<DeathStar> 4.19.5990 CE
<DeathStar> Departing from the Hapian Captial, the group flies in style in a spirit magik carriage operated by Gwen. The group flies out and first stops to pick up Kito and Neekito, making their way to the Demonlands to explore the wonders of romance, love, sex and sexuality, and not necessarily in that order. The group departs with them as Vyvy decides to take charge of them.
<DeathStar> Flying out for several hours, they're rudely awakened when part of the carriage is blown away. A dragon from the Naturalists attacking them. The group tries to hold on but the dragon forces them into a crash landing. After recovering, they find Gwen back in male form and in a tree. Rescuing him, patching him up and the others, Alita says she's going to explain why Gwen blacks out when Commodus comes out and explains it right then.
<DeathStar> Gwen marches ahead of the others, seemingly close to exploding. They also find the map Female Gwen was given was doctored so that she would fly them over the border to the naturalists unwittingly. He has a minor explosion and the group seems to talk him down, they carry on until they find a clearing with a mysterious flower that Sasha has a deep need for. The group attempts to distract the dragon still tracking them and Sasha rushes out to get it. Things however go south quickly when the dragon is not so easily tricked. Forced into a fight, the group kills the Dragon's rider. When it's about to flee into the wild, some last moment shots connect and enrage the beast. The group is left with the choice of facing the enraged, powerful monster or running away to live another day.
<DeathStar> 6* The mighty (smallish) green dragon roars at Vyvy, Commodus, and Ceilia, who are still near it, while Gwen has limped into the tree line and is still moving it
<Seraphna> * Alita keeps moving as well with Gwen, hoping the others have sense to run, looking back to see if anyone needs help.

<AquaKoala> *Commodus attempts to draw it's attention "Perhaps we should withdraw?"
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> It mauled Gwen!
<AquaKoala> Commodus> And now Gwen is fine
<Sara> * Liana has given up any sort of battle stance and is staying by Alita/Gwen at the moment
<DeathStar> 6* The green dragon swings it's tail at Commodus (4 HP damage)
<DeathStar> (Knock back too)
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen peers back, looking worried
<AquaKoala> *Commodus attempts to take the hit and be standing from the knock (Damage Absorb 1)
<AquaKoala> (1/3 damage to stamina)
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *waits amongst the trees, the entire goal of the distraction meant to not have to fight the dragon.
<Seraphna> * Alita peers back as well, frowning at them not already running. She tries to think of anything she can do to help.
<Sara> <Liana> We really should get out of here. I haven't quite learned to kill a dragon with my bare hands yet...
<DeathStar> 6* Commodus gets 1 Stamina back while taking 4 HP
<DeathStar> (Basically, no armor)
<AquaKoala> *Commodus attempts to roll to his feet and run for the trees
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy darts in while it's distracted with Commodus and strikes at the dragon with Dragon's Maw, inflicting an attack that's more difficult to dodge, attempting to hamstring it. [Aim to inflict damage to strength or speed]
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...what is Vyvy thinking?!"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I think she has lost it
<Sara> * Liana sighs, looking around and hoping no one else tries to join in. "What should we do?"
<Seraphna> <Alita> If she's trying to slow it down she's simply wasting her energy. I'm afraid we can't do much unless Commodus knocks her out and runs with her.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...first she didn't want to help, now she wants to try to be devoured."
<DeathStar> 6* The dragon loses 2 HP and 1 stat to speed. Now it is it's turn. It turns on Vyvy and claw swipes, 3 HP and poison status. Minus 1 HP for 5 Turns+ if it connects
<Sara> <Liana> A true hero never lets anyone get left behind. I think Alita has the right idea...
<DeathStar> <Gwen> My armor is gone, but I can try to go back out there
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy uses a counter point and applies her Karmic Fang [counterattack returning half the damage received to an attack in return.]
<DeathStar> 6* The dragon uses a counter point to reapply it's attack, since the attacker can use a counter point again
<AquaKoala> *Commodus finally turns around and reels at finding Vyvy still fighting, looking flabbergasted
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Gwen, you have already risked too much on my behalf... but... Vyvy may need to be saved from folly."
<Seraphna> lita> "Commodus, run!"
<Sara> <Liana> Someone get Vyvy!
<AquaKoala> *Commodus dashes back in, head low, attempting to grab Vyvy and run back back to the forrest with her
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy uses her Aegis Heart to nullify the three damage, making a face at the status, then prepares Ebb and Flow.
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Mistress, would you like us to go down there?
<DeathStar> 6* The dragon prepares it's turn as Vyvy is poisoned and flaps up into the air with flight for the next 20 Turns+
<DeathStar> 6* Now Vyvy's Ebb and Flow is on, so dragon again
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...hold... let Commodus attempt to drag Vyvy back to the treeline."
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy glances for her treat while she bides the turn's time.
<Seraphna> Alita> "Stay low... it's going high."
<DeathStar> 6* It fires wind slice at Vyvy, 3 HP, wind elemental damage
<AquaKoala> *Commodus grabs for Vyvy, still at a full sprint for the forest
<DeathStar> 6* If Commodus spends a speed point he can dodge the attack
<Sara> * Liana watches anxiously, staying back with the others
<AquaKoala> (Burn 1)
<DeathStar> 6* Commodus manages to grab Vyvy out of the line of fire and slam into the forest. The green drago ncircles, in the air for them
<DeathStar> 6* Trying to waste 18 more turns
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy uses Stigmata to form a shield, chirping in surprise as Commodus snatches her.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *lets out a breath as Commodus pulls Vyvy into the forest*
<Seraphna> * Alita waits, hoping Commodus can get to them. She peers around the trees, trying to determine a good way to feel deeper into them. She motions for quiet.
<DeathStar> 6* By now, Vyvy's health is getting towartd 1 due to the poison
<DeathStar> 6* Since armor means shit
<AquaKoala> *Commodus continues running, circling into the forrest to get to the group burning another speed
<DeathStar> 6* Commodus slides up
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Stay still Vyvy, someone do something
<Seraphna> * Alita would try to cure Vyvy's poison if she's close enough.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Healers!"
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy closes her eyes and takes a breath, using Warrior's Faith to restore her health though not the poison.
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia moves over to them, having found her way back after just running on instinct
<Seraphna> * Alita also finches at Sasha yelling when they're trying to hide. Using Stat Ailment Lv. 1 on Vyvy.
<Seraphna> (Cures Poison)
<AquaKoala> *Commodus eyes his ruined armour
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia casts Exceptional Might, burning stamina to restore it [+3 Health for +10 Turns]
<DeathStar> 6*& The poison is cured. The Armor no doubt will return next session, as the faunas will get new ones fixed up
<DeathStar> 6* As the dragon flies off, all health mods return to Alita
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...its lost interest now."
<Seraphna> ALita> *quietly* Let's not chance it and move quietly for a bit.

<AquaKoala> *Commodus eyes Sasha "I hope the flower was worth it"
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Stupid flower...
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy mumbles, showing a bit more of an annoyed response than she normally would.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...I hope so as well..."
<Sara> <Liana> Can we even get anywhere in time at this point? Or should we find somewhere to camp?
<Seraphna> Alita> "I'd like to make some distance before we do... is the body of that rider nearby?"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> LEts get some distance with what light we have. 6* He eyes his armor, and lifts Vyvy up on his back
<Seraphna> * Alita peers around now, having remembered they killed the rider.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "It was thrown to the side of the field."
<Seraphna> Alita> "Perhaps we should try to fish it into the trees and see if it carries any information. First the map and then this rider... I don't believe it was chance he attacked us."
<DeathStar> 6* The Kitos check the dead body of the rider and pull things off of him
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...and it is being attended to."
<Seraphna> Alita> "Such efficient girls."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> We can still make some distance, I don't want to camp near this place.
<kalonZombe> <Ceilia> Perfect.
<DeathStar> 6* They trot over with a whistle, the mask, and some bondage gear
<DeathStar> 6* Kito puts the mask on and her ears wiggle under it, as she trots
<kalonZombe> <Ceilia> ...Kinky.
<Sara> <Liana> What do you think that whistle is for? ... On second thought, we probably shouldn't touch it, right?
<DeathStar> 6* Out of place with her handmaiden outfit
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I concur

<DeathStar> 6* After traveling a few hours, they hear a strange noise - not like any animal they have heard before. The area seems light on normal animals too, outside small ones like rabbits or foxes
<DeathStar> 6* There is a small rock formation nearby
<AquaKoala> *Commodus listens to it, then eyes the formation
<DeathStar> 6* There's some movement on top of it. Gwen sets Vyvy down, who has likely started feeling better. At the same time, there are voices to the south - human voices
<DeathStar> 6* Yet they are not near the River Village yet
<AquaKoala> *Commodus signals for silence, staying low
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia stays low and near Alita
<Sara> * Liana comes up next to Commodus, looking around cautiously
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *moves low*
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen ducks - but unless they go to the rock formation, the trees do not offer too much cover
<DeathStar> 6* The large trees and brush here is less, and more spatious. Perhaps they are nearing the end of the forest.
<Seraphna> * Alita gets low, peering around.
<AquaKoala> *Commodus points to Sasha and Gwen and then points to the top of the formation questioningly
<DeathStar> <Gwen> *glances, the strange squacks and noises still coming from there occassionally. He shrugs*
<Sara> * Liana frowns a bit. The stories almost never mention rock formations without them collapsing on someone...
<DeathStar> 6* To the south, a group of men and women walk along, wearing what look to be furs and animal skins. They seem to be talking about something, leaning on spears
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *just shakes her head, not knowing what this is*
<AquaKoala> *Commodus eyes the group and then shrugs rising and holding his hands at shoulder height nonagressively "Hello?"
<DeathStar> 6* The men and women turn, peering at each other, then the group. "Who are you?" 6* A muscled man asks, stepping forward. He looks them over, Kito no longer having the mask on
<Sara> * Liana relaxes a bit, not wanting to look too guarded.
<Seraphna> * Alita smiles gently. "Travellers on our way to the River Village."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> We are ambassadors
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia smiles and nods
<DeathStar> 6* They stare at each other slowly. "Ambassadors you say? What are ambassadors?" 6* The man asks slowly, yet he doesn't appear stupid
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We are from the Academy."
<Sara> <Liana> Ambassadors are like messengers of peace! *she quietly decides not to mention how many from the stories were anything but that*
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Uhm, how should I put this, we are here to speak to the leader of the lands on a mission from our own leader?
<DeathStar> <Man> Let us guide you then. We will take you to the River Village after stopping in our clan's place. I am Shoa. 6* He says, nodding his head. He does a hand signal to his people, motioning them off and they move off. Some move up the formation while others head back further into the forest. He and 15 others move around the group
<AquaKoala> Commodus> I am Commodus
<Seraphna> * Alita's wings flap a bit as she peers around her.
<DeathStar> 6* The blonde woman with him walks on the other side of the group while Shoa walks beside Commodus. Gwen looks around at their escorts, frowning a little, especially the strong looking women, while the Fauna eye a few of them studying them
<AquaKoala> *Commodus walks along
<DeathStar> <Shoa> That sounds like a strong name. You are from the north
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Your company is most appreciated." *walks with the group*
<Seraphna> * Alita walks along with her usual ease.
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen carries Vyvy again
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia walks along with Alita
<AquaKoala> Commodus> I am, from the Legion.
<Sara> * Liana looks around a bit as she walks, but tries not to appear rude.
<DeathStar> <Shoa> Ah. The Legion
<AquaKoala> Commodus> I am under a different leader now though.
<DeathStar> <Shoa> The Academy. Many say they are the footmen of the Hapians
<AquaKoala> Commodus> We are neutral
<DeathStar> 6* He approaches a small makeshfit settlement. There are many green dragons here, as well as one giant multi colored dragon that preens and shifts, showing her dominance to the other dragons.
<Seraphna> Alita> "Part of our task is to make sure they keep in line as well."
<Sara> * Liana looks up at the comment for a moment, but still stays quiet.
<DeathStar> <Shoa> None are neutral when it comes to nature. Nature is ever at war
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Yes but someone has to try and keep it all safe.
<AquaKoala> Commodus> That is our job.
<DeathStar> <Shoa> Even the rapists of nature? 6* He asks simply
<Seraphna> Alita> "Someone has to keep them safe from themselves."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> We try to punish those that push it too far to the best of our abilities
<Sara> <Liana> A true hero doesn't let anyone or anything hurt if it doesn't have to.
<DeathStar> 6* He moves into the settlement. Many of the men stare at them, rubbing their spear shafts. Gwen sets Vyvy down again. The two faunas look around, peering around - a few of them stare at Sasha a little hard too. Shoa smiles a little at Commodus, then motions at the tent in the middle. "The guest tent. It is yours." 6* He peers at Liana
<DeathStar> <Shoa> The spirits are hurting every moment, child. Open your body and listen to their screams
<DeathStar> 6* He moves off to the others, the escort joining him. "We will have a feast later, then escort you out of the woods."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Hm.
<Seraphna> * Alita peers around, nodding a little. "Thank you."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I could ask them myself.
<Sara> * Liana looks a bit downcast at the remark, but nods too. "Thank you for your hospitality."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *stays silent*
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Indeed, thank you very much
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen steps into the tent slowly. "If I didn't know better, those people were eyeing Sasha fairly hard. And the fauna."
<kalonZombe> <Ceilia> Keep an eye on them?
<DeathStar> 6* He looks around at the makeshift 'beds' - made of hay and a simple sheet than anything
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Neekito, Kito, stay close to me, please?
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I heard many Naturalists accepted Kumen who turned their back on the evil place, but they say some hate all Kumenites
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *steps in as well* "They were. The fauna are likely unnatural to their eyes. And as for me... my bloodline is written on my face."
<Seraphna> Alita> "Hmmm... I almost understand the Fauna, but why Sasha, does she come off as Hapian too much?" *she says this low*
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen blinks at that - not knownig about the Hapian red eye thing like his female self
<DeathStar> 6* They nod, tilting their heads
<Seraphna> Alita> "Perhaps we should write 'definately not a Hapian' on your forehead?"
<Sara> <Liana> I'm not sure that's the most effective strategy... if anything it might kinda do the opposite...
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I believe Alita is aiming for levity... ... ..I hope."
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen muses. "My sis---" 6* He rubs his head, then shakes his head. "Someone I knew even used to do this, Sasha." 6* He walks over to his pack and takes a flower, working on a dye
<AquaKoala> Commodus> I believe we will be safe with them, they seem like honest people.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> In any event, they have green dragons and are located in this forest. I believe it is a high chance they are the ones who brought us down
<DeathStar> 6* He eyes Commodus - the male Gwen highly suspicious compared to the female one
<Seraphna> Alita> "You'd think they'd consider Fauna more connected with nature."
<Sara> <Liana> Well, they don't seem to have any ill intent toward us, at least at a glance...
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Then we'd already be dead, we were outnumebered 5 to one on the walk back.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Unless they wish to learn what we are here for."
<Seraphna> Alita> "The one who attacked us wore a mask, he could have been a rogue among them."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Speka not of that. Walls have ears."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> If you do something quickly, you can not learn things.
<Sara> <Liana> Unless we see... *she nods to Sasha* ...another one... I think we're fine?
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen hands Sasha after a bit two small eye sized lens

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *holds the lens to the light* "My compliments, Gwen. Most clever."
<DeathStar> 6* The Neekitos meanwhile repair armor for the group using their abilities
<Sara> <Liana> They've already seen her eyes, though, haven't they?
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Yes, but in the future it can be useful
<Seraphna> Alita> "Well we can hardly have a chance at running... we may as well accept their hospitality and see how things go."
<kalonZombe> <Ceilia> If things go bad... we can sneak off I ugess.
<DeathStar> 6* The curtain slides aside and a 13 year old girl enters, tattoos all over her body and having two cat tails and ears. She carries a plate, head bowed
<DeathStar> <Girl> I have been told I am yours to serve in any way you wish... *She murmurs, her accent thick, definitely from Kumen*
<Sara> * Liana makes a face; she looks a bit uncomfortable. Maybe also a bit concerned.
<AquaKoala> *Commodus looks at the plate
<DeathStar> 6* It is filled with grapes and fruit, as well as some meat from anmals
<Seraphna> Alita> "I see... quite nice of them to have you attend us sweetling."
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen looks away, fist clenched
<DeathStar> <Girl> *She nods, refusing to make eye contact*
<DeathStar> 6* Likely most afraid of Commodus
<Sara> * Liana looks at Gwen, still looking concerned.
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito circles her, likely curious
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...and where are you from?"
<DeathStar> <Girl> I have no past. I am simply here to serve in any way you wish so that I might be redeemed by the spirits
<Seraphna> * Alita tilts her head.
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen steps out of the tent, not caring if this is some sort of test by the people here, to get air
<DeathStar> 6* Rubbing his head
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Thanks, I think we're okay though
<DeathStar> 6* She swallows, half-raising her head in a panic. "A-Are you certain there is nothing you need?"
<kalonZombe> <Ceilia> We're fine, sweetie
<Sara> * Liana watches Gwen leave and frowns, but then turns her gaze to the others. "Is it bad if we don't need anything?" she asks, sounding confused.
<DeathStar> 6* The girl nods, losing some of her color and bows, taking the tray and going
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I am uncertain."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> You can sit in here if you want, eat if you're hungry
<Seraphna> Alita> "Yes, you may stay here."
<DeathStar> <Neekito> *Chews on some meat* She doesn't look like a fauna. Interesting
<Seraphna> Alita> "She is an Aurit."
<Sara> <Liana> *quietly* Do you think she's a slave or something?
<DeathStar> 6* The girl pauses at the doorway, looking unsure, then simply begins to clean
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *lowers her voice* "Her demeanor is certainly suggestive."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> An Aurit..? That's curious. Why do you need 'redemption' by the spirits?
<DeathStar> 6* The girl blinks and swallows hard, but recites it as if by rote now. "I raped and pillaged the land by taking that which was not mine and killed spirits. Each tatoo tells of my sin." 6* Judging by the number of them, she must be a mass murderer
<DeathStar> 6* She resumes
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia frowns
<Sara> * Liana looks unhappy too, her mouth slightly hanging open at this.
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy raises an eyebrow, reaching out with her hands and lifts the girl under the shoulders.
<Seraphna> ALita> "...How... did you accomplish that?"
<DeathStar> <Girl> Ack!
<DeathStar> <Aurit Girl> Um, I-I was with my parents and brother. They ran a tiny corporation division. T-They were caught invading these lands six years ago.
<Sara> <Liana> So you do have a past. What was -your- part in this, though?
<DeathStar> <Aurit Girl> I was there and did not stop their crimes. Many thousands of spirits died by my family's hands. And I tried to run away many times after I was caught, so my tattoos grew
<Seraphna> Alita> *frowns*
<DeathStar> 6* She wiggles, unable to do work with Vyvy holding her, tail swishing
<Sara> * Liana frowns and looks at the others. "She's an innocent..."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> We will make a note of this sort of thing.
<DeathStar> <Aurit Girl> They say if I keep working that one day they will take me to see Sprite but so far I haven't been good enough
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Not much we can do
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Quite..."
<Sara> <Liana> Isn't there anything? What if there are-- Um. Are there more people like you here?

<DeathStar> <Aurit Girl> Um.... they say there are but none here.
<Seraphna> ALita> "What happened to your family?"
<Sara> * Liana looks down to the ground. She really wants to help this girl...
<DeathStar> <Aurit Girl> They died when the Naturalists attacked them on site to defend the spirits.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...I see."
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen peers in, his face emotionless. "Shoa is announcing dinner time. Don't want to keep our gracious host waiting."
<DeathStar> <Neekito> We can sit with the girl while she does her work
<AquaKoala> *Commodus rises and moves out
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia frowns, but gets up
<Seraphna> Alita> "Alright..."
<DeathStar> 6* Kito looks ready to play with her
<Seraphna> * Alita gets up, fixing her dress.
<Sara> * Liana looks almost depressed as she stands. She looks to the girl before leaving, though. "Little one, what's your name?"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *stands as well*
<DeathStar> <Aurit Girl> Um.... ah... *She thinks* They call me Spira - meaning in servitude with the spirits
<Sara> * Liana doesn't look too satisfied with this, but gives a small nod. "Take care of yourself while we're gone, okay?" With this, she follows Commodus.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Spira, would you actually like to know Sylph's thoughts on you?
<DeathStar> 6* As they enter a larger tent, they see a round table with all sorts of warriors, male and female, and Shoa at the top of it. There is space near him for them to sit. Gwen sitws down as far away as possible
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I'm going to stay.
<DeathStar> <Spira> B-But that would be cheating to learn before I am ready
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *enters the tent with the others*
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia sits with Alita, wherever she sits
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I think if Sylph had something to say to you that's her perogative, is it not?
<AquaKoala> *Commodus sits
<Sara> * Liana sits by the commander
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *takes a seat as well*
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Or are you claiming you or any of the Naturalists here can speak on her behalf?
<Seraphna> * Alita, assuming Vyvy stayed behind and is saying this in the tent, takes a seat calmly.
<DeathStar> <Shoa> Welcome. You are the guests of honor. *freshly cooked meat is set down on plates, as well as vegetables*
<kalonZombe> <Ceilia> Thank you for your generous hospitality
<DeathStar> <Spira> I-I- of course I cannot. And they say you have to travel to the city where she is located, or interest her enough to she will appear. She is suppose to be very curious
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy nods. 1"Well, I'm curious also. I want to know what she thinks."
<Seraphna> * Alita favors the meat, as she usually does.
<DeathStar> <Spira> But it is next to impossible to get a Great Spirit to notice you outside of her temple
<AquaKoala> *Commodus eats quietly
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen eats, chewing
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia eats
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We thank you for your hospitality." *starts to eat her dinner*
<DeathStar> <Shoa> So tell me. We have been debating. You value life?

<DeathStar> <Shoa> Crops are dying out, but other Kingdoms are too busy to notice. Wars distract them. The land is drying up. The Naturalists are losing what flurish they had to the Hapians' mining and sadistic torture of the land
