<DeathStar> <Gwen> We never did take anything from that one familiar's bunker you guys mentioned
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Well, outside those orbs
<DeathStar> 6* And the bunker under the Spire remains intact naturally, so the familiar machine and the equipment
<Seraphna> Alita> "I'd planned to study them before then... what use is this place to a rogue Magi if it destroys everything here in the process?"
<DeathStar> 6* The city outside is in ruins, so defenses there's no a lot to work with, since a lot of buildings are half structures or some with single walls, and the city itself is large
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Maybe it was an accident in the end
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "So its a total loss then..." *leans back in her seat* "...the rogue magi likely did not think we would hold out so long much less win."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Or they know how to rebuild

<DeathStar> <Kito> Every bunker I check the equipment looks broken
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I am curious how suhc a strong spell-caster had managed to stay hidden from the world for so long."

<Seraphna> Alita> "Not sure I'd call this a win... at least we have the bunker below..."

<DeathStar> 6* Neekito check their supplies, which are still low, if adequate - the meat they get for hunting the primary thing left now, Neekito eyeing some of their sugar and stuff gone when they had little

<AquaKoala> *Commodus sighs and sits, rubbing his head
<DeathStar> <Gwen> The story you got from that familiar before she left in a huff, it makes it sound like long ago there was a lot of them. If that order of Magi exists, there could be more looking for us

<Seraphna> * Alita blinks. "...Why don't we try and attract some then? Ones that want to preserve this place?"
<DeathStar> <Neekito> There are too many tunnels to watch all the time
<DeathStar> <Neekito> We need to seal the cracks in the basement
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Neekito, have you any thoughts on that?"
<DeathStar> <Neekito> No, outside Earth magic or good steel
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Or an alternative engineering fit of trying to crudely plug up the cracks with debris from the ruins."
<Seraphna> Alita> "When we activated parts of this place, shields went up... maybe if we activate more we can get more defenses?"

<Seraphna> Alita> "Maybe other defenses will activate too..."
<Seraphna> Alita> "Ceilia and I lack Earth Magic though."
<DeathStar> 6* Somewhere in the distance, a glowing field can be seen by Commodus as he works on the defenses, near the edge of the city

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "If we activate the next power slot and raise the next level of the spire?"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> It would be a bad idea anyway, likely. They could shatter it with their own magic. It would have to be something magic would have trouble against
<Seraphna> Alita> "Raising the Spire more seems like the only real option. Activating more, we spent a lot of time not doing so."
<DeathStar> 6* Chiming comes from the second floor, as Gwen shrugs at Sasha. "Can't hurt."
<AquaKoala> *Commodus pauses and moves to get a better view
<Seraphna> Alita> "I can make more power orbs too as we need them."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Kito, get the others
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Excuse me." *rises and moves for the second floor and to the communication orb*
<DeathStar> 6* Kito moves inside
<Seraphna> * Alita muses. "The Academy has some buildings far older than the Academy itself... is it possible that we might be able to get the teleport machine and communicator to locate something there? With a few more Tamae members we could really take this place."
<DeathStar> 6* Commodus would see a dark energy field near the edge of the city
<DeathStar> 6* The orb is speaking, calling Sasha's name
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Isn't our transplacer still not working? We need to figure out the magics to get that to work like the orb slot
<AquaKoala> *Commodus reels "ALERT ALERT, ALARM"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Especially since --- 6* He squints, thinking he hears something as Kito waks over
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *moves for the orb* "I am here."

<DeathStar> <Kito> Captain Commodus wants all of you outside
<Seraphna> * Alita peers around. "Hmm?" *she grabs her staff*
<DeathStar> <Voice> I am Lieutenant Swanson of the Academy. We have taken up a spot here and the transplacer like you wished

<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia pulls her wand out from between her boobs
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I am relieved of that. We have a situation here. We have come under assault by some rogue offshoot of the magi order."

<DeathStar> <Lieutentant> A rogue offshoot?

<Seraphna> * Alita sighs and heads out to see why he's screaming.

<DeathStar> 6* The dark field remains out there, sloooowly getting bigger every few mins
<Seraphna> Alita> "That... doesn't seem very good."
<DeathStar> <Lieutenant> I will ask our Magi about them then. Do you have the situation under control? *He seems unsure what to do, there to be a guard like asked by Sasha*
<kalonZombee> <Ceilia> ...Alita that's like saying water is wet and snow is cold.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I am uncertain at this point. I have heard some commotion outside."
<Seraphna> Alita> "How about, 'That is definately Dark Magic well beyond us.'"
<kalonZombee> <Ceilia> Better.
<DeathStar> <Lieutenant> I have sent the message to Minister Lu
<DeathStar> <Kito> It looks pretty
<Seraphna> * Alita runs back in to tell Sasha.
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito goes up to report to Sasha, directing her to the balcony
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Please wait a moment while I srvey the situation." *moves out on to the balcony*
<Seraphna> * Alita continues on to look with Sasha so she has some mage-y advice.
<AquaKoala> Commodus> So that's a really bad thing right?
<kalonZombee> <Ceilia> Yes.
<kalonZombee> 6*She says, staying with Commodus
<AquaKoala> Commodus> I thought so
<DeathStar> 6* It seems to grow is size and distance every few minutes
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Pretty black on white

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Call the others into the spire and lock the doors."
<Seraphna> Alita> "We don't have Light magic to really weild against that, and it'll eventually overtake us."
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito hangs off the balcony with her tail
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Come inside and lock the doors
<DeathStar> 6* Kito looks up and blinks, then trots inside
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito then pulls herself up
<DeathStar> <Neekito> So it will get really dark? *she notes innocently*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I wonder if that is a death cloud
<DeathStar> 6* He muses, walking inside
<AquaKoala> *Commodus heads inside, dragging a wheelbarrow with him, full of stones
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia moves in, closing the door behind Commodus and everyone else
<Seraphna> Alita> "A what?"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I need the twins up here now." *moves back to the communicaiton orb* "Is anyone with you now?"
<Seraphna> * Alita, who was standing next to Sasha for some time now, blinks.
<DeathStar> <Lieutenant> Three others, and I sent the fourth off to Minister Lu
<DeathStar> <Gwen> A death cloud - I read it in one of the books. A coud of magic full of death mgaic
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen leans against the wall, thinking. Kito locks the doors
<Seraphna> * Alita frowns. "I might be able to research and figure out how to get Talia to protect me from that but I doubt it'll help everyone. We need a defense."
<DeathStar> 6* Talia looks around at everyone
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We will try to get the transplacer on our side into working condition quickly... and prepare to evacuate to your location if necessary."
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly the communication orb begins to static and a shadowy figure appears, wearing a dark robe
<Seraphna> * Alita blinks and frowns at it.
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia arrives just at that moment and blinks
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...I presume you are responsible for the display outside."
<DeathStar> "You have less than an hour until our potent magic spell reaches the spire. It will not damage anything inside, but it will kill all living things. The spire belongs to us. Leave before the time is up - and you will be spared. Stay, or try to fight, and you will die. Never return to this place. Stop searching for ancient relics. Go. This is your last warning."
<Seraphna> * Alita bites her lower lip, frowning more.
<DeathStar> 6* His face turns to the three. "Do not think your status as members of the academy or royality will keep us from hunting you down if you continue to defy us."
<DeathStar> 6* The orb cuts off.
<DeathStar> 6* The Lieutenant can be heard speaking, trying to get Sasha back
<Seraphna> Alita> "...I think they were listening in before."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Lieutenant... we have just been threatened."
<kalonZombee> <Ceilia> Probably...
<DeathStar> <Gwen> We have walked outside too
<DeathStar> <Lieutenant> Did they say who they were, Commander?
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito does rounds on the bottom
<Seraphna> * Alita frowns, trying to decide what they could probably take with them if they had to ru. "They claimed... this was their place."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Celia, get the transplacer working. The rest of you, pack what we cna carry. Move."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Lieutenant, how long will it take to assemble explosive material?"
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia nods, moving to get the transplacer working
<Seraphna> * Alita takes a breath at that, frowning as she realizes Sasha's already chosen to run.

<DeathStar> <Lieutenant> It would require the Hapians help I imagine. They are the only one with that stuff. *referring to the Steam-Punk technology and all* Otherwise, we'd need mages to make a magical explosion
<DeathStar> <Lieutenant> Our building here isn't fully staffed
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen looks down toward the library
<AquaKoala> *Commodus thinks, moving to gather everything important that he can
<Seraphna> * Alita frowns and starts to gather up nearby things they want to keep. "Talia, go retrieve my bags from our room."
<DeathStar> 6* Talia moves, bowing
<Seraphna> Alita> "I doubt we could take the other three power orbs... though we might need them all to use the transporter enough times to move us all safely."
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen eyes the size of the pad. "Once fixed it could do it one trip I think."
<DeathStar> 6* He seems resigned now, listless at the idea of leaving the place behind
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Would that magic prenetrate the ground?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The deck is stacked against us right. If necessary, I will deny these monsters their prize if we cnanot come up with a means of holding them off in the time allowed. The damage they could potentially do is worrying..."
<Seraphna> * Alita looks at Gwen. "Pack any books you think will be of worth... damnit we never found that dagger..."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I would have to imagine they would predict we would hide down there
<DeathStar> 6* He moves downstairs
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Even the tunnel through the mountain I found when we were hunting?
<DeathStar> <Kito> The tunnel network is extensive. We could try to move out of the path, but if I were them I would be in there
<Seraphna> Alita> "I agree with Kito."
<Seraphna> Alita> "I doubt they're waiting at the epicenter of their spell. They're probably waiting out of it's reach."
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Second idea, could we try hiding the transporter somewhere?
<DeathStar> <Lieutenant> Then I will ask the Hapians. The question is if they will help
<DeathStar> <Gwen> The transplacer is pretty much hooked into the wall and magic circuits, from what I've seen.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I wouldn't know how to go about dismantling it from here
<Seraphna> Alita> "It might not even work if we move it."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> And if we did, it might never work again
<Seraphna> Alita> "It's coordinates may be important."
<AquaKoala> *Commodus nods and scratches his head as he contiues to gather items
<Seraphna> Alita> "If the Queen were to benefit and get access to the relics, I bet she'd be interested."
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia is repairing it either way
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Lieutenant, see what you can do... but tread carefully. We will do what we can to diffuse things on our end. If we fail... a line will be drawn."
* Nezikim clears his throat
<DeathStar> 6* It seems magic circuits were fried inside, needing new ones that they haven't seen yet.
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen turns around slowly
<Nezikim> Is there a reason we can't just come back in a few days or weeks?
<DeathStar> <Gwen> We'd be months away
<Nezikim> Would something like this require maintenence to keep up or would it drain them
<Nezikim> I meant the facility
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The gate opens on this side."
<Seraphna> Alita> "They'd hold the place and likely have a giant advantage then. Right now we have the keep."
<Nezikim> You'll have to excuse my ignorance... This immidiate area would be lethal, yes?
<Seraphna> Alita> "Of course if the device doesn't work we can't really use it."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Once we step through ,from what I seen, the gate will always close
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Granted, it could have been from bad circuits, but do we want to take that chance that the gas won't come through too. *He muses*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Kito, if you were qa Rogue Mag... where in the tunnels would you be?"
<Seraphna> Alita> "I assume they think we'll leave on foot."
<Nezikim> Can we not just find nearby shelter, or even build a nearby shelter, and find another way to take this location back after they eventually run out of power?

<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia moves back to Sahsa "Bad news. Magic circuts are fried. We need new ones.
<DeathStar> <Kito> I haven't had time to properly map all the tunnels. There could be ones we don't know about, like the one Commodus found.
<Seraphna> Alita> "They likely know how to use power orbs, they might have a stockpile of them."
<kalonZombee> <Ceilia> But I haven't seen any at all.
<Nezikim> Establish our own rudimentary fortifications and approach this from a local angle or even find them and kill them
<Seraphna> Alita> "We don't know how far we have to travel before the death spell will end."
<DeathStar> <Neekito> *to Nezkim* Once we leave, even if it was to climb down the mountain, we would never be able to get back up
<Nezikim> why not
<DeathStar> <Neekito> They could rain down magic on us - if we try to go up Commodus' tunnel, they could make a fire wall of magic to burn us.
<DeathStar> <Neekito> IF we get past that, the spire would make defense unlike any other for a mage
<AquaKoala> Commodus> They could just make a surrounding field of death as well.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Lieutenant, we are unable to get the transplacer working again. It is quite damaged, I fear."
<DeathStar> <Lieutenant> Understood. <Gwen> Maybe there are chips on the floors we haven't remade yet. *He knows it sounds lame*
<Seraphna> Alita> "We have orbs to spare."
<kalonZombee> <Ceilia> Let's go look.
<AquaKoala> Commodus> I have an idea.
<Seraphna> Alita> "Why not use them while we have this last chance?"
<DeathStar> <Neekito> If this was one magi, I would say you are right, Nazikim. But their numbers are unknown. Mages can back up mages
<DeathStar> <Neekito> If we could only get an accurate count
<Nezikim> Do you know their current location?
<AquaKoala> Commodus> They wouldn't attack if we threaten to destory everything.
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Make it a hostage situation.
<Seraphna> Alita> "OR they might speed up the death magic and wipe us out."
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I would say not near the cloud, if they were smart - no, I imagine they are scattered in pairs in the tunnels below us, out of the gas cloud path
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Or if they have a lot, threes, or fours
<Nezikim> do you have any fire powder, explosives?
<DeathStar> <Neekito> No.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Neekito... what do you think of trying to restore the remainder of the tower with our remaining power orbs?"
<Nezikim> is there no way to just collapse these tunnels and crush them? Are your... those... orbs... volatile or can they be made volatile?
<Seraphna> Alita> "Leaving one for the transporter assuming the floors have circuits, we have 3."
<AquaKoala> *Commodus sits, thinking, having gathered everything he could think of
<DeathStar> 6* She shrugs her hands, cat ears twitching, peering at Kito. Kito closes her eyes. "We don't know much about magic, mistress. It could provide more defense, possibily it goes so high we could get higher than the cloud. But the rogue magi seem to know this tower so I doubt that. There could be a defense to it, but the rogue magi likely know the spire's defense capabilities. Unless they are counting on us being ignorant of how to build up the spire. Or not having the time to
<Seraphna> Alita> "Or the reason they gave an hour was to rush us so we didn't do anything else with the spire."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I think the transplacer has an orb already, Alita - we just need those circuits
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Then three chances to raise the spire higher and hope we can get the circuits we need to escape or the defenses active to survive." *holds out her hands*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> It's working. We're down to around 30 mins now
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito shrugs at if the power orbs could blow up
<Seraphna> * Alita nods. "I say we get to raising the spire, if we discuss this any longer we'll be the first team to die debating."
<DeathStar> 6* Outside the dark cloud has covered half the city
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Give them to me."
<Nezikim> can you lock your.... teleporter magic on them and disperse them from its controls?
<DeathStar> <Kito> The cloud will make navigating the tunnels a lot harder now
<Seraphna> * Alita passes them over.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> The transplacer doesn't work period right now
<Seraphna> Alita> "Let's hunt for circuits. If we come down to five minutes or so, we can run."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I'll see if I can find an alternative to the circuits provided we fail to find what we need.
<DeathStar> 6* He moves down for real this time
<Seraphna> * Alita peers to see if Talia's returned.
<DeathStar> 6* Talia is still gone
<Seraphna> Alita> "Talia!"
<Seraphna> * Alita moves to the rooms to check for her.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *moves to the orb receptacle and places the orb within* "If we are extremely fortunate... we cna find something to flood the tunnels with their own death magic."
<Nezikim> can we flood these tunnels they are hiding in?
<Nezikim> if we cant collapse them can we at least drown them
<Nezikim> this place has to have a water source to care for this many people, some undergrown stream or aquaduct, if you break it water travels down
<Nezikim> so if you can channel it into your tunnels, will it not drown them
<DeathStar> 6* Talia lays across the bed and all the bags of every room she was gathering is neatly put on the bed for her
<Nezikim> or at least force their attentions to their own survival
<Seraphna> Alita> "Well that's achieving a lot. Let's move them near the teleport so we can be ready to go."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> It does seem to have a deep underground water source. NEver found out where
<Seraphna> * Alita starts helping Talia move the stuff.
<DeathStar> 6* Talia remains not moving, face down
<Nezikim> does it matter where? Up here where does it come out
<Seraphna> * Alita blinks and checks on her.
<Seraphna> Alita> "Talia...?"
<DeathStar> 6* The forth floor begins to build, creating stairs and objects above them
<Nezikim> can we basically destroy it and force it back down and flood your enemies
<DeathStar> <Gwen> You can try, but not sure how good that would work.
<DeathStar> 6* He eyes the metal spire and everything
<DeathStar> 6* Talia looks unconscious, a tiny bump on her head
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia walks over and blinks "What's wrong with Talia?
<Seraphna> * Alita blinks and picks her up, looking around. "Someone knocked her out..."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *starts up to the next level of the spire once it is stable again*
<Seraphna> * Alita frowns and tries healing the injury with her lowest Mage Cure.
<DeathStar> 6* Above, the fourth floor finishes building. A hand grabs the remaining three orbs carefully
<DeathStar> 6* The fourth floor looks strange, being a huge circular room with lots of magical fountains of various colors. In the center is a device, with floating symbols, and near the wall a ladder that goes up to nothing, due to no floor
<DeathStar> 6* Talia opens her eyes and yawns
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen moves after Sasha slowly, peering
<kalonZombee> <Ceilia> Talia, did you see who did that to you?
<AquaKoala> *Commodus follows with Gwen
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Look for the next socket or more of these repair circuits.
<DeathStar> 6* As they follow, a person that looks like Talia is right behind Sasha, grabbing things off of her
<Seraphna> * Alita carries her, having the NPC'd Mykel carry everyone's stuff up to the teleporter.
<DeathStar> <Talia> *Yawn* Did what?
<Seraphna> Alita> "You were knocked unconcious."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Talia---?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *draws her sword and spins around*
<DeathStar> 6* The white haired familiar pauses, holding what she managed to grab off Sasha and steps back
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...and what is the meaning of this?"
<DeathStar> <Delgi> I am taking back what remains of my master's bunker. These orbs
<DeathStar> 6* She still sounds better of the destruction their fight caused
<DeathStar> *Bitter
<Seraphna> * Alita carries her familiar back up as Mykel works and heads towards the others.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And intend to hand them over to the Rogue Magi who besiege us?"
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia helps Alita
<DeathStar> <Delgi> *She deadpans at that*
* Nezikim grips his blade on his back "Command my blade"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I know they are your enemy. But they hold the ruins now."
<DeathStar> <Delgi> The ruins are meaningless now after your battle with them. All that remains is these orbs to guard.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And when they come for these orbs? Can you hold full power magi off?"
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen circles around, eyeing the fountains - each one has a magical feel of said element of their color - there's even ice and mud matching their color. The center object seems dead, perhaps the element from the fountains asre carried over
<Seraphna> Alita> "Then allow us to use them to restore the tower and hopefully have a place to allow the magi to rebuild." *she motions Ceilia to start checking around for circuits*
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia nods and does so
<DeathStar> <Delgi> You are not interested in rebuilding. You are using this as your base
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen finds the final slot, tapping it
<Nezikim> My Lady *He address Sasha who I assume he was near to begin with while gripping the hilt of the blade at his back* Time is of the essence and this distraction threatns you and your people. Command my blade.
<DeathStar> 6* There seems to be no circuits visible
<Seraphna> Alita> "Delgi. Those who keep a base want to preserve it."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "That is true. And we are about to lose said base to the monsters who destroyed your master and his peers."
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia sighs, moving back to Alita and shaking her head
<DeathStar> <Delgi> The same could be said for them, despite my disgust for them
<Seraphna> Alita> "They plan to raid this place and empty whatever is left, as they have done before."
<DeathStar> <Delgi> They are the same Rogue Magi from a thousand years past, after all
<Seraphna> Alita> "Delgi, please. Let us restore what we can."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> That is not humanly possible
<Seraphna> Alita> "Not even Dragons live that long..."
<DeathStar> <Delgi> *She squints at Alita as if wondering why dragons cannot live that long*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "If not in flesh, then certainly in deed. Either way, they threaten the lives of everyone under my command and I will not leave any to die."
<Seraphna> Alita> "Familiars seem to be the only creatures who can."
<AquaKoala> *Commodus is quiet, looking out the window to check on the field
<DeathStar> <Delgi> You are interested only in your people. *She notes bitterly* Give me an orb and keep the rest. *She spits*

<DeathStar> 6* Once Sasha places the orb, the ladder extends and the final form is formed, a giant orbed room

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "See what you cna do here. I'm going to the top floor." *starts up the ladder*
<Seraphna> Alita> "This seems to need elements, but all I have is fire and raw Mana."
<Seraphna> * Alita tries using her fire magic on the fire section of the fountain.
<DeathStar> 6* Having fire running in the fountain already, it poofs up and burns Alita a bit

<Seraphna> Alita> "Eeep, can't use the same element then... we need the missing ones..." *she tries to reason out what's missing*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Ceilia... check things up here." *moves down the ladder again* "Alita, move the amgic from the fountains to the central receptacle."
<DeathStar> 6* Reaching the top floor, there is stock piles of boxes up there, a giant slot in the roof with a barrier, on the wall all types of weapons glowing with magic, and in the center is a strange slot machine for a mage to enter
<Seraphna> * Alita blinks and nods, she starts to try moving the magic as instructed.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *sighs and climbs back up the ladder*
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia blinks, moving into the slot
<DeathStar> 6* The flame moves to Alita's hand, emptying from the fountain
<Seraphna> * Alita then tries to put the flame into the recepticle.
<DeathStar> 6* As Ceilia enters the slot, magical devices and circuits attach, but beep, lacking power. There's a slot on the wall
<kalonZombee> 6*She inspects the slot, burning two mind to figure it out
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *moves over to the slot on the wall*
<DeathStar> 6* As Alita puts it into the recepticle, part of the wall opens, and a cannon extends. A power guard shows as magical controls attach to Alita, and the spire itself is able to shift and aim, but the power being so weak now indicates one shot period for a limit time, no matter the element. Before her the death cloud is 10 mins away
<DeathStar> 6* The slow is a power orb slot. CEilia can tell the attached circuits use mana points directly from the mage itself to work, whatever it is. Once it gets power she'll likely find out

<DeathStar> 6* Alita currently has Fire Magic in the cannon

<Nezikim> If a wave of ice was coming at us fire might work. She's countering
<Seraphna> Alita> *frowns, trying to move the fire out first since she was asking if mixing them would be bad*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *gestrues at Nesikim and Commodus* "Thank you!"
<DeathStar> 6* Likely the fire wouldn't mix, since the device takes one a time. It already has the mixed element fountains, as mentioned before. Ice, Mud, Plasma

<Seraphna> Alita> "You should probably listen to my sister and give her an orb to make it work though."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *goes up the ladder again and brings the orb over* "Prime the weapon."
<kalonZombee> 6*Ceilia nods, sliding the orb in and getting it primed
<DeathStar> 6* Once the orb is put in, CEilia's device turns on, her devices turning on. Ceilia would see the data, in the ancient magi language that she knows now, indicating this is a shield device - which means it can't work at the same time as the gun. So if she is shielding the gun will lose it's power (Despite it can only fire once before needing serious recharge time)
<DeathStar> 6* IT can only last as long as her mana points that remain, meaning to keep their barrier up, a mage has to rush into the device

<Seraphna> Alita> "I can only fire this once. It'll take a while to recharge, tell me when."

<Seraphna> * Alita takes thet time to line it up for maximum effectiveness.

On the ground is 6 dead mages, with 10 more in cloakes, hitting the two with every spell they got, frying them, icing them, sending dark magic into them - apparantly they are pissed at losing valuable ancient mages

* Nezikim brings his blade up and across at another and preparing to shoulder slam a second if successful

* Nezikim swings his blade back around aiming to literally cut the legs out from under another mage
<AquaKoala> *Commodus grabs at two, of the three he tackled, of their heads and attempts to bash them into the floor
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen holds his dual sword and flips, slashing two, but hits their magic shield, but knocks them back from the sheer force, while Sasha blows up a few with magical power, stunning them. As Nez takes out one's leg, and Commodus knocks one out, the mages unleash a wind burst to knock the warriors, minus Sasha, back a few feet off of them

<AquaKoala> *Commodus attempts to kip up and hurls a javelin at on of the remaining mages, careful where he throws
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *lets her trap go off then channels fire magic into her blade as she moves into the fray directly*
<Seraphna> * Alita follows after Talia it seems, who disobeys again it seems. As she comes down, she uses Flasbust out at some of the mages, aiming for those not near the others. (Blind, 5 Turns+)
* Nezikim slams his blade into the ground at the wind blade to brace himself and keep from getting knocked off his feet (if i can do that with bull's rush M?)
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen dashes after the javelin, using Iron Spirit Lv. 2 and making himself light since they are dark mages, slashing at one's face. At that moment, Degli shows up and slashes, powered up even more and slams into one, knocking him into the javelin, taking him out. Nezkim braces him easily
<DeathStar> 6* With five mages down, one slashed in the face and wounded, and two blinded, they begin to worry
<Seraphna> * Alita spins her staff around and sends a Smote of flame at one. (4 HP Fire Damage)
<AquaKoala> *Commodus charges in again and punches full force at one of the remaining mages (burn one str)
* Nezikim takes an offensive pose "Which of you knows the most and which one is the highest ranked?"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Alita, see to the kitos!" *then suddenly speeds behind the furthest of the magi and slashes* (Body Enhancement 2)
<DeathStar> 6* One's robes set on fire, and Commodus punches the cut one, taking him down. As one burns, getting naked quickly, Gwen leaps up and slashes a third with Delgi, using Iron Blade attack (5 HP damage) with her crushing power orb strike to take him out. As Sasha takes out the one Alita burned off their clothes, the remaining mages look at Nez, about to say something when they grab their bodies in pain, slumping. Delgi even eyes them and Talia hops up
<DeathStar> 6* The dead bodies begin to do a black smoke
<Seraphna> * Alita nods and burns a point of speed to rush over to them after her Smote goes off.
<DeathStar> 6* And the remaining ones alive scream, black smoke pouring from their eyes and mouth

<DeathStar> 6* She leaps up the stairs. Gwen stares, confused and stumbles back
<Seraphna> Alita> "...Could be death gas!" *she pulls the Kitos away from them*

* Nezikim pulls his cape up around his mouth and nose, backing up the stairs

<Seraphna> ALita> "MOVE BACK UPSTAIRS SOLDIERS THAT'S AN ORDER!" *she burns a poiunt of Charisma to rally and passes the Kitos off on a strong man when they pass*

<DeathStar> <Mage> C-Curse you... Alze....h... 6* Talia leaps aftr Alita and Gwen leaps after as they explode magically, a powerful dark wave shooting

<Seraphna> * Alita pulls Talia up the stairs more, letting Commodus carry the Kitos back.
<DeathStar> 6* Delgi stares at the deadly darkness as it fades slowly, leaving corruption on the mage steel walls, that slowly repair themselves

<Seraphna> Alita> "Their leader... wasn't with them."
<AquaKoala> *Commodus scratches his beard and sets the Kitos down gently

I came across a sword out in the dirt that had never came alive and realized there is much of the magi still hidden. *She says, not realizes gradius have been discovered a few decades back - granted this one hasn't that she mentions*

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *nods and moves to another chamber* "The reality is this... this being... Alze... whatever. He is a dire threat and I cannot stomach allowing him free reign over this spire."
* Nezikim follows behind her at a respectable distance but still able to act as some form of body guard
<Seraphna> * Alita settles in to treat the Kitos, making sure Mykel is okay as well, she keeps Talia close.

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "My initially intent was to plan the destruction of the spire to keep it from falling into this renegade's hands... but the logistics of that are not working out currently. We could try to re-supply via the transplacer, and let them assemble a force from the mage and summoner tamaes to secure this place in our stead."
<DeathStar> 6* She looks lost as to who that is. "That sounds like it might work. If you only want the place as a base, I see no reason to let others use it to do magic - it would give you more people as a buffer."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Then I shall put my plans into action. I would appreciate your counsel in this as we now have a mutual enemy."
<DeathStar> 6* Delgi considers, then nods. "I will say my two pieces then for as long as we are both here."
