<DeathStar> 6* A brutal wind blows against the huge stone walls around the castle and some of it even comes into their little private rooms. Students, like Dagger Girl, put wood into the fire pits right outside their stone quarters. Female Gwen? as most of them know her by sleeps in Liana's bed still, next to Vyvy, leaving Commodus alone in his room. Kito sleeps in Sasha's bed, naked, despite having her own bed, clinging to her, and Alita has Neekito in her bed, holding her naked for comforth, having left Vyvy's bed next to Liana's.
<DeathStar> 6* Dagger Girl brings hot bowls of stew into the main area, setting it on the tables
<Tabetha> * Alita for once is still in bed, snuggled into Neekito with very little signs of wanting to move.

<DeathStar> 6* Female Gwen rouses, hating the cold and gets up slowly, wearing Liana's clothing and moves for the main area
<Sara> * Liana stirs, having slept against a wall but noticing she had covers draped over her in the night
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito hears the bells for waking time and climbs out
<DeathStar> 6* And moves for Sasha's room, getting dressed and preparing Sasha's clothing
<Tabetha> * Alita blinks, watching her kitty go and sits up. "Okay..."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *sits up, dark rings around her eyes* "... ... ..."
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia helps her up and gets her dressed "Everything will be okay sis..."
<DeathStar> 6* Kito shows no sign of moving as she holds Sasha. Neekito holds out Sasha's clothing, dressing her for once, as if sensing stuff, then brushes her hair
<Sara> * Liana stands, noticing 'Gwen' is gone and heading out to the main area after quickly making sure she's presentable
<DeathStar> 6* 'Gwen' waves, sitting in the main area with only Liana's shirt and blanket on as she eats
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *doesn't say anything as Neekito makes her presentable for the day*
<Tabetha> * Alita nods glumly and lets herself be helped.
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia eventually works Alita downstairs, rubbing her back
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Food is outside, mistress. 6* She helps Sasha stand up after the 100 brushes, then smacks her sister fauna, despite her being a fox, on the rum and makes Kito get presentable

<Tabetha> * Alita waves weakly and sits down to the stew, peering at it.

<Sara> * Liana sits, looking at her food and starting to eat
<Myaomi> 6Vyvy enters in a simple tunic and shorts, yawning.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *shuffles out of the room and toward the common area for breakfast*
<AquaKoala> *Commodus sits, rubs his stubble
<Sara> * Liana looks at 'Gwen'. "So, um... you feeling okay today?" She looks concerned.
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito comes out and lays on Vyvy's lap
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Yep! Qui is a-okay
<Tabetha> Alita> "Qui...?"
<Sara> * Liana nods, not processing the fact that most people would be confused by this
<DeathStar> 6* Kito comes out bundled again and sits down, trying to pick up the stew bowl with big gloved hands and failing miseribly
<AquaKoala> *Commodus raises an eyebrow, eatting his stew
<DeathStar> <Qui> Yep, Qui!
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> ... Qui? You remembered something, then?
<Tabetha> Alita> "That is your name then?"
<AquaKoala> *Commodus helps Kito
<DeathStar> <Qui> Pretty sure it is
<Tabetha> * Alita starts to eat, the new thing to think about taking her mind off things for a bit.
<Sara> <Liana> Qui's name is Qui. *she says, the wording admittedly not being very helpful*
<Tabetha> Alita> "It is pretty."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *sits down at the table and stares at her food*
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito just opens her mouth to be fed. T he table has ale and tea
<DeathStar> 6* Qui pauses and feeds Sasha by holding out a spoon

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *gives a glance at Qui*
<DeathStar> <Qui> You need to eat. Open up
<Sara> * Liana giggles just a bit at this, but tries to be quiet about it.
<Tabetha> * Alita looks down at her food now.
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia tries to feed Alita
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...I can eat under my own power."
<Tabetha> * Alita pouts, but lets herself be fed.
<DeathStar> 6* Qui looks dubious but gives Sasha her spoon, then looks at everyone. "Liana told me what we were doing. So Qui will go out and find some spirits." 6* She has finished her own bowl and bounces outside - barely dressed
<Sara> * Liana blinks a few times. That was sudden.
<DeathStar> 6* The dagger girl watches her go as if they are idiots
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *starts eatting*
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia frowns "Excuse us one moment please 6*She gets up, leading Alita into another room
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...could someone retrieve Gwen.. Qui... whatever... and see that she is properly dressed?"
<Sara> * Liana nods, frowning just a bit. "I swear she was slightly more clothed when I went to bed!" She then heads after her
<Myaomi> 6Vyvy sulks at mention of spirits
<DeathStar> 6* Qui stands outside, a Quicicle.
<Sara> <Liana> Hey... Qui? *she goes to her side, concerned*
<DeathStar> 6* Qui tips over
<Sara> <Liana> Oh boy... *she picks Qui up (somehow) and brings her back inside*
<DeathStar> 6* A few moments later, with Liana's help, she is dressed in her normal armor with coats on
<DeathStar> <Qui> Silly me
<Tabetha> * Alita follows her sister.
<Sara> <Liana> There, much better! I can tell by now that you're really, -really- not used to this sort of climate...
<DeathStar> <Qui> Nope! I'm used to water, lots of water that is warm
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia talks quietly to Alita in another room
<Sara> <Liana> Hmm... Well, look at it this way: Ice is just frozen water! But because it's frozen, it's cold, so we need lots of stuff to protect us from the cold part.
<DeathStar> <Qui> Alright, so we need to learn about what is up with the spirits. 6* She peeks out at the Summoni Order, led by Kalam and the Asmos woman, heading for their building and bounds after them
<DeathStar> <Qui> That sounds complicated
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *sets down her spoon once she has gotten through the bowl* "...have everyone decided where their talents would be best placed?"
<Sara> * Liana goes after Qui to stop her. "There's a proper order to things -- we sadly can't just interrogate anyone."
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia comes back with Alita, holding her hand

<DeathStar> <Qui> I wanted to talk to them
<Tabetha> * Alita seems a little cheered, but still emo.
<Sara> <Liana> Oh, um... Well... Just be careful if you do, and absolutely, absolutely make sure you say you're from the Academy...
<DeathStar> <Qui> O-kay. 6* She heads off to talk to the Order about something, perhaps having a niggle of something from Gwen
<DeathStar> 6* The two fauna meanwhile sit by Sasha, letting Vyvy move freely
<kalonZombe> <Ceilia> Now eat.
<Sara> * Liana heads back to finish her food, although keeping Qui in mind out of distant worry
<DeathStar> <Kito> *to Sasha* Everyone is ignoring you
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> I want to talk to Assskaaaa...
<Myaomi> 6Vyvy huffs at Kito. 1"I'm not. Pesky, fox."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Now then... Commodus, you didn't care for research, so have you decided where best to apply your talents?"
<Tabetha> * Alita eats as told and peers at her food. "I suppose researching will be nice."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> I could not think of anything, since i assume I will not be welcome with Qui or Vyvy
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia eats as well, nodding
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> Ouch. I never said that...
<Sara> <Liana> I'd be glad to help with whatever, myself.

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Ceilia and Alita will be with me. We'll be returning to the library. Liana, I want you to go with Qui to observe the Summoners. Commodus, accompany Vyvy and also obsreve the Summoners. Ears open."
<Sara> <Liana> Certainly. *she nods, standing, having finished her food, and going to Qui's side*
<Sara> * She leans in at Qui. "Did you get anything to eat?"
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> You want me to ask for induction, then?
<AquaKoala> *Commodus nods to Sasha
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Nothing so formal as that. You are a summoner, observe their methods as they practice in the yards. Listen to their discussions of theory and see if you overhear anything regarding the state of the spirit world."
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia nods, moving to join Sasha
<DeathStar> <Qui>< Yep! I also got an invitation to watch the High SUmmoners do high level summons
<DeathStar> <Qui> I asked!
<Myaomi> 6Vyvy jerks, sulking at Qui
<DeathStar> <Qui> ... what? Y ou can all join too. I asked.

<Sara> <Liana> Neat! That's perfect, since that's exactly what we're supposed to do today. Oh, I think the others maybe have other stuff to do though--

<Tabetha> Alita> "You could ask too, Vyvy."

<Sara> <Liana> Well, that settles that! *claps her hands together*
<DeathStar> 6* Qui takes Vyvy's hands and Liana's, dragging them along, waiting for Commodus to follow

<DeathStar> 6* Qui drags them to the main castle area and up a few floors, trying to remember the directions

<Sara> <Liana> Do you remember where we're going, Qui? *she asks not out of doubt but more curiosity*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "After last night's misunderstanding... and keeping you waiting all that time as well."
<DeathStar> <Qui> Think so. Let's see..left....down this hall, right... here we go. 6* She does three knocks, then enters a large room where Kalam is at with the Asmos woman. And a few other older people. They peer over, Kalam and the Asmos woman apparantly watching and judging the high ranking members of the order with their abilities
<DeathStar> <Dagger Girl> *she shrugs* I'm used to it. I am just lucky to be able to do what I can with being tied to the master I am. The librarian is down below if you plan to research more. 6* She sounds dubious that they will find anything as she carries their plates out
<DeathStar> 6* Kito and Neekito head into the rooms to guard their stuff and sleep
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Of course..." *rises and then looks at the twins* "Let's head to the library then."
<Sara> * Liana follows behind Qui, looking pleasantly surprised

<DeathStar> <Kalam> We have special guests from the Academy today. 6* She motions and the members of the Order kneel and sit cross legged. Kalam motions at true seats for Commodus and the others. Qui sits down curiously
<DeathStar> 6* The library door is unlocked for once, probably since Master L is deaf as crap
<Sara> * Liana curtseys politely before sitting
<Tabetha> * Alita nods quietly and heads for the library.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *heads into the library*
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Since we have special guests, we will let them make requests on what type of summons they would like to see today.
<AquaKoala> *Commodus bows and sits
<DeathStar> 6* Master L works on his papers, not even looking up as Sasha enters. Their books still on the table from the night before
<Sara> * Liana looks at the others, especially Vyvy
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *takes a seat at the table where the book that the master librarian had helped her find lay and begins reading through it*
<Myaomi> 6Vyvy blinks and mimics their seating posture instead.
<Tabetha> * Alita takes a seat a little distance from Sasha and starts reading too.
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> Um..." 6She raises a hand tentatively. "Might I see a guardian-category summon?"
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia reads next to Alita, tail wrapped around her
<DeathStar> <Kalam> A guardian category summon. 6* She repeats
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> Is that a strange request..?
<DeathStar> <Kalam> All summons that are called forth could be considered guardians. Lesser Spirits, Main Spirits, Great Spirits. What do you consider a guardian category?
<Myaomi> 6Vyvy squirms, wanting to show rather than explain since she doesn't know how they classify. Much of the way she talks is from her personal experience.
<DeathStar> 6* The books do not seem to be giving much information that they have not already read. Perhaps if they narrowed to specific tomes or legendary tomes they could get more out
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> I think it would normally be called a familiar... um... it varies on the spirit...
<Sara> * Liana looks at Vyvy, giving a nod of reassurance.
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> Forgive my lack of instruction to better answer your request." 6She bows her head.
<Sara> * Liana nods, adding, "Please be a bit patient with us. What we've learned at the academy might have a bit of different terminology sometimes; we're still learning the differences between teachings."
<Tabetha> * Alita begins to do just that, looking for legendary tomes that relate to Aska in particular.
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia burns two luck to do the same thing
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *reads about a space war and worlds left dead as their spirits are stripped away*
<DeathStar> 6* Kalam nods. "I do not mind. Familiars are more something we consider to do with mages than us summoners, and even then they are considered legends. You are likely though referring to lesser spirits. Any summoner who has been here a year could summon those. They are all around us."
<Sara> <Liana> Personally, I feel curious about seeing a Great Spirit. *she offers tentatively*
<DeathStar> 6* The only book, read last yesterday, is a diary: stating how the person writing heard about worlds, and saw the aftermath, stripped of life due to the spaceships bombarding the worlds, aiming at spirits, or capturing them, and wiping them out, and the world seemed to die within a few decades, sometimes less
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> I suppose that is so, ha ha..." 6She mumbles nervously, muttering about her master's perverted familiars
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *then flips through the book to try to learn more about the author*
<DeathStar> 6* The index has a few tomes listed about Aska, around 200. They will likely need to narrow down what they want specificaslly
<Tabetha> Alita> "Well we definately know the consequences, but who lives long enough to see worlds die... or other worlds for that matter?"
<Tabetha> * Alita narrows it by searching for accounts dealing with Aska personally and her relationship with the royal family.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...that's what I'm looking for a clue in this text..."
<DeathStar> 6* The author's name seems to be hard to pronounce, being alien sounding. The rough translation comes out Ja'han Cry'tok, though it's likely horriblely butchred
<DeathStar> 6* Kalam nods to Liana. "And particular one?"
<DeathStar> 6* The Great Light Spirit and the Royal Family, the Mystery of the Royal Family, Aska and the Bloodline, Royal Hapian and Aska, and Rising Hapian and Aska are the only books oddly enough combining them
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *rises and looks for Cry'Tok in the index*
<Sara> <Liana> I personally find the most interest in Aska, but I similarly wonder about... *she pauses for a moment, thinking* Shade. *figuring this might offer some context if they are able to summon Shade*
<DeathStar> 6* There seems to be no other entry, like Master L said, though there is information on Crytok Empire in 5 books. It could be that the name is related to the Empire listed, or the butchuring of the name came from the Empire

<Tabetha> * Alita peers over the entry. "Crytok...?"
<Tabetha> Alita> "As in the Crytok Empire?"
<DeathStar> 6* Kalam nods and begins to focus, forming the summoning rites herself

<Sara> * Liana gives a comforting nod to Vyvy
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Possibly..." *selects some of the books and brings them back*
<Tabetha> Alita> "Check those references." *she peers over the other books and looks over the ones she has found, starting to skim and check them due to how few books correlate Aska with the Hapian royal family*
<kalonZombe> 6*Ceilia nods, looking over the books for the same thing
<DeathStar> 6* The Crytok Empire books are just made up of accounts of space travelers who came to Kumen and Geyze and whatever history can be gleamed of the Crytok Empire's rise and decline recently. It is filled with accounts of different Spirits out there and dead worlds
<DeathStar> 6* Kalam finishes her summon and Shade appears - Completely nude like the Great Light Spirit, this time you mostly see it, with her beautiful onyx skin, black hair that goes to her hips, and red eyes. Her breasts are barely covered with what looks like tattoos, showing some nipple, and her shaven sex has tatoos around there too, giving what might be a clear view.
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> A-ah!
<DeathStar> 6* Shade opens her eyes, peering around, then at Kalam. "Another lesson? How many times Kalam, have I told you not to summon me for such things." 6* She peers at Vyvy, then raises a brow. "Ah."
<Myaomi> 6Vyvy exclaims, her one eye staring in shock
<DeathStar> 6* Qui leans forward curiously.
<Sara> * Liana looks on, in awe as she often is
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Nothing concrete... alot of speculation..." *flips through an account of the founding of the Crytok Empire*
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> You do have master's memories..!
<DeathStar> 6* Alita would see most of the books talk about how powerful the Hapian Empire became when the Hapians began to gain great Light Powers some thousand years or so ago - and red eyes. Many are speculative of what it could mean. Only one of the books, Aska and the Bloodline, truly seems to be risque in it's theories and it could mean, going as far as to debate what Aska might have done
<DeathStar> <Shade> Of course. I could not operate well without them. 6* She walks along, stepping up to Commodus. "You are her leader. Or were." 6* She studies him curiously, then eyes Liana. "And the newcomer."
<Tabetha> Alita> "Maybe we can find examples of other Spirits directly giving a boon to a family line,or a person?"
<DeathStar> 6* Shade eyes Qui. "One of the many girls she has a crush on in her harem."
<DeathStar> 6* Qui blinks
<Sara> <Liana> H-Harem?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "From everything I have heard, Aska's relationship with my family was unprecedented."
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> That's not nice, master.
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> I don't have a harem." 6She crosses her arms and closes her eye.
<DeathStar> <Shade> Of course you do not. So is there a reason I was brought forth, other than lesson time?

<DeathStar> 6* It seems the Crytok Empire rose after many hundreds of years of tribulation from past fallen empires.
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> That's true... Admittedly I wanted to seek audience with Aska, but Sasha said I couldn't.
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> I was afraid to ask, also for fear of offending the Summoni here.
<DeathStar> 6* There is even a record of illness hitting many planets due to the death of spirits during a period before the Crytok Empire and the spirits refusing to aid their murderers
<Sara> * Liana gives a small nod at Vyvy.
<DeathStar> 6* Shade peers at Kalam, then at Vyvy.
<DeathStar> <Shade> I see.
<Sara> <Liana> We're trying to learn more about Aska, as well as the effects Kumen's mining might be having on our world's spirits.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Fallen empires... illnees and death following the death of spirits..." *leans back and ponders*
<Tabetha> Alita> "And spirits refusing to aid or help the people at the end."
<DeathStar> 6* The one book on Aska seems to speculate that the Hapian Family's power is great and they can do anything they want with the power of light, listing examples going back hundreds of years
<DeathStar> 6* And noting how the main family never seems to grow either, listing many accidents
<DeathStar> <Shade> I'm sure one of these people could summon Aska if you wanted to talk to her. I already talked to a few of your team about Aska and my thoughts on that one
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> Hm? You spoke to the others, master..?
<DeathStar> <Shade> Your team gets around
<Tabetha> Alita> "I don't believe in coiincidence... the family falls under mishaps that often?"
<DeathStar> 6* Kalam talks to another summoner, and she waves Liana and Qui to the window
<Sara> * Liana raises an eyebrow
<Sara> * Liana goes to the window, looking
<DeathStar> 6* Qui moves over and looks out the window curiously, then blinks at another Shade in the court yard, talking to another high level summoner who summoned her
<DeathStar> <Kalam> That one goes by Shadow
<Sara> <Liana> Shadow?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Pruning the branches..."
<DeathStar> <Shade> Did you really summon another me in the same area? That is dangerous
<DeathStar> <Kalam> To make a point that you are not aware of the other you. And yes, when there is more than one of her in an area, the second one typically goes by another name until they combine with the real Shade
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> Oh. I never knew that, master.
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> Interesting. Why is it dangerous?
<DeathStar> <Shade> *she eyes Kalam to explain, moving as if to wait the timer out* <Kalam> You have two Great Spirits of Dark in one area. That is a lot of dark energy that can be conflicting. Especially if the two summoners were hostile toward each other. Each Shade would be compelled to fight the other
<DeathStar> <Shade> Normally I would never do such. It is why these pieces are just mirrors of the true me.
<DeathStar> <Kalam> It is why we try to train all summoners
<DeathStar> 6* The other summoner makes the second version go away, and Shade begins to fade away as the time limit fades. "Becareful around Aska when you ask certain questions, even if she is a mirror image. The information will go back to her when she is de-summoned."
<DeathStar> 6* Shade fades away
<Sara> * Liana ponders that advice, nodding to herself and frowning a bit...
<DeathStar> <Qui> So she acted a lot like the real Shade? *she asks Vyvy*
<DeathStar> <Qui> Yet you could make her fight another version of herself? <Kalam> Of course. We are the summoners. If we do the trials, we can take control. It might make the Great Summon hostile though, they still have free will.
<DeathStar> <Kalam> So next time you summon, they might not act the way you wish
<DeathStar> <Kalam> It is why I said I never heard of a case of anyone truly taking over the true Great Spirit form
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> I suppose this is the difference...
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> I don't think I've ever summoned master... I've only requested her presence...
<DeathStar> <Qui> Yet your reports in the books say a few summoners have made even some rough spirits like Aska warm up to them?
<Tabetha> * Alita taps her chin and burns some luck, looking up spirits who have formed pacts or been close to mortals like Aska has.
<DeathStar> 6* She asks, somehow remembering something Gwen read
<Tabetha> Alita> "Pruning... yes... but why?"
<Sara> * Liana looks at Qui, actually recognizing this, her eyes a bit bewildered
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> Kalam... might I speak to Aska?
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> ... I would ask master the same, but we are in your care so I will respect your wishes and rules...
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "For Aska's purpose, I would imagine... whatever that might be."
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Yes. A few summoners claim to have formed bonds, outrageous claims like seducing Great Spirits and making them fall in love with them. I never believed in such claims. They are mirror images. The idea of Aska going all lovey dovey in mirror form is ridiculous. The true form would still likely ignore her
<DeathStar> <Kalam> *nods and motions at another summoner to do it*
<Myaomi> 6Vyvy muses quietly with a perturbed expression.
<Myaomi> <Vyvy> Depending on ...her, mirror as it may be. What is the likelihood you might be willing to train me in your ways?
<DeathStar> 6* After a long time researching, Sasha and the others get the feeling they have found all they can in the books

<DeathStar> 6* A bright light fills the one room, and Aska appears. being of pure light, she is completely nude when summoned onto the plane of existence, the light bathing her body so that it is hard to make out her nudity so that one would go blind trying to make out her female parts such as her nipples or lower parts. Her long blindingly white hair goes down to her mid-back and she has completely white eyes, typically forming with wings of light, up to six.

<DeathStar> <Qui> I have been reading a lot more of Windrunner books. The Spirits are the oldest beings on the world - besides the First Civilization. We are lucky the Shade Spirit is helping at all.
