<Sara> * Erica dons a suit as necessary as well, though with some reluctance. She never can get used to these kinds of things.
<Seraphna> * Cookie meets up with those heading into the hangar, fitting herself into her tactical suit.

<Stretch> 6Thankfully, Kaylin was already in her tac-gear and doesn't need a breathable atmosphere.

<DeathStar> 6* Ry'lon just puts on a face mask, tough as nails. He steps outside and begins to look shakey.

<Seraphna> * Cookie hops out, stretching, twintails flying around in the wind.
<DeathStar> 6* The city looks to be in alright shape, but the sandstorm is definitely wearing it down. The crops, that are left, are wrapped up

<Stretch> 6Kaylin will follow along, moving over to Cookie's side trying to move into an upwind position to act as a wind block for her.
<DeathStar> 6* Kre'trav enters a tavern like building, where the residents turn to eye them, many wearing cloaks and hats, as well as advanced face wear
<Seraphna> * Cookie isn't breathing in, so... she spits it out.

<Nyaomi> * Saoirse moves in wearing workout clothes, having stopped hitching a ride on Erica, glancing around

<Sara> * Erica pulls her own mask down and smirks at Ry'lon, before peering around at the room
<DeathStar> 6* Airym's scans finally begin to get some scans. It reads that it is very dusty

<DeathStar> 6* Airym must have some dust in her scanners too, who knows
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor checks his datapad, which he weatherproofed
<Sara> <Erica> <I wonder if the drinks are made of dust too.>
<Stretch> 6Kaylin's hair is tied back, so her elven ears are clearly visible; her tail is hidden beneath her tac-vest.

<Sara> * Erica gives a blank, "really?" type expression
<Sara> <Erica> What happened here? Was it always like this?
<DeathStar> <Erusian female> Crops won't grow. Only supplies being delivered work anymore. Tell us you brought our weekly supplies
<DeathStar> <Tsivrixsh> About a month ago a storm raged through and then the dust storms began
<DeathStar> *he shrugs indifferently, nursing his drink*
<DeathStar> <Tsivrixsh> They last about 3 or 4 days, then stop
<Sara> * Erica glances back at the others.
<AquaKoala> Little> It's soil erosion, probably
<Stretch> 6Kaylin's face is blank, as she watches the room for any signs of hostility.
<Sara> <Erica> Easy to say that, but it could be... caused by distortion...
<AquaKoala> Little> That's why I said probably
<Seraphna> Cookie> "All dust storms, no normal rain?"
<Sara> * Erica scans for any signs of distortion. Of course it probably just results in more readings of 'dusty'
<Jackieness> <Airym> "How long has it been since the current storm began?"
<Chainy> 6*Kitty leans into Gor and whispers
<DeathStar> <Erusian> Not sense the initial storm
<AquaKoala> Little> Loose soil causing dust storms, and low nutrients in the ground means poor crop growth. I'll have one of the geeks check the soil *Little types on her datapad
<DeathStar> <Erusian> A month ago we said. *They eye the group like they are making fun of them*
<DeathStar> *mood degrades*
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor checks to see if there's any good soil deeper down
<Jackieness> <Airym> "You said each dust storm lasts three or four days. That is what I am referring to."
<AquaKoala> Little> And have Denise bring some food for as many as possible
<Seraphna> Cookie> "She means the current dust storm, I think."
<kalonZombie> 6*Using his datapad or equivilent thereof
<DeathStar> <Tsivrixsh> This storm? *their mood goes back to normal*
<Seraphna> Cookie> "You said storms, multiple, so she's probably trying to track the rate each storm lasts."

<DeathStar> 6* Kre'trav eyes them then leans toward them. "They seem very moody.

<Jackieness> <Airym> "Then a remaining period between one or two days. Are there any warning signs before the next dust storm occurs?"
<DeathStar> 6* The people seem aimed to pick a fight
<Sara> * Erica gives a small nod to Kre'trav. "We really do want to help, and we are serious. We've... seen what can happen to planets from strange storms."
<Stretch> 6Kaylin will move to one side, getting a bit of extra distance between them before resting her hands behind her back.
<AquaKoala> *Little sits at the bar to order a drink
<Nyaomi> * Saoirse coughs up and spits dust over in a corner.
<DeathStar> 6* They go back to their drinks. The bartender eyes Little, before giving her a drink
<AquaKoala> *Little drinks it
<Nyaomi> <Saoirse> Oh man, should have stayed blade. Haaahgh.
<DeathStar> 6* There's no sign of any reality distortions - if the thing a month ago was one, it's long ago now.
<Sara> * Erica makes an odd face, seeing her poor Saoirse. "If you guys think this planet is a lost cause, though, why are you just... sitting and waiting?"
<DeathStar> 6* But from what they've seen ones that hit the planets they have witnessed, the signals do not last but a day or two
<AquaKoala> Little> We weren't sent here with your supplies, but we have plenty of food if you and your friends and family want full atomachs.
<DeathStar> <Tsivrixsh> Supplies keep us alive. And this is our home. Plus as we said the storms only last 4 days max
<DeathStar> <Erusian> And it's only been a month. Could end one day.
<AquaKoala> Little> Just making the offer.
<kalonZombie> 6*I guess Gor finds nothing. He shakes his head at Kitty.

<Seraphna> * Cookie muses. "If it's natural... is there something we can do to get the atmospheric activity back on track?"
<DeathStar> 6* The soil on top does not match the soil the planet should have in the first place
<Jackieness> <Airym> "If we remain on the planet for long enough, once the current dust storm has ended, I can set up a scan net to gather data when the next dust storm begins."

<Sara> <Erica> I'm not sure if we have that kind of time. Things could get worse at any moment. From my data... things definitely aren't right here.

<Sara> <Erica> I agree that you're right about that. However, do you remember what happened on our last mission?

<DeathStar> 6* Kre'trav puts her mask back on, going to the ship, pleased she can help her people

<Sara> <Erica> I don't disagree, but I think the people should be prior-- *she blinks as they leave*

<Seraphna> * Cookie uses this time to get some cover and wash out her mouth, before returning to the conversation.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "A decision has been made for you, captain. I will assemble my scan net in the mean time."
<Sara> <Erica> *turning to her remaining crew* Still, if we just leave them here and wait we might be too late. I feel like evacuating would be prudent. Even on our last mission I'm sure quite a few people died.
<Stretch> 6Kaylin will stand watch quietly in the corner, waiting.
<Sara> * Erica slumps a bit and looks toward the bar patrons. "If you come with us to our ship you can have comfort while we try to figure out the problem."

<Seraphna> * Cookie muses, quietly wondering just how many people they can take.
<DeathStar> *she sips her drink, despite being like Kre'trav and higher Erusian class, she seems very barry*

<DeathStar> 6* With the current Erusians already helping to fill out their crew compliment, they can only fit 400,000 more people

<Seraphna> * Cookie sticks with the captain for now, not sure what to say.

<Sara> * Erica looks at her and blinks, but waits to see what happens

<DeathStar> 6* The bar goes back to talking, motioning at Sao, whispering about who she is and if this is legit
<Nyaomi> <Saoirse> I hate repeating myself. Anyone who has a little more umph here?
<Sara> <Erica> <I get the feeling they don't know her by name despite her familial relation to the Empress...>
<Nyaomi> <Saoirse> I mean, I just got my ass kicked by the empress, I doubt any of the sops here has the same kick to 'em.
<Sara> * Erica glances over at the crew who are sitting

<DeathStar> <Erusian> So why don't you just fly over the cities announcing you're going to pull people off the planet and take the women and children first like I said? You don't have enough room for the entire populace. I said that long ago
<Sara> <Erica> Kind of. I haven't gotten bloodied like that in a while.

<Seraphna> * Cookie stuck with Little. Always bring a bear to a bar fight.

<Sara> * Erica gives a small nod as she wipes blood from her mouth

<Stretch> 6Kaylin will stand quietly to the side...a couple of scrapes apparently, though she glances at her hands and considers the need for non-lethal ammunitions.

<Seraphna> * Cookie peers at Gor and Kitty, wondering where they're going now. She looks over at Sao. "Can't save everyone, if you try you'll fail to save anyone."
