<DeathStar> 6* After going to the Hapian Castle and seeing the sanctuary, the team helped Neekito and Kito. There, they raided Malfoy's office and got a map. However, all of them were about as perceptive as Chad Winters (cont)
<DeathStar> 6* So they had to drag the Queen's consort, who was highly pregnant to the Academy to help them, since she was the only wasn't as perceptive as Chad Winters. During this, Neekito and Kito saved the day up on Kumen and helped write new lays for Fauna (cont)
<DeathStar> 6* A few days later, the team is gathered up in the offices of Sasha, with the map on the table*
<Seraphna> ALita> "I keep feeling like we're as perceptive as an old man who vanishes on his family for decades for weird reasons."

<Seraphna> * Talia tilts her head, then takes some powder out of Alita's pouch and sprinkles it on.

<Sara> * Liana lets out a soft sigh and carefully gets up and moves over to the map. "Kito, do you have a duster?"

<Sara> * Liana lightly bats at the powdered map with the duster, similar to makeshift dusting for prints
<Xanatos> 6* Simon keeps dusting himself off and then sneezes again.
<DeathStar> *prints do show up, but no landmarks circles or anything like that*
<DeathStar> *the prints seem to be held rather cautiously on the corners*
<Seraphna> Alita> "The stuff I use to numb wounds and such. It has a slight narcotic in the mix."

<Sara> * Liana shakes her head and places a candle on top of the map, safely in its holder

<Sara> * She waits to let the map get warmer
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Ahem... why is your child here?"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> 3 days in and the sanctuary is already not doing it's job.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Because I'm holding her. It's something children appreciate once in a while.
<DeathStar> *as it heats up, the map begins to reveal circles*
<Sara> * Liana gently lifts the candle so that they can see properly
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Vyvy, your daughter will be safe and cared for at the Sanctuary."
<Sara> <Liana> So I suppose it was a reagent. Invisible markings.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon blinks and quickly begins writing down each thing that's circled.
<Sara> <Liana> Very faint under normal circumstances.
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy deadpans at Sasha, peering at the map rather than responding.
<Sara> <Liana> Grandpa dealt with mysteries like this sometimes. *she sighs wistfully*
<Seraphna> Alita> "They are very exciting in his books."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Now then, what have we found?"
<Seraphna> ALita> "Like the one where he solved 14 murders with a pineapple."
<Sara> * Liana peers at the circles
<Seraphna> Talia> "Talia did not expect that the Butler did it at all."
<DeathStar> *The circle area seems to be near the Legion territory fields near the lava*
<Xanatos> <Simon> Legion territory.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Hmmm... does anyone ecognize that location?"
<Xanatos> <Simon> I can't say I've ever been to this particular place, however.
<Sara> <Liana> Near Salamander's volcano, right? ... I am not in shape for a trip like that...
<DeathStar> <Qui> It could be the Fortress/Trading Post ot it could be the fields with no one there
<DeathStar> <Gwen> What's Malfoy doing there?

<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I never planned to take Edna 'into the field.' But while I'm here, there's no reason I shouldn't spend time with the batch.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> SOME of you might be fine with little parental contact..." She gazes at Sasha. "But such isn't the case for most..."
<Sara> <Ellie> Huh? Are they all still here?
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy holds out Edna to Liana.
<Sara> * Liana gently cradles her and leaves the room
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *stands* "The Academy has been assaulted multiple times... their safety cannot be guaranteed here, I fear."
<Seraphna> ALita> I was under the impression the children were at the Palace, not the Academy.
<DeathStar> *Gwen shrugs* The palace and academy are connected
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Indeed, the portals are convenient.
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy holds up a hand. "Lady of flame, you're near, aren't you?"
<Xanatos> 6* Simon glances between everyone then moves to prepare to leave.

<Seraphna> * Alita rises and grabs her things, Talia hopping on her shoulder. Talia paws. "Fire lady pretty."

As they are each tagged, she begins to transport them, the academy fading and warping, then the field appearing within seconds. The blue sky appearing overhead as they are all now outside. <DeathStar> 6* Gwen glances around at the fort ahead, then muses* We have a lot of territory to cover
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Then we had best start walking."
<Seraphna> Alita> "Perhaps I can ask Mykel's cousin for assistance?"

<Xanatos> 6* Simon glances up, shielding his eyes slightly

<Xanatos> <Simon> Indeed. 6* He nods to Alita and Ceilia, then begins moving forward.

<Seraphna> ALita> *she rummages for her notebook and pages through it till she pulls out a picture of Malfoy*
<Seraphna> Alita> "Good thing I love to sketch everything."

<Seraphna> * Another picture, one of Liana falls to the flor.
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy rubs her head, watching them. She never sketched Malfoy, just the cat and fox.

<Sara> * Ellie starts to march

<Xanatos> 6* Simon slows his pace so they can catch up with him.
<Seraphna> * Talia hops down to get the Liana picture and hides it in her own space.

<Seraphna> Alita> "I think he's been largely out of the picture since you've joined us, Simon."
<DeathStar> 6* The fortress, more of a trading post now, seems to have been build long ago for a war with the Hapians. It is massive and has a ton of stone and other materials. It stands with a ton of weapons and other cannons. Salamander walks along and the soldiers bow and prostate themselves as they arrive and inside is a large market, with Legionare, Amazons, and Hapians trading with each other. It seems to be a small city now, with the houses and streets going all over*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I've not seen him since the rogue magi threat was dealt with."
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy can't help but chuckle. "They sure are humble around you again since you thumped that meatball that tried to take your place."

<Nyaomi> * Vyvy jerks and sniffs indignantly.

<DeathStar> *The Legionare pauses, lips twitching a bit, peering at Salamander, then nods* To my office. *He walks with a slight waddle and leads them to a room that's higher up, not with the common folks and into a room that has fans spinning, using spirit-tech from Hapian. Three women in silk see-through robes hold out grapes to them as they step in and Gwen stares*

<Xanatos> <Simon> I trust you're popular compensated? 6* He asks the women.

<DeathStar> 6* The man sits in a chair that has 4 layers of pillows and then begins to slowly rifle through his desk, as if taking his time, peering at Salamander and the others slowly, sweat going down his forehead slowly, licking his lips

<Sara> * Ellie looks over her shoulder at the others and tries not to smirk at the instant karma the man is receiving.
<Seraphna> Alita> "Well... it would seem Salamader wants you to tell us everything, honestly."
<DeathStar> <Legionare Officer> I did not know you were part of the Academy *he blubbers to Salamander, grabbing onto her legs and kissing all over them, getting a bit lewdly. A moment later Salamander kicks him back, breathing a bit angerily, red faced*

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I am the headmistress of the Academy."

<DeathStar> 6* The large man tries to pull himself up, a footprint on his face and he uses his desk to sit up, tears on his face either from the pain or actually shamed

<Sara> * Ellie wonders to herself how one would wash a fire; glances at Sylph.

<Nyaomi> * Vyvy rubs Salamander's shoulders while listening.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Remember, in the end, we got rid of them
<Sara> <Ellie> Without an Academy? What do you mean?
<Sara> <Ellie> Qui is the one who built it back up, that was while we were gone
<Seraphna> Alita> "Well they basically administrated the Academy and formed the teaching structure, they're not a part of it now."
<Seraphna> Alita> "Are they just... being some organization of their own?"
<DeathStar> *the man shrugs*
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Not all of them were as ... beneficial or good-natured as mine was.
<DeathStar> <Qui> Where did you send the signal to?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...and where are they now?"
<Xanatos> <Simon> This Tamae is a group you've encountered before?
<Sara> <Ellie> Oh, that's what you meant. Hmm... I never met mine while I was studying.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> The Tamae were basically ... *He grasps for words*
<Sara> <Ellie> Just my teacher, no one further.
<Seraphna> Alita> "I met mine a little too often for my taste now. They tried to wrest control of the Academy from the Headmistress."
<Sara> <Ellie> Oh...
<DeathStar> <Gwen> They were in the school and were compromised of teachers, politicians, whatever, and was formed since that was the only way they would work with Miyuki at the time
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> They were like subsects and authorities that often didn't see eye to eye with Miyuki. Mine was ambivalent and I could reason with her, but many had their own agenda.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> It was a struggling balance with her and them
<DeathStar> <Gwen> They had skills and abilities learned, but many hated each other. Some Tamae wanted the others destroyed
<Sara> * Ellie shrugs. "Sounds unnecessary." She goes back to keeping watch
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Now it looks they want that power back even if it means working together. Looks like no one wants them around
<DeathStar> <Gwen> And they miss that power
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> and perhaps why they are gone now, but amassing a neutral, international power was only possible with them, keep in mind.

<Xanatos> 6* Simon seethes and sprints towards the closest machine.
<DeathStar> *Brooke nods and rushes to the water, avoiding a shot*

<Nyaomi> * Vyvy immediately draws her blade and slashes into the net going for Salamander, dumping Malfoy from her other shoulder.

<Seraphna> Alita> "Attacking students and setting fires to buildings. Is this the Tamae you felt could run a school, Malfoy?"
<Sara> * Ellie begins firing on the machine, using her strongest arrows and attacks -- plus the fact that she's using this weapon now instead of her old bow, finally.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Where is the Tamae leadership?!"
<DeathStar> 6* The team manages to blow up two machines, and three more turn to face the group, with Sylph using her magic to speed them up.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> No idea. *he works on getting people out*
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy smiles at Ellie and Sylph before she begins to enlargen. "Maeda, please help the students."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *dashes toward one of the machines and slashes at it*

<Seraphna> * Alita create a Pillar of Flame under one (10 HP Fire Damage) while Talia forms her Familiar Blade and goes at another.
<DeathStar> *perhaps seeing the tide turning, the remaining machines begin to retreat, scattering in various directions, to make it harder, while they take down 3 more. 4 more machines stand to slow them down for their friends*

<Xanatos> 6* Simon uses Iron-Will Lv 1 and Elemental Weapon Lv. 1 to enhance the level and elemental abilities of his spear. Leaping up with a double jump of sorts with magic he aims to come crashing down for the top of one of the 3 mechs spear pointed down to impale it.
<Sara> <Ellie> How many of these are there!? *she keeps firing on them with arrows, including elemental arrows, unleashing a rain of arrows on the ones that are stalling*

<Nyaomi> * Vyvy muses, then calls to Shade since Spira is likely with the children, beginning to take flight; she won't let the machines escape.
<DeathStar> *the machine sparks and jerks, falling over and breaking apart*

<Seraphna> * Alita stabs the ground with her staff and uses Stay AWake, actively healing the group and restoring their stamina as she starts using another Smote attack.

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *turns and sends her string trap at the charging machines and detonates it*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon leaps from the machine and continues on to the next, calling up an ice wall to slow some down so he cna ge tto them.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> So much stronger when I'm not alone." She rumbles, then turns her head and breaths elemental darkness for the closest machine retreating, flapping to begin an aerial stalking of those turning tail
<Seraphna> * Alita then calls for the mage students to assemble and begins yelling out orders for those that respond to use elemental attacks in unison on fleeing machines.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia keeps the students evacuating, despite their retreat, fearing a feint
<Seraphna> * Alita doing this since she's been teaching them for months.
<DeathStar> 6* As Sasha takes out another, they pound and attack the wall, working their way through it. One does a pot shot at Alita to shut her up, firing a missile*
<Sara> <Ellie> I came so far -- I met Sylphie, I even started teaching. This place is dear to me and I refuse to let anyone destroy it! *she looks for Sylph, planning to combine with her*
<DeathStar> 6* Sylph touches Ellie, spinning with her ala magical girl. Strangely, a girl hovers near by watching all this and seems to be watching the two - she doesn't look to be a student
<Seraphna> * Alita fires out a fireball to intercept it, Talia holding out her sword and forming a Spirit shield to guard.

<Sara> * Ellie-Sylph gives her only a mere glance before she takes off at high speed, reforming her weapon into a sword and lashing out at the escaping machines with wind power.
<DeathStar> *the students follow Alita's order, firing after the retreating ones, giving Vyvy cover fire. While Sasha takes out another. As Simon gets close to one, it whips and grabs him with it's claws, trying to crush him*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon almost slides completely through matter as it continues to hold him...well an ice clone of him, he quickly moves to disable the crushing arm with a few well places spear strikes.
<DeathStar> *the retreating ones, realizing it is now impossible as Ellie-Sylph blow up two more, and the students are reducing their number, turn and begin to open fire, destroying buildings. They blow up Ednas' favorite building and then Selena's hideout. Surprisingly, despite their attacks, only 12 buildings are destroyed*
<DeathStar> *Simon takes out the 4th of the rampaging ones in the school, leaving the rest outside it*
<Seraphna> * Alita tries to rally summoners next, casting Main Spirit Call Max to allow them to get their summons with ease. Ording them to use their various spirits to defend the buildings.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon takes a breath and composes himself, beginning to summon Chronos.
<DeathStar> *Chronos appears, looking around*

<Nyaomi> * Vyvy narrows her eyes, and rather then using her breath on the ones that targeted buildings out of spite edges and brings her legs forward, diving like a bird of prey to tackle and tear/rip rather than relying on spiritual power to attack.
<Xanatos> <Simon> My Lady. I would welcome any assistance you may provide. Either stopping those outside school grounds in retreat. Or repairing some of this damage.
<DeathStar> <Chronos> My rewind powers would likely just rewind the entire battle

<DeathStar> *they fly off them due to the attack and 9 blow up with the 10th spinning team rocket style*
<Seraphna> * Alita sees to healing injured students, recruiting others to triage, and having others work at retrieving captured ones.
<Nyaomi> * Then hurtles the one in her clutches at more like a projectile.
<Sara> * Ellie falls there, with Sylph at her side, decombined
