<DeathStar> <Narrator> Ranked 6 out of the 7 Units that were to become operational in the opening year of the Geyze Academy, the rest of the students who failed were given the option to remain in the school as student teachers, helping the lower classmen, or rejoin the main school and take classes again, retrying.
<DeathStar> <Narrator> So far, none of them had been approached by Tamae. Perhaps due to their ranking. That would be about to change in the upcoming days, before they were to strike out with their first mission. Especially as the other Tamae learned what it would be. And their value
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen leans back, his hands behind his head, as he sits in a lecture by Lu; she goes over the political state of Geyze in general, and Kumen
<DeathStar> <Lu> How many of you know what the political state of Geyze is like? What the current standings of all the Kingdoms are?
<DeathStar> 6* The tiny 12 year old looking blue haired woman walks back and forth
<Tabetha> * Alita blinks a little, musing. "What do you mean by standings, Ms. Lu?"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I am versed in such."
<DeathStar> 6* Lu debates answering Alita, then motions at Sasha
<DeathStar> <Lu> Sasha, tell Alita
<AquaKoala> *Commodus takes notes and listens
<DeathStar> 6* She sits on a desk, petting a fox looking creature on her lap
<DeathStar> 6* The fox seems to be a mutated breed, having too many tails, shifting about behind it
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The Hapian Dynasty has recently changed its orientation with regard to the offworld factions. Previously relations with the Daemons had been strained. The Dark Lands are in a position of strength at the moment. Again, shades of the off world corporate factins are an issue."
<AquaKoala> *Commodus raises his hand slowly
<DeathStar> <Lu> Yes. 6* She nods, waiting to see if Sasha wishes to speak more, glancing at Commodus
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "... ... ...and the Legion and Amazons are going to pull are into a stupid war..."
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy remains quiet, choosing to draw Lu as she listens.
<AquaKoala> *Commodus lowers his hand slowly at that
<DeathStar> <Lu> Good, but it's more complicated than that.
<Tabetha> * Alita looks between them slowly.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia listens attentively, sitting next to Alita
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Its always more complicated than that."
<DeathStar> 6* Lu leans back, thinking of how to approach it
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Ahem. Does this concern the buildups occurring in both the Dark Lands and the Hapian Dynasty?"
<AquaKoala> Commodus> There's a relative but tentative peace that is being stressed by the spirit fossils on all of the kingdoms
<DeathStar> <Lu> If you study Geyze, you can find that most everyone has issue with someone else. Either recently or dating back a long time. The Hapians and the Daemons, the Amazons and the Legionares. Social levels, attitudes, mindsets. But then there are recent issues. The Naturalists feelings toward the Hapians lifestyles and what they are doing to respond. The Magi Order and how they might react to either the Legion and Amazon. The Hapians building up an army, as you say. As far as we know, the Dark Lands are not building up an army, but they are definitely doing something
<DeathStar> 6* She glances at Alita and Ceilia
<DeathStar> <Lu> So tell me, why now?
<DeathStar> <Lu> And on top of that, you have the Kumens, wanting our spirit fossils
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy grimaces for some reason.
<DeathStar> <Lu> Wanting our Spirits
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> They're stocking up for something. A weapon, maybe?
<DeathStar> <Lu> I can't tell you. As Commodus says...
<Tabetha> Alita> "Ideally I would think that everyone is planning for the worst with the Kumens waiting."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Again, the off-worlders."
<DeathStar> 6* She nods at him. "Everyone is together, tentatively, due to Kumen and the Spirits. The one thing that ties them together is that. Now I have heard calls to eradicate all of Kumen and end it. That is extremeist talk. That is like how the Hapians tried with the Daemons because they were different, or the Amazon or Legion ideology toward each other. Amazona wanting to take out all male Legions, and the Legions wanting to crush the Amazons."
<DeathStar> <Lu> Your goal, my students, is to find the truth. And your own answers. You are our hands, our eyes. You are the voice of Geyze. You will be going to the Kingdoms to solve problems as they arise, before they arise hopefully. You need to unite Geyze, as best you can. The Spirits are the Spirits. Do you think they care about petty conflict? Do you think they want more death?
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> No. They wanted harmony.
<DeathStar> <Lu> Now, I know your Tamae will want you to do - no, they will have different goals. But keep this one thing in your hearts. The good of Geyze might not always be the good for one group.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia nods
<Tabetha> Alita> *frowns and tilts her head a little, though a trained healer likely hasn't thought too hard on that before*
<DeathStar> <Lu> Whatever conclusions you come to, regarding your people, and the people of Kumen, will affect everyone. Remember that.
<AquaKoala> *Commodus nods
<DeathStar> 6* She hops to her feet, holding the many tailed fox
<DeathStar> 6* She strokes it as the fox watches them. "You are dismissed. Your graduation ceremony is tomorrow and then you will get your assignments. Good luck. I have no more lessons for you."
<DeathStar> 6* She smiles and opens the door for them
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia smiles, getting up and taking Alita's hand
<AquaKoala> *Commodus rises and gathers his things, bowing to Lu before exiting
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen, who has been strangely quiet, arms crossed, peers down in thought, reflecting on her words; he jerks his head and stands up
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *stands, a hand pushing back her long hair before she gathers her things*
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Thank you, ma'am.
<Tabetha> * Alita rises and smiles a little, she then curtseys to Lu. "Thank you for the lessons."

<DeathStar> 6* Gwen walks out, hands in his pockets, and shakes his head since in the end Sasha and COmmodus will make the calls
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy blinks, flustering a little, then bows to follow the others out.
<Tabetha> * Alita watches Gwen and frowns a little, moving to go as well.

<AquaKoala> Commodus> I just wanted to have a sit down and talk a few things over with everyone.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I suggest we have a group activity and get to know each other better."
<Tabetha> Alita> "Why not both?"
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Both sound doable today
<AquaKoala> *Commodus nods "I don't have any objections to it, we could go for hike."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> ... 6* He peers around a bit nervously in the temple halls, despite there not being a lot of people in them besides the other 6 Unit candidates
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Then we cna discuss our team-building exercise during the sit-down."
<AquaKoala> *Commodus heads for their barracks
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen walks along, hands in his pockets, politely allowing the women to walk in front of him
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *heads for the barracks as well*
<DeathStar> 6* He seems to give them a lot of space
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy hangs back still, peering to the side.
<Tabetha> * Alita moves along, smiling a little.
<AquaKoala> *Commodus pauses "Vyvy? Something wrong?"

<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Hiking sounds fun 6*She whispers to Alita "So long as we get our own tent together~
<DeathStar> 6* Once in the barracks, Gwen kneels, making sure he has everything he wants for it

<AquaKoala> *Commodus sits at a common table
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *also takes a seat, right across from Commodus* "And a team-building exercise has been placed on the table."

<AquaKoala> *Commodus waits for everyone to sit, looking serious
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I am fine with hiking, Captain. *He tells Sasha, then nods at Commodus* IT sounds fun

<Tabetha> * Alita gathers things, water, and snacks for people.
<Tabetha> Alita> "Should we take our equipment?"
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Probably, just in case.
<AquaKoala> Commodus> I've become aware that everyone might not be okay with me being leader.
<DeathStar> 6* The mutated fox watches them, laying on Vyvy's bunk
<AquaKoala> Commodus> So I wanted to settle it now before it can effect any of the serious missions.
<Tabetha> * Alita looks up curiously.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I am fine with it, sir
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I am definitely not leadership material, and no one would follow me anyway.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> My concern was what I spoke with you about... as a person I have no quarrels...
<AquaKoala> Commodus> We'll have a vote, an anonymous vote. Yes if you want me too continue being leader, No if you do not.
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy sits at the end.
<Tabetha> Alita> People likely think me too spacey to lead. *she smiles pleasently*
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia giggles
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I think my opinion is obvious..."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> If there is a majority, I will step down, if there is more than one vote I will take on a shared leadership with Sasha.
<AquaKoala> *Commodus hands out paper and pencils and hands them around
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia writes down her vote
<AquaKoala> *And then sets his helmet in the center of the table and turns
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen writes down yes
<Tabetha> * Alita writes a yes.
<DeathStar> 6* Hiding a bit from Sasha as he writes it
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *writes out her vote in favor of replacement*
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia writes down yes
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Just let me know when you all fonish
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I don't think anyone would take me seriously...
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy closes her eyes and tallies her vote.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *puts her vote into the helmet with a flat expression*
<AquaKoala> Commodus> I take you seriously Vyvy.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I mean as a leader, so I never pursue such roles. All the students were either afraid of me or avoided me.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I take you for a reasonable man, Severus.
<Tabetha> * Alita grabs her in another hug and squeezes. "Awww... who would avoid you?"
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Thank you, has everyone finished?
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy blinks at Alita.

<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Mainly the students that witnessed me accidental near-fatality in sparring.
<Tabetha> Alita> "You're cute though."
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Very cute.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ... More students are concerned with their livelihood than 'cute.'
<AquaKoala> Commodus> It's not like nobody has been injured in a training exercise, or even died
<Tabetha> Alita> "I'm sure you learned a lesson from the mishap."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I think so, yes.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Perhaps...
<AquaKoala> *Commodus turns back around and pushes it to Sasha to count
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *counts out the votes*
<DeathStar> (Since I have no idea what Vyvy voted, I know it was at least 3 yeses and 1 no)
<Nyaomi> (She'd have voted Sasha)
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...two to step down... three to retain..." *voice crasks a bit as she speaks*
<AquaKoala> *Commodus nods "Then Sasha and I will be joint leaders."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> At this point I am unsure why we are voting about such. Sasha is second in command and you are first. We have not been on any real missions to judge either
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Either of you could break on us and we might wish to revisit, yes?
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Of course. But for now this is what the group wanted.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Then may I suggest we change the topic to our team-building exercise? We are being asked to make lofty decisions about our mutual futures without really udnerstanding each other."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Yes... I agree.
<AquaKoala> Commodus> We'll put it aside then.
<Tabetha> Alita> "I packed us snacks."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Everyone okay with hiking then?
<Tabetha> Alita> "Sure."
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> I'd love it.
<DeathStar> <Narrator> And so, the team went down the Commodus route as main leader and Sasha as second. Their path locked in for the original Unit members. What came with it... well. Later, of course, they met the person that---well, that is getting ahead of myselfr.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Are we staying on the Academy grounds, or leaving it?
<Tabetha> Alita> "Well... we have to be back for tomorrow."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> I know a spot not too far, it's just a small trail.
<AquaKoala> Commodus> We can make it back before nightfall.
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen nods and rises.
<DeathStar> -Spinning Nymphs-
<DeathStar> 6* As they move through the thick jungle, Gwen wipes at his forehead, shifting the pack that adds some weight, carrying his armor and swords, wearing a shirt and shorts. Strange bird calls can be heard and other animals live in the forest area here
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> This is fun.
<AquaKoala> *Commodus wears his armour since it's lightweight, wearing a large pack "I love it out here, it's relaxing."
<Tabetha> * Alita moves along, wearing an outfit that exposes quite a bit of flesh while still retaining some decency, her gear in her pack, staff strapped over her back.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And does anyone have anything else to suggest to add to our team-building exercise?"
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia, as usual, is dressed just like her twin
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen stays in the back, giving the women their space, when he suddenly grunts, grabbing at his neck and goes down, falling into thick underbush. There are sounds, soft and hard to notice, of movement in the brush, that does not sound like animals
<Tabetha> Alita> "Truth or dare? Talk about our pasts?"
<Tabetha> * Alita blinks and looks around back towards Gwen. "Huh...?"
<AquaKoala> *Commodus slips off his pack and rushes to check on Gwen, sword on his belt
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ...?
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy peers around with her one eye.
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> That doens't sound like animals...
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Hold." *pulls her sword* "Ambush..."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Weapon on hand, everyone *He speaks low,
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen is no longer in the bush, drag marks. There is a dart on the ground, which looks very familiar to Commodus. But it needs to be examined
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia pulls her wand out from her magic pockets, AKA her tits
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Gwen..!
<Tabetha> * Alita moves over to Gwen and Commodus, slipping on her leathers as she does. She frowns at Gwen not being there. "Someone took Gwen?"
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy draws her ornate blade and moves to enter the brush
<AquaKoala> *Commodus picks it up "Ceilia, Alita, look at this"
<AquaKoala> *Commodus holds Vyvy back
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia moves to inspect
<DeathStar> 6* The movement seems to be getting further away. The dart seems to have a sleep toxin in it, perhaps to prevent the change.
<Tabetha> Alita> "We should follow, lest we lose them."
<DeathStar> 6* As Commodus looks, he would recognize it as Amazonion. For capturing men they fancy to get as slaves
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "If we are to pursue, we should move."
<AquaKoala> *Commodus nods "Everone stay close and stay on alert, Amazonians."
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy chases the noise, on altert.
<DeathStar> (Vyvy is being held back)
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Let go!
<DeathStar> 6* The brush sounds fade away, southeast ward
<AquaKoala> *Commodus follows the marks quietly "We need to stay together and not rush in"
<Tabetha> Alita> "...You may want to stay on the most alert. It's men they want." *she gets her staff ready as she follows*
<Tabetha> Alita> "As a group."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "He is also Legion."
<DeathStar> 6* The dragging stops after a bit, as if Gwen was lifted. There are a several footsteps, about 4 or 5, then they too vanish, perhaps into the trees
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> They're treebound
<Tabetha> Alita> "We need a means to track them."
<AquaKoala> *Commodus checks for other tracks just to be sure
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *points with her sword to the southeast* "That way."
<Tabetha> Alita> "They sure are going to be confused when and if he changes into a she though."
<DeathStar> 6* There seems to be none right now
<Tabetha> Alita> "Can anyone ask spirits?"
<DeathStar> 6* Southeast ward heads toward the border of the Academy grounds
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Sasha and Vyvy in the trees, Alita and Ceilia and I will stay on the ground and follows.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I can try... I can't let them get away with Gwen..!
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy sees if she can call to the spirits.
<DeathStar> 6* Vyvy's body jerks, as a spirit enters it. She looks around
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I'm actually well-prepared for this." *then takes a running leap into the trees, using her Body Enhancement*
<DeathStar> 6* Her eyes white, Vyvy feels herself up
<Tabetha> Alita> "Huh... are you... a spirit?"
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> ...Hello?
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> Yers
<DeathStar> 6* Sasha lands in the trees easily
<Tabetha> Alita> "We're trying to find our friend, some Amazonian women took him. Most likely."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> We are looking for our friend Gwen Yi-Sa, we belive he was taken to the southeast."
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> Sa...sa... 6* She repeats the word. "I have heard that before." 6* The spirit nods, then seems to touch the chest as it talks to something in a strange pitch, then nods, moving along on ground
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *heads toward the southeast from tree to tree*
<Tabetha> * Alita blinks and starts to follow.
<AquaKoala> *Commodus follows closely
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia follows as well
<DeathStar> 6* Sasha moves along, though it seems the Amazons are burning a lot of speed; there are broken limbs and chipped bark as they are moving fast\
<DeathStar> 6* Perhaps they figure they ahve to get off the grounds to get scot free
<DeathStar> 6* Vyvy runs on ground, and burns all 4 units of Vyvy's speed to travel fast
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *keeps up using her enhanced jumping to try to close the distance*
<Tabetha> * Alita pants and does her best to keep up, not as fast.
<AquaKoala> *Commodus tries to keep up, burning his 4 speed as well
<Tabetha> * Alita burns her 2 at least to try and keep up.
<DeathStar> 6* Sasha's double jump isn't fast, it just double jumps, so she doesn't move quickly on it's own
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia also burns her 2
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *then burns her 4 speed , but still through the trees*
<DeathStar> 6* Sasha speeds along. She catches up first, reaching the Amazons, crashing into the tree since they are lugging a huge sack. There are five of them and three stay behind to delay her as the two with Gwen continue
<DeathStar> <Amazon Warrior 1> Fellow female, do not get in our way. We are getting back what is ours
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "You are on thre ground of the Academy, neutral ground. You would have had to cross through the Hapian Dynasty's lands, my lands. This is invasion."
<DeathStar> <Amazon Warrior 2> We have a treaty with your people. We are allowed to get what is ours.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And that does not belong to you anymore." *raises her sword and points at them* "That is a member of my unit. He has passed the final exam. Your claim is now tenuous."
<DeathStar> 6* Vyvy and the others finally catch up, that are at 4
<DeathStar> <Amazon Warrior 3> We will not let you pass... 6* Vyvy runs past the tree
<AquaKoala> Commodu> Sasha drop!
<Tabetha> * Alita keeps after her.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *leaps down*
<AquaKoala> *Commodus attempts to catch Sasha
<DeathStar> 6* The three warriors leap down, right as the other two that are slower arrive
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The other two have Gwen. These are their picket line."
<DeathStar> 6* Vyvy keeps running comically onward
<AquaKoala> *Commodus contiues after Vyvy
<Tabetha> * Alita frowns and points her staff, aiming a Flashbust at the Amazonians. (Blind 5+ Turns)
<DeathStar> 6* The three Amazons target Commodus back, sneering at his Legion self
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia uses a Charisma Point to use a Pheremone move against one of them
<DeathStar> 6* One is blinded, falling forward snarling, while another jerks and looks at Ceilia all misty eyed
<DeathStar> 6* The third slashes at Commodus back for 3 HP damage (durability will soak it up first)
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Help us get our friend back~?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *then moves to circle around, trying to flank the ones who have Gwen*
<AquaKoala> *Commodus takes the hit, attempting to keep up with Vyvy
<DeathStar> 6* Vyvy stops at the border, giving control back to Vyvy. There are no signs of the Amazons there, just the walls of the Academy, high stone mason walls, and two mounds of dirt and talls trees
<DeathStar> 6* The misty Amazon tackles the third
<DeathStar> 6* While the blind one stumbles around, unable to keep up
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ... Wha--
<AquaKoala> *Commodus looks around and kicks at the mounds
<Tabetha> * Alita keeps moving after the others.
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Spirit took your body
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia follows her "Keep those two busy for us, thanks~!
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy frowns, nodding to Commodus, poking at the dirt
<DeathStar> 6* The Amazons leap out, tackling Commodus, and tries to drive a curved blade into his throat
<DeathStar> 6* The second one tries to scale the wall with the sack\
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *runs and then leaps to try to land on the one with the sack*
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy jerks and uses one of her counters to try and turn the attack away from Commodus and back on them
<Tabetha> * Alita uses Costly Aggression on the one attacking Commodus. (Stun Luck 3+ Turns)
<AquaKoala> *Commodus uses a counter to try and shift and slam the Amazon "After the other!"
<Tabetha> Alita> "Try to subdue her, we'll need her for questioning."
<DeathStar> 6* Sasha brings the second one down, crashing down with her, while the other Amazon is bashed hard, falling back
<AquaKoala> *Commodus shifts to pin her burning a point of his strength
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia casts Down With the Sickness on the one Commodus is trying to pin [Weakens attack moves by 1/2th for 5 Turns+]
<Tabetha> Alita> "We should prepare in case the others recovered."
<DeathStar> 6* The Amazon is pinned under Commodus, while the one under Sasha goes for her weapon, dazed
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy strikes at the one under Sash with the flat side of her sword
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia uses another 1 pheremoner on the one going for her weapon
<kalonZombie> 6*Or not
<DeathStar> <Amazon Under Commodus> How dare you stop us from getting back our slave. He is --- 6* She shuts up
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> He is? Go on...
<DeathStar> 6* Vyvy hits the one under Sasha, jolting her hard
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Cease aggression, now.
<Tabetha> Alita> "He's a woman. Strange you'd keep one of those as a slave."
<DeathStar> 6* The amazon refuses to speak; like the other three have retreated, knowing it is useless now
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen struggles in the bag, likely ocming to
