<DeathStar> 6* 2 days have passed since the attack on the Academy. Buildings are being repaired and scouts are being sent out constantly to find the missing students. With Sasha not quite in right now the team is missing in the middle of the academy yard

<Nyaomi> * Vyvy rises and follows, bumping Qui with her hip, feeding Avenir crackers, deadpanning at the bomb.

<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Who called them terrorists? They're worse.

<DeathStar> <Qui> Well, as long as nothing touches them, we might can move it away. *a construction of clearning the building begins to drop a piece toward the bomb*

<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Ah, I know who's perfect for this task. Though I didn't think... we'd ever call on him
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The students and teachers are the Academy. Contact Kumen. I believe their security personnel have experience in this sort of thing."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ... Willingly." She makes an Excalibur face.

<DeathStar> *Rain goes to send out the order, while Gwen eyes Vyvy*

<Sara> <Ellie> None of us have pacts with Volt.

<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> His domain was under the academy for heavens knows how long, and he'd feel the internal workings of these devices wherever they are.

<DeathStar> <Gwen> I know when the C'en attacked the school he died. But it's hard to say

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "If you cna summon him, do so. In the emantime, I will arrange more mundane in the meantime."

<Kaelan> Alita> *muses and tries to call on Volt, since she’s only formed a single pact while Vyvy summons the ride*

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki has packed her gear for a nice trip to Geyze, the Aquarius having just arrived a few hours ago

<Kaelan> * Cookie stretches. “Land time will be nice, eh Pep?”
<Jackieness> <Airym> *taps at her console*
<Xanatos> <Pepper> I'm just tired of smelling our recycled farts.

<Sara> <Erica> We don't recycle that. Are you mad? Everything is purified.
<DeathStar> *Yuki twitches, as if that word is a trigger for her*
<Kaelan> Cookie> I-Is the air filter dirty maybe?
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Also, Erica, someone is calling you on the comm

<Sara> * Erica lets out a soft sigh and moves over to the comm

<Xanatos> <Pepper> But...you know, you can purify it...but the thought is always there in the back of your mind.
<Kaelan> * Cookie steals an arm around Pepper and guides her after Yuki.

<Nyaomi> <Saoirse> Frankly that's nothing compared to what's being purified out of the baby.
<Nyaomi> * Saoirse shows her teeth at Pepper.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Methane and sulfide compounds are actively filtered by the ventilation system."
<Kaelan> Cookie> Surely nothing in the comms will disrupt pleasure time.
<Sara> * Erica taps the comm on. "Captain Hildegard speaking."
<Jackieness> <Airym> "It may be an emergency transmission, in which case emergency protocol would be to suspend shore time and recall all essential personnel."
<Kaelan> Cookie> Run Yuki! Airym is being logical again’
<Xanatos> *Comm* Lady Erica. This is Simon from the Academy. Do you have a moment?
<Sara> <Erica> Unit 6? Of course I do. What's going on?
<Xanatos> 6* Simon begins to do a quick re-telling of what they've been going through but specifically gets to the part of the bombs.
<Xanatos> <Simon> So you see, I was wondering if the Aquarius would be equipped to scan and locate all of the bombs. That technology is beyond us currently.
<Sara> <Erica> We can try? It's always a bit trickier when it's Geyze. *she relays the order to her crew*
<Xanatos> <Simon> I have made some advances, your technology should work on campus. 6* He assures her
<Xanatos> <Simon> Thank you for your assistance, we look forward to seeing you.
<Sara> <Erica> So... bombs. That's... great. *she says dryly off-comm*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Scanning on Geyze huh
<Sara> <Erica> It may be easier to do it from orbit, given how Geyze is.
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Wait, we get to go visit the spirit place? Yessss
<Xanatos> <Pepper> ORBIT!? Ugh.
<Kaelan> Cookie> I’m sure we can go down after.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Perhaps you can spend some of your shore leave on Geyze. Some of the venues are clothing optional."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Well they might need our help afterwards.
<Sara> <Erica> Do a scan. I'll go down with Yuki and I -guess- Pepper can come. *she eyes her, sticking out her tongue*

<DeathStar> <Qui> Alright, everyone ready to go after the Tamae while the other team handles the Academy?
<Kaelan> Alita> Sounds like a plan.
<Sara> <Ellie> Not that I like leaving my classroom at the mercy of others but... *she nods slowly*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I believe that classes are suspended for the time being, Ellie."
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy went to go see if Volt's chamber is re-occupied since the shift
<DeathStar> *It is empty, cold. and lonely.
<DeathStar> 6* A guitar sits in the corner, with dust and a peaceweed pipe
<Xanatos> <Simon> I'm ready. 6* He says, adjusting his bag
<Sara> <Ellie> Yes, boss. But it's still my classroom that could get blown up.
<Sara> * She clarifies
<Sara> <Ellie> Among everything else
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy raises an eyebrow, wondering why that last bit, then deadpans, eyeing the items. She walks over and picks up the pipe and guitar, returning to the others.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We have little choice but to trust them to make the campus safe."
<Xanatos> <Simon> We'll leave Rain or someone to assist them, correct?
<DeathStar> *Sylph goes into adult/full size*
<DeathStar> <Rain> I can do that
<Kaelan> Alita> It’ll be fine. I left a broom for Mykel if there’s a mess.
<Sara> <Ellie> I know, boss. Just expressing my feelings, not protesting the mission. *she hoists the to-be-renamed Rending Gale onto her back*
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I think he's fine." She calls, holding up the guitar.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Thank you, Rain, as always."
<Xanatos> 6* Simon nods his thanks to Rain as well. Then looks ready to go.
<Xanatos> <Simon> Can Lady Sylph teleport us?
<Sara> <Ellie> Of course!
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Yep. *she does a sexy pose*
<Sara> <Ellie> ...Sylphie, w-what are you doing?

<DeathStar> *they all teleprot and appear in the Naturalist Forest*
<DeathStar> *Qui and Gwen peer around cautiously*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...Sylph, the is more your element. Can you feel any disturbances?"
<Xanatos> 6* Simon calmly glances around.
<Kaelan> * Alita peers about and adjusts her dress.
<DeathStar> *Sylph feels out and senses*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Yes. Spirit-tech machines are 1 kilometer to the north
<Sara> * Ellie peers north. "North it is, then, huh... Those things again."
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy blinks, glancing around, then shrugs. She eyes the guitar, then poises her hand and plucks a simple staccato.
<Xanatos> <Simon> I will gladly wipe them from this world. 6* He says coldly, beginning to march north
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Wait, more of those... things?"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I want to try to maintain an element of surprise then."
<Sara> <Ellie> What's the plan, boss?
<Kaelan> * Alita twirls her flame staff and muses. Not actual flames of course, it’s just stylized that way.
<DeathStar> *Sylph floats in the tree line
<DeathStar> <Qui> *nods and fades into the trees, circling up northward. Gwen tries to do the same, but trips in tree roots. The forest isn't as thick as the Great Forest, but it is more swampy*
<Sara> * Ellie helps him up
<DeathStar> *having alligator like monsters. A giant monster that likes men. It rushes Simon and Gwen, trying to drag them off to it's cave for who knows what, and a two sirens that tries to lull them to sleep to eat them*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon moves up into the trees as well, a magical platform appearing under his feet when it would seem as if he's missed his jump, allowing a second jump to the stability of a branch.
<Kaelan> * Akita fires a snote at the monsters, careful of trees.
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy draws her Moonflower and stabs at the one going for Gwen
<Sara> * Ellie eyes the monsters not being interested in her. Satisfied, she adds a stab to the one that was after Gwen.
<DeathStar> *the monster falls over dead. Simon's begins to carry him off*
<DeathStar> *poor Simon*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *moves to take out the monster with Simon*
<DeathStar> *the sirens get closer, singing their lullabys and Qui, Vyvy and Sasha begin to grow weaker. One moment for the dice roll to see if they resist*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon tries to pull an arm free so he can form his spear.
<DeathStar> *the three fall over, sleeping*
<DeathStar> *unless they have a move to resist*
<Kaelan> * Alita uses her status effect magic to counter.
<DeathStar> *Alita does a thunderclap and wakes the three up, loudly*
<DeathStar> <Qui> Ow ow ow ow
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...my ears!"
<Sara> <Ellie> Gah! Warn a girl! *she covers her ears with her hat*
<Kaelan> Alita > Stay awake then! Get them!
<DeathStar> *while Simon fails to pry himself up, Gwen leaps up and stabs the creature, prying it open enough for simon t oget away, though the thunderclap makes him fall off*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Gaaah
<Xanatos> 6* Simon pulls himself free and forms his spear, stabbing out for it as well.
<DeathStar> *the monster falls over. The two sirens eye each other and move away*
<Sara> * Ellie draws Rending Gale as a bow, and fires arrows at the Sirens
<DeathStar> *With the luck of the dice, Ellie nails them and they float dead*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon moves to help Gwen up
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Lets hope we reach them quieter than that
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *shakes out her hair* "With that over with, we need to make up for lost time."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ... WHAT!?
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> DID YOU SAY SOMETHING SASHA!?
<Sara> * Ellie deadpans and resumes the trek north
<Nyaomi> * She winces, rubbing at her ears.
<Kaelan> * Alita gently stuffs a ration in Vyvys mouth.
<DeathStar> *Gwen rubs her elven ears as they move north*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon sighs and adjusts his coat, then lets his spear dissipate as he moves forward.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *starts forward again*
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy jerks at the ration, frowning. Seeing as they've learned of her true family, they'd know she comes from a line of people looking like Aurit and therfore being elf-like also in addition to being a 'dragon'

<DeathStar> 6* Qui leads them to circle and they soon reach the campment, looking over it. Down below is the students, being lectured by brilliant teachers and 30 tech-spirit machines. There are tents all over and guards set up. A small fortress*
<Kaelan> * Alita takes notes to see when the medicine it’s doused in takes effect.
<DeathStar> *it takes twice as long before the doused ration helps Vyvy hear*
<Sara> <Ellie> ...Are they indoctrinating our students?
<Xanatos> 6* Simon kneels and slowly peers over the encampment.
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Yep.
<Kaelan> Alita > Looks like it.
<DeathStar> *Sylph looks dizzy* Their teaching seems very serious... You should listen
<DeathStar> *her eyes spin*
<DeathStar> *she lands by them, swaying*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *looks at Sylph* "...what?"
<DeathStar> <Sylph> They make sense. *she reaches for their weapons to take them* Come with me to listen to their lessons
<Sara> * Ellie eyes her with concern. "So when the Academy is safe, we hold the wedding, right?" she asks her, as if to verify she's fine
<Kaelan> Alita > Ellie, reign in your girl.
<DeathStar> *jerks and snaps out of it, cooing*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Wedding Hee hee
<DeathStar> *she rubs on Ellie*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I need ideas, people."
<Xanatos> 6* Simon glances around to see if there any any spirit tech devices that could be sabotaged to even the fight.
<Sara> <Ellie> So they've got mind control, guys. That's not good. *she hugs Sylph*
<Kaelan> Alita> They are using sone kind of hypnosis then.
<Kaelan> * Alita pulls out the failed medicine. “This apparently clogs ears.”
<DeathStar> *the spirit tech is beyond the patrols. They could try to sneak in but it would require high reflexes*
<Sara> <Ellie> Can we snap the captives out of it somehow?
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Do weddings. Hee
<DeathStar> *she coos*
<Kaelan> Alita > A strong visual feedback might override their auditory senses. A flash bang.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Sabotage the machines. I suspect they are the source of the control."
<Sara> * Ellie smirks and pats Sylph's head
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Actually, I think there's a simpler method
<DeathStar> *You can try the dice roll and sneak in*
<DeathStar> *or the 1 - 5 6- 10 game to sneak in, or try a method of our own*
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy skims the students they took for their general age/grade level amongst the rest of the student base
<Xanatos> <Simon> Maybe another thunderclap could snap the students out of it.
<Kaelan> Alita > I have a blinding flash spell. And I can summon Undine.
<DeathStar> *it seems they took none of the unit students, all the students that were applying. Likely they have dossiers of the unit people*
<DeathStar> *so the ages vary*
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> They're the younglings
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Can we imitate the recess bell?
<DeathStar> <Qui> Hard to tell if that would break the hypnosis and it will alert them to us
<Xanatos> <Simon> Perhaps Chronos could aid, though I don't enjoy calling on her if it's something we can do on our own.
<Kaelan> Alita > If it’s magical I have something that could counter it, but I would need to get close.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Keep Chronos as a trump card."
<Xanatos> 6* Simon nods
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I can help if it comes to that, Simon
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Also some of these students are already adolescents, not all youngest."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Though I would imagine anything /I'm/ capable of doing with access to Salamander, Undine or Shade is too destructive to apply int his case.
<Xanatos> <Simon> I could try to draw some away, Make a ruckus a ways off to the east there.
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy raises an eyebrow to Sasha. "I meant younglings to the Academy, Sasha. None of them are from the training units."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Hmmm... Vyvy... you could possibly cause a better distraction than Simon could."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Huh? What do you mean?
<Xanatos> 6* Simon muses for a moment.
<Sara> <Ellie> If they were able to hypnotize my Sylphie, we can't assume the other Spirits are immune and couldn't be turned against us.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Yes, very true, Ellie.
<DeathStar> <Sylph> I watched the video and listened
<DeathStar> *she nods*
<Xanatos> <Simon> It is a shame we killed those monsters, they would surely give the Tamae a run for their money.
<Kaelan> Alita > We could shut down the speakers.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Salamander, undine, and Shade are too destructive for direct conflict... but if they could convince them that the combined armies of the alliance were in the forest heading this way..."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Y-You want me to triple-summon!?
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Next thing I know you'll want me to take my other form at the same time.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *loosk flatly* "Do what you can... if you only pull in one, then we will work with that."
<Xanatos> <Simon> It would be...very distracting.
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy hangs her head.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I'll see what i can do. I've done a double before, but it knocked me on my ass.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "If cna convince them that they are outnumbered, the guards might break formation... maybe even run."

<Nyaomi> * Vyvy fishes out a flowering fruit from her pack.

<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> You're right, Sasha. I understand. The least amount of casualties is best, even for them.
<Sara> <Ellie> As much as I believe in you, Sylphie, I worry about you, too.
<Kaelan> * Alita nods.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I've been saving this..." She sulks again, but then bites into the fruit, juices running from it and her lips as she chews.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Ellie, do you want Sylph to stick with Alita and Vyvy?"
<Sara> <Ellie> That's probably fine...

<Sara> * Ellie readies her bow and fires for the machine, pulling her arrow as tight as she can. "...I won't let you take her." she mutters.

<Kaelan> * Talia leaps out of Alita ‘s robes and takes her girl form, firing a flashbang at the leaders.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon shifts and stomps forward placing his hand out, channeling to form an ice wall between the spirits and the men.
<DeathStar> *Chronos seems to be trying to go bcak in time every few seconds , lasting a bit. Even as the spirit techs fire and hit the wall.
<Kaelan> * Alita then calls a pillar of fire down on the device, pressing the attacking while guarding Brooke.

<DeathStar> *and Talia flashbangs them, making them blind*
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy screams in the air, trying to hold the machines at bay by furiously attacking them, likely made desperate since they called more of her lovers there to help that are now the targets.

<Xanatos> 6* Simon spins around with an Iron-Strike Lv. 1 attack on themachine.

<Sara> * Ellie uses her Gust Barrier ability to create a shield around herself and stands between the machines and the spirits -- though it really only reflects 1 attack, she's upset and desperate.
<DeathStar> *simon gets a normal strike, taking out 2 of the mchines, blowing them up*
<Kaelan> * Talia whispers and fires a fireball out for the attacking machines.
<DeathStar> *40 damage. It is now sparking*
<DeathStar> *and the machines still are failing to ge to the spirits*
<Kaelan> * Alita attacks the device again with a flame bolt. “Go DOWN!”
<DeathStar> *and the leaders are just remaining blind*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *then slashes at the damping machine again, using her west wind thrust to ignore any armor that it might have*
<DeathStar> *Alita and Sasha takes out the weird machine and the spirits rise up, creeply. Sylph looks pissed*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon burns another special to call on his Hail ability, dropping ice shards down for the machines.
<Kaelan> * Talia then rushes in with her sword for the leaders trying to knock them down. “Bad people!”
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *heads for the back to intercept her students*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon also pulls back to let the spirits fight so he can focus on getting the students free with Sasha.
<DeathStar> *Simon hits them but doesn't do a crit. Talia slips and slides on mchine oil*
<Sara> * Ellie checks on Sylph, eyeing the machines and looking once again for the students now that the Tamae sadly managed such a distraction

<Kaelan> * Talia blasts at them, and Aliya brings down fire on one.
