<Seraphna> * Luci comes to Asarar with a file outlining a possible job. A valueable piece of tech is being kept in a Middle Class home which is about to be the host of a rather large and well to do party. Not a High Class affair, but still a very large gathering, mostly of merchants, better educated workers and such. The well off entrepenur hosting the event has stored the item in a vault in his office.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar eyes Luci. "I don't recall us being thieves."
<Seraphna> * Luci smiles. "It's not as much a thief gig as liberation... that tech belongs to another small company and he... acquired it recently."
<Seraphna> Luci> "And by acquire I mean he paid a group to break into the building it was being built in and they killed a guard on duty in the process of taking it."
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar still frowns, still it's not a company thing. She takes the file. "Who knows how many private businesses there are out there. Who can say is in the right or wrong."

<Seraphna> Luci> "If it helps your decision, the guard was a friend." *she says somberly*
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar peers up, then looks to see what type of business it was that was broken into. "And the owner of the house, I take it he has his own medical class business?"

<Jackieness> <Kira> *steps in* "So what's the payoff?"
<Seraphna> * A small company that specializes in holodeck and VR style technology. "Yes, a rival in fact. Small time indie games."
<Seraphna> Luci> "Whatever he's keeping in the safe besides the technology. And a little bit of revenge on the side."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Games.... So directly above us
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Any ties to Ani-Mon then, either of them?
<DeathStar> 6* She tosses the file down
<Seraphna> Luci> "Yeah, I didn't wander too far from the slums growing up..." *she pauses* "What I mean to say is that it won't be far. Though no, no ties, indie means independant, small timers trying to make money off an established industry."
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar looks at Kira, like she finds it hard to believe Ani-Mon won't know anything
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Alright, if the people you know want to pay, I see no reason not to take it. I'll let you do point then, Luci
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Kira will be your point man to keep your out of trouble
<Jackieness> <Kira> "...you gave us the hook, but what is the catch?"
<Seraphna> * Luci nods, looking a little relieved, like she might have done the job on her own if Asarar turned it down. "Only catch is what I said, this is a bit personal."
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar begins to type on her terminal, probably looking more into things
<kalonZombie> <Max> <You know I'm in.>
<Jackieness> <Kira> "And what I mean... party... mid levels... so what is the catch? Why us and not some rent-a-thief?"
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar looks up what all Luci's friend makes and his latest projects to see what makes it so note-worthy, since more eyes would have been on it
<Seraphna> Luci> "Because I don't trust thieves to return the tech to it's original owner. Or even get it back to me."
<Seraphna> * The information is scant, apparently the maker doesn't reveal technology until it's done but his last few projects were noteworthy enough to maybe get corporate attention. He always makes enough to get by to start a new project, always making thigns that add utility to games or enhance the experience without being outright new systems altogether.
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Fine then... so how do we play thing?
<Seraphna> Luci> "Oh we're going to attend as guests. A group of managers at some shops from a sector or two over."
<Jackieness> <Kira> "So the classic."
<Seraphna> Luci> "Yep, dress to party and then literally steal the cake."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Do you want Riki to go along to play a fauna servant or anything?
<Seraphna> * Luci muses. "If this goes off right he shouldn't notice until we're long gone... so up to her if she wants to. I feel it's safe enough."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I'll keep her here then
<Jackieness> <Kira> "So.. how big is this thing? Shape?"
<Seraphna> * Luci sighs and nods. <Alright, put on those nice clothes I got you.>
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I'll stay here and monitor things, test the new system. I don't do well with dresses and whatnot. So keep your headsets on
<Seraphna> Luci> "About the size of a classic hard deck. Not much bigger than a paper book."
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar works on getting the floor plan
<Seraphna> Luci> "Aww, you'd look good in a dress. I'll just have to enjoy Kira in one."
<DeathStar> 6* Bonnie eats crackers, still not talking since weeks ago, watching them with a Wolfe expression, palying the role of Wolfe today
<DeathStar> 6* She has his phiglets with her
<Chain> 6*Wolfe pats her head
<kalonZombie> 6*Max arrives at Luci wearing the nice clothes
<DeathStar> 6* Bonnie looks up
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Need a way to smuggle it out. Get me a dress appropriate for the event then."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I might look good, but I don't move good
<DeathStar> 6* She notes. "Do you have invitations already or do I need to get you guys on the list?"
<Seraphna> * Luci nods. "I've got a copy of the invitation and what we need for the list, but do you mind getting us on it?" *she pulls that out of the file*
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar works on bumping people off and having them assume their names, likely going to be at it a while
<Seraphna> Luci> "Gives us time to get dresses and fancied up."
<Seraphna> Luci> "Bonnie were you thinking of coming along?"
<DeathStar> 6* Bonnie eyes her 12 year old body, then eyes Luci
<DeathStar> 6* Then touches her pointy ears
<Seraphna> Luci> *tilts her head* "...Right, age, relativeness. Probably best not."
<Jackieness> <Kira> *just shakes her head as she leaves the room*
<Seraphna> * Luci takes Kira's hand and heads for her room. "I actually picked you up a dress when I went on my mission to civilize the tiger."
<kalonZombie> <Max> <Which spoon is the little spoon again?>
<Seraphna> Luci> <Not THAT fancy.>
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Seriously?"
<Seraphna> Luci> "Seriously."
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Is it low cut up top? That's the key to distraction."
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar begins to get their data-reader IDs cued to certain names
<DeathStar> 6* Then puts the data on crystals for them to memorize
<DeathStar> 6* She stands up to watch Kira change, following along
<Seraphna> Luci> "Like I would get you something I couldn't oggle."

<Seraphna> * Luci gets out a slinky red dress that's made to show off. How she knows Kira's measurements is between her, Kira, Max, and a phiglett.
<Jackieness> <Kira> "...how did you get my measurements?"
<Seraphna> Luci> "I'm three times your age, I can figure out what a girl's sizes are easily enough." *she smirks and pulls out a pink and white affair for herself that doesn't leave much to the imagination either*
<Jackieness> <Kira> *shakes her head and goes to change*
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar eyes Luci from behind, catching the last bit
<DeathStar> 6* Then follows Kira
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Should I beat her up?
<Seraphna> Luci> <She did throw her bra at me.>
<Seraphna> * Luci gets changed, humming.
<kalonZombie> <Max> <This is true.>
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar leans on the wall, petting the data crystal down for Kira to get when she is done.
<Jackieness> <Kira> "...no. I'll just let her and Max do their thing." *sits and works on her hair and makeup*
<Seraphna> Luci> <Bad timing on this I guess, what with Chelsea probably napping off a repair binge, Otto doing his thing and Wolfe umm... doing whatever he does?>
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Do you want me to come along? 6* She asks. It seems she has an aversion, despite having been able to dress up a little in the slum areas, to doing it up higher. And loving to go clubbing
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I have the floor plans, so I can techincally come if you want.
<kalonZombie> <Max> <At least there's three of us.>
<Jackieness> <Kira> "You're clealry not confortable with the dress play. Besides, you cna keep an eye on the data feeds and make sure we aren't in for any unplessant surprises. Hmmmm... makeup and hair..."
<Seraphna> * Luci does her own make up and fixes her hair, managing to make herself look a few years older than usual with the final effects.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar nods, then admires her look. "Technically I should use it as practice for when we have to do deal with the corporations later, but I don't expect them to be throwing too many balls."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> You look nice. You'll knock them dead.
<Seraphna> * Luci then gets Max ready and waits of Kira, taking her time since they have time to get tehre before the party.
<Jackieness> <Kira> "I'm a professional." *adjusts her cleavage and then heads out to go with the others*
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar moves back to her office, the data crystal of their IDs and the floor plan with Kira
<Seraphna> * Luci nods and heads out with her, taking the usual ways to get to the middle class area.
<Seraphna> -TIME JUMP-
<Seraphna> * Evening, outside a rather large home for the Middle Class districts. A converted warehouse made to be a rich styled place, nothing on the level of the Corporates, but still impressive. The large center open area of the house cleared out for a big dance floor. Black suits at the doors checking lists.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max walks arm-in-arm with Luci, looking completely human as he usually does when in public
<DeathStar> <Asarar> *comm of course* I've patched into what cameras in the area there are. I'll keep an eye out. If you need me to do something, Luci, let me know
<DeathStar> *Behind Max* <Riki> Pretty. You two forgot this. *She holds out her snacks for them*
<Jackieness> <Kira> *sashays along, giving off trophy-wife-material vibes*
<Seraphna> * Luci taps her ear to give an affirmative, looking much like she does when singing on stage, all Diva'd out. She blinks and looks around. "Riki?"
<DeathStar> 6* Riki looks out of breath from running to catch up. "I heard you were going to a party!"
<kalonZombie> <Max> Riki, I-
<Seraphna> Luci> "Mmm... you're gonna have to pretend to be a servant, that okay?"
<DeathStar> 6* She holds out cookies. "Huh? But I was going to go back." 6* She tilts her head in her maid outfit
<DeathStar> 6* She looks around all confused
<Jackieness> <Kira> "...let her go back."
<Seraphna> * LUci pauses. "...Yes... but be careful if you're going on your own."
<Seraphna> * Luci takes the cookies and puts them in her purse.
<Jackieness> <Kira> *walks past the pair and heads for the door*
<DeathStar> 6* Riki nods and steps along, follows after what she conceives to be a kindly old man
<Seraphna> Luci> "Riki... straight home."
<DeathStar> 6* Riki tail waves as she heads out of sight
<Seraphna> * LUci sighs and heads to the entrance. The suits can be seen waving people in, they don't seem to bother even checking anything that looks remotely sexy and in a skirt.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max walks in with Luci, hoping her good looks get him in scot free
<Seraphna> * The suit pauses to check him, barely noticing Kira and Luci, though he does scan all three. He eyes them, then nods, waving them on while he checks out Kira.
<Jackieness> <Kira> *waits until she can be waved in*
<Seraphna> * He waves her in, and they pass into the large open area, metal stairs lead to a balcony area above and another set lead to what seems to be converted rooms on the top floor. Their goal is a room up top, his office.
<Seraphna> * The dance floor is filled with people dancing and shaking to the beat. Some fauna girls in squared off areas dancing like they might in Asarar's club.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar works on security in the building, trying to break into any cameras she can, waiting to lower actual security so she does not alert them to presence. Just wanting to watch - if she can
<kalonZombie> 6*Max looks around, hmming
<Seraphna> * The camera system doesn't seem as heavily encrypted, the actual alarms and measures though are tough.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I got eyes inside and out now. Just waiting on what you want done
<Jackieness> <Kira> *goes off to mingle*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I got myself on the list, too, in case I have to enter
<Jackieness> <Kira> *lowers her voice on to the comm* "Riki was outside. Make sure she gets back home. Send Wolfe if need be."
<Seraphna> * LUci walks around with Max, scoping the place out. "We'll need a diversion when we go upstairs, something that has them looking on the other side."
<kalonZombie> <Max> Like what?
<Seraphna> * A tall man with slicked back dark hair in a nice evening suit sidles up by Kira, dancing with her. She'd recognize him as the owner of the home. He leers as he dances.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar makes a face and tries to send someone to find RIki on the middle Quad 5
<Jackieness> <Kira> *sways her body as the host turns his attention to her*
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar grinds teeth a little as she talks, sounding a little grindy. "I'll set something to go off - a false alarm, minor so they aren't worried. Tell me when."
<DeathStar> 6* She eyes the owner
<Seraphna> * The man grins, "I am Ricardo... and who are you, lovely?"
<Seraphna> * Luci tries not to make a face at the cheesy man, turning to the snack table. "...Surely we can interrogate this."
<Jackieness> <Kira> "You can call me Aria."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> *mumbles about showing up at the party after all*
<kalonZombie> <Max> These cheese balls look like they have some vital info.
<Seraphna> Ricardo> "Ah, sweet Aria. Did you not bring a man with you?"
<Seraphna> Luci> "We should question them thoroughly."
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Where better to meet men but an ocassion such as this?"
<Seraphna> * Ricardo grins, checking out her cleavage. "A beautiful lady such as yourself should be in the VIP party... come, I know the man who owns this house. You can see the real party."
<Seraphna> Luci> <Well that's lucky... when douchebag and Kira move up, we can head up too. He must have keys to his office.>
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Oh, I would be delighted."
<kalonZombie> 6*Max nods, eating a cheese ball
<Seraphna> * Ricardo begins leading her to one of the metal staircases, dancing as he goes and waving to people.
<Jackieness> <Kira> *goes with the man*
<Seraphna> * Luci begins to head after, tugging Max like she's looking for a quiet place to be with her date.

<kalonZombie> <Max> <...We don't have time for a quickie, do we?>
<Seraphna> Luci> <Probably not.>

<Seraphna> * RIcardo leads up up past the upper floor party and to the next stairs, which lead up to a private lounge with only a few top tier guests.
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Treat a lady to a drink?"
<Seraphna> * He nods and moves for the minibar to get her something.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar steps into the party wearing a long, sultry black dress, holding a purse, her long purple hair jazzed up. She glances around with purple eyes, studying the party goers as she slides in. Which leaes the question of who is at the computer back home. She moves to the bar, getting a drink
<Seraphna> * THere's a few guests here, though most seem preoccupied with one another to really be paying attention. Max and Luci get to the second floor to find another Black Suit is watching people who go up.
<Jackieness> <Kira> *moves to take a seat, reclining to emphasize her legs*
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar strides up the stairs with her drink, like she has purpose, sipping, holding her purse all lax
<Seraphna> * He walks up and places two drinks down, staring at her legs as he sits. "So tell me about yourself, lovely."
<Seraphna> * Luci moves for the second flight but then pauses seeing Asarar.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max blinks
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Oh, what is there to tell? My dayjob is boring. I make a bang up lounge singer by night though."
<Seraphna> * He leans forward,looking down the top of her dress. "Do you now..."
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar ignores the two for now, smiling at the suit, doing a little wave with her silk gloves that go with her dress, and moving by with her drink, her black cut dress showing a lot of her bodyt
<Seraphna> * The suit only watches her body, apparently not going to stop an attractive woman moving up to Ricardo's lounge. Luci blinks and moves along to do the same.
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Oh, absolutely." *leans just ever more forward*
<kalonZombie> 6*Max moves to follow Luci
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar, memorizing where the item is, moves on until the suit can't see them, pausing a bit. She peers where Kira likely is, frowning still
<Seraphna> * Ricardo leans forward a bit more. "Would you perhaps sing for me?"
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar quietly eyes the floor plan in her head, tracing where they need to go to get to the office
<Seraphna> * It's just past the lounge on this side.
<Jackieness> <Kira> "...I could... with the proper motivation."
<Seraphna> * Big double doors, a sensor lock, if someone has the key on them they can just open the door.
<Seraphna> Ricardo> "And watch motivation is that my dear?"
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Some personal attention, of course..."
<Seraphna> * Ricardo leans in close, smiling flirtatiously. "I'll give a woman like you all the attention she could ever want."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> .... 6* She peers down at the party, staying in the shadows between the private VIP area and the suit, knowing what Kira likely plans and looking unhappy
<Seraphna> * Luci blanches a bit when she gets up the stairs, the suit eying Max and watching him go up the stairs warily.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max just nods to him, wrapping an arm around Luci's waist
<Jackieness> <Kira> *leans in close against Ricardo* "You have my undivided attention."
<Seraphna> * Luci looks across at the office, then Kira and Ricardo as Ricardo moves to try and kiss her.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar does her drink, turning toward Luci and looks for any paintings to admire
<Jackieness> <Kira> *lets him kiss her as her hands slide along, trying to spirit away the man's keys, using 'eagerness' as cover for her roving hands*
<Seraphna> * He does have quite a collection of art around here, some Alexander Dehlis and some Van Goroghus... or something like that.
<Seraphna> * Her pickpocketing skills let her, the man way too distracted to notice. Luci looks at Asarar and nods her head, signalling aneed for that distraction now.
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Mmmm... why don't you show me around?"
<Seraphna> * Ricardo nods and rises, taking her hand. "Sure, what would you like to see first?"
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Your art collection seems impressive." *makes a gesture with her hand just out of Ricardo's sight and then drops the keys into her half-full wine glass as they move away*
<Seraphna> * Ricardo leads her along and Luci slips over, picking up the wine glass, then walks with it as if it's hers.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar watches the two with purple eyes, which seem to have a slight glowing glint for am oment
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Ready? *She finishes her drink, asking Luci without ever eyeing her*
<kalonZombie> 6*Max smiles, walking along with Luci
<Seraphna> * Luci nods and heads towards the office.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar follows tapping her purse to loop cameras
<Jackieness> <Kira> "And fond of the female form as subject, I see."
<Seraphna> * Luci moves to the door and the sensor in the glass lets them open the doors with ease. The office is dark, but there appears to be something wrong, something is sitting in the office chair.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max slowly moves over to it
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar looks forward, using her purse to get into the terminal, talking to someone back at the computer
<Seraphna> * There's a man slumped in the chair, at least unconcious, Luci looks for a light.
<Seraphna> * Ricardo nods, moving towards some statues at the stairway back down to the party. "These are rare finds."
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar shines a light from her purse
<kalonZombie> 6*Max makes a face "Someone was here before us?
<DeathStar> <Asarar> If so, we might need to call a stop here
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Modeling for art. I suppose I could do that... just hold still and take off your clothes, right?"
<Seraphna> * Ricardo is slumped in the chair, head bleeding.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar whispers on the comm to Kira. "You are with a fake."
<Seraphna> * Luci turns on the light, the safe is open, and everything still seems to be in there.
<Seraphna> Ricardo> "That would be lovely darling."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> That might not be the real thing anymore
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar tells Luci
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar is glad she has the cameras looped
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Tell me... are you an artist as well as a collector?"
<Seraphna> Luci> "Yeah... still, let's grab what we can."
<kalonZombie> 6*Max nods, looking for things to grab
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Even if that might be used against you?"
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar eyes Luci dubiously
<Seraphna> Luci> "Err... well I don't want you guys to have wasted your time..."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Why have the safe open, with it in, with the real Ricardo at his desk
<DeathStar> 6* She leaves the comm open for Kira to hear
<Seraphna> * There's a small box which should hold the tech, credit sticks, etc.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max grabs it
<Seraphna> Luci> "I-I don't know."
<Seraphna> Luci> "Check what's inside, Max."
<kalonZombie> 6*He nods and opens it
<Seraphna> * Inside is a pair of classic looking 3D glasses. And a note.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max reads the note
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Kira, get a skin sample of that Ricardo you are with
<Seraphna> It reads: "It wasn't yours, but now it's mind. - Thievius"
<kalonZombie> <Max> What a dumb name.
<Seraphna> * Luci growls and peers at the unconcious Ricardo.
<Jackieness> <Kira> "If you were an artist... I could... pose for you." *moves to take his hand*
<Seraphna> * Ricardo lets her, grinning. "Certainly."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Best case, it's a Ske'ra, if we can get the skin, we might can find out more about them despite their shape shifting ability
<DeathStar> <Asarar> If it's just make up and whatnot, then we definitely have them
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar moves t ogo
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Luci, same with the unconscious Ricardo
<DeathStar> <Asarar> In case he's faking it
<Seraphna> * Luci frowns and takes the glasses, having Max put the box back. She nods and takes a sample, and leaves something in the corner of the room before moving to go.
<kalonZombie> <Max> What was that?
<Jackieness> <Kira> *gives a crooked grin, pulling her hand back... dragging her fingernails across the palm of his hand*
<Seraphna> Luci> "Revenge. Let's go."
<kalonZombie> 6*Max nods, leaving
<Seraphna> * Luci closes the door behind them and then leaves the glass too far out of the range of the door itself. Humming as she walks down with him. Ricardo flinches a bit and eyes her. "What was that for darling? Like it rough?"
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar muses as she walks, using the cameras to check the premise for the tech to see if they are still on it
<Jackieness> <Kira> "...very."
<Seraphna> * If it's anywhere, it's on the 'fake'.
<Seraphna> Ricardo> "Shall we retire to my bedchambers then?" *he grins*
<Seraphna> * Luci begins making her way out.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max follows Luci, smiling
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar shakes her head. "Makes no sense to remain at the party after taking it....Had to hand it off." 6* She murmurs, the camera focused on Ricardo, looking for anything to indicate he has something
<DeathStar> 6* She moves for the bar and grabs a huge drink
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Never on the first date, dear. I've tested the waters and found them... pleasant."
<Seraphna> * Nothing, she's probably right. Ricardo sighs, "Cannot blame a man for trying... how about we arrange a second date?"
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar exits with her drink and waits for Kira to shrug him off, drinking
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Well, Luci, this is a bust. If you want to follow it up on your own time you can. I'll have the two skins checked out to see if they ever get a hit
<Jackieness> <Kira> "I know where you live, so maybe I'll come a-knocking."
<Seraphna> * LUci nods, looking disappointed. Taking a seat by her and looking forward instead of at her.
<Seraphna> * Ricardo sighs and nods. "Very well darling."
<kalonZombie> 6*Max rubs her back
<Jackieness> <Kira> *blows a kiss and then struts off, disappearing into the party*

<DeathStar> 6* Asarar gets them going on public transportation to an area they can go down
<Jackieness> <Kira> *lowers her voice as she speaks into the comm* "Leave in separate groups."

<Seraphna> * Once they're away, Luci sits back and grumbles. "Jerry is going to hate hearing what I have to tell him... and there was nothing to give you all either."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I'll take it out of your clothing expediture
<DeathStar> 6* She says straight faced
<Seraphna> * Luci pouts.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> IT was only a night. We'll meet up down there
<DeathStar> 6* She heads up in the public monorail
<Seraphna> * LUci nods and makes her own way with Max.
<Jackieness> <Kira> *holds out her hand* "Asarar, index and middle finger. Hope you brought a swab."
