<Stretch> *Kaylin powers up their weapons systems and takes aim at the probe as the weapons charge*

<Jackieness> <Airym> "I can attempt to modulate ship systems to broadcast a Botworld IFF signal once we are clear."
<Sara> * Erica hits full impulse thrusters for now, with a slight shake to it to try to literally shake the probes

<DeathStar> *The probes are shaken off and the ship chases them, a bit quicker surprisingly but before they catch up they leap into lightspeed. A bit later the botship is detected in following but due to how it works, they are hours behind and will arrive 20 mins after they arrive at their next location*

<Sara> <Erica> Scramble our signals, drop a beacon with our old signal as we go
<Xanatos`> <Pepper> You know, if you could map where they're going to come out of lightspeed we could leave them a mine surprise!
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Configuring a probe with our signature, captain."
<DeathStar> <Mireille> That would be rather hard to predict but I can try
<Sara> <Erica> Apparently, mines won't work. *she glances at the others, having no experience with these bots*

<Xanatos`> <Pepper> Well I'm just saying where they pop out before they have time to react and assimilate. But the maths is way ahead of me

<Seraphna> Cookie> "If I remember correctly, Earth had pretty much gotten screwed by the time they were stopped, but Airym managed to talk them down at the end, hence becoming a Mother Node."
<Jackieness> <Airym> "If we cannot destroy them immediately, they will win wby attrition."

<Seraphna> * Cookie frowns and grabs her coat, rising. "We should check on Deck 21."

<DeathStar> <Yuki> Well, shields do drop for like a few seconds when you jump into light speed. But the calculations needed to pull it off to teleport over onto a ship

<Stretch> *Kaylin stands and reaches to her back, pulling out her assault rifle from nowhere as she heads towards the elevator*

<DeathStar> <Yuki> Yeah, I guess they are. *The systems on deck 21 are minor, but it can be a beach head to more*
<Sara> * Erica herself stays behind on the bridge for now

<Xanatos`> 6* Pepper hops on the lift, now holding her smg.
<Sara> <Erica> I'll hang out here. In a situation like this we should have at least one executive officer on the bridge.

<Jackieness> <Airym> "Perhaps I can establish communication with them based upon my past experiences." *moves to the lift*

<Stretch> *Kaylin waits for anyone else to enter before letting the lift close doors and head to 21*
<DeathStar> *they arrive in the kitchen and the lights here flicker*
<DeathStar> *with some of the walls turning greenish with circuits*

<Seraphna> Cookie> "Going for the brownies, dirtiest tactic... oh dear.."

<Seraphna> * Cookie taps her comms. "Definately some kind of bot infection up here."
<Stretch> *Kaylin starts scanning the kitchen, holding her rifle at the ready as she makes her way in*
<Sara> <Erica> *c* Roger. Second-guess communications however in case they infect them.
<DeathStar> *the floor they are currently on seems to be a minor floor for routing power to minor systems*
<Xanatos`> <Pepper> Bleh. 6* She follows the path of the infection trying to track it to the source.
<Stretch> *Kaylin starts checking the floor that they *are* on, making her way in the same direction*
<Seraphna> * Cookie sticks with Pepper for now. Forming her guns.
<Jackieness> <Airym> *scans around the area*
<DeathStar> *the floor seems to have human organic substance smeared all over the walls to help grow the circuits. The green circuity grows much faster with the human goo, Airym can learn a thing or two here. A dissolving human is on the floor there, melting from sort of dissolving agent there. Also a gun is going green and being assimilating*
<DeathStar> *in the kitchen above, the machines are being assimilated and food broken into goo*
<Xanatos`> <Pepper> WHOA it's a person.
<Seraphna> * Cookie grumbles and shifts her weapon's power to send out an electromagnetic feedback and fires it at the assimilating gun and the infection curiously.
<DeathStar> *the officer reaches for Pepper, his jaw dissolving as he tries to cry out to her, and teeth falling out onto the floor, dissolving and breaking down, the floor going green. The clothing then rots and falls part*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Initiaing deep penetration scans of this technology." *scans the goo and circuitry*
<Stretch> *Kaylin briefly looks at the body to see who it is but continues towards the highest concentration of the green circuitry*
<Xanatos`> 6* Pepper makes an ew sound and jumps back, then looks guilty.
<Seraphna> Cookie> "Okay, no holding back, they've officially killed our crew."
<Jackieness> <Airym> "I also recommend evacuating adjacent areas of the ship."
<Seraphna> * Cookie taps the comms again. "Evact the floors above and below the section. They're using the crew."
<DeathStar> *the circuity seems to be Bot technology, just more advanced. The gun is shot and adapts to the hit*
<DeathStar> *a Bot then steps out, 6
<DeathStar> *a Bot then steps out, 6'5 and red eyes. It seems Kaylin and injects something into her neck, then turns to Airym*
<DeathStar> *reaching for her neck*
<Seraphna> * Cookie lifts her other gun and peers at it, then fires wher where she things the core is.
<Seraphna> *thinks
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Strange, the technical base is Bot, but more advanced. This is unexpected." *then turns around* "Evacuate and sedate Kaylin now."
<DeathStar> *it pauses at Cookie attacking the gun and turns, aiming at Cookie to make her goo*
<Xanatos`> 6* Pepper jerks and aims her SMG at the bot, firing.
<Stretch> *Kaylin stutter steps, dropping to a knee at the injection before spinning and aiming centermass before firing into the Bot's chest*
<Seraphna> * Cookie dives to one side and fires again at it's core. "Kaylin, it's going to try compromising your systems."
<DeathStar> *the bullets fire into the Bot and it then Kaylin's shots. It stumbles back, the adapation field having trouble with SMG shots at first before it finally begins to. It lumbers forward*

<Jackieness> <Airym> "Dismantle it before it repeairs itself."
<Seraphna> Cookie> "Make sure it's dead. They adapt to anything they;re attacked with so you need to change up attacks."
<Xanatos`> 6* Pepper salutes and grabs a pipe, beating on it to break off parts.
<Stretch> Kaylin> I don't have remote connections...and I'm half biological. So it will have trouble taking control of me.
<DeathStar> *Denise's kitchen is Botified. All the stuff in it ruined*
<Seraphna> Cookie> And yeah... it's hard to adapt to physics so those work well."

<DeathStar> *The Bot steps out and heads for the quarters near by to go after crew members*

<Seraphna> * Cookie growls and rushes at that bot, firing at it with EMP, and then a laser bolt. "No. You. Don't!"

<DeathStar> *Kaylin would feel her organic parts melting slowly as her robotic parts are beign taken over*

<Seraphna> * Cookie instead continues to follow the source, pulling out a pistol and firing at circuitry as she goes to try and disrupt different points.

<kalonZombie> 6*She leaps at it, grabbing the knife, and stabs it in what appear to be vital parts. Maybe cutting cords. Who knows. She's going full beserker right now.
<Stretch> *Kaylin shudders as she reaches to steady herself* How do we stop the spread of this...bio-infection?
<Jackieness> <Airym> "We must get Kaylin into stasis before it is too late. I recommend venting drive plasma into the infected sections of the ship."
<Seraphna> * Cookie peers back at Kaylin and blinks. "Shit. Okay, let's get her out of here and do that."
<DeathStar> *Cookie would find a power node as likely where they came in but there's no "source". the Bots are botifying what they can"*
<DeathStar> *The Bot is damaged but fires the goo gun at her arm, beginning the process if she doesn't run*

<Seraphna> * Cookie moves back and heads towards the lift. Motioning them to follow. She taps the comms again. "Erica, we're evacing here, evac the floors around, cut power to them, and then we need to blast this out."
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Evacuate all infected sections and seal the bulkheads." *heads to the lift*
<DeathStar> *The Bot tracks her melts part of her arm. It begins to melt and then grabs Denise lifting her up* <Bot> You will aid the collective by speeding up our process
<Stretch> *Kaylin allows the assistance, her legs starting to get wobbly as her organics are being broken down*
<Sara> <Erica> *c* Hey, so, I have an idea. A plague like this can, if it's anything like the biological equivilant, only spread so long as the host is hospitable. If we infected our own ship with other viruses to make the ship into an inhospitable host...
<Seraphna> * Cookie taps the lift, peering fro any other danger as they get on.

<DeathStar> *It shoots and melts her hand off with the meat clever, even as it's head falls off*

<DeathStar> <Yuki> I have had the computer system works on identifying the Bots. Apparnatly the second intruder is destroyed

<Seraphna> Cookie> "I tried EMPing part of it, but it's somehow resisting and adapting that too."
<Sara> <Erica> I've started the self-virus process. Airym can move it along much better than I can.
<Seraphna> Cookie> "I'd hoped it would shut it down..."
