Mystery at the Mansion
Location: Cheryl's Manor
Taiga brings the club to the manor to investigate what occurred during the attack in the beginning of all of this, hoping to see if they can gain a little more insight. They are joined by Evette who seems as if she is hiding something as well as Lemon joins them. The group investigates the damage done to the floor; Adeine uses the hyperspace energy given to her by Jaime, which once belonged to the real Erevis, and compares it ot the attack site. It does not seem to be a match, belonging to another Progenitor.
Investigating the police files and checking over what is on them, they find the reports say Mem is dead. Comparing the power of the blast by the unknown Progenitor, it seems unlikely it would have killed Mem - severely wounded her, but killing her seems unlikely. Also, it seems like the Progenitor took great pains to destory their computer system for some reason. While Taiga manages to retrieve the data from the cloud and they see what looks to be Gordon as the attacker, but there appears to be a second Progenitor as well, but they seem to purposely obscure their features with some sort of rapid movement. Using the signature a second time, Adeline still gets no hit from Erevis hyperspace, even when Lemon believes there is some red hair in the second figure.
Evette takes them to Aya's medical wing in her Presidential Building where Vodka leads them to a wounded Mem. Nearly recovered now, Evette reveals that the hope is Mem can use her unique vision to look at Erevis and see if her aura is on the up and up. Since the attack on her had to be for a reason. For the time being, however, the team decides to keep Mem being alive on the down low, especially since she is not fully recovered.
