<DeathStar> 6.15.5990 CE
<DeathStar> Erica, Sao, Yuki, Cookie, Cass, Gor & Little left the Aquarius to begin exploration of the ruins of Mega City, starting with the Presedential Complex. What they find initially is an even more extravagent sight than what had been seen from afar; the building is seemingly split between two versions of itself, one is cleaner and brighter while the other is older and darker.
<DeathStar> Beginning on the ground floor they begin searching for records of what happened, the few papers they find crumbling to dust when touched; and only a couple of questionable dates and entries in a log-book that don't make sense, except for one "President C" who Cassandra immediately decides means Cran. During all of this Yuki is experiencing headaches, stating that something about this is familiar but she can't quite recall what or from where.
<DeathStar> In order to explore further, and hopefully gain some answers, the group makes its way up through the building using a staircase towards the Presidential Suites. Along the way they encounter an unsightly scene, an almost fully encased body that has been caught in mid-stride by whatever anomaly has been happening to the building; the stairs seem to be affected as well, looking like a slightly melted version of itself.
<DeathStar> Pressing further on and upward they arrive at the Presidential Suite, where they find that the two 'types' of the building have yielded some interesting information for them; on one side the pictures and nameplates of a few presidents, on the other side the same pictures and nameplates but of far more presidents along with dates of their terms. This brings about a fair bit of confusion and frustration, seeing as it makes no sense for some of these seeming futuristic pictures.
<DeathStar> As the team continues to pull folders, drawers and even some computers and hard-drives for analysis, the building begins to shift beneath them; apparently the merger that had brought together these two distinct versions of the building hasn't completed, and is now leaving a dormancy period to bring the two worlds even further into 'alignment'. They race to make their way back down the winding stairs, finding the location they had found the body in being even further into a melted state; getting through here takes a fair bit of balance and patience on the parts of the group members but they make it through and to the bottom level.
<DeathStar> After leaving the Government Complex they find outside that buildings have gone missing, a few Japanese or Asian buildings have come up in other locations as well. They return quickly to the Aquarius carrying their finds and set about the task of sorting through everything collected and trying to decrypt what they can as quickly as possible; it seems that this information may prove important for the crew as a whole, not just those who left initially with the vessel.

<DeathStar> <Narrator> They say turning points can come quietly, without warning. Other times, they come up quickly and violently, like a storm, and take the world by surprise. The three groups experienced all their turning points in various ways. I wasn't there for all their beginnings, but I got involved with part of the groups around this point in the story. Though I kept my eye on the politics and events until now, a lot of the story I have been telling came second hand to me. As I relate it now... with the time I have ... it has been peaceful. Now, though, things began to change. And we still hadn't even begun to encounter the bigger events.
<DeathStar> <Narrator> For the Academy, their event would come like a storm that had been slowly building, on a summer evening. For the club, their event was more quiet, subtle, like a snake in the midst that was waiting to strike, and none aware of it. And for the Aquarius, they had landed in the middle of something larger than any of them had begun to wrap their heads around yet

<DeathStar> <Yuki> Tell me. What now, Eri? Do we plan to go out there and investigate more?
<Seraphna> * Cookie looks over the woman in medical, having started to employ the ship's medical tech to restore the broken and missing parts of her body.
<Sara> <Erica> Good question... we don't even have all of the information from last time we did...
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor is spending time with Kitty.
<Stretch> 6Kaylin sits in the back room of the armory on her bunk, absently petting mauser as she stares blankly at a wall.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I keep running my head why you guys were sent here. Besides to scan the planet and gather stuff.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I guess we should explore more and see what else we can learn. 6* She muses, since they have learned about the position of this Earth and all
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "What about that encrpted fileyou pulled from my body? Could it have a clue to decrypt these terminals?"

<Seraphna> * Cookie pets the cat and sets it down with some brownie.

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki just pats Cassandra. "Just a tiny bit more. I am hopefully running the final scan."
<SuperKoala> *Little eyes them, exuding an alpha scent and feeling
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Though how you got a virus is beyond me. Even a reality based one

<Sara> <Erica> *comm* We're going to explore a bit more, so I need whoever's coming with us to report to the elevator down to the surface.
<Sara> <Erica> *normal* Likely someone specifically wanted to avoid you guys knowing whatever's in there?
<kalonZombie> <Gor> I better go. 6*He kisses Kitty and heads to the elevator
<Seraphna> * Cookie sighs and sets the staff to finish reconstitution, grabbing her gear.
<SuperKoala> *Little rises, glaring at the cats as she moves off to the bridge
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki heads for the hanger
<DeathStar> 6* They mew at her
<Sara> * Erica goes to the hangar, side-by-side with Yuki
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "No kidding. Someone would need physical access to my body's internals to install a virus."
<Seraphna> * Cookie heads for the hangar.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *follows after Yuki to the hangar*
<Chain> 6*Kitty nods to Gor, using a kitten to kitty wave goodbye as he goes
<Stretch> 6Kaylin will look up at the intercom listening while shifting Mauser to the side, pulling on her tac gear and moving for the door; 14"stay out of trouble little one..." 6She heads towards the hangar as well, pulling out her assault rifle and slipping the sling assembly around her neck and shoulder.
<Sara> * Erica nods to everyone as they arrive, ready to head down
<Seraphna> * COokie skips up to them.
<SuperKoala> *Little nods back, wearing her tool belt
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki sees Gor, then looks around. "No Kitty?"
<DeathStar> 6* She steps onto the elevator to go down to the surface

<Seraphna> * Cookie hugs on Yuki and yawns.

<Stretch> 6Kaylin will step onto the elevator as well, shifting the rifle slightly.

<DeathStar> 6* Rain walks along quietly, wearing a beautiful gothic like dress, leading the team up higher and higher, approaching the dark tower
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen follows silently, peering at the daemons glancing at them curiously
<Seraphna> * Alita wears her best robes, walking along with Talia resting comfy in them.
<SuperKoala> *Commodus follows along, wearing his fancy armour
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia walks next to Alita, smiling
<Stretch> 6Mykel walks along between Ceilia and Alita, his hands clasped behind his back.
<Sara> * Liana quietly peers toward the tower as she walks with the others

<DeathStar> 6* Neekito and Kito follow, wearing their tradiitonal handmaiden clothing, their weapons hidden out of sight
<DeathStar> 6* Rain talks to the two minotaur guards, quietly gesturing at the group
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *walks forward, just a bit in front of the Kitos*
<SuperKoala> *Commodus waves to the Minotaurs
<DeathStar> 6* The guards step aside and the doors glow, opening. Rain walks through into the dark halls, passing many people waiting around, various daemon races and some non, waiting to petition and talk to the empress.
<DeathStar> 6* The minotaurs snort at Commodus, confused
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia gives the minotaurs a slightly flirty wave
<Seraphna> * Alita gives them a smile and hwads along after Rain.
<kalonZombie> 6*Then heads up after Rain
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *steps inside, clad in a fine gown for the occasion*
<SuperKoala> *Commodus nods to the Minotaurs as he passes
<DeathStar> 6* Rain leads them past dark, marble walls and halls, the palace seemingly glowing as if alive, to the center platform is located with a dias. There are three daemons there - a vampire, lilin, and asmos. Rain discusses who they are as she waits for the others to get on
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen hurries along, peering around - the first floor stretching far to the left and right than the area they are walking, apparantly the ground floor having a lot than just the petition hallway
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *steps on to the dias*
<Sara> * Liana follows behind Sasha
<Seraphna> * Alita moves over to stand on it.
<Stretch> 6Mykel will follow along at the same pace, not making any movements or indications of hostility, just along for now to watch.
<DeathStar> 6* He then steps onto the center platform, noting many daemons aren't looking happy at how they bypassed them all. The two Kitos get on

<Seraphna> * Alita gives them a courteous bow.
<DeathStar> 6* The three daemons nod and set the dial on the dias to the upper floor and the platform begins to glow and lift up slowly. Gwen glances up and notices there is a circular hole above them that goes on and on as far as he can see

<DeathStar> 6* She turns back to the others
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Thank you, Rain."
<SuperKoala> *Commodus waits patiently
<DeathStar> 6* The demure vampire nods as they lift up after all of them are on, passing floor after floor. Some floors have little to note, others have grand libraries, others have small daemons learning spells and arts, others have kitchen staff and others have gardens like the Dark Forest. Soon they rise up 50 floors or so and slow down, stopping

<DeathStar> 6* The Asmos Daemon walks along a hallway filled with paintings of past leaders and up ahead is a throne with a young Asmos female, sitting there. She looks quite beautiful, her dark blue skin a bit like Shade, and silver hair. Her dark eyes take them in
<Stretch> 6Mykel takes all of this in silently as they ascend through the palace but remains quiet.

<Seraphna> * Alita looks on her with interest, she kneels as well, blushing just a bit.

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *rises back to her full height* "Yes, your majesty. We are here to report the results of out intervention in the Dark Forest."
<DeathStar> <Neophyx> Yes, my people reported you there. *she leans back, waiting to hear*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We made contact with Shade who guided us to the source of the corruption. The focus of this corruption was a crystal of unknown nature that had been infused with elemental Light."
<DeathStar> <Neophyx> I see. Disturbing. And no clue who planted it there I take it
<DeathStar> 6* One of her Lilin advisors walks in and whispers in her ear as she listens to them
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "No, your majesty. We were able to purge the Light energy. We encountered a similar crystal in the Great Forest, though lacking the elemental attunement of this one."
<DeathStar> <Neophyx> I am afraid I have to interrupt you. I have bad news
<Seraphna> * Alita blinks.
<Sara> * Liana frowns at the words "bad news"
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia tilts her head
<Stretch> 6Mykel frowns as well, looking directly at the Empress and waiting for this news.

<DeathStar> <Neophyx> Apparantly due to a recent attack on the Legion's Kaiser, the Legion's eldest son is moving a massive force against the Amazons with the intent to enter their territory and kill them all.
<Seraphna> * Alita blinks. "Oh no..."
<SuperKoala> *Commodus grimaces, trying to control himself
<Sara> * Liana's gaze falls
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "From my understanding, the Kaiser himself would not approve of such an action, your majesty."
<DeathStar> <Neophyx> Also, there are rumors from my... people... that there is a plot frame an Amazon that is there under the guise of peace to kill the Kaiser for good. Apparantly she claims to have saved the Kaiser and work for Princess Qui.
<DeathStar> <Neophyx> Apparantly he is weak and not aware of the situation
<DeathStar> <Neophyx> The Amazon I mentioned is attempting to help him due to knowledge of the poison
<Stretch> 6Mykel grimaces and looks to Sasha now, wondering how this will work out.
<Seraphna> Alita> "It's quite possible the son is taking advantage..."

<DeathStar> <Neophyx> I have been told that the Tamae in the Academy wants you all to come back to them. Apparantly something about there being too many important people in one unit? And they wish to separate you or protect you due to their incident
<Seraphna> * Alita frowns.
<Sara> * Liana looks up, definitely frowing more now
<DeathStar> <Neophyx> If you wish for the damaeon protection from this order you have it, or I can look the other way if you wish to ignore it for now
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen jerks, knowing this has something to do with Qui
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia looks at Mykel and Alita in worried

<Seraphna> <Alita> "We're better off together... something doesn't seem right about this."

<DeathStar> <Gwen> *softly* The Tamae have always been a force against the main Academy group
<DeathStar> <Gwen> If they think we have too many leaders in one unit they may be fearing us
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *curtseys to the empress* "Thank you for this audience, your majesty." *backs away from the empress' presence so as not to turn her back*
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> And like hell I'm letting them seperate me from my sister.

<Stretch> 6Mykel looks to the others in the group; 12"the timing of this is questionable..."
<DeathStar> 6* Neophyx talks quietly with her sisters, giving them the privacy

<kalonZombie> 6*She smiles at him, letting him know it was a joke
<Sara> <Liana> *softly* Too many leaders... huh.
<DeathStar> 6* Rain leads them a diplomacy room to the side of the throne room
<DeathStar> <Rain> You do have Lady Sasha and Lady Qui in your group. Then yourself from what I have heard
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *turns once she is a respectful distance away and moves into the side room* "And the whirlwind of events threatens to consume us."
<DeathStar> <Rain> And Vyvy is beginning to be known for her dallancies with the spirits
<Seraphna> * Alita follow Rain so they can all talk in private. "The Academy's members are all expected to rise up and do important things, saying someone is too important is almost an oxymoron for what we are."
<DeathStar> 6* The Kitos glance at them all
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia follows
<Seraphna> Alita> "The only people in this group without some sort of nobility are myself and Ceilia."
<SuperKoala> Commodus> Yes but we have important people from all hut two kingdoms
<Sara> <Liana> Me, a leader? *she slightly chuckles, though not in a happy tone* But yeah, I guess most of us are somehow important... huh? *she looks at Alita, not knowing Mykel's secret*
<DeathStar> <Rain> Unless you have someone else I don't kjnow about
<Seraphna> Alita> "Heck, even Kito and Neekito are important people in some way."
<DeathStar> <Rain> That right there is a lot of power
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I would wish to communicate with Miss Lu if we can."
<Seraphna> Alita> "If we do that Sasha... we may be unable to pretend we didn't get the message."
<DeathStar> <Rain> Even if you do get out of this, you do know it will draw time away from the north
<Seraphna> ALita> "I'm unsure... when I spoke to Lu before she seemed worried about the amount of people who were high up in our group."
<Stretch> 6Mykel waits for them all to be in the room and the door closed; 12"I don't think it's the number of our team who do or may hold authority in a kingdom, it's that as a single unit we can act with authority to stop something. With authority from both the Academy and one of the respective kingdoms."
<DeathStar> 6* Rain closes her eyes
<DeathStar> <Rain> I imagine that makes the Tamae shake. The Daemon Tamae may be more laid back than the others, but we have our own agendas too
<DeathStar> <Rain> Now take into two Tamae who know their kingdoms are going to war. And others who may be plotting
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "With our collective connections, we could re-order the status quo. Imagine if Mykel became Kaiser over his cousins. Qui became queen of the Amazons? What if I were to become Hapian Empress?"
<Seraphna> Alita> "Irony since among our group we have people who could forge a peace, given the right circumstances."
<Sara> * Liana blinks at the idea of Sasha becoming Empress
<DeathStar> 6* Rain glances at Mykel with new respect
<Stretch> 6Mykel glances to Gwen then to Sasha...12 "right here, right now, we could effectively stop this prospective war..."

<SuperKoala> *Otto grumbles, coming in, his coat shot through in a few spots
<Seraphna> Luci> "Otto? Is that you? It's been ages! My how you've grown."
<Sara> * Chelsea rubs her eyes
<Stretch> 6Jelly is standing behind her, scritching at his ear as he tries to peer over her shoulder at the work...not like he can program right now as his computer has been hijacked by Asarar...

<SuperKoala> *Otto glares, his skin dissolving down to his actual appearance

<Chain> 6*Wolfe looks up, his wild hair pulled back into a manbun
<Seraphna> Luci> "What? You've been out and about like forever."
<kalonZombie> <Max> It's kinda true. You have.
<Seraphna> Luci> "We picked up a Fox while you were out. And now we're corporate thugs."
<SuperKoala> *Otto moves over to his corner of the control room taking his coat off "I had to hide, somebody burned me."
<Jackieness> <Kira> *walks in, sporting a wrist cast on her right arm, a black eye, and various bruises and healing scrapes since she was dumped in front of the club two days prior with the crap beaten out of her*
<Stretch> 6Jelly will just look back at her while she does this, moving over to the system with a slight smile on his face. 3"Bubble butt wonka silhouette..."

<Sara> * Chelsea rises and moves to Asarar's side, looking at her with some concern
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar walks past Kira and waits in the elevator
<DeathStar> 6* Bonnie hangs off Wolfe in cat form

<Seraphna> * Alita follows her and gets on the elevator, starting to switch into her work clothes without a bit of shyness.

<SuperKoala> *Otto moves into the elevator, carrying his breifcase
<Chain> 6*Wolfe pulls a coat on and carries Bonnie with him to the elevator
<Stretch> 6Jelly will grab his pack, huffing to hoist it as he follows towards the elevator.

<DeathStar> 6* As Kaylin fires, the points she hits since she didn't indicate the wings, and hits along the ship, does no noticeable damage, even with the spirit cannon.

<DeathStar> 6* The Aquarius' energy levels dropping faster. Anywhere a normal engineering/power section, though there are tons of explosions, does not seem to slow the vessel, which returns fire, taking out their shields in a volley
<Stretch> 6Kaylin adapts the new data quickly, targetting the wing points specificially as she keys the Spirit Weapons once again.
<DeathStar> 6* After the second volley, the normal areas on the Winged Vessel are alit and giant holes are all over, with gaping sectors, but it shows no sign of weakness. The wings on the vessel fire again, taking out sections of the Aquarius

<Stretch> 6Kaylin will focus entirely on the vessels wings, targetting them with every weapon the Aquarius has at its disposal and hitting 'fire' as they show up behind the other ship.

<DeathStar> 6* The planet looking deserted for ages. She turns and eyes the other capsules, getting water in them and begins to use fox fire, burning it away before opening her datapad. "IS there anyone out there? This is Yuki Mizukaze, calling anyone out there that is still alive?"
