<DeathStar> <Narrator> 3 long months have passed for the Academy team. While the headmistress had searched out the spirits where she could, things were working against her and the team. Commodus looked into his father's death, or not death, and learned that the body that was charred and barbequed was close to the body, but the size was a little off - which could have been due to the firey explosion. A specialist that did bones would be needed, like Kumen or Hapian Spirit-Tech. (cont)
<DeathStar> <Narrator> During this, minor conflicts between the Legionare and the Amazons continued, but so far full blown war had not erupted. The Kaiser continued to recover at the Daemon Capital, but was too weak to travel back home, which gave the eldest son full power so far as the oldest, the younger son still not in the picture, "off at school" according to reports. <DeathStar> <Narrator> The Hapians used this to advance their drilling in their lands, due to the conflict up north, and the other kingdoms began their own plans, due to the fact the Northern War, as it was slowly becoming known despite it not having become a full fledged war, or better yet Northern Conflict, was happening, and each Kingdom was pressing their own agendas
<DeathStar> <Narrator> Currently, located in their icy base, the Unit 6 team is set up, not at the Academy, but at the Magic/Academy Outpost that Sasha found, seeing what discoveries the mages have found, especially in light of the Rogue Magi being behind things and pushing the conflict forward
<DeathStar> <Narrator> The past 3 months so far they have been going around putting out fires, and so far not have had a chance to deal with the main ones
<DeathStar> 6* Kito peers out at the village around the tower, it rebuilt in areas now as the Magi are moving back in

<DeathStar> 6* Shion kneels next to the teleporter, working on the controls to disable the selection to the Hapian Palace, and make it go to the Academy only, even if the Magi do not like it
<DeathStar> 6* About a month ago, they discovered a teleporter pad in one of the Temple ruins, much like they found Volt
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *stands at a window, also looking out* "And so I have fulfilled what I said... the city of the Magi is being rebuilt."
<Kaelan> * Alita sighs gently and pets Talia in her arms. She looks at Mykel, now bonded to him. The plan to eventually add her twin to the bond too, when Mykel can handle it. "Sure is."
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen flips through some books
<Sara> * Liana peeks over Gwen's shoulder
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia sits next to Alita, a little jealous of her bond
<Kaelan> * Alita makes it better with extra love and attention.
<DeathStar> 6* Shion touches the communication orb. "Alright mom, the teleporter to the Academy is functioning."

<Chainy> <Miyuki> whose brave enough to test it then
<Stretch> 6Mykel waits near the door watching them all, perhaps a bit tired from trying to keep Ceilia appeased.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *turns and moves over to Shion* "Well done, Shion."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "What is it?"
<Chainy> <Miyuki> allow me to test
<Chainy> 6*Miyuki stands near it and blows a silent dog whistle
<DeathStar> 6* Shion makes a face
<kalonZombie> 6*Eiji walks up "You called, ma'am?

<DeathStar> 6* Gwen shows Liana the book - he seems to be looking at books with combined souls
<Chainy> <Miyuki> go onto the pad
<kalonZombie> 6*He nods, stepping on it
<Sara> * Liana gives a small nod, wishing she could be more help
<Chainy> <Miyuki> Hit it Shion
<DeathStar> 6* Shion activates the pad like Sasha taught and Kito taught her, teleporting Eiji to the Academy
<DeathStar> 6* She then waits for Eiji to talk through the orb on the other side
<kalonZombie> <Eiji> Uhh... I'm back at the Academy.
<Chainy> 6*Miyuki bounces and claps
<Chainy> <Miyuki> hurray
<DeathStar> <Shion> It works. Since it's one way, we'll need people here since this is the prime hub
<DeathStar> <Shion> Either the magi or students here. If we can find where the pads are we can go around the world faster - send students

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The doorway is two-way, but it cna only be opened from this tower."
<DeathStar> 6* He notes as they walk downstairs from the second floor
<Kaelan> Alita> "THis should be interesting..." *she follows*
<DeathStar> 6* They pass a statue that looks Flynnish, hands stuck out as if chastising a lolli
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *nods and heads downstairs* "Tell me, has their been any fortune in salvaging the ancillary labs in the city ruins?"
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ..." She squints at the statue
<Sara> <Liana> One of the Magi told me a rumor that he got turned into a girl and ran away never to be seen again, but I think it was a joke.
<DeathStar> <Magi> Much was destroyed but the books have helped us in recreating the labs. *they lead them down to the basement, where a white haired familiar is setting up equipment*
<Sara> * Liana glances at the statue
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen sets the book in the statue's outstretched hand for now as he goes down
<Stretch> 6Mykel will follow along, quiet for the time being.

<Kaelan> * Alita lets Talia take human form and walk with her, looking over the equipment.
<DeathStar> 6* The white haired familiar that looks like Talia nods to them. The Magi leader motions at the table that was once a familiar table. "We have discovered a little that went into making familiars and Gladius. Apparantly one of the spirits long ago gave a portion of their energy into this broken table to power it and giving them life."
<DeathStar> <Magi Leader> Sadly the table was destroyed and that energy escaped

<DeathStar> <Magi Leader> But it has exciting conotations of what Spirits can do, and maybe that even spirits can produce life
<DeathStar> <Magi Leader> Actual life
<DeathStar> 6* The magi leader runs his hand along the repaired table, despite it lacking the necessary energy
<Kaelan> Alita> "They are in a way life energy, it makes sense."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Have you identified which spirit it was?"
<Stretch> Mykel>12 "Aside from the debatable topic of whether Spirits are actual life in their own regards."
<DeathStar> <Magi Leader> Sadly no
<Sara> * Liana peers around, having gone down with Gwen of course
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen leans back, chewing on a blade of grass
<Kaelan> Alita> "Perhaps we could ask the Great Spirits?"
<DeathStar> <Magi Leader> But any spirit should be able to do it - as long as it's a Great Spirit
<DeathStar> 6* The familiar forms a giant sword and chops up materials for Gladius
<Kaelan> Alita> "Even better."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I would feel more comfortable if we used the same spirit. The wrong element may have unforeseen consequences."
<Sara> <Liana> Undine is the one most affiliated with life, right?
<Kaelan> Alita> "Imagine being able to create new Gladius to train with members of the Academy... it would definately bolster our ranks... more familairs for the Mages too."
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> I think so, Liana.
<Sara> <Liana> So maybe it's Undine.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> *twitches lips a little at Undine*
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> ... Lady Undine, are you still watching?
<DeathStar> <Shion> It would be as good as excuse as any to go up north to see Undine for me and mom's journey
<Sara> * Liana touches Gwen's shoulder gently
<Stretch> 6Mykel will glance to Vyvy, letting her take the lead on this it seems since she has a stronger connection.
<DeathStar> <Shion> Plus the 'war' has been quiet lately
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "what can you tell me of Undine?"
<Chainy> 6*Miyuki watches the reaction towards Undine and makes note of it
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...the one time I saw her was on the battlefield."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> She's very capricious and protective to the point of violence.
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> but it's... not without purpose.
<Sara> <Liana> Also a bit unaware of the real issues, it seemed to me. More focused on her "people".
<Kaelan> Alita> "If we're going into the Amazonian Lands, we have to be careful of Qui."
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I did not win her favor initially. She said she would be watching over me.
<Sara> <Liana> We can probably help Gwen keep control.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Is there any personality quirks that we could use to curry favor?"

<DeathStar> <Shion> IF we want to learn about spirits, why not use the flying carriage to travel to the land of Summoni?
<DeathStar> <Shion> We're close to it
<DeathStar> *She eyes her map* It's on the opposite mountain in the Spiritualist Lands
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Should we get that weird kid back before we go?

<Chainy> <Miyuki> Eiji will find his way back
<Chainy> <Miyuki> lets see about this carriage
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Yes, just to the south."
<Kaelan> Alita> *wraps her tail in Ceilia's and nods*
<DeathStar> <Shion> He should stay at the Academy for now anyway. *She notes mysteriously* He's...not graduated

<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> If Lady Undine had a grudge held, she would not have withdrawn when I spoke her down
<Sara> <Liana> I suppose it's hard to tell. Feelings are complicated.
<Kaelan> Alita> "Yeah I don't think she holds a grudge, we ultimately helped stop the agression, after all."
<DeathStar> 6* Outside the tempature is still normal due to the barrier as Gwen gets into the carriage and changes to Qui since she can fly, and Shion gets into the carriage part - the flying carriage like a real horse drawn carriage
<Stretch> Mykel> 12"We can only hope..."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We shall gather information first before we attempt contact." *enters the carriage*
<Sara> * Liana gets into the carriage
<Kaelan> * Alita gets in with Ceilia, <Don't worry so much Mykel.>

<DeathStar> 6* Qui lifts them up while those in the carriage part enjoy themselves in comfort. Kito packs the bags and sits in the back. Qui gathers a layer of frost and ice
<DeathStar> 6* As they fly through the air on the spirit-tech

<DeathStar> 6* Despite the relatively closeness, 2 days pass through the snow and ice and 9.22 rolls around as they land in the secondary mountains
<DeathStar> 6* The carriage rolls up in the area of the Summoni
<DeathStar> 6* Built around a massive castle, the Summoni Capital is a city built around the base of it. The castle itself is where the true Summoni, as the original Summoners call themselves that practiced the original arts from long ago and not the Rogue Summoners out there, teach today. The Summoni Order is strict and gives out the missions they feel Summoners should undergo and while they let their Summoners live in other cities, they must always return back to the castle every two years for face to face reports. Other wise they can accept by carrier their orders every four months.
<Kaelan> * Alita yawns, napping by laying across Ceilia and Mykel's laps as they land.
<Kaelan> * Talia sleeping on her boobs.
<DeathStar> 6* It is colder than when the last arrived. Thankfully, they are recognized and quickly led inside the main castle
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia eyes Talia jealously
<Kaelan> * Talia paws Ceilia's boobs as if promising to use them later.
<Stretch> 6Mykel was stroking the hair of both Ceilia and Alita, to give them the most affection that they can get in the carriage.
<Sara> * Liana wears a robe over her armor to help her keep warm, as she heads into the main castle with the others

<Nyaomi> * Vyvy seems chipper with her little hooded-mantle she got from Salamander
<DeathStar> 6* They are led inside where a lower rank Summoni meets them, bowing in the main area of the castle
<DeathStar> <Summoni Student> *looking around 10, he looks up* Why are you here?
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen sets his bags down, while Kito dusts things off that belong to Sasha*
<Kaelan> * Alita stretches and moves with her twin her Dragon, and her cat with the others. Talia carrying Alita's bag.

<DeathStar> 6* Shion gracefully curtseys, her tails spreading all proper
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We once again seek permission for the use of your research library."

<DeathStar> 6* The young apprentice summoner nods and asks them to wait there. They are given tea and some snacks as they move off and time ticks.
<Sara> * Liana snacks
<Kaelan> * Alita sips the tea, taking out a book to read. Talia crawls into her lap as a cat and reads with her.
<DeathStar> 6* After a bit, a guide comes to take those who wish to go to the library, while another comes to take them to the High Summoners
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia sips her tea, smiling
<Kaelan> Alita> <You may wish to meet Kalam, Mykel.>
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen and Shion rise, moving after the second guide
<Sara> * Liana also goes with the second guide unless Sasha stops her
<Kaelan> * Alita rises and moves after the first, always doing the library route.

<Sara> <Liana> Could you tell us more about Undine's role as spirit of life?
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Well, being the spirit of water, legend claims that life originated from her, though there is little to back it up. She is connected to healing though and is the spirit of healing magic and healing attacks.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Then it may be outside the interests of the Summoni. We shall have to use our best judgment."
<DeathStar> <Kalam> She can restore damaged lands, like Gnome, and the two when working together can do a lot of good. She can bring waters to places, and water is known to originate life in many places
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy pouts, looking bursting at the seams
<Kaelan> Alita> "Talia, see if you can find any books on the Magi at all. I will look for books involving Gladius." *she and her familiar get to work*
<DeathStar> 6* What books are found are your standard books since Magi are not in their territory and there's nothing on Gladius
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *looks for books on dealing with Undine*

<Kaelan> * Alita tries to see if any of the books on the Magi recall any dealings they had with Great Spirits.
<Kaelan> * Alita is obviously not focusing on Undine.
<DeathStar> 6* The books just have the typical Magi are a secreative lot and the old Magi Order was destroyhed with it's secrets
<Kaelan> Alita> "So the Order isn't a good reference... we should still consider that Undine might not have been the proper spirit. People often attribute qualities to the spirits that are not actually their nature. Such as claiming some to be good or evil."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *looks for soemthing on Undine's personality*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I am aware, but I am focusing on Undine for other reasons as well... that being what happened on the battlefield."

That if you harm the oceans she will come at you with a fury and will not sop

<Kaelan> Alita> "I think that's very much the case... we haven't seen much of them at the tower lately, which makes me believe they've stretched their operations outward."
