<DeathStar> 6* Set up in the Spire, and tinkering around in it, the group so far has managed to get the Communication Orb operating and the transplacer semi-working - though it keeps frying whatever it transplaces. So far Luci needs a virgin hair to place a power orb in the wall and there is a infestation of possibily the worst kind of monsters for women in the lower level walls
<DeathStar> 6* Qui sits with the communication orb, fiddling still, silent as she works various keys.
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia is with Alita and Talia
<Kaelan> * Alita approaches Sasha.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Ah, are you free? I was about to go look for you."
<DeathStar> 6* Qui finally hits a button, establishing communication with the Hapians. <Royal Guard> Who is this speaking to us through this strange communication device? Answer immediately
<Kaelan> Alita> "We need some more Virgin Hair."
<DeathStar> 6* Qui freaks out and ducks down
* Stage is now known as Nezikim
<Sara> * Liana steps forward, patting Qui. "We're from the Academy."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "For the spire power orb?"
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia nods
<DeathStar> <Guard> How are you speaking through this ancient orb? Who are you from the Academy?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Then take a strand or two. Kito sleeps under her bed for fear of the monsters in the lower level."
<DeathStar> 6* Qui looks grateful and crawls over to the transplacer to work on it
<Sara> <Liana> I'm Liana Windrunner. With Sasha Hapian's team. We've restored an old device that seems to be for communication...
<Kaelan> * Alita nods and gently takes some from Sasha's hair.
<DeathStar> <Guard> I see. You will wait there for a reply.
<DeathStar> 6* The guard seems to move off to find someone important
<DeathStar> 6* Qui transplaces a banana and it actually vanishes
<DeathStar> <Qui> I wonder where it went
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And you should have the remaining components." *looks at Alita and then Talia*

<DeathStar> 6* Talia is in cat form, hanging off Alita
<Kaelan> Alita> "Already collected." *she brings them to Qui*
<DeathStar> 6* Qui pauses, then hands Alita the spell book since she is still tapped from last time and the bowl

<DeathStar> 6* She hands her the cloak and hood for "Effect"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *walks over to Qui and Liana* "And did I hear right? Was their progress?"

<DeathStar> 6* A seductive, powerful voice speaks on the orb. When it speaks, it has command
<DeathStar> "You say you are Sasha Hapian's team?"
<Sara> <Liana> That's right. *she nods, even though she can't be seen, out of habit*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *then moves over suddenly a clamps a hand on Liana's mouth* "I am here, my empress."
<DeathStar> <Voice> And you are Liana Windrunner. 6 Her tone is hard to peg. "You are a most intriguing woman. Hello, my niece."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *moves a finger to her lips*
<DeathStar> <Empress Hapian> I have not seen records of this orb working for a thousand or so years, yet your team gets it to work. You are truly remarkable.
<Kaelan> * Alita hums, her mana the best. Damnit.

<DeathStar> 6* The power orb surges with a boom and is created. The Empress pauses, likely hearing it.

<DeathStar> 6* Qui motions at a button that mutes
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *presses the mute button*
<DeathStar> <Qui> If I am right and they have an orb, they likely have a transplacer there too. Likely hidden
<DeathStar> <Qui> I wonder who else has a communication orb and transplacer
<Sara> <Liana> Certainly a curious thing to think about...

<Seraphna> Alita> "Mmm..." *she peers over at the others, setting the orb carefully* "I can probably make another... hmmm... Sasha, we weren't really supposed to explore the ruins and we still need to see the monks right?"
<Sara> <Liana> Do you think they enjoyed it?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...I do not know, nor am I comfortable that anyone with a transplacer could come here without our knowing. How do you... stop... the communication?"
<DeathStar> <Qui> From what I do know, the transplacer looks drained. It needs a lot of mana to use
<Seraphna> Alita> "Presently if they tried to use the displacer, we'd know. They'd also probably die."
<DeathStar> <Qui> I think it only works on our end
<DeathStar> <Qui> We have to pump the mana in our end, and then do it
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "This spire could be the... hub for these doors?"
<Seraphna> Alita> "Will the power orb work for it?"
<DeathStar> 6* Qui points at the place to touch the pad and use mana
<DeathStar> <Qui> It has a power orb already, the mage is the conductor
<Seraphna> * Alita rises up and walks over to it. "Should I... power it?"
<DeathStar> <Qui> It will likely leave you manaless for the day
<DeathStar> <Qui> You could split it with someone
<Seraphna> * Alita frowns. "That's a concern if we meet a monster, as I'm the one who can heal... yes... Ceilia?"
<DeathStar> 6* It semes to take 6 points to recharge
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia nods and holds Alita's hand "Always"
<DeathStar> 6* Kito meanwhile has grabbed the orb and moved for the wall
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "No."
<DeathStar> 6* Kito pauses and sulks
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I want to make sure the spire powers up nd secures itself before we leave any of our spellcasters without mana."
<DeathStar> 6* The Orb begins to speak. Lu's voice is heard
<Seraphna> Alita> "If we both join we should be fine. This might not actually even drain me completely on my own... and I have means to increase my mana."

<Sara> * Liana looks at Sasha
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *presses the mute button again* "We are here."
<DeathStar> 6* MEanwhile, Commodus is missing. His room full of goop. Perhaps the tentacles mistaking him for a woman. A crack in the floor indicating they have found a way onto the first floor from the lower floor
<DeathStar> <Lu> There you are. 6* Lu, one of the directors of the Academy and champions of Unit 6, their unit, speaks. "It has been so long since we are in touch, I was wondering how your mission had gone. Not that I think this is a... secure line. I just wanted to let you know that we have found replacements for Vyvy and been wondering how to get them to you for some time now."
<kalonZombee> <Ceilia> Replacements? Plural?
<Seraphna> Alita> "Well... we're not too far from the Summoners still I think... we could meet them there. Or we could meet them at the Monks."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The carriages could not make the journey into the mountains. As warned, the cold drained their energy away."
<DeathStar> <Lu> The second one is a unique case. We thought maybe he would play better with you all
<DeathStar> 6* Qui pauses, pointing at the transplacer
<Sara> * Liana moves to Qui and whispers to her, asking if she trusts it
<DeathStar> 6* Qui nods, thumbing up
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We may have a means of... fast travel to our location."
<DeathStar> <Lu> You do? *She can be heard talking to two men*
<Seraphna> Alita> "I think if we and Ceila join we can do it with ease, if Sasha helps, it'll be even easier."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We stumbled on some sort of... magic door that links to another location. We believe that it is paired with a communication orb as it is here."

<DeathStar> Location: Hapian Palace
<DeathStar> 6* The Hapian PAlace is one of the most refined locations in the world, civilization here unlike most of Geyze's medieval look. The Steam Punk technology having brought to the Hapians light without need of candles, and flying carriages, "elevators" in the form of pads that rise and fall, and all sorts. The palace itself, the size of a small city even compared to the capital it is in, can hold people for their entire lifetime without needing to leave with everything inside it (Cont)
<DeathStar> 6* Lu, a small woman who looks 12, with blueish white hair and red eyes, rises from the communication orb, turning to the two people with her, trying to keep the peace with them, knowing their backgrounds, despite the fact they should be steadfast allies, if either got wind of the other it could be misunderstood. Around them is an elite royal guard of the Hapians, with swords and technology beyond that of normal Geyze people
<DeathStar> <Lu> They stayed buried around here might be a "Doorway" that can get you two them instantly instead of wasting weeks
<DeathStar> 6* She tells Nezkim and Mykel
* Sathen_Gor is standing quietly, his arms folded across his chest as he watches Lu...though an eye seems to be constantly checking on Nez.

* Nezikim listens, nodding slightly when it seems appropriate
<Mykel> "And what does this 'doorway' look like?"
<DeathStar> 6* The royal guards begin to search through the ancient boxes and stuff and crates, where the orb was found. Standing off to the side is the Hapian Empress, an exotic beauty despite being an older woman, her entire body exuding true power, not just figuratively. She watches with her red eyes, and standing off to the side is a black haired woman in her 17th year, with red eyes, her daughter the princess Celes Hapian, who eyes the orb like she wishes she could use it alone for a moment.

<DeathStar> <Lu> Apparantly something you stand on. So I imagine it's flat.
<DeathStar> 6* Lu steps over and the Hapian Empress speaks. "I do hope you manage to reach my beloved niece. I haven't felt her in ages." 6* She says mysteriously and Celes winces slightly, though most wouldn't note it
* Mykel closes his eyes for a moment before looking at the area immediately around them...one foot raising up to tap slightly at the floor beneath him.

<DeathStar> 6* As the guards throw things aside, there is a giant wrapped up object on the ground that looks like it might be a painting due to it's size, only larger

<DeathStar> 6* The ground taps like stone, deep and thorough, though it pauses around the wrapped painting object
<DeathStar> 6* Celes sips her wine, having drained most of the glass
<Mykel> "You may not want to step or walk on that..." 6Directing his words to the guard. 1"You may actually want to take a closer look at it."
* Nezikim turns and stairs at the object Mykel has brought attention to
<DeathStar> 6* The guards peer at him like he's being an annoyance, but the Empress points at the spot he indicates and they move over, unwrapping it
<DeathStar> 6* As they do so, a metallic object appears, lacking the orbs the other one has.
<DeathStar> 6* Celes slides forward casually, as if examining it, her hand sliding out to bump against Mykel's discreetly, handing him a note. "This is what the big deal is?" 6* She speaks, knowing the orb can pick up her voice. "I see little reaosn to care about such."
<DeathStar> <Qui's voice> So, we are ready on our end. The two new people just need to stand on the transplacer and we can bring them over
<DeathStar> 6* Lu nods and points at it. "Alright you two. Once you go over, you're to follow Sasha Hapian's orders. She's the leader of the unit."
<DeathStar> <Lu> I'll use the orb to pass on any new orders once the council has them
* Nezikim approaches it, a tinge of caution visible in his step
<DeathStar> 6* Celes moves back to her place, looking disinterested
* Nezikim slowly steps up onto the dias
<DeathStar> 6* The Empress studies her daughter quietly, then looks at the new recruits. "Tell my niece I look forward to hearing from her soon." 6* She notes
* Nezikim nods to the Empress
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> Location: The Magi Spire
<DeathStar> 6* Qui leans down to hit the button, now that Ceilia and Alita have powered it up. So far most words have come over clear through the orb, including Celes since she got close enough
<DeathStar> <Qui> Ready, Commander?
<Sara> * Liana is looking at the orb, ever since Celes was talking
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Let us proceed."
<DeathStar> 6* Qui hits the button and the two begin to appear, wavering in and out of existence, then poof of smoke as the two appear fully with their armor and weapons and items. The transplacer shuts down, a magic chip breaking for now
<DeathStar> <Qui> We have received them
<DeathStar> <Lu> Everything okay? Are they alive?
<DeathStar> 6* The note has on the outside LW
<Sara> <Liana> Hi! Are you alive? *she asks the two matter-of-factly*
<Seraphna> Alita> "Darn, we'll have to fix the machine before we can use it again. I'll... examine them."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "They are alive. The teleportation device... not so much."
* Nezikim relaxes, unclenching his fists and relaxing under his armor

<Seraphna> * Alita stands, a lovely Lilen with long green hair and purple eyes walks over to the two and checks them over medically. From her robes she's a healer of some sort, which might contrast with her horns, wings, and tail somewhat.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *claps her hands* "Kito. Neekito. Prepare quarters for our newcomers."
* Mykel takes a settling breath, making sure his stomach doesn't upset itself.1 "I think I am good."
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia moves with Alita, looking exactly the same physically except her eyes are red. She wears robes that look slightly more aggressive
* Nezikim steps away from the area he just came in on, obviously not trusting such things
<DeathStar> 6* Kito moves off to do so, with the power orb
<Sara> * Liana holds out a hand to the newcomers, looking them over. "Liana Windrunner."
<DeathStar> 6* Qui waves, with long black hair, and the armor she has shows orangeish scales like a nymph and pointy ears
<Seraphna> * Alita looks Nezikim over as he moves off the platform, "Alita Whisperlight, I'm the team's healer."
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito follows
<DeathStar> 6* Lu accepts that and the orb goes quiet for now
<Nezikim> Healer... yes. *Backs up from her* I am fine
* Mykel takes a couple steps in the opposite direction for some reason and leans against anything handy, his hand holding the note discreetly while looking at it.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Kito. Power orb, please."
<kalonZombee> <Ceilia> Ceilia Whisperlight, buffer and secondary damage dealer.
<Sara> * Liana blinks and pulls her hand back, looking at it, wondering if it's something she said
<DeathStar> 6* The note seems to be to someone called Liana. If he continues to read it, it seems to be a warning
<Seraphna> * Alita shrugs at Nezikim and moves to check out--over, Mykel.
<Nezikim> ah yes. The Empress, she had a message
<DeathStar> 6* Kito whines and hands it to Sasha before moving off
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia moves with Alita, whispering
<Nezikim> her niece... that would be... *He looks the group over
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "What is this message?"
* Mykel simply was looking for an indication of whom it was too, satisfied with that he will put on a friendly face and accept the greetings that are being offered.
<DeathStar> 6* Qui stays to herself, looking shy
<Nezikim> She looks forward to hearing from you
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...of course."
* Nezikim tries to eye his new surroundings in an effort to get a bearing on the location.
<Seraphna> Alita> "Well they both seem fit." *she smiles* "I'd say that transfer was successful. All their limbs intact."

<DeathStar> 6* The spire seems to have no top half, like it was long destroyed - they are on the top floor
<Mykel> "Mykel, Iron Blade." 6Nothing else is offered at the moment, but he will shake hands with any willing, keeping mental note of who's who, and trying to transfer the note to Liana.
<DeathStar> 6* A make shift roof has been made, and on this top floor that exists still there is many magical devices, like the orb, the transplacer, and other magical devices, and what looks to be a bigger complex once. There are stairs that go down to be explored. Out the window, with a balcony up here, shows am assive ruined city
<Sara> * Liana holds her hand out to shake again, and nods to him. "Nice to meet you, Mykel."
<DeathStar> 6* A telescope and map marks out key parts
* Mykel offers a small smile, sliding the note to her during the hand shake.1 "A pleasure."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And in the meantime... we have a monster infestation, so..." *moves to the orb slot in the central spire*
* Nezikim takes in the view, remaining silent.
* Mykel whispers to Lia, 14"For you I believe."
<Seraphna> Alita> "Whatever did happen to Commodus?"
<Sara> * Liana blinks and takes it, looking at it and noting the handwriting. "Thank you..." she says a bit breathlessly as she starts reading it.
<DeathStar> 6* As Sasha goes down to the first floor at the central wall, the orb slot is in the key wall. The first floor seems to have 4 key wings from the central area. A kitchen area, a massive library, a bedroom area that has been walled off with blankets for privacy since it was a dormatory once likely for new mages who got no privacy, and finally a kitchen. And finally there are more stairs going to a lower area
* Nezikim takes note of Sasha's departure and moves quickly but stiffly to catch up
<Seraphna> * Alita shrugs and heads after them. She pulls her sister along by the hand.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Hmmm... I suspect this power orb is a catalyst to awaken a greater power of the spire." *inspects the orb slot*
<Sara> * Liana looks up from the note and pockets it, looking troubled.
* Mykel will follow behind Alita and Ceilia, his right hand sliding into his coat to check something there.
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia smiles, following Alita
<DeathStar> (*Mykel blows them all away with Kumen machine gun*)
<DeathStar> 6* As the power orb is inserted, the spire shakes and lines of magical power runs through the walls. The spire begins to repair itself it looks, as the top half begins to reconstruct and screeches below are heard from what must be monsters. Kito yelps as the spire shakes and moves. Lights come on from magic orbs in the wall getting life and Neekito puts out all the candles she had set up to light the darkened spire
<DeathStar> 6* A third floor is slowly rebuilt
<DeathStar> 6* Talia, in cat form, scatters to hide someplace
<kalonZombee> <Ceilia> Talia? What's wrong?
<Seraphna> * Alita squeaks and tries to catch her. "Talia, with me."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Breathtaking..." *turns to watch the spreading magic lines*
<DeathStar> 6* Talia leaps on Alita
<DeathStar> 6* Eyeing the changes
* Mykel will look around them as the rumbling sounds, his eyes watching Alita and those near the back
<Seraphna> * Alita pets her comfortingly. "Shhh..."
* Nezikim stands with his back against a wall so that he can observe but be out of the way
<DeathStar> 6* Qui eyes stairs being built near her on the once top floor
<DeathStar> 6* Soon the third floor is built and a fourth floor is tried but it stops as power runs out - likely another orb spot is now open somewhere
<Sara> * Liana eyes them, although she looks more troubled now than she did even recently
<DeathStar> 6* The magic lines vanish
<Seraphna> Alita> "Sure hope Commodus is okay."
<DeathStar> 6* Qui comes down from the third floor
<DeathStar> <Qui> That was surprising. Should we go to the basement level?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Yes, assemble the unit. We are going to retake the lower level."
<DeathStar> 6* Kito remains busy at that suggestion, the fox fauna going to the third floor to see if beds are available there in personal rooms
<Seraphna> Alita> "Mmm, as a Lilen, you will not mind if I take the back row. Tentacles and I do not get along... or we get along well. I can't remember which but I'd rather not."
* Mykel suspects only walls and floors, but you never know with Mages...he will turn and look back to the others, watching and noting what he can of them.
<kalonZombee> <Ceilia> I think it's we get along TOO well, sis.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *gives Alita a look* "... fine... but prepare a field hospital if need be." *looks at Mykel and Nezikim* "Now it is time to demonstrate your skills."
<DeathStar> 6* Qui carefully creeps to the stairs
* Nezikim nods and steps forward "What do you need of me?"
<Seraphna> Alita> "I didn't say I wasn't going. Just said I'm letting you go first." *she grins a bit*
<DeathStar> <Qui> If there is another person in me, be a nice time to come out
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia nods
<Seraphna> Alita> "Erm... perhaps the Kitos could make that herb concoction for Qui?"
* Mykel takes a breath before asking1 "What types of monsters are there?"
<DeathStar> 6* She pulls out her spirit tech gun
<DeathStar> <Qui> We think tentacle monsters, so only us girls should be in trouble
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "What exactly do you two do?"
<DeathStar> 6* As Qui kneels and peers down, she blinks. "The cracks in the walls have magic fields up."
* Mykel glances at Nezi before back to Sasha, a breath taken before he will answer...
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And any sign of the creatures?"
<DeathStar> 6* Qui slides downa bit to the lower level which has orbs lighting it up too. The magic table that made Talia is still there, with what relics they left
<Seraphna> Alita> "Like a barrier?"
<DeathStar> <Qui> Yes, like a barrier. And no. *She sticks her hand through the barrier* We can apss
<DeathStar> <Qui> Maybe they cannot
<Sara> * Liana follows after Qui, rather quiet
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Interesting that it is so specific a defense. Perhaps they were a problem even in the heyday of this place."
* Nezikim looks at sasha "Thing of synonyms for the words smash and cut"
<Nezikim> (*think)
<DeathStar> <Qui> Unfortunately if these tunnels lead to the other bunkers, we will need to clear them out one day
<DeathStar> <Qui> But going in there we might get ambushed
<DeathStar> 6* Qui looks at Sasha to see what she thinks
<Seraphna> Alita> "Bash, crash, slice, dice, slash..."
* Mykel finally answers after Nezi has finished; 1"I'm an Iron-Blade and Telekinetic..."
* Nezikim nods to alita "Aye, she has the right of it"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I will... take you ate your word." *looks at Qui* "I had entertained the possiiblity that the othe rbunkers were also infested."
<DeathStar> <Qui> They likely are. *She thinks* We could try to find the levers on the surface and go in from the top
<DeathStar> <Qui> They have to be ways in like the spire
<DeathStar> <Qui> Right?
<Sara> <Liana> Levers, huh. Like that rock from before?
<DeathStar> <Qui> Yes!
<DeathStar> <Qui> The map I found has many marks, they have to be the other bunkers
<Sara> <Liana> I remember seeing one when we were climbing too.
<DeathStar> <Qui> These cracks are ikely just the spire short cuts
* Mykel glances at Sasha...14"take me at my word? Like I have reason to lie..."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I refer to that one and hos smash and cut." *indicates Nezikim*
<Nezikim> You're a fool if you dont think people have reason to lie. *Steps towards Sasha* I was commanded to do as requested, guide my purpose.
<DeathStar> <Qui> *looks lost at the conversation*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "For the moment, settle into your accomodations. As to where I aim your blade... that will be determined in coming days."
<DeathStar> 6* Commodus is spit through the barrier govered in goop, rejected for being a male
<Seraphna> Alita> "I can see the new boys are going to be interesting." *she comments to Ceilia* "Just wonder if they're amiable..."
<DeathStar> <Qui> .... *She covers her eyes at the naked Commodus*
<Seraphna> Alita> "...This sadly is the most action we'll ever get from Mr. Bathes in His Armor."
<Seraphna> * Alita moves over to check on him.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "... ... ...so that is where he went."
<kalonZombee> <Ceilia> Let us treasure this moment. 6*She moves to help
<Sara> <Liana> Oh dear... is he okay?
* Nezikim nods and turns, heading back to where he thought he saw some tables that he could lay out his equipment and work on it
<Seraphna> * Alita checks him over for injuries and rape.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Alita... Ceilia... I give you.... going to regret this... I give you permission to clean him up and tend to him."

<Seraphna> Alita> "Regret this? Lilen care is the best care. And he's fine, not even any rape."
<DeathStar> 6* As Nezikim arrives, there are tables in the library, and in the dormitory area

* Nezikim unfastens section of his armor and lays them flat on a table in the dormitory area. He also sets a small bag down on the table which he opens to pull out a small pot of black paint and another bag of sand

<DeathStar> 6* Kito waves them up and as they step in, it seems to be a place one can study stars as they were during the Magi time. Likely it can be updated
* Nezikim begins to go about painting the metal of his armor in the black paint after mixing sand into the pot with a horse hair brush that was also in the bag

<DeathStar> 6* The rooms, there are dozens of them for the higher up magi, complete with real baths - the water running down into the wells in the ground, so how much exists is hard to say
<DeathStar> 6* There is another power orb slot in the wall, though it looks like it's a bit damaged and would need sensitive usage it

* Nezikim looks over from his work and sets the brush down and puts a cover over the pot
* Nezikim stands up and goes over to the naked man and pulls down one of the blankets he saw earlier to put around him before picking him up
* Nezikim look around for a place to bring him "Do you have a preference?" *He shoots a glance at Alita

* Mykel is leaning against the wall nearby, quietly watching Sasha, the kito's and Qui ponder the wall socket.

* Nezikim eyes Neekito as he strokes the sandy black brush other a section of one of his gauntlets
* Mykel nods slightly to Qui, his eyes locked on the stairwell leading down in case something decides to ascend. As for a room, he will find one in a while. 14"Having fun?"

<DeathStar> 6* She sits to look at spell books from ancient magi, trying to figure them out, rubbing her head*
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito nods her head at Nez, being a cat fauna in a hand maiden outfit
<Seraphna> * Alita then makes sure Commodus is comfy and covers him up, since they don't get rapey.

* Mykel smiles slightly before moving to look around the area, taking note of what is actually where, where specific people have chosen their rooms.

* Nezikim moves onto the other gauntlet taking slow, deliberate strokes, sometimes adding more sand directly to the metal itself
