theory on the down low until w knnow more
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...and what are the implications of this theory?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> The implications are that the very existence of reality is trying to destroy us for some reason. *She muses* Especially those who are higher evolved with abilities. The reason I'm leaning toward that is it also seems to be announcing it as you said
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So if it wants us gone...why broadcast it? Why not just...mmmm...snuff us out?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> That is a good question. One I'd love to know. Why wait another six months
<DeathStar> <Ren> The Upper Reality certainly had no problem wiping everything out
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Though that was after letting Chad squirm and rail against the heavens for years."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, until we can identify more information points, all we can do is keep moving under the radar and hope they don't take notice of us. IT's just annoying they can seemingly remain unseen
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...why do we have to see them?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, it makes it hard to know if they're around otherwise. Plus we know for a fact they can alter reality to a degree and take control of people
<DeathStar> <Ren> It's one reason I don't want us to be too open about what we're doing
<Jackieness> <Noire> "What I mean is...can we detect the absence of something...can we perceive a void where they are?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I'm not sure to be honest. The only reason voids have been noted before is because people have actively known they were in the room
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Devices so far have not detected anything beforehand
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Then we know how they affect people...so why does technolgy not detect them?"

<DeathStar> <Ren> I agree, it is one reason the Squall was not bulky like the PAX when it was designed to be the new command ship. *she nods*

<DeathStar> *taking a detour to an insect like world before going to Tareh, the ship is currently parked on a world in the Unknown Region where these strange insectoid aliens produce strange sweets that has become the topic of discussion among the various races. Their strange hive like buildings can be seen in the distance as Ren is attached to the door*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "....Ren, temper your enthusiasm."
<DeathStar> *Revi stares at Ren oddly, while Cheryl and Chii are getting ready to depart. Taiga opens the door and looks around - the air almost smells of honey*
<DeathStar> *Ren grabs Victoire and runs ahead*
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Is she normally like this?"
<DeathStar> *Revi makes sure Astra doesn't get lost in all this*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Taiga, get some samples while we are here. I don't want to find out thjhat the candy is made of people after-the-fact."

<DeathStar> *Chii leads Cheryl along toward the largest hive location; as they get close, the inside has been constructed to accomodate the various races that come, complete with humanoid seating and counters, with signs showing what they are selling. Many of it looks to show a delightful array of sweets*

<DeathStar> *Kalean would find it utterly delightful; it would remind her of cakes back on Earth, or something Ulieah or Gemane might make*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Ah.... *she pauses* Well, I will say this... it is um, safe to eat at least.

<Alicia> * Victoire waits patiently until the scan is done, actually saying a thankyou for the food, then digs in
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It is much like how bees or other insects make honey. *she peers up* All the cakes and items seem to have been made in the same process. And there seems to be enzymes in it that stimulate the mind that brings out the taste that reminds the person of their favorite flavors.

<Seraphna> Si> Is that why this cake tastes like Taiga…
<DeathStar> *Taiga shakes her head* No - just I would not call these literally chocolate cakes due to the process the way the insects ma---- *she pauses and eyes Si*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> While Kaelan continues to go there, she mainly goes to see their version of Tsukiyomi - who we know is an immortal goddess that never changes, as well as her daughter that comes and goes from there to here who also doesn't really age that much due to being a half kitsune, half god.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But throwing that out of your mind, the last time we really interacted with Tareh or the Alternate Reality was pretty long ago.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Every time I go to the kingdoms I gave to learn a bunch of new Queens and it gets tedious.

<DeathStar> *as Taiga steps out, the station full of various inventions of Taiga's laying about, a back scratcher* <Ren> I'd like to go there now because we have a group that blew up the upper portion of our reality

<DeathStar> *inside the meetign room is an ancient machine - the candy vending machine. Ren eyes it dubiously, since it holds some candy bars*
<DeathStar> <Ren> .... *she slowly reaches for the button*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves into the meeting room and takes a seat*
<DeathStar> *Ren taps it and soon is holding what looks to be ancient candy. Revi and Calli make faces as she holds it, as well an Omega Coke*
<DeathStar> <Chii> ..... <Cheryl> Why is that thing here?
<Alicia> * Jikuu sits down, watching, Victoire sitting one over, Astra sitting between
<DeathStar> *John snatches the Omega Coke from Ren* Oh hey, a classic. *he opens it up and begins to drink it. A moment later, you can see his spirit leave his body*
<DeathStar> *laying across the table. Ren stares down at him, then slowly opens her candy and bites into it as she sits down*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...are we finished with the shenanigans?"
<Seraphna> Angela> I could have sworn the last can was destroyed by that Erusian hit squad.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Ren had a theory, based on feedback everyone was giving her
<Jackieness> <Noire> *turns her attention toward Ren and Taiga*
<DeathStar> <Ren> People were describing feeling like dealing with the Unknown were like a void in reality. Trying to see them causes immense pain, like trying to acknowledge their existence taxes the brain. They can scramble or rewrite reality. They can control people as has been shown. And Noire has stated her feelings that the Unknown for some reason are not acting rationally - as if they are trying to be stopped or caught despite having the fire power to stop us. We know they practically will in six months until all our powers are taken away and it leaves them ... floating dead in space? Or something?
<DeathStar> <Ren> So my theory is this - they're reality itself trying to wipe us out. And this strange game might be if it hasn't decided if it wants to do it
<DeathStar> <Ren> And in six months, that is when it finally decides to do it
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I clearly believe there is more to it than just reality - there is sentience to them, but you all described monsterous beasts in the future as well. There is clearly two types of these Unknown.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...then the question is why reality is suddenly behaving this way."
<Alicia> <Victoire> "... I'll have to do more concerts."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Why would anything wish to destroy itself.

The temple for the most part looks pretty much the same, despite Tareh's accelerated time. It has the serene moon feel that the Prime version's has, but one can tell it is underground as well*

But one can feel the magic in the air, as if it's coming from the very ground itself. And nature is all around the city, being super vibrant*

<DeathStar> *As they step inside, Tsukiko talks with some of the guards and the guards then begin to lead them up the building; the entire place seems to be filled with people from all over the place, who study the group curiously, until they enter the chamber of a firey red haired woman, who is sitting on a hard looking chair*

<DeathStar> *Charity rises and approaches each of them, glancing at them - she stares at Revi's fox mask, then looks into Astra's face as she passes each of them*

<DeathStar> <Charity> I will give you the quickest recap of the situation that I can

<DeathStar> <Charity> The Mage Nations can be considered loosely allied one another as a group due to the technology we use and the fact we practice magic under the Mason Guild. I suppose you recall the ones who began the Guild, but now their descendants run the current day Guild and strictly monitor magic and it's operations so that there are no problems with the leylines and so no corruption seeps into it, as well as poisoning our planet. The other Kingdoms use purely technology and do so because they feel magic is too dangerous and can lead too much harm, even as their technology leaves waste and harm to the environnment in other ways. And they are not overseen by anyone unlike the Mason Guild.
<DeathStar> <Charity> However, the two sides still were able to be peaceful despite the differences and worked to keep the planet healthy
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Why are they even so seperated?"
<DeathStar> <Charity> However, recently, the other side claimed the Mason Guild had members attacking their factories and destroying valuable equipment, despite no one at the Guild doing so. And afterward, fringes from their side began to form and attack magical facilities back. Now we seem to have these mysterious fringes from both sides, and at first neither was owning up to it until this man stepped forward that we never heard of. He seems to be the other side's leader. Someone called Nicodemus. My people have not been able to locate where he is at yet
<DeathStar> <Charity> Why? Some people fear magic and it's effects. And there has been a history in the past in this world where magic was doing damage to the enviornment, but that should be over
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "...yay false flag operations..."
<Alicia> <Victoire> "Good work, you're getting better at expressing emotion!"
<DeathStar> *Charity looks confused*
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "I am... not good at emoting."

<DeathStar> <Charity> The vault is not kept on the maps. It has been hidden in this building since the old palace

<DeathStar> *Charity heads down the stairs as alarms go off and guards are converging; Adeline follows Jaime, as does Calli and the others; they seem to be heading to the sub-basement level*
<DeathStar> *down in the sub-basement, a magical barrier is before them*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...was this a feint of some sort? Or...is an infiltrator here with us?"
<DeathStar> *Charity seems paranoid, then shakes her head* We must see - the alarms were going off, after all. *she weaves the Angel's mark on the barrier and it lowers it*

<DeathStar> *inside, the group would see what looks to be tons of gold, a painting of Mercy on the wall, gold bars, a magical lute and ocarina are on a shelf, a strange fire colored orb can be seen rolling about on another, and a black one on a second one*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...if I may...I would send out some 'feelers'."
<Seraphna> Jaime> This does not seem like much worth the trouble.
<DeathStar> <Charity> The real treasure is beyond here
<DeathStar> <Charity> This is just a front
<DeathStar> *Charity nods to Noire as Ren looks around, sniffing the air*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *raises a hand and then sends out small dark matter spheres in every directions*
<DeathStar> *Charity moves to the picture as Noire does that; Noire would find the room clear as her spheres spread out, it looks like nothing is in here, but a moment later, everyone would begin to feel violent shaking, as if the area is breaking apart*
<DeathStar> <Ren> What the hell ? <Taiga> .... *touches the ground* Something big is here....
<Jackieness> <Noire> "But not in the room proper...under us?"
<DeathStar> *Revi pulls Astra closer to herself*
<Seraphna> **Jaime feels out the Earth under them**
<DeathStar> *the shaking seems to stop and a loud noise is heard from behind the picture. Charity seems to panic and begins to channel some magic into it*

<DeathStar> *a the picture vanishes, on the other side the team would see a massive magic room that looks to have been a chronosphere to hold a person in statis. Mercy seems to have been being held there, but a giant digging machine with arms is pulling her out and into it*
<DeathStar> *a bearded man with goggles looks at the team as he retrieves her*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Hey that’s my bodyguard.
<DeathStar> <Charity> That's the founder!
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and collapses the tunnel behind the machine**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *sends her tendrils to ensnare the machine*
<DeathStar> *the man turns to eye his readings, then ducks into the machine*
<DeathStar> *a giant gun like device comes out and aims at the group, charging*

<DeathStar> *Mercy seems to mumble, looking like she is unable to speak yet*
<Seraphna> **Jaime pounds her foot and crystal rock fists try to pummel

<DeathStar> <Ren> uh guys. *by now the machine is definitely sparkiking and looks ready to blow*
