On the bridge, Yuki has a datapad plugged into Cassandra, shifting through the datapad. She seems to be musing, while Gor would come across files if he is at the terminal as usual

<DeathStar> <Yuki> Well, when you mentioned data in your body about the races, it got me thinking about why you were here. You don't seem the type to be on my Strikes team, being really older generation. So there has to be a reason, and I don't think it was random.

<DeathStar> 6* Sadly, it seems the data in Cassandra needs an encyrption key that they likely don't remember anymore

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki steps back onto the bridge. She waits to see which mystery Gor wants to investigate first

<DeathStar> 6* As Gor looks, he would see the mystery is tied into Cassandra's core. If he attempts to brute force it, it will kill her and/or destroy the data. It seems like someone with expert design set it up.
<DeathStar> 6* The encyrption key seems to set up so if Cass fell into enemy hands they couldn't hack into it

<DeathStar> 6* The crew, back when they were a true crew, has been brought onboard the completed Aquarius for the first time. With the new smell and everything. The engineers are showing Erica her ship for the first time, still with a few weeks left in their training and finalizing
<DeathStar> 6* So far they have been hitting them all with tons of information and will be hitting them with tons more
<DeathStar> 6* Strangely, a maid is present, with an agent beside her. The maid seems to be the maid of the corporate owner of the 8th Corporation. She steps up to Erica as the others are being spoken too, handing her a large, thick manual
<DeathStar> <Maid> This is your manual, Captain. Do not lose it.
<Seraphna> * Marissa raises an eyebow. "...Is that... printed material?"
<Sara> * Erica takes it, looking down at it with an unreadable expression
<kalonZombe> <Denise> Lose it? You could see that thing from space.
<Seraphna> MAirssa> "Fairly sure it has it's own gravitational pattern."
<Seraphna> * Marissa is looking more at Erica's chest than the book.

<DeathStar> <Maid> By the way, as you know. *she says, pausing as she turns away* This is a Spirit-Tech hybrid, used with materials from Geyze. That means it has a Spirit-Tech Engine as well. If the main engine is ever in danger, you have the authorization to give your main engineer the manual on it. *she hands her the key to unlock the circular tube on it, where the manual is stored* Do not use the engine without due cause, Captain

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki circles the half-circular large tube in the center of the bridge, which takes up a lot of room. She eyes the keyhole, squinting
<Sara> * Erica does find them and returns with the book especially. "Maybe Gor will be able to tell us more using this. I'm not sure if I want to unlock any fishy 'data' until I know at least something about what I'm getting into..."

<Seraphna> Cookie> "What is that tube for anyway?"
<Sara> <Erica> Your guess is as good as mine.

<DeathStar> 6* Then flips, eyeing all the Captain stuff, having information on the entire ship. She looks for the chapter on the Spirit-Tech Engine

<DeathStar> <Yuki> Lets see... *she peers at Kitty, then at the chapter* "To activate the Spirit Engine, insert the key into the bridge chamber. Input the password SenZenAlpha01 to activate the engine inside. You can give the engine whatever name you want.

<Sara> * Erica makes a face, then realizes it's a 'spirit' engine
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Once the engine is moving, the engineer will have access to new control schemes. This miniture book will be for them.
<DeathStar> *Yuki pats them*
<Sara> * Erica lets out a small sigh. She wishes she had more information, but she pulls out the key, looking at Yuki as if to ask if Yuki thinks she should do this
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Warning, if the engine gets out of control, simply shut down by inputting your password and letting the computer mind reassert control
<Sara> <Erica> That's... reassuring... *she says dryly*
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki shrugs. "I don't know a lot about your world."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> But I'm beginning to wonder what was done here
<Seraphna> Cookie> "It's describing the engine like it's sentient."

<Seraphna> Cookie> "Getting out of control? Naming it?"
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *glances over at theshoulder* "Because mysterious sentient machines always work out."
<Sara> <Erica> As it happens, spirits -are- sentient. But I am a bit concerned without knowing what the actual design here was.

<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Now that's interesting... multipart key. We each have to put in a password that fits us."

<Seraphna> * Cookie looks back. "Huh? I touched code and it didn't blow up?"
<DeathStar> <Yuki> At least if some of us remember we might get enough of it for Gor to figure out the encyption

<DeathStar> 6* Inside is a tube with liquid, that looks to be some sort of medical liquid, and floating inside is a nude woman, her age hard to describe. She looks youngish, but at the same time oldish. Somewhere between 14-20 if possible. Her hair color seems blue

<Seraphna> * Cookie looks over and blinks. She points. "Naked girl!" *she looks around and takes off her lab coat as something to give her if she comes out of that tank*

<Sara> * Erica takes a step back, taken aback

<DeathStar> 6* The girl remains floating, though her eyes snap open. She eyes them all
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Hold on..." *enters 'DarlingAnmi'*

<DeathStar> 6* It clicks again, but remains locked with Cass and Yuki

<Sara> * Erica looks shocked, but holds up her hand, waving to the girl, tentatively

<DeathStar> 6* The ship stops in space, as the spirit engine is taken over

<Sara> * Erica's gaze narrows and she looks around
<Seraphna> Cookie> "She seems to have control of the ship?"
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki pauses as there's a pinging from the console. She moves over to look at something
<Seraphna> * Cookie moves up closer to the tube, gently feeling out with her powers. "Are you alright Miss?"
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Distress signal coming from near a gas giant. An Erusian ship I think is damaged and being pulled in
<Seraphna> * Cookie blinks a little. "We should help them."
<kalonZombe> 6*Gor thinks "I wonder if MAC is still active..."
<DeathStar> 6* The person in the tube does not respond, especially since they cannot look at Cookie. They merely switch over operations for Little to use the Spirit Engines, and begin to turn them over
<Seraphna> * Cookie moves the stars out of the way.
<DeathStar> <Woman> Powering back up to jump.
<Seraphna> Cookie> "J-Jump? But those people need help...?"
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *glances back over* "You really had to unlock it, didn't you?"
<Sara> <Erica> Jump -where-?
<DeathStar> <Woman> Resuming interrupted course

<DeathStar> <Yuki> I don't think she knows/cares.

<Sara> <Erica> Before that, we should investigate the distress signal and see if there's anything we can do...

<Sara> <Erica> They don't have to like our help, but we should still offer it. Any opposed?
<Seraphna> * Cookie seems absorbed in the floating girl. Ever curious.

<DeathStar> 6* The ship stops near the gas giant and extends a connecting corridor between the ships, attaching to the Erusian ship
<DeathStar> <Woman> Unit has connected to ship to stablize
<Sara> <Erica> Can we pull them away from the planet?
<Sara> <Erica> ...without harming them?
<kalonZombe> 6*Gor blinks, moving back to engineering since he's not at his best here
<Seraphna> * Cookie falls back and holds her head. "Owwww..."

<DeathStar> 6* The woman glows and suddenly both ships are 100 clicks away from the planet, spirit engines glowing

<DeathStar> 6* She closes her eyes, as if going to sleep now
<DeathStar> <Yuki> We are being hailed.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *turns back to the decryption* "Hmmmm..." *tries a password combining Setsuna Billy and her own breast size*
<Sara> <Erica> On screen. *she nods*
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra unlocks her password, leaving poor YUki
<DeathStar> 6* An Erusian captain appears, hair dishelved. She eyes them all, then Erica. "What is the meaning? Why would your ship save us?"
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki peers at Kitty, then at the screen
<Seraphna> Cookie> "...Why wouldn't we?"
<Sara> <Erica> All who need help, deserve help.
<Seraphna> * Cookie then looks at the girl in the glass and smiles. "Thanks for pulling them out."
<Chain> 6*Kitty regards the captain quietly
<DeathStar> <Erusian Captain> You are a human captain. *she eyes her and Kitty* You no doubt subjugate your crew. *She motions at Cookie and Yuki* I will not easily fall for such a ploy. *She notes, though she doesn't seem openly hostile*
<Sara> <Erica> I subjugate no one... if you think this is a ploy, all I can say is that I ask nothing in return. *she takes a breath, then chances asking* Is your crew okay? Your ship?
<Seraphna> Cookie> "Huh...? What ploy?"
<Chain> <Kitty> we can assure you with the state of our crew we do not subjugate anyone
<DeathStar> <Erusian Captain> There are minor injuries and some sickness from being close to the star. If you are as you say you are, let me send a delegation aboard to study you. *She waves a hand to stop a protest from a younger female*
<DeathStar> *She eyes Kitty* To judge for myself
<Chain> <Kitty> If it would put you at ease, one of us could go over while your chosen isnt taken hostage if that is what you fear
<Chain> 6*Kitty relaxes her stance
<Sara> * Erica's eyes widen, but she nods to the captain. "Very well, as you wish." She tries not to appear concerned that this is a ploy in return, although she hasn't dismissed that it may be, much as she'd hate to think so.
<Seraphna> Cookie> "I'm a doctor so... wherever I can help...?"
<Sara> * Erica nods to Cookie.
<DeathStar> <Erusian> That will not be necessary. *She smiles, showing teeth* We will come over shortly

<DeathStar> <Yuki> So what do we do about her? *she eyes the girl in the tube asleep*
<Seraphna> * Cookie rubs her head a little. "What'd she mean by pointing at me and Yuki and saying a ploy?"
<Sara> * Erica makes sure to check that communication is fully off before she speaks. "For the time being, let's close the tube again. It would raise more questions..."
<Chain> <Kitty> we should be on the defense just incase
<Sara> <Erica> I also agree that we need to be on defense.
<Chain> 6*Kitty moves to medical
<Sara> <Erica> I want to trust them, but they may be taking advantage of our kindness as well. Everyone stay alert, hope for the best but expect the worst.

<DeathStar> 6* The Erusians come aboard. There are about 20 of them, with the Captain dressed in a gown instead of armor, leaving that to her honor guard. Yuki stands behind the Captain to greet them as they enter the ship via the corridor

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki pauses, that name familiar to her. She tries to recall Shretrav, recalling her as a Tsivrixsh that died, or went missing
<Seraphna> * Cookie rubs her head a little. "It sounds familiar?"

<Sara> * Erica bows in turn, trying to show respect for royalty. "I am Captain Erica Hildegard of the ship Aquarius."

<DeathStar> 6* Kre'trav nods, moving along gracefully, her blue skin dark, with long luxious black hair. She peers around at the crew, surprised at the mixture of races, not knowing about fauna

<Seraphna> * Cookie walks along with her. Hair still showing blue streaks with ease, the white having faded a little without renewing her dye, showing that the blue itself is natural.
<Sara> * Erica walks along with the others. "It's just the lot of us..." she admits, reluctantly.
