<DeathStar> Location: Quad 6, Slums. Space Port
<DeathStar> 6* The Space Port is a run down location, but the smells are better than most of them. The Asian District feel of the space port is nicer than most, and Chelsea is a small timid thing that enjoys the looks of ships. A large number of ships have come in carrying merceinaries, off in wars far off in some wars in the Crytok Empire getting coins doing wars for various groups, that Max has been part of to get out of the slums and away from it all
<DeathStar> 6* Finally coming back after a long time away.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max scrunches his nose "...I already miss the jungle."

<DeathStar> 6* People in the slums ignore Max, except a few peasants moving up, sensing he has coins on him, begging
<kalonZombie> 6*Max ignores them and starts heading out to look for jobs, most of his coin being saved for a few days worth of drinking, or finding a place to transfer half of it to his other account meant for his sister
<DeathStar> 6* As Max moves for the space port exit, he finds it locked down, with Corporate people refusing to let anyone out
<Sara> * Chelsea meanwhile wanders the spaceport in baggy clothes, spending a lot of her time at places like that when she isn't doing "jobs"
<kalonZombie> 6*He moves up to one of the suits "What's going on? 6*He asks, sounding only a little annoyed but mostly cordial
<DeathStar> 6* A woman that looks a bit like Kira, with a visor and cat suit seems to be leading a team of people as they enter, though this person has much longer hair than Kira and moves with a different style. She has a picture of a girl.
<DeathStar> 6* Also in the port, no doubt, looking like someone different is Otto somewhere, not appearing like he does today
<DeathStar> <Corporate Stooge> We are searching for someone. Have you seen this girl? *He holds up a picture of Vyvy*
<DeathStar> <Stooge> We have reason to believe she might be looking for a ship here. She is a deadly killer.
<AquaKoala> *Otto is sitting on a bench, watching nonchalantly
<kalonZombie> <Max> Nope. Can't say I have.
<DeathStar> 6* A woman is nearby, leaning back in rather nice clothing for the slums, her ship having been diverted here due to the search. She has long dark hair and dark eyes. She glances at her watch, waving at Chelsea. "Do you know what is going on?"
<DeathStar> <Stooge> Well, wait around until we find here, then
<kalonZombie> 6*Max rolls his eyes and heads back. It's always the same. Why'd he leave again? The place smelled like pee and you can't even see the sky.
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> "Cancel all outbound flights. Divert all inbound. Lock down the spaceport. I want this place combed."
<DeathStar> 6* The stooges nod and move to do that. Right now, one shuttle is still geared up to go, the pilot oblivious to what is going on as he hums, checking his pre-flight list
<feather> * A short being draped in a cloak and mantle meanders at the edge of the crowd near the building walls, glancing the way of the ships and security lining up, pausing in their gait, then seems to turn against the grain.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max prepares for the combing by bringing out his paperwork that allow him to walk around with his weapons
<Sara> * Chelsea looks confused. "I don't... It looks like they're locking the place down." She frowns.
<DeathStar> <Woman> I hope it's nothing serious.
<DeathStar> 6* The Corporate people move for the main shipping offices, a run down building
<Sara> * Chelsea moves to try to eavesdrop on employees and figure out what's going on. All shady like.
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> *moves over to a window overlooking the tarmac then flips on her comm* "There's a shuttle on the tarmac with engines cycling up. I'm want that one detained and searched first."
<DeathStar> 6* The Corporate Stooge walks over to the Kira-lookalike. "We got orders if we can't find her, to start arresting everyone in here and taking them up to the Tech Corporation
<Sara> * Chelsea blinks at this and heads that way, curious
<DeathStar> 6* The Stooges nod, moving to the one shuttle still on
<feather> * The cloaked being moves close to the edge of the barricade and heads into the building closest to the shuttles priming to go.
<Sara> * Chelsea eyes the cloaked one and quietly shadows it
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> "Then you better find her because detainment just means more paperwork."
<DeathStar> 6* The other Stooges begin to get the hanger shut down, even as the only shuttle ready to launch begins to lift up a bit. The stooge panics and hurries.
<DeathStar> <Stooge> Hey, you---stop.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max sighs, bored, leaning against a wall
<DeathStar> 6* Max would note the other Corporate people calling in back up to detain everyone here. The way they are eyeing the 20-30 people in the space port slums, it doesn't look pretty if he doesn't get out of here
<feather> * The cloaked glances back at the Stooge, making a clicking noise and dashes inside
<kalonZombie> 6*Max looks around, startomg to slink away
<DeathStar> 6* The Stooges discreetly call some agencies to help them round up the people here. Chelsea would notice the Vyvy girl get into the shuttle, even as the shuttle door shuts
<DeathStar> 6* The shuttle lifts up and flies out even as the hanger closes a second or two later
<Sara> <Chelsea> Tch.
<DeathStar> 6* Luci's desk gets the flash of the job offer to help arrest the people in the hanger
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> *comm* "There is a bird in the air. Why was it aloowed to lift off?"
<DeathStar> <Stooge> I tried ma'am. *he replies* I'll get someone to chase her
<Kaelan> * Luci stares at it sullenly and shakes her head, instead of answering she despondently gets up and heads out that way to observe. Seriously considering new lines of work.
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> "And when you are done with that, get me the manifest for that flight and the hangar's security footage."
<DeathStar> 6* The woman who chatted with Chelsea turns to look as the Corporate people begin to enter the space port hangers, waving tazer weapons
<DeathStar> <Corporate Security> You will all comply and surrender
<DeathStar> 6* Max meanwhile would see a crack in the north wall
<DeathStar> 6* It's not big, but it leads outside
<kalonZombie> 6Max tries toi squeezer through
<DeathStar> 6* The shuttle pilot, seeing Corporate security coming aftr him, begins to dump his cargo, including Vyvy
<AquaKoala> *Otto is still just seated, eyes closed
<Kaelan> * Luci takes her car, landing some distance away to watch and make up her mind, gritting her teeth a bit as she does.
<DeathStar> 6* Likely carrying illegal containers
<DeathStar> 6* Max makes it through after a tight fit. Otto would find himself lifted up and cuffed
<AquaKoala> *Otto eyes them slowly, "Right side jacket pocket"
<Sara> * Chelsea notices how bad this looks and hides in the shadows, figuring she can find a chance to get out if she must.
<DeathStar> 6* Chelsea would see Corporate security moving toward her location, searching
<DeathStar> 6* Then the pilot zooms onward for Geyze with Vyvy, who likely barely hung in there, flying over a forest with the back doors open
<DeathStar> 6* The Corporate agent eyes Otto, then checks it
<Sara> * Chelsea blends into the shadows with her Shadow Rogue mod and looks for a way out as she moves
<DeathStar> 6* Chelsea would notice to the west the fence is weak and one could push it over and get out
<AquaKoala> *Inside is a Marcoss corporate security badge, for someone higher up in the corporation
<Sara> * Chelsea does so
<DeathStar> 6* The woman protests her treatment as she is led off into the back of a van, while Max and Chelsea escape. Luci would watch them get piled into the van. "I-I am from up top. My shuttle got re-directed."
<kalonZombie> 6*Max moves along, sighing
<DeathStar> 6* The Corporate man leads Otto along. "We'll check out your identity."
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> "Are we done here?"
<AquaKoala> *Otto nods "Of course, it's your job"
<Kaelan> * Luci sighs and starts making some quick changes to her vehicle, covering the registration marks and turning on the window tints. She frowns as she keeps watching and after seeing two og them get out, she considers a way to help some others get out. "I think I'm done working for dirtbags..."
<DeathStar> <Corporation Man> We have cleared the space port and got the footage. But unfortunately the shuttle dropped his cargo. The target is dead we think.
<Sara> * Chelsea sighs to herself. "Years of barely ever getting caught and it almost happens at a space port."
<DeathStar> <Corporation Man> We'll detain it at the shuttle port on Geyze just to make sure she isn't on board
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> "Get feet on the ground and account for the dropped cargo before the locals get into it."
<DeathStar> 6* The Kira-lookalike gets a message that a fall wouldn't kill the target, but that they have to be careful on Geyze and where it fell. To verify the exact location it fell.
<DeathStar> 6* The shuttle flies over a Dark Forest on it's way to the Hapian shuttle port
<Kaelan> * Luci peers over the man hauling Otto and checks the daylight, then, pulling out her shield, she starts reflecting the light towards the man, perhaps distracting Otto's captor a moment, or just being a pest.
<AquaKoala> *Otto's identity checks out, Otto having the owner of the badge somewhere he will never be found
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> "The target is certified to survive a fall from a shuttle. I need those feet on the ground."
<DeathStar> 6* The people are driven off, while the man holds onto Otto and then lets him go
<DeathStar> 6* The report comes back that the cargo fell in the Daemon lands and they cannot go in there due to the Hapian treaties not going that far. Kiralookalike is called back and just to get the shuttle pilot and make him talk
<AquaKoala> *Otto fixes his suit "I'm not much a fan of the rough treatment"
<DeathStar> 6* And if she is in the shuttle stupidly, catch her there
<Sara> * Chelsea sends a message to her partner of the time, a guy named Bourbon, figuring it may be time to do another job
<Kaelan> * LUci shrugs and gets in her car, driving to another vantage point, perhaps passing Chelsea or Max.
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> "Then bring in that pilot."
<DeathStar> 6* The shuttle lands and agents on the ground throw the pilot out and move to search the shuttle
<DeathStar> 6* The pilot protesting innocence
<kalonZombie> 6*Max looks nonchalant as he looks for a place to get plastered in
<DeathStar> 6* The agents on the ground finish searching the shuttle, then radio back that Vyvy is not in the shuttle to Kira-look alike
<DeathStar> -TIME JUMP-
<DeathStar> Date: January 6th
<DeathStar> 6* A news tag goes out to those in the line of work for jobs from the Tech Corporation. Luci would get it first, though likely Max and Otto also receive it. Luci would find out that everyone was supposedly released from the Space Port inncident, but having been there herself, the numbers do not match up. One number seems off.
<DeathStar> 6* The job request is at the space port the incident occurred.
<DeathStar> 6* And supposedly pays well - half up front, half upon completion
<kalonZombie> 6*Max heads there, drinking some water to fight a hangover
<AquaKoala> *Otto takes it immediately and heads for it from his shack
<Kaelan> * Luci heads there, yawning a bit, dressed less casually than she will in the future, in her work attire as she arrives.
<DeathStar> 6* A Corporation man is there, holding a chart. Standing by the Kira-lookalike from before.
<DeathStar> <Corporate Tool> This everyone? Alright.
<AquaKoala> *Otto eyes him
<Kaelan> * Luci is less thrilled now, but still, work is work.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max looks around. When he sees Luci... he doesn't think twice about it.
<DeathStar> <Corporate Tool> We want you to go after a killer. She killed a Corporation President's daughter. *He holds up a picture of Vyvy*
<DeathStar> <Corporate Tool> You will be going down to Geyze in area's we don't have treaties. We last tracked her beginning to enter Daemon territory. Bring her in alive.
<DeathStar> 6* Corporate Tool points at the shuttle
<DeathStar> <Tool> You will be taken down to the surface now.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max starts heading for it.
<Kaelan> Luci> "Hope you know my offworld fee." *she says, knowing they do if they contacted her, she heads along for it*
<AquaKoala> *Otto eyes the others and climbs on
<DeathStar> 6* The shuttle flies down slowly and lands not at the space port by near the Daemon lands, easing off the throttle
<DeathStar> 6* The woods before them.
<Kaelan> Luci> "Ho boy."
<kalonZombie> <Max> Eh. I've been in worse.
<Kaelan> Luci> "Landing outside the spaceport means we'd better avoid locals because this is probably not sanctioned."
<kalonZombie> <Max> They did say they didn't have treaties.
<DeathStar> 6* The pilot gets out with them with a large gun and goes into the woods
<DeathStar> <Pilot> Come on, kids
<kalonZombie> 6*Max follows
<DeathStar> 6* He walks through the dark woods, with beautiful mushrooms that glow and vines with flowers all over them and pixies that fly about
<AquaKoala> *Otto stalks through, looking at home
<DeathStar> 6* The pilot tracks Vyvy slowly, following the tracks silently
<Kaelan> * Luci follows quiet as a mouse.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max stalks as well, looking close enough to home that there's no real difference
<DeathStar> 6* Soon, they find Vyvy up in a meadow, seemingly asleep
<DeathStar> 6* The pilot puts a finger to his lips and puts ahead. "There she is. The prey is all tuckered out."
<kalonZombie> <Max> I could sneak up on her if you let me.
<kalonZombie> 6*He says quietly
<DeathStar> <Pilot> Be my quest
<Kaelan> * LUci eyes Max incredulously.
<feather> * Vyvy's tracks meandered, like she had a concussion at first, but quickly straightened out heading for the meadow. Right before the clearing they strangely stopped... but there she is, lying down.
<kalonZombie> 6*He moves to step behind a tree for privacy, then a tiger starts slowly moving its way towards Vyvy
<AquaKoala> *Otto aims through his rifle
<DeathStar> 6* The pilot chews bubblegum while flirting with Kirawannabe
<kalonZombie> 6*Max moves closer to Vyvy slowly
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> "I'm not impressed."
<kalonZombie> 6*Max, once he feels he's close enough, pounces in to grab Vyvy and bring her in alive
<feather> * Vyvy rolls to the side, uncovering a hole filled with brimming with spire-worthy spikes
<DeathStar> 6* Meanwhile, the area grows a little darker. The pilot turns as the fight begins
<DeathStar> <Pilot> Clever girl
<AquaKoala> *Otto fores a tranq dart at her head
<AquaKoala> Fires*
<Kaelan> * Luci frowns, putting a hand out, a shield grows over the pit to save Max.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max lands on the shield and pounces for Vyvy again, roaring
<feather> * Vyvy jerks as she takes the shot to the head-- turning. The dart stuck above her left eye, which is crudely wrapped with scraps of cloth and soaked in blood-- she plucks it out, throwing it at Max as she leaps back, wobbling for a moment then seems to steady. The spikes in the hole disappearing as she is no longer close to it. It's clear she isn't just a normal human or so.
<kalonZombie> 6*Max tanks the dart since most of the tranquilizer is likely in Vyvy now. He circles around her carefully, growling
<DeathStar> 6* The pilot goes to fire his gun, a huge beam erupting down the middle
<DeathStar> 6* He falls on his ass
<AquaKoala> *Otto racks another tranq dart and fires a second at her head, in the trees somewhere
<kalonZombie> 6*Max leaps away from the beam
<Kaelan> * LUci frowns and grumbles, shield out, she seems to be doing what she does best, keeping the rest alive.
<feather> <Vyvy> ... ..." She pants, slouching for a moment, then brings her hand over to her left, her fingers literally clawing into her skin and she seem to rouse a bit, losing her wobble, turning and lashing out at the incoming dart, frying it with energy from her fingertips acting like claws, circling with Max.
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> *looks at the pilot* "Seriously?" *pulls out a pistol and takes at Vyvy before squeezing off a shot*
<Jackieness> + takes aim at
<feather> * She widens her visible eye at the beam and leaps to roll along the ground and miss as much as possible, but part of being fried across the ribs and side, her cloak being torn to shreds.
<kalonZombie> 6*While Vyvy is distracted Max pounces at her again
<DeathStar> 6* At that moment, dark tendrils come out of the trees and grab the group
<feather> * Vyvy punches Max in the side of the head, then starts ferally clawing at his sides and back, the energy from her fingertips acting like blades, the energy lingering like a caustic acid as she screams, half girl-half animal herself. The wounds to her side visibly beginning to close, though not her clothing
<Kaelan> * Luci moves in now, her armor forming and a shard blade appearing before she's stopped, squeaking.
<feather> <Vyvy> Let go, let go! LETGOLETGOLETGOLETGO!
<AquaKoala> *Otto hopes his hiding spot in the tree saved him, but goes limp if not
<DeathStar> 6* While Vyvy is wrapped up in a caccoon like a child, wrapping her up gently and dropping her in a nearby gushing river
<DeathStar> 6* A cool voice speaks. "You are in my territory fighting. You will go now before I get angry." 6* She tosses them down
<kalonZombie> 6*Max the tiger thrashes about, biting and clawing at the tentacles, not liking this one bit... but also not wanting to be nude in front of total strangers
<feather> <Vyvy> Ga--rggrhrrlll... rruuaghh..!" She gasps, gargling and thrashing wildly, being swept away
<kalonZombie> 6*His clothes hidden behind a tree
<DeathStar> 6* The pilot grunts as he hits the ground
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> *hits the ground and rolls on to her feet* "...anyone got a bead on the target?"
<DeathStar> 6* The pilot glares at the forest, knowing at the speed of the river they will never catch Vyvy now
<DeathStar> <Pilot> Gone. And I don't think we can continue with the very forest attacking
<Kaelan> Luci> "What the heck was that thing?"
<feather> * Where Vyvy was lying initially, lies a high-calibur round, showing signs of impact.
<Jackieness> <Kira-Lookalike> "Alright, exec decision. We're pulling out!"
<feather> * It glints near Max.
<DeathStar> 6* The pilot pockets his gun, spitting and moves on
<AquaKoala> *Otto is already heading back for the shuttle
<kalonZombie> 6*Max ignores it, going back behind the tree and coming out dressed a few moments later
<Kaelan> * Luci sighs and heads for the shuttle.
<kalonZombie> <Max> We're still getting paid for this, right?
<Kaelan> Luci> I know I am, you should get a good lawyer to write up contract forms.
<DeathStar> 6* The vines pick up the object silently
<DeathStar> <Pilot> You were paid half up front
<DeathStar> <Pilot> Be happy
<DeathStar> -TIME JUMP-
<DeathStar> January 15th
<DeathStar> 6* The one person from the space port that is missing seems to have been retroactively made missing and the clues to find out which passenger is now gone. It is night time and Luci would no doubt be on duty driving around various middle level buildings, such as the one that Jelly is working in late. The same one that Chelsea is scooping out to rob, wanting to make up time after the awful day the other week. Inside the lame office is a statue worth a lot of money that Jelly's boss bought
<Sara> <Chelsea> Some people just don't care how they spend their money, eh...
<Stretch> 3"Silly guys, can't code worth a damn..." 6his fingers are fast at work inputting regular code into a large display, his tail swishing behind him in irritation.
<Stretch> 3"They spend days trying to get this stuff done, hand it off to me and I have to fix it." 6He reaches over and grabs a drink, continuing the re-coding with his other hand.
<Sara> * Chelsea glances at her partner at the time, Bourbon -- a scarred old were-tiger who isn't exactly the nicest guy around. She stays out of the view of cameras, annoyed by their presence
<DeathStar> 6* At the space port, a terminal with footage of last week's raid, a person downloads it and prepares to store it, unbeknowst to the corporations, putting the files in a dusty old room
<DeathStar> 6* Bourbon jimmies open a window and slips inside, avoiding the cameras and uses his tail to signal Chelsea
<Sara> * Chelsea follows in behind, biting her lip. "They spend all this money on these expensive decorations and they don't even bother to protect them. It's their own fault."
<DeathStar> <Bourbon> All these business people are the same. They want to compete with the Corporations
<DeathStar> 6* He walks along the floor, and Jelly would hear the faintest sound on the ceiling above him
<DeathStar> 6* As Bourbon navigates the cameras over to the pedestal with the statue, seeing if it is pressure sensitive
<Sara> <Chelsea> They'll have to do better than just decorating... *she moves crouched, looking under a nearby desk*
<DeathStar> 6* There is a tiny switch
<Stretch> 6Jelly looks over at the side display, noting the window trip indicator. 3"Great, something else to take up my time..." 6He'll sigh and flip out the 'acknowledge' status and move to head upstairs.
<Sara> <Chelsea> 'sides. Corps have sturdier windows. Hey, I think this might be the panic button?
<Sara> * Chelsea shakes her head. "Nah, this isn't a bank..."
<Sara> * She glances to see if it's hooked up to anything obvious
<DeathStar> 6* It seems to go to a wall
<DeathStar> 6* Jelly would come up to the boss' office, shut
<Sara> * Chelsea shrugs. "Maybe it really is a panic button. These guys have a weird setup... Almost too easy, though."
<DeathStar> 6* Bourbon gets the statue after disabling the pressure plate
<DeathStar> <Bourbon> Couldn't be as cliched as a hidden room behind the wall?
<DeathStar> 6* He ponders, squinting
<Sara> <Chelsea> Heh. You know what? We've got the statue now, let's have a look. *she flips it*
<DeathStar> 6* The wall slides open, revealing rare diamonds and paintings - some that might even be black market stuff
<DeathStar> 6* Bourbon whistles
<DeathStar> 6* Jelly would hear voices on the other side
<Stretch> 6Jelly will look at the door quizically, pushing on it slightly after swiping his access card.
<Sara> * Chelsea walks over to the diamonds, bagging them
<DeathStar> 6* Bourbon turns as Jelly enters
<Sara> * Chelsea frowns, focused on getting as much as she can before she turns with a single knife in her left hand. "Company, is it."
<Stretch> 3"Who's in here?" 6His tail twitching slightly.
<DeathStar> 6* Bourbon moves behind the door silently, motioning Chelsea to grab and run
<Sara> * Chelsea nods and lowers the diamonds and a couple of paintings out of the window in the bag, dropping them in a bush, then hops out behind them
<DeathStar> 6* Bourbon slams the door against Jelly hard, trying just to disorient him then takes off
<Stretch> 6Jelly gets knocked back from the door, slamming into the wall on the far side of the hallway.
<Sara> <Chelsea> Wasn't even a guard, was it? Man, this guy spent so much on such fancy stuff and all we get is some sort of clerk.
<DeathStar> 6* Bourbon moves, peering around and eyeing Luci's vehicle on the ground
<DeathStar> <Bourbon> Who works this late?!
<Sara> <Chelsea> Call girls. *she answers seriously to the rhetorical question*
<DeathStar> 6* Bourbon throws a rock at Luci's windshield, angling it from the direction of the building, figuring if she is smart enough maybe the clerk will get help, then grabs the goods to help Chelsea drag it off
<DeathStar> 6* Of course, she never did find the video logs before they were archived away to try to find the missing person, so Jelly likely laid there all night long

<DeathStar> April 30th, 5997
<DeathStar> 6* Terran Maxwell leans back, eyeing his daughter in a cyrogenic chamber due to a rare disease that has no cure, tired of all the scientists telling him otherwise. On a screen is the work for Mark IX, the latest test subject taken recently from a raid a while back
<DeathStar> 6* His wife, a cat fauna, hugs him as they stare at their daughter. <Terran> ... there is no cure but maybe if we can harvest her healthy genes before they began to go bad. I am going to create a biotect with her DNA like we plan with the Mark IX. A twin sister essentially and use her genetics to repair Ymir's."
<DeathStar> 6* Terran leans back and begins to work up the Ylva Project
