<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Forest, despite it's name, is quite colorful
<DeathStar> 6* Plants are various purples, blues, all shades of dark colors that shine brightly, and there are little fairy like creatures that fly around, glowing like fireflies
<DeathStar> 6* Due to the party, nymphs all about sleeping off food and drink happily, clinging to each other
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito and Kito are buried alive under women
<Sara> * Liana reads, letting out a soft sigh as she rolls over things in her head, deciding she'll wait until later to write about it
<DeathStar> 6* Shade exits her tree stealthily as the nymphs sleep, passing them over as she walks along
<DeathStar> Shade, the Great Dark Spirit, and her other name Shadow if another version of her is up, is a being of pure darkness. Completely nude like the Great Light Spirit, this time you mostly see it, with her beautiful onyx skin, black hair that goes to her hips, and red eyes. Her breasts are barely covered with what looks like tattoos, showing some nipple, and her shaven sex has tatoos around there too, giving what might be a clear view.

<Kaelan> * Alita sits, petting Talia in her lap as she yawns a bit.

<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy hrmphs at Alita and ties on her belt with the Moonflower Blade and briskly jots after Shade.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *steps into the waters of the nymph lake*
<DeathStar> 6* Thankfully, Qui does not notice Alita's disturbing naughtiness
<DeathStar> 6* The nymphs move over to Sasha playfully and help wash her, making the job much faster
<Kaelan> * Alita pauses to look back at Vyvy going and considers, following after her instead.
<DeathStar> 6* Surprisingly, Sasha would find the lake prestine, refreshing to be in, and restorative, relaxing her muscles and even making her skin feel softer, almost like she was younger. For older women this would be like a fountain of youth
<DeathStar> 6* Qui is following Shade I meant
<Kaelan> * Then Alita goes in the right direction!
<DeathStar> 6* Shade leaves no trail and her aura seems surpressed.
<DeathStar> 6* Qui makes a face as they go in the direction they saw

<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Grr...
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy lifts her eyepatch, peering at the pathway
<DeathStar> 6* There's a faint trail going leftward, then north
<Sara> * Liana puts her book aside and moves to follow the others
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy rubs her forehead and follows the trail
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *reclines in the water, not even aware that her entire team just went after Shade*
<DeathStar> 6* Kito and Neekito help wash her with the nymphs
<DeathStar> 6* Sasha is complicated on about her skin as she is washed
<DeathStar> 6* The others soon reach a strange corruption in the forest. It's not like the yellow blight, but it looks to be glowing bright, corrupting the forest somehow, transforming it. The Dark Forest's plant life is wilting away. Shade seems tired, holding out her hands and focusing to transform it back into the Dark Forest
<DeathStar> 6* The nymphs hum, washing her breasts, taking the honor from the Kitos. Well, normally. The Kitos just focus on her hair
<Kaelan> * Alita frowns, tilting her head as she peers over the glowing.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I must say, this water is divine."

<DeathStar> 6* A few nymphs rub their hands along her body now that it's done. "Would you like the special treatment now?"

<Sara> * Liana frowns and takes a step away from the glow

<DeathStar> 6* Shade steps back over. "I have wondered that a few times, but I cannot think she would blatantly attack me. It would unsurp the balance between us."

<DeathStar> 6* Meanwhile, at the entrance of the Great Forest, Spira works on learning how to fly the carriage, peering up as the Legionares leave
<DeathStar> 6* Shade steps into the forest city again
<Sara> * Liana follows with Vyvy and presumably Qui
<DeathStar> 6* Qui walks beside Liana, poking her curiously
<Sara> <Liana> Mmh? What is it? Is there something on my face? *she looks at Qui*
<DeathStar> <Qui> Curious why the light things tried to spread to you
<Sara> <Liana> That... is a bit odd...
<DeathStar> 6* Shade nods to Sasha as they arrive
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Because of the light mana in her.

<DeathStar> 6* Shade moves for her giant tree, preferring to be in her special grotto, not the nymph's. The nymphs who are waking up wave
<DeathStar> 6* As they enter, there are giant mushrooms to sit on or lay on, and there is a personal little lake. The vines here are all over, especially above for some reason, and there's lots of beautiful glowing plants for lights. Shade sits down on a small dark throne
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Ah, LAdy Shade. You found my teammates... or they found you."
<Kaelan> * Alita takes a mushroom seat and yawns a bit more.
<DeathStar> <Shade> Yes. They are adventerous, my little Vyvy. *She sounds loving saying her name, hugging her likea lover*
<DeathStar> 6* Then lets go, being professional again
<DeathStar> 6* Unlike Salamander, who sets people on fire
<DeathStar> 6* Qui sits down quietly
<DeathStar> <Shade> They wanted to know about the royal bloodline

<DeathStar> <Shade> You see, a long time ago, Aska did something unsual, despite her stance on spirits. Or perhaps due to her stance

<DeathStar> 6* Shade closes her eyes. "She did something unnatural. She went beyond the bond you talk about you want want to do with me, Vyvy, that I warn you that you are too weak to do right now. She found someone, a royal that was not yet an empress. But due to her actions quickly became one. A powerful royal woman.
<DeathStar> <Shade> And made a pact, but it was more of a transformation of the blood. An unnatural thing. Part of Aska went into the person, changing the person on a biological level forever
<DeathStar> <Shade> And it's passed down from family member to family member
<DeathStar> <Shade> I will never do such, because of the arts that went into it. You have gained a fraction of the power, Vyvy, due to our relationship. Run off, or the power of intimacy, or love, however, but at least it is not a transformation on a biological level
<DeathStar> <Shade> So yes, I find it hard to believe a normal summoner could do this. Perhaps it's a very strong summoner. But I also do not believe the Empress is doing that, since she is the voice of Aska.
<DeathStar> <Shade> Though I know for fact that the Empress could do such as what I see.
<DeathStar> <Shade> I hope there is a third explanation, but I am too busy fighting the symptons to go after the cause
<Sara> * Liana looks at her hand in thought, pondering the idea of a transformation on a biological level like that...
<Kaelan> Alita> "Then it's a good thing we're here, we can try and go after the cause."
<DeathStar> <Qui> So any Spirit could do what Aska did? <Shade> Yes. So far none have that I know of.
<DeathStar> <Qui> Where all is the corruption? <Shade> So far near the city, but I keep it out of it. Only the last day has it begun to get stronger. It's not left the forest oddly enough
<DeathStar> <Shade> It began a few miles north of here. But I detected no one entering the forest. I did detect something strange, like an odd sensation. Almost like when you all came in
<DeathStar> <Shade> I nearly destroyed you on the spot
<Kaelan> Alita> "An odd sensation?"
<DeathStar> <Shade> It's best I can describe it. Something that made my hair rise
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We arrived through Celsius' teleportation."
<Kaelan> Alita> "...Have you ever witnessed or felt like everything was warping, and then you see lines and circles all around in the air?"
<DeathStar> <Shade> No
<Kaelan> * Alita nods a bit. "So not that..."
<DeathStar> <Qui> But she did feel like our entrance was a threat
<DeathStar> <Qui> And something went wrong with our entrance
<DeathStar> 6* Qui rises and leaves a moment
<Sara> * Liana frowns. "I hope the presence of me and the Commander aren't making anything worse..."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...where is Ceilia?"
<Kaelan> Alita> "Keeping an eue on Mykel."
<DeathStar> 6* Qui comes back, holding the crystal they got. Shade rears her head, recoiling and throws a vine to smash it. Qui blinks in surprise, stopping like a deeretard
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "What happened to that crystal she picked up?"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Ah, that would be it."
<Kaelan> Alita> "...That was what was keeping Gnome asleep right? It suddenly occurs to me we don't know how the Vents got that thing."
<DeathStar> 6* The vine slams into the crystal, sending the pieces falling down to the ground. Qui blinks a few times, then looks up. "Is Ceilia going to be mad at me?"
<Kaelan> Alita> "I'll explain to her."
<DeathStar> 6* Shade holds her head, looking weaker
<Kaelan> Alita> "Lady Shade, what was that?"
<Sara> <Liana> Lady Shade, are you all right?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Remove the crystal from this place, Qui... please."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> It's weaking master
<DeathStar> 6* Qui picks up the pieces and exits quickly
<DeathStar> <Shade> Hitting it hurt. I should not have reacted like I did. But seeing it made me recoil for some reason
<DeathStar> <Shade> It gave me the bad feeling I felt northward
<Kaelan> Alita> "Perhaps... I know why you felt no one enter the wood then."
<Kaelan> Alita> "Do your senses include... things enterting the wood? Say if someone dropped something like that crystal in from above."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Like northward... perhaps another fragment of the crystal landed her as well."
<Kaelan> Alita> "That is my working theory."
<DeathStar> <Shade> I do not know. I have never thought to try. I am not completely aware at all times
<DeathStar> <Shade> Sometimes I do not notice when Vyvy contacts me, for example, if I am fully focused
<Kaelan> Alita> "They might not have been dropped, but rather fallen from the heavens... but I suspect a similar element is in play."
<DeathStar> <Qui> We should go find it then and smash it!
<DeathStar> <Qui> Oh wait, My tried that
<DeathStar> <Qui> Maybe Liana or Sasha can do it if it is light based
<Kaelan> Alita> "Possibly a shadow based attack would destroy it too. Countering elements."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Master just tried
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "In all the excitement, we failed to ask the vents where they retrieved that crystal from."
<DeathStar> 6* Shade leans back
<DeathStar> <Shade> If you do destroy it, I will be in your debt
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "This is worrying actually. Assumign the vents did not get their crystal from here somehow... there could be more of these crystals scattered across the face of Geyze."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Our debt, huh?
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy smirks at Shade
<DeathStar> 6* Inside Shade's grotto is a black tree, unlike most trees, with lots of fruit on it that have a low glow of power
<DeathStar> 6* Shade opens her eyes, then her dark blue skin darkens with a blush
<DeathStar> <Shade> And what are you planning? *She wonders*
<Kaelan> ALita> "Sex possibly. Vyvy is a playful one."
<Kaelan> * Alita says this as a Lilen with a straight face.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *clicks her tongue*
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> A way that I might become stronger! Geez..!
<Sara> <Liana> I do hope that whatever it is, we can take care of it. It was hard seeing what was happening to the Great Forest... I don't want that to happen anywhere else...

<DeathStar> 6* Shade moves to relax, moving past her strange dark fruit tree into her grotto to rest
<DeathStar> 6* Leaving Sasha to decide if she wants to go after the crystal or not
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *rises* "Then we shall prepare an expedition to investigate the north."
<Sara> * Liana looks at the tree
<Kaelan> ALita> "Sounds good to me."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Right.
<Sara> * She then moves over and picks a single fruit from it
<DeathStar> 6* Qui outside grabs her weapons and armor
<DeathStar> 6* The tree shakes a lot, and the fruit glows in Liana's hand
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy sloooowly eyes Liana
<Sara> * Liana blinks, looking at it, but stows it away
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ...
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Come." *walks back to the commons*
<Sara> * Liana follows after Sasha
<Kaelan> * Alita follows, flapping wings.
<DeathStar> 6* Neekito and Kito have their gear ready and the nymph who kissed Sasha is ready to be their guide
<DeathStar> <Nymph> Hi. *she flirts with Sasha* Ready to go?
<Kaelan> * Alita grabs her staff and pets Talia.

<Sara> * Liana gets her stuff, putting on her battle dress

<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> We're leaving immediately, are we?" She sulks a bit.

<Sara> <Liana> We saw how things went in the Great Forest. Time is definitely important.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> But she was really worn out just now..

<Nyaomi> * Vyvy looks teary-eyed, but smiling, nodding.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *glances about then frowns* "Though Mykel and Commodus are not present."
<DeathStar> <Guide> Follow me to see our beautiful forest, princess
<DeathStar> 6* The guide pulls Sasha gently along into the forest, which to it's credit is gorgeous. Despite the monsters and vines that try to get them, but the nymph guide shoos them away
<DeathStar> 6* Qui walks with Liana
<DeathStar> <Qui> Are you okay, Li? You seem distant and distracted since the party
<Kaelan> * Alita follows the others, humming a little.
<Sara> <Liana> I think so. Just... in thought. Biologically transformed... huh.
<DeathStar> 6* The nymph holds Sasha's hand, resting her head on her shoulder as she points out sights, like the giant monster that eats adventures, called Grog. The nymph sings a song so they can pass, telling them how Grog is a legendary monster to test adventurers and once it got Vyvy and almost ate her before some nymphs saved her
<DeathStar> <Qui> Liana is Liana
<DeathStar> *She pats her*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *glances back at Liana*
<Sara> * Liana is looking ahead, rather than at Qui or Sasha
<DeathStar> <Nymph> Over there is the tentacle vine section. We warn men and women to avoid that if they squismish. We have to rescue Lilins from there sometimes. The valley girl types
<DeathStar> 6* The nymph nods, pointing at Ceilia in there no doubt
<Kaelan> Alita> "Could be a fun afternoon."
<DeathStar> 6* Soon, though, after an hour or so, the forest begins to look normal, plain, like something is terraforming it. The Dark Forest beauty is gone for plainness
<DeathStar> 6* The light corruption all around them glowing and the nymph tries to avoid it, walking into the changed forest, heading for the center where this "Crystal" should be
<Kaelan> ALita> "This is... the oddest taint."
<DeathStar> 6* But when she begins to enter she looks weak
<DeathStar> 6* Qui shakes her head, feeling a bit weaker too, as would Alita due to their half daemon sides
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Saria do you really need to detail that much about Grog.
<DeathStar> (well full for Alita)
<Nyaomi> 6She huff.s
<DeathStar> <Saria> S-sorr... *She huffs as she struggles to move on, guiding them*
<DeathStar> 6* Qui walks along, grabbing a stick to use
<Sara> <Liana> My grandpa beat up Grog's grandpa.
<Sara> <Liana> Of course, it wasn't very hard...
<Kaelan> * Alita shudders a bit. "This feels all wrong..."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *glances around* "The forest has changed..."
<Sara> * Liana nods, frowning as she glances around
<Kaelan> Alita> "This place is weakening me... it's like... it's removing the daemon from this place."
<DeathStar> 6* Up ahead, is one of the crystals, glowing bright, like it has been altered a little, or used differently than meant. OR who knows since you all don't know what it is. But it's definitely putting out waves of light magic
<DeathStar> <Qui> I feel like it's erasing me
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We are here. Stay back." *moves forward to examine it*
<DeathStar> 6* The nymph lays down, worn out
<DeathStar> <Saria> Tired
<DeathStar> 6* Qui stands, being half, unlike Alita who would find herself collapsing
<Sara> * Liana narrows her gaze, in a guarded stance
<Kaelan> Alita> "I'm fine with staying here..." *falls over*
<DeathStar> 6* Sasha would be pelted with light waves, so far unaffected. Vyvy would feel Shade's touch fading with each hit, all that mating being undone
<DeathStar> 6* The waves seem to come every minute
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *glances at the others* "Pull back. You are becoming ill."
<DeathStar> 6* Liana so far too is unaffected. IF anything it's doing her good, like Sasha
<Sara> * Liana takes a small step closer, wanting to help. She looks concerned about the others, though.
<DeathStar> 6* Qui grabs the two and pulls them away before falling
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "How to relocate this crystal without causing more damage?"
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Agh.
<DeathStar> 6* The crystal lays there. 30 seconds until another wave
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *moves to pick up the crystal*
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> Put it in something!
<Kaelan> Alita> "This sucks..." *she lays curled up*
<DeathStar> 6* Everything warps around Sasha and Liana a bit, but it still seems to be running like normal. The light wave shooting off
<DeathStar> 6* Sasha and Liana getting more light energy
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Such as where?!"
<Sara> * Liana frowns. "If we could just 'turn it off' somehow, but..."
