<DeathStar> 6* The Academy's classes are divided into three parts typically throughout the day - students train with their Tamae during the day, based on what their speciality is. During mid-day there is lessons with the Academy's handpicked teachers, like Lu who teach them the goals of the Academy and diplomacy and other education that Isis and Miyuki feel is important. And finally the early afternoon is typically self-study hours, with Isis and Shion working hard to get the various Kingdoms to send texts to fill their librarys, the Academy getting a rather impressive library
<DeathStar> 6* With late evenings given to be free time to interact, and encouraged to do so, with the various students. During the Mid-day, students are grouped into classes and are typically grouped together not based on Tamae, so you will have a mix of students, since Miyu and Isis know the end goal will be the units
<DeathStar> 6* And when the weekend comes, the students are given free time to do whatever they want, as long as they are back by the beginning of classes at the start of class days. Some students claim to have gone to the space port to even go up to Kumen

<DeathStar> 6* Qui nibbles on a sandwich, feeding the animals in the jungle as students prepare their plans for the weekend, many of the braver ones planning to go to the spaceport. She hides in the forest, watching the amazon students walk by. Lu folds up paperwork after finishing a class
<DeathStar> 6* Shion quietly observes the students from the grounds, blending in well due to her youngish age, knowing she will be thought of as a student
<Seraphna> * Alita reads through another book, seeming to be in a race with Shion and Isis' attempts to fill a library by reading them.

<DeathStar> 6* A Hapian bumps into Alita, sniffing. "And what is a daemon doing in here? I'm surprised you can even read."

<Seraphna> * Alita blinks a little. "Huh? Why wouldn't we be able to read?"

<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Hoo hoo hoo. It can breathe without using its mouth.

<Seraphna> * Alita looks at the woman as though a bit lost. "I'm not finished with this book yet."
<Seraphna> Alita> "I was unaware that humans had a distinct sense of smell... is that common?"
<DeathStar> <Hapian Woman> *Twitches* Are you mocking me, little monster?
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Alita, sweetie, she's insulting us. Poorly.
<Seraphna> Alita> "Monster? Are there monsters in here?" *she peers around*
<DeathStar> <Hapian woman> *she leans in close to Alita* I won't forget this. You should learn your place and stay in the woods like others of your kind

<Seraphna> * Alita blinks when she leans in and wafts out pheramones when she gets too close, shy.
<DeathStar> 6* Shion mingles amongst the students, watching as a group of them try to pool their coins together to buy a shuttle ticket
<Seraphna> * Alita looks even more confused too. "We... lived by the ocean... right?"
<DeathStar> 6* Qui holds onto a small animal in her hands as she walks along, passing Sasha and Liana without looking up
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Yes Alita. Yes we did. 6*She smiles and cuddles up with Alita, loving the fact that she's so dense
<DeathStar> 6* Lu finishes grading papers and moves to her office for talking hours
<Seraphna> Alita> "Was that girl upset? I didn't take her book did I?"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *closes her book and rises to her feet, smoothing out her skirt with one hand*
<Nyaomi> 6Vyvy bumps into the woman leaving, and glances slowly up at her; coldly.
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> No, she's just a racist cunt who doesn't like us.
<Seraphna> * Alita pouts. "What did we do?"
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Be daemons.
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Don't let her get to you.
<Seraphna> Alita> "I see..." *she tucks her wings in a little* "I will try not... I might have dosed her though... think she will be okay?"
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia giggles
<DeathStar> <Hapian Woman> Oh look, more rejected daemon trash. Do you bark for them, you heathen wannabe>
<DeathStar> 6* She pushes past
<DeathStar> 6* Isis sips her tea, peering out at the students as they go off to do things. Some make a bonfire to get ready for night, planning to tell spirit stories
<DeathStar> 6* They have a sign up inviting anyone to their spirit story night
<Chainy> 6*Miyuki sips her tea as well
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ... Are you talking to me?
<Seraphna> * Alita rises to collect a few more books to tide her over for the next... day.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> .. I'm a demon?" She looks to herself confused, then eyes the woman, holding her eyepatch. "..."
<DeathStar> 6* The woman sniffs, as if one who rolls with the daemons is good enough to be one
<DeathStar> 6* Storming off to her dorm
<DeathStar> <Isis> I never told stories around a bonfire now that I think about it
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *starts moving back toward her own drom*
<Seraphna> * Alita looks over at the doors, shrugging. "Maybe we should go somewhere else to read if we upset people..."
<DeathStar> 6* Qui advances on the bonfire and sits. The kids there begin to tell talltales of the spirits and where they come from
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy shrugs, silently walking onward without retorting
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> No. We'll stay wherever we want.
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Don't let people like her bully you, Alita.
<Chainy> <Miyuki> I always did, and you were scared and clung to me
<DeathStar> 6* A Daemon goes first, telling the story of where Shade came from. "I hear that Shade came from a dark ocean, rising from it to devour all that is evil in the world, hence becoming the Dark Spirit. Now she seeks bad boys and girls, and will devour them whole!!"
<DeathStar> 6* A few students, who have never seen Shade, gasp
<DeathStar> <Isis> Huff
<Seraphna> Alita> "Mmm, I'm not really. But maybe we need some fresh air."
<DeathStar> 6* Qui peeks over a log at the kids
<Sara> * Liana listens in, always one for stories
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Maybe that story bonfire will have some cute boys.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ... That's not true.
<Seraphna> Alita> "Didn't we have one this morning?" *she sounds like she's unsure, Ceilia being far more voracious*

<Seraphna> Alita> "Oh... well maybe." *she blinks, unsure why she feels fine then, but begins carrying the books out*
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia follows, wrapping an arm around one of Alita's
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "You should control your urges lest they be used against you." *spoken as she passes by the Lilin sisters*

<Seraphna> Alita> "Mmm? Oh... it's... Miss..." *she looks at Sasha* "Sabetour... Sasha?"

<DeathStar> 6* The daemon storytellers peers at Vyvy
<DeathStar> <Daemon Girl> Huh?
<DeathStar> 6* Qui looks at Vyvy curiously, leaning forward
<DeathStar> 6* Lu eats tiny bone shaped treats
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *continues walking, without a further word to the pair*
<DeathStar> 6* A few students lean forward, not the bonfire ones, whispering how Sasha is so stuck up and never talks, and doesn't have friends. No clue about who she is
<Chainy> 6*Miyuki rubs Isis's ears
<Sara> * Liana peeks around at the bonfire students, though not very closely
<DeathStar> 6* Isis sits on her lap, peering at Lu's compatibility lists so far - they may change in the future. Looking to possible units
<Seraphna> Alita> "Strange." *she says without any sense of irony and moves on*
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Yeah. Oh well.
<DeathStar> 6* No doubt in the distance Mykel is hanging upside down in a tree. Why? Who knows. But it explains where he is
<DeathStar> 6* The daemon girl shrugs, turning back to the story telling group
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ... I just mean... master's not like that.
<Chainy> <Miyuki> whats the pairings
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy sits crosslegged, listening silently.
<DeathStar> <Group Leader> Well, tell us your story then
<DeathStar> <Group Leader> You make it sound like you know the Dark Spirit
<DeathStar> <Isis> Right now it's tentative but she wants to see more of the Sasha royality girl with Qui, to see if they can do more together, as well as two Lilins who need discipline
<DeathStar> <Isis> If any more people stand out, we will know later
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I shouldn't..? Master is master. Of course I know her...
<DeathStar> *a few kids eye each other as if Vyvy is a strange one*
<DeathStar> <Group Leader> Right, anyone else have any spirit stories?
<Seraphna> * Alita wanders over to the fire, setting the books down a safe distance.
<DeathStar> 6* Another student goes, telling the story of Gnome
<Chainy> <Miyuki> discipline?
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia sits next to Alita, looking out for people
<DeathStar> "It is said that Gnome being the EArth Spirit created Geyze. But theo ther spirits were jealous so they took her power away, and so they drained her age away and she ended up a child. When draining her power away, it caused the creation of Kumen, the sister planet."
<DeathStar> <Isis> It just notes the two are still rather childish
<DeathStar> 6* Qui leans in close to Vyvy curiously
<Chainy> <Miyuki> I'll ask Shion for an assessment and look over their instructor notes
<DeathStar> <Qui> *sniffing her*
<Sara> * Liana looks curious at the story
<DeathStar> 6* The other students oooo
<DeathStar> <One Younger Student> I always heard Aska made Geyze. That her purity of spirit created the other spirits and Geyze. and that Shade made Kumen, the dead world, and jealously coveted Aska's light
<Seraphna> * Alita tilts her head a bit at that story.
<DeathStar> 6* This sends a few students argue debating why a dark spirit would want light
<Stretch> 6Mykel is actually making his way towards the Academy grounds carrying a bag over his shoulder.
<DeathStar> 6* Isis nods
<Seraphna> Alita> "I do not think any spirit would have an inherent jealousy over another's element."
<Seraphna> Alita> "That implies that any single element is truly better than another."
<DeathStar> 6* Mykel is told he is too late, classes began two months ago. He causes a time paradox as he is sent away
<DeathStar> 6* He is given a date when they will begin classes next year
<Seraphna> Alita> "In fact, you cannot have light without darkness, and no darkness without light to cast a shadow... like all of the elements, they are balanced, bound to a cycle and a wheel."
<DeathStar> <One student> Well, of course light is better. It is holy
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *places her books away in her dorm room and then leaves again*
<DeathStar> <Student> Why would you want to be evil?
<Seraphna> Alita> "Light is light, holiness is a quality people give something."
<DeathStar> 6* The student eyes Alita
<Seraphna> Alita> "Darkness is not evil, it is darkness, an absence of light."
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy eyes Qui, raising an eyebrow.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> .. Yes?
<Seraphna> Alita> "Is the darkness inside a cupboard evil? The blackness of a slate used for chalkboards? Darkness is simply a quality, in the same way fire is simply fire or water water. We breath air, but it does not have an inherent personality trait."
<Stretch> 6Mykel will simply reply that he's not going anywhere, that he has nowhere to go even, so the only option is for them to let him enter the grounds.
<DeathStar> <Student> I am a summoni. Aska has holy powers
<DeathStar> <Student> Holiness is good
<Seraphna> Alita> "She has the element of light, it is you who decides that it is holy."
<Seraphna> Alita> "And therefore you who are inherently good yourself, making the light good."
<DeathStar> <Student> *rises, angry* She is the spirit of good. Of course a daemon of the darkness would try to bad mouth her
<DeathStar> 6* A few of the Hapian students glare and walk off
<Seraphna> Alita> "I am of FIre."
<Seraphna> * Alita holds out her hand, summoning flame in it.
<DeathStar> 6* He just gives her a gesture that is rude. "You live in Shade's land. Move to the Legion if you wish for me to care."
<Seraphna> Alita> "Are you implying Salamander only has power in the Legion?"
<Sara> * Liana listens quietly, pondering the idea of whether light is good and darkness evil
<Seraphna> ALita> "I live here at the academy.." *she tilts her head a bit, seeming to not get it*
<Seraphna> Alita> "Flame can give life or destroy it... so is it good or evil?"
<Seraphna> Alita> "Water can sustain the living, we all come from water inside... yet water can also smother, flood, destroy..."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *notes the bonfire circle starting to break up unusually early into the evening*
<Seraphna> Alita> "Earth is solid, unmoving, unbreaking, supporting life... yet when it moves it can break everything apart..."
<DeathStar> 6* those who remain sigh since the mood is ruined, putting out the fire
<Seraphna> * Alita looks at it, unaware she's ruined the mood, seeming in an academic trance.
<DeathStar> <Student> The fire main elements are not like the moral elements
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia frowns
<DeathStar> <Student> You would think a student who studies as much as you
<DeathStar> <Student> Would know that
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> So petty." She murmurs.
<DeathStar> 6* He walks off, hands in pocket
<Seraphna> Alita> "Morality is not an element."
<Seraphna> Alita> "It is a way of thinking... my studies have shown philosophy isn't an element of magic... it's simply something we apply to it..."
<Seraphna> * Alita muses, channeling some healing energy, probably seen as holy in her fingertips. "They claim I'm from darkness... but I heal... what does that mean?"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *spoken from just outside the circle after approaching* "You speak to an audience of one. You need to learn tact."
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> It means they don't know you.
<Seraphna> * Alita looks up, blinking. "...Huh? Oh... everyone left..."
<Seraphna> Alita> "Maybe I do... umm... Miss Sasha again... I should get a book on tact..."
<DeathStar> 6* Qui sits there, studying them all curiously
<DeathStar> <Qui> *she gives Vyvy a smile, looking cute* You are interesting.
<DeathStar> 6* Qui moves off, first time she's spoken outside teachers
<Seraphna> * Alita looks over at Vyvy. "...I think I meant, by all this... I agree that Shade is not Evil."
<Seraphna> Alita> "Shade is Darkness, but Darkness itself is not evil... simply darkness."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> The argument doesn't matter...
<Stretch> 6Mykel waits for the steward to respond one way or another.
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy glances after Qui, blinking once.
<Seraphna> Alita> "I... suppose not. It appears no one wants to hear such a thing."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *raises a hand* "A philosopher said that perception is reality. You have just challenged the perceptions of many people today. I would sleep with one eye open in the event that somneone chooses to act stupidly."
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> What we need is a bodyguard. ... A big, hunky bodyguard...
<Seraphna> Alita> *she tilts her head* "Maybe then because we choose to believe Darkness is evil, it becomes evil."
<Seraphna> * Alita seems back in her little academic daydream. "Interesting prospect... I'll have to talk to my Tamae leader about a study project on such a notion..."
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy makes a face at mention of a bodyguard and gets up, dusting herself.
<Seraphna> Alita> "SHe has a strong will, maybe the lady Vyvy can stay with us. She is cute."
<DeathStar> 6* Shion watches all this, then eyes Mykel outside, who has already left him alone
<DeathStar> 6* Shion moves up to Miyuki
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> That sounds like a good idea.
<DeathStar> <Shion> We have a two month late student outside
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy starts to leave
<DeathStar> <Shion> What should we do with him?
<DeathStar> <Shion> It's the Kaiser's nephew
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *turns and walks away now that she has said her piece*
<Seraphna> ALita> "Ms. Vyvy!"
<Chainy> <Miyuki> bring him to my tent
<DeathStar> 6* Shion sends Lu out to get Miyuki, motioning him to follow her to Miyuki's tent

<Chainy> <Miyuki> looks like I get to try out my leathers
<Chainy> 6*Miyuki cracks her fingers
<Stretch> 6Mykel will shift the bag over his shoulder and nod silently, moving after her.

<Sara> * Liana returns to her training, doing a kata
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> .. Yes?
<DeathStar> 6* Lu leads him to the location of the small tent - nevermind Miyu has a huge top floor with a balcony to look down on the peasants - I mean students

<Chainy> 6*Miyuki cups Isis's chin and kisses her hard
<DeathStar> 6* Isis returns the kiss, leg lifting
<Chainy> <Miyuki> dont worry, it will be platonic for them, and punishing

<Seraphna> Alita> "WE need a bodyguard tonight against... apparently stupidity. Will you stay with us? I have treats."
<DeathStar> 6* The hapian female has broken into Alita's room and sets up to ruin all of Alita's classbooks, but times it so when she opens them in class on Monday, they will fall apart. She cackles, leaning forward to do it, hoo hooing
<Stretch> 6Mykel will step inside, looking immediately for who is present; eyeing the two women pawing at each other.

<Chainy> 6*and the other is reaffirming her love for her wife, jerk
<Chainy> 6 F in all subjects

<DeathStar> 6* She sits on the balcony with her tea
<Seraphna> * Alita rises with her books and motions Vyvy to follow if she likes, flashing chocolate. SHe heads for her room, likely with Ceilia.

<Chainy> <Miyuki> now then, perhaps we need to reaffirm who I am
<DeathStar> 6* The woman goes to put some gum she got from Kumen in the book, then uses scissors to cut the bindings just right. She jerks hearing humming and the dumb walking of Alita and hides in the closet
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ... I suppose.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia stretches, flopping on her, and Alita's, bed
<Seraphna> * Alita steps inside and puts the books down. She peers around, pausing as she does. "My books are out of place."
<Chainy> <Miyuki> but as headmistress, I'm more interested in where you have been
<DeathStar> 6* Isis peers down at the tent with her binoculars
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Maybe you just put them in different spots?
<Stretch> 6Mykel is standing quietly just inside the entry of the tent; 12"excuse me ma'am?"
<DeathStar> <Lu> Your un-- *she pauses, realizing Mykel doesn't know who the Kaiser is to him*
<DeathStar> 6* Lu leans intoward Miyuki, whispering
<DeathStar> <Lu> Something must have happened
<Seraphna> * Alita shakes her head. "You know I never forget my books." *she moves to look them over, and the room starts growing warm when she sees the damage*
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> What's wrong?
<Chainy> <Miyuki> 6*whisper* 1 what do you mean
<Seraphna> Alita> "My magical theory book's bindings have been cut. And this page is half open with gum."
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia blinks, then makes a face "Who's been in here?"
<DeathStar> <Lu> Well, he doesn't know the Kaiser is to him, the Kaiser made that clear. and the Kaiser wanted to send him here right away. So something must have happened that he could not send him right away without revealing their connection
<Seraphna> * Alita peers around, first looking under the beds.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia heads over to the closet
<DeathStar> 6* The hapian woman hides in their clothing, hanging there
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia hmmms, looking closer inside
<DeathStar> 6* Ceilia sees a hand
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia pumps the closet full of pheremones
<Chainy> 6*Miyuki sighs and shakes her head
<Seraphna> Alita> "Nothing here... mmm? Found something?"
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Get out of the closet and sit on the bed.
<DeathStar> 6* The Hapian woman steps out, sniffs and moves for the door
<DeathStar> <Hapian Woman> As if I would listen to you
<Seraphna> * Alita shifts in her eyes, eyes red in anger.
<Seraphna> Alita> "Sit. On. The. Bed."
<DeathStar> 6* Lu leans in on MYkel. "Tell us everything on why you came and what happened."
<DeathStar> 6* The woman jerks and sits slowly, trembling in fear.
<Seraphna> * Alita's wings go wide.
<DeathStar> <Woman> F-Fine. T-This time.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ... What are you doing?" She peers at Alita
<DeathStar> 6* Later the next day, the Hapian woman is forced to publically apologize. And Vyvy is set to follow Qui
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Give me one good reason why we shouldn't go to the headmistress about this.
