<DeathStar> 6* Asarar wipes her forehead, standing up top in the main offices as she does a sim test on the computers, satisfied
<Kaelan> * Luci sits playing cat's cradle.
<Stretch> 6Jelly sits off to the side monitoring from his workstation, idly tapping at his tablet as he does.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar lets out a sigh
<DeathStar> <Asarar> So we're missing Chel now
<DeathStar> <Asarar> What is up with everyone
<Jackieness> <Kira> *steps into Asarar's office* "Someone else turn in their notice?"
<Stretch> Jelly> 3"Uranium pluto coffee helicopter..."
<Kaelan> Luci> "Mmm? Not much, I've been trying to relax a little today."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Just haven't see Chelsea the past few days.

<DeathStar> 6* Asarar begins to try to get into the Psycho Police files to see if Chel is caught

<Stretch> 6Jelly holds out his tablet towards Asarar, trying to show something to her.

<DeathStar> 6* The cat sleeps in a corner
<Stretch> 6It shows a relatively good set of tracking devices."
<Stretch> 6Jelly then makes a circling motion with his hand towards everyone in the room. 3"Pickle dinner."
<Kaelan> * Luci picks up the kitten and holds it to her chest.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Chel would be too good to keep a tracking device on her. Most of us are
<DeathStar> <Asarar> If she wanted to step out for privacy
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Unless pickle dinner means play bait."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> The Psycho department is too hard to crack
<DeathStar> <Asarar> True.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> But once they got their hands on us, we might not be reached again
<Stretch> 6Jelly stops as he was about to say something, thinking about something; then he shakes his head at their suggestions.
<DeathStar> 6* The cat snoozes lazily
<Kaelan> * Luci pets the kitty.
<Kaelan> Luci> "So what do you wanna do?"
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Asarar, you've been trying to crack this on your lonesome. I'm sure most of the runner down here aren't too happy about this. Could the Psycho Cop system handle a full scale assault from every comer?"
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Probably not, by trying to unite Runners would not be easy. Plus finding them
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar leans back
<Jackieness> <Kira> "It doesn't have to be coordinated per se... it just needs to be overwhelming."
<Stretch> 6Jelly looks back at his workstation and tilts his head to the side for a moment before starting to work a bit
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Perhaps so. For now, I want to move through the city in the Net. I've never risked it before, but I want to learn more about the Psycho System and what is up
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar moves over to the platform system in the next room, after entering a side room to change a bit
<Jackieness> <Kira> "And seriously... could always grab Prosco, plug him in, and suck hsi skull dry."
<Kaelan> Luci> "Hmm. Yeah but we really don't want direct attention."
<Stretch> Jelly> 3"Future?" 6He pauses with his coding and looks towards the platform room, remembering the last time he tinkered with it and Asarar's reaction.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar steps out, wearing a body armor suit under her shirt and coat; she buttons up her shirt
<DeathStar> <Asarar> If you guys want to stay here you can and wait for Chel to return
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Just needs some misdirection."
<DeathStar> 6* The cat rolls onto it's back, snoozing
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar moves into the platform room to turn it on
<Kaelan> * Luci grabs her gear and follows Asarar.
<Kaelan> Luci> "Shouldn't go alone." *she sets the Kitten back in her room on the way*
<Stretch> 6Jelly shakes his head emphatically and grabs onto his chair; 3"Ticky-Tock sans liberachi, opium cesna."
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar blows him a kiss, tighting her gloves
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Too bad, Jelly
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar steps onto the platform, vanishing
<DeathStar> 6* No doubt in the Net world - is she watching them right now?
<Kaelan> * Luci steps on with her and vanishes too.
<Stretch> 6Jelly watches them, sighing slightly to himself, but turns back to his console.
<DeathStar> 6* The camera follows those in the Net. Asarar moves along in the space, everything bright and cheerful, a beach with a nice artifical sun that feels real in this floor
<Kaelan> * Luci moves along with her.
<DeathStar> 6* She walks along the beach, the area matching the parimeters of the floor, since it cannot exceed the floor plan
<DeathStar> 6* Until she reaches the window, then begins to type on a palm tree, bringing down a small opening in her coding to protect the club in the Net
<Kaelan> * Luci watches in fascination. "Cool. I think?"
<DeathStar> 6* Finally, a window appears and Asarar steps out, peering across the city. The city looks like it does normally, only distorted. Some buildings are larger, people adding onto them, others are the same, while a few are completely changed, looking like minis castles. There is no smog or rain falling, or if there are in places, it is normal
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar closes the hole behind them since none of the others seem to be following
<Kaelan> * Luci peers around the digitized city warily like a bodyguard.
<DeathStar> 6* The zip line isn't there so she peers down the fire escape down to the road below and merely leaps off, slowing down with her abilities
<DeathStar> <Asarar> There's apparantly a third layer called the Corporate Layer - you don't want to go there yourself not being a NetRunner. You'd appear as mainly data
<DeathStar> *Corporate Net
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar lands and peers around - there are vehicles around, many looking like the Top Side cars, no doubt built and discarded by Runners who move about here
<Kaelan> * Luci leaps down, as a Dragoon it's not as big a deal to her. "Yeah that sounds like it would suck."
<Kaelan> Luci> "What should I be on the lookout for?"
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I have no idea. I haven't risked this before. But as there is no scanners or cameras, this might be the best place to move around until I find an exit point set up by someone
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar walks along the road, motioning how there is no Psycho Passes here
<Kaelan> * Luci nods and peers where they should be, staying by Asarar's side.
<DeathStar> 6* They walk along their club's road in the Red Light District, passing various clubs that look fairly similiar, just changed slightly as if people in the Net have claimed them
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar peers around, glancing at glowing symbols of the Truth - in the real world they would merely be spraypaint
<Kaelan> Luci> "I bet these guys aren't happy about the PPs.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Maybe. 6* She walks over to a symbol, touching it and words float in front of it for a second before vanishing
<DeathStar> <Asarar> ...hm. *She moves on*
<Kaelan> * Luci peered at the words, following after her. "What's that mean?"
<DeathStar> <Asarar> The words absorbed into me. Basically talking about how this is the real world.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Likely put there by Seekers
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar pauses in front of the Psycho Pass building in this sector - it glows brightly
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Net shielding so Net Runners can't enter
<Kaelan> * Luci nods. "Of course."
<Kaelan> Luci> "I bet it'd be hell on wheels even attempting."
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar sighs and turns to go when a blast hits her back, sending flying forward. Her coat distorts and vanishes, as if the data is being eaten away
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar pushes herself up, peering around the empty streets for an attack
<Kaelan> * Luci frowns and summons her armor and shield, leaping back to Asarar.
<Kaelan> * Luci looks around slowly, forming a digital shard blade. "What the hell was that?"
<DeathStar> 6* Another blast comes flying from an apartment building on the third floor, second window - a block of data. Asarar grabs Luci and runs behind a vehicle as it hits the ground, eating it away. In the real world, a hole opens up
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Net Runners.
<Kaelan> Luci> "FUck... they're agressive."
<DeathStar> <Voice> Why don't you lie down and let us take you in, Cypher. It would be easier than being decimated
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar looks around and spots movement in the windows of the building across from the attacker's building
<Kaelan> Luci> "They've got the high ground... we should get out of here." *she whispers*
<DeathStar> <Voice 2> You are a rookie here. You don't know how the Net works
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar watches two blasts hit the car from opposing sides, deleting it.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar grimces and runs with Luci down the street, not seeing cover now. The street makes a bend about 50 meters ahead but they will likely get blasted before them
<Kaelan> * Luci grabs her hand as she summons an anti-ranged shield (cancels 3 ranged attacks) and runs with her.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Your shield is likely useless here to thhat
<DeathStar> <Asarar> It's deleting information
<Kaelan> Luci> "Any ideas then?"
<DeathStar> 6* Three Net Runners leap out of the windows. They were goggles and have packs on their back as they land gracefully, almost looking like they skipped out of the window directly to the ground in a jump. One is a woman, with pink hair and rabbit ears, the other is a human male with a scar across is face to his eye, the third is Ske'ral with a grin
<DeathStar> 6* Their symbol seems familiar, though they have G's on their uniforms
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Dodge the blasts if we can
<DeathStar> 6* Prepare yourself, Luci
<Kaelan> * Luci grups her blade firmly. She nods.
<DeathStar> 6* Right, Down, Left, Left, Down, Right

<DeathStar> 6* The blasts scatter around them, leaving more gaping deleted holes in the ground and one in a club wall

<Kaelan> * Luci rushes along with her.
<DeathStar> 6* She throws her sword out to knock a manhole up and tries to slide into it before they go around
<Kaelan> Luci> "I know that damn symbol."
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar slides and lands bad into the clean sewers
<Kaelan> * Luci slips in after her.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Oh?
<DeathStar> 6* The manhole lands back down with a thud as the three walk along. The human clicks his ear piece
<DeathStar> <Man> They're below. The rest of you spread out - these two won't surrender. And he didn't say we had to bring her back in one piece
<Kaelan> * Luci whispers, "Ghosts, maybe."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Ghosts typically just grab data and run
<DeathStar> <Asarar> They only fight if they have to I thought
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar runs along the sewers, having a left and right option
<Kaelan> LUci> "Maybe, they can't be Code Geiss."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Left or right?
<Kaelan> * Lcui frowns and nods. "Right."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> They might be Breakers. Despite the G.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar rushes right
<Kaelan> Luci> "Could be a throw off, yeah." *She moves with her* "We need to get out of the net somehow."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Because I'm pretty sure we ran into Geiss once
<Kaelan> Luci> "Sort of, he was gone before we did the job, with our loot. Or She. COuld be a She."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> And if we do get away, blaming the Ghosts would throw us off the Breakers
<Kaelan> Luci> "Well let's get into the real world, where I DO know how to kick their asses."
<DeathStar> 6* There's an explosion to the left, as the Runners enter and look around
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-

<DeathStar> 6* The kitten jerks in it's sleep
<DeathStar> 6* Ortora meanwhile passes around phamplets to customers, who accept only to look at her boobs
<Jackieness> <Kira> *points at the screen* "Jelly, they are under attack!"
<DeathStar> 6* One customer walks in, mumbling how 10 blocks away there's odd holes appearing in the street
<DeathStar> (They wouldn't be showing up on any screen)
<Chain> 6*a pair of ears twitch at the mumbling
<Stretch> 6Jelly keeps tapping away, working at his console on some notion he got...a holographic program to send out amongst various Runner sites to initate an old fashioned style DDOS attack on the Psyco Pass System.
<DeathStar> 6* The customers sit down to enjoy singing jazz boobs
<Jackieness> <Kira> "I'm going to go grab a drink. Want anything, Jelly?"
<Chain> 6*Wolfe pulls his coat on and heads outside
<DeathStar> 6* Ortora relaxes, sitting dowm to wath local slum news, with Slum Rat, who uses his crummy HoloCam to show the wreckage of a club wall, where the prostitutes inside have escaped through it, to the anger of pimp
<DeathStar> 6* And a catholic priest prays for their souls. And further down another hole erupts and poo floods out as a car crashes in
<DeathStar> 6* Strangely, the police seem to do nothing
<Jackieness> <Kira> *walks to the bar* "I'll take a drink, Barry. Anything happening?"
<DeathStar> 6* Barry motions at the holovid
<DeathStar> 6* Slum Rat records Chelsea for a moment, who is looking for her pet cat on the screen, walking underneath a Psyco Pass that seems to be going reddish without her noticing, with all the commotion in the background
<Jackieness> <Kira> *looks at the holovid* "Oh hell... hold the drink." *takes off for the streets to find chelsea*
<DeathStar> <Slum Rat> Lets see if we can get a fellow slummer's comment on the matter. *He holds out a tinfoil wrapped stick toward her* What do you think about the slums exploding?
<Chain> 6*Wolfe pops up an umbrella as he looks at all the stuff happening outside
<DeathStar> 6* Wolfe would see no more street exploding since the final sewer exploding, but his ears pick up more further away and below, heading in the direction of the eclub
<Chain> 6*Wolfe hurries inside
<Chain> <Wolfe> everyone OUT
<DeathStar> 6* The customers peer at Wolfe, then at each other
<Chain> <Wolfe> NOW before I toss you!
<DeathStar> 6* They scream and run away. More customers loss
<Chain> 6*Wolfe grumbles
<Chain> <Wolfe> something is headed this way
<DeathStar> 6* The psycho pass beeps on Chelsea finally, and the psycho police drive up to get her. Slum Rat complains on TV that he didn't get his interview as they move to grab her
<DeathStar> 6* Even as Kira arrives
<Sara> * Chelsea jerks
<DeathStar> <Slum Rat> You are blockin' the right of the press!
<Jackieness> <Kira> *dashes forward to grab a hold of Chelsea first*
<DeathStar> 6* Posco shoves him onto the ground and aims a tazer at Chelsea. Not recognizin her without Wolfe there. "Com--who are you?"
<DeathStar> *He eyes Kira*
<Sara> * Chelsea bites her lip.
<DeathStar> 6* Slum Rat rants in the background
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Just a concerned citizen coming to collect her depressed friend."
<DeathStar> <Posco> *he squints, then eyes the read out, then eyes Slum Rat's readings going up* Take her. Grab the press boy here. *they tackle Slum Rat and crunching noises are heard*
<DeathStar> 6* The waist coat wearing - and nothing else - Slum Rat is dragged off, holding out his stick toward Chelsea
<DeathStar> <Slum Rat> Comment...?
<Sara> <Chelsea> Maybe they ought to point those readers at themselves now and then...

<DeathStar> 6* Asarar pants with sweat as they reach a dead end
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I thought the club was right around here
<DeathStar> 6* She looks around for an exity
<DeathStar> 6* One of the Net Runners walks around the corner, visor done - it's the bunny. She holds the weapon. "Here little humans...come out come out where ever you are."
<Kaelan> * Luci peers around, looking up
<DeathStar> 6* Above them is ab roken ladder with one rung, and a manhole
<Kaelan> * LUci motions up.
<DeathStar> 6* The rabbit fauna sniffs, picking up their scent and begins to turn, her tail puffing up
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar kneels, giving her hand for Luci to boost herself
<Kaelan> * Luci uses it and leaps up, grabbing at the ladder and combioing with her Shield Jump to give her enough leverage to force the manhole open, burning a strength to do so.
<DeathStar> 6* Luci busts up and sees the club, glowing with protection. Asarar kneels and double jumps, reaching up right as the rabbit turns and aims. "Gotcha!!!"
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Luci, the password - it's a combination of the people close to me. 6* She calls since she likely won't get up in time, her hand reaching toward her
<Kaelan> * Luci directs her anti-ranged disc as a physical object between Asarar and the bunny as she grabs for Asa's hand to pull her up.
<DeathStar> 6* The rabbit fires like crazy, laughing. The disc takes a hit, vanishing as it's destroyed, then there's a blast at the manhole. Luci would fall back, holding a smoldering glove that has that stench of burntness
<DeathStar> 6* One hopes there isn't a hand in it
<DeathStar> 6* AT that moment, 4 more Net Runners appear on the street, approaching with weapons
<Kaelan> * Luci grunts and rolls to her knees to rise.
<Kaelan> Luci> "Asa?"
<DeathStar> 6* The manhole area looks destroyed and falling down, but a gloved hand grips the edge as it's collaposing
<DeathStar> <Asarar> H-Here
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar struggles to pull herself up with her good hand
<Kaelan> * Luci grans at it, burning an action point to toss her up.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar flies up and lands on her butt
<DeathStar> 6* The rabbit nooes below, buried. Her tail twitching
<Kaelan> * LUci nods. "Get it open. WE've got company."
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar nods, covering her one hand up in her coat as she moves over, typing with her left hand. The other 4 Runners aim
<DeathStar> <Leader Type> Just give up and we won't fire at you *he tells Luci* Macross will accept you alive
<Kaelan> * Luci forms her level 1 and 2 blades in each hand.
<DeathStar> <Leader Type> Just back away from her hands up
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar types in the password, opening a small window into the club
<Kaelan> Luci> "I wonder what a dragon can do in here."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Get in. They won't have those weapons in the real world
<DeathStar> *she whispers, and rolls in, preparing to reactivate it*
<DeathStar> 6* The 4 shot and begin to fire
<DeathStar> *shout
<Kaelan> * Luci nods and hurls both blades in wide, spinning arcs at them as she rolls and burns a speed to dive for the window.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar types rapidly and brings it back up, the shot hitting the blades, destroying them and then the glowing barrier
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar pants in the empty first floor, then limps to the elevator, hitting up
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> 6* The manhole out front collapses in, leaving a gaping hole - after that all goes quiet
<DeathStar> 6* People stare wondering what is up lately with the street
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar and Luci emerge from the platform on the top floor, and Asarar sits down. "One good - they won't tell the location to their bosses. Then they'd lose out on the bounty on us.
<DeathStar> 6* She removes her hand from her coat, the hand still there but badly damaged, blood oozing and revealing metallic fragments as well as bone - it seems it's half metal like a Biotect
<DeathStar> <Asarar> And this is useless now
<Kaelan> * Luci frowns. "We'll need to get it fixed."
<DeathStar> 6* The kitten finally wakes up and works it's way downstairs
<Kaelan> * Luci hands her the glove.
<Kaelan> Luci> "WE should check with the others."
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar takes it, slipping it on with her good hand, the right hand not moving at all and works her way downstairs to check on the others. Kira, Wolfe, and Chelsea would be arriving by now
<DeathStar> 6* The Corporations take notice of the proposal by Jelly and make note of it
<Jackieness> <Kira> "No going out on your own. Posco nearly tagged you."
<Sara> <Chelsea> *ignoring the scolding and grumbling* ...half a mind to take the taser right out of his hand if he hadn't grabbed that guy instead...

<DeathStar> 6* The kitten runs over and leaps on Chelsea, making noises

<Sara> * Chelsea blinks and looks, seeming like she wasn't paying attention

<DeathStar> 6* It looks blueish now after being cared for and seems to be Bonnie sized

<DeathStar> 6* It's from Posco - he shows a picture of Slum Rat naked and tied up, being processed for insanity. There's a message - THIS WILL BE YOU
<DeathStar> 6* Slum Rat keeps clutching his microphone stick
<Chain> *Wolfe deadpans but saves the message to get him in trouble
<DeathStar> 6* The cat kitten kneads, looking a little confused but happy to see Chel and Wolfe
<DeathStar> 6* ASarar limps up to the others
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Look, we should totally just grab Posco while he's off the clock. I just need a floor drain and some tools..."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> We are being targetted by other NetRunners -hired by Macross
<Sara> * Chelsea falls to her knees actually crying, keeping the kitten close... thinking it actually is BonBon even if the text is staying unclear
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Asarar?!"
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I think it might be the Breakers
<Kaelan> Luci> "Nasty buggers."
<DeathStar> 6* The cat licks Chelsea, cleaning her.
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Well, that's just great. Can't take the Net route without being fragged."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> They were deleting data left and right, leaving huge holes in the ground in the Net

<DeathStar> 6* She seems unaware that actually did damage in the real world
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar seems unable to use her right hand at all. She spots Chelsea, then moves over, knealing and hugging

<DeathStar> 6* She looks at Kira
<Sara> <Chelsea> Hey... I was... looking for Bon... *she says, her voice messed up from crying*
<Jackieness> <Kira> "... ... ...did they blow away the manhole cover in front of the club?"
<DeathStar> <Asarar> You should have told one of us, silly. *She pets Chelsea, then rises, stumbling over to Kira and sitting, looking in bad shape* UH, yeah.

<Jackieness> <Kira> "Cause the street outside is all shot up." *thumbs back*
<DeathStar> 6* The cat does tricks like Bonnie used to do
<DeathStar> <Asarar> ... so if you delete data in the Net...it affects the real world...?
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar sits there, looking stunned
<Kaelan> Luci> "I found that cat while you were out... it's acting a lot like Bonnie."
<DeathStar> 6* Ortora stands there, the only customer they have left now
<DeathStar> <Ortora> I am lost
<Kaelan> Luci> "That data thing is odd, it kinda makes me wonder..."
<Sara> <Chelsea> Heh... what if life IS just data in the end... *she sounds a bit hollow and drained as she says it, watching the cat*
<Kaelan> * LUci pulls Ortora close and hugs. "Mmm?"
<Jackieness> <Kira> "And no, we don't *need* Posco... but it would be therapeutic."
