<DeathStar> 6* The blizzard blows even harder and the Magi Tower begins to get colder with the power off. Celes sweats due to being in labor, head tilted back. Delgi, Ceilia and a few others are gone, looking for the Magi with good alignments that might have taken the needed power cores to shut the place down. So far the rescued Magi that are neutral or lower have been released
<DeathStar> 6* Kalam sits secured and tied up, looking like she is meditating, while Karen is working on eliminating the light spirits that are in the place, trying to find them all
<Seraphna> * Alita does her best to guide Celes through her labor, keeping her clean and comforterable, trying to keep her pain eased as well.
<Sara> * Liana stays by Celes, holding her hand
<AquaKoala> *Commodus limps around gathering stuff needed for the delivery
<Sathen> 6* Mykel grumbles as he regains consciousness in the communications room, shaking his head to clear it; "uh...next time I see Celes, remind me to have a couple words with her..."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *stands in the hub room and turns to Mykel* "Neithe rmy sister nor Liana had a thing to do with this. This was Aska's doing."

<DeathStar> 6* Celes grips Liana's hand tightly, uttering

<Sara> * Liana gives a soft smile, trying to hide the fact that she herself is quite a ball of emotion right now and just be there for Celes as best she can

<Sathen> 6* Mykel pushes himself up to stand, swaying slightly before looking to Sasha; "aye, I know...just not happy about getting cold-cocked. So it seems that between Aska and the Empress, that 24 hours passed by quickly..."

<DeathStar> 6* Delgi walks up to SAsha. "The Magi moved into the tunnels under the Tower. Likely they will remain out of sight with the power cores for now. That can also be our escape route if we want."

<Seraphna> Alita> "Hrm... can we get components for more cores?"
<DeathStar> 6* Kito sits back as the kitchen fire warms the kitchen
<Sathen> Mykel> "Agreed. Another option would be to get Celsius to transport us..."
<Sara> * Liana gives a small giggle. "I should be saying that to you, love..."
<Seraphna> Alita> "Between Ceilia, Sasha and myself we should be able to make 3..."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "It makes sense. The rogue magi also used the tunnels when we repelled their assault."
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki looks about for everyone, the lack of smells and silence bothering her as her ears wiggle

<DeathStar> *Delgi tries to think if she's seen any components about*
<Seraphna> Alita> "The only thing I think we're missing is a certain kind of hair... the rest was easy."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Hmmm... I recall that the rogue magi had flooded the tunnels with a miasma at one point..."
<Sathen> 6* Mykel takes a settling breath; "Without the power orbs we have no defenses, our best bet is to move everybody to a secure area while we wait out the birth. Once it's done we should head out of here..."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "If we are forced to abandon the tower, then my order will be to dismantle the hub."
<Seraphna> Alita> <Not so sure about moving her in this stage. She's already in labor.>
<Kemonohime> * Vyvy calls on Salamander to help, and asks Celsius to keep Celes cool (not frozen), but goes to try and shoo light spirits as well, not wanting to have to destroy them since she's still in belief of balance and acceptance of all spirits, even if Aska isn't.
<Sathen> Mykel> "A reasonable move" <Not moving her physically...but I might be able to move her without moving her at all...>
<DeathStar> 6* Celes rubs her face. "We are a team."
<Sara> <Liana> Mmhmm, always.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The communications orb is unusable while the power orbs have been removed."
<Seraphna> * Alita checks on the baby's progress, and Celes' condition as she cleans the area again.
<Sathen> 6* Mykel looks over to Delgi, "Delgi, can you please go find Isis and Miyuki upstairs, they may be able to assist with Celes. And we'll need them with us if we have to evacuate."

<Chaintan> <Miyuki> you'd think you might come and wake me
<DeathStar> 6* Calling forth both spirits at once would leave Vyvy exhausted and unable to move, since two spirits would drain her of energy

<DeathStar> 6* Salamander looks around, wincing and immediately weak being in the cold area

<Kemonohime> (Celsius has already been there and running around, she has to summon both rather than just ask Cel? o.o)
<DeathStar> 6* Celes pulls liana close, peering up at Miyuki. Celsius moves to keep Celes cool like order, touching her and chilling her body; inadvertantly keeping Liana cool too

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Yes, though my sister is in labor so there will be some delay until she cna be moved. Also, a significant number of the tower magi are loyal to Aska and are hiding in the tunnels."
<Kemonohime> * Vyvy mumbles and cuddles into Salamander to remain as still as possible
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> the earth will better insulate the meager heat we have, and buy us time if they should return as the look around
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki kneels at Celes and looks at the pair

<Seraphna> * Alita mumbles a bit as she considers how they can get the reagents not growing out of her own scalp for the orb, since Lilen hair was one of them.

<Sathen> Mykel> "I'll move Celes...I can keep her from being shifted or jostled."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "If we abandon our position here, we may need to dismantle the hub rather than risk it being turned into an instrument of invasion."
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> I need to see how far along the child is, just rising could be enough for it to come out
<Seraphna> Alita> "Please stop cooling Celes." *she says after a moment, seeing the issues she's having with the birthing*
<DeathStar> 6* Delgi leans on a wall boredly, peering outside. There's a brightness out the window that seems to be glowing like a beacon.

<Sara> * Looking at Miyuki
<DeathStar> 6* Celes mumbles, peering to the side but seems to consent, resigned. Celsius peers at Vyvy
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki nods her head and checks
<DeathStar> 6* Kalam's head lolls a bit
<Sathen> 6* Mykel looks to Talia; "Talia, can you get Miss Isis please?"
<Seraphna> Alita> "Warmth is good right now. The cold is already creeping in bad enough."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *glances at Delgi then the window, moving over toward it* "...is that what I think it is?"
<Seraphna> * Talia blinks and goes to retrieve an Isis.

<DeathStar> 6* She seems to be having contractions every few minutes right now. The strain of the ordeal speeding the pregnancy up but she still has some time

<DeathStar> 6* Karen returns up the stairs silently. "The light spirits are hiding in walls away from my attacks."
<Kemonohime> <Vyvy> She was just helping with the fever... thank you, Celsius, c-can yo return for now?
<Seraphna> * Alita nods. "Pace your breathing, Celes. Take your breaths with care."
<Sara> * Liana nuzzles Celes, holding her hand tight. "Everything is gonna be okay, my love..."
<DeathStar> <Kalam> *lifts her head* If you simply allow me to enter and bless the child with my mark, then this will be over You are making a big mistake for all your healths
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> we'll have to move to the nest then...Sasha, I want you to dismantel the hub, just to be safe, while we move Miss Celes, I shall leave a way for you all to meet with us

<DeathStar> 6* Isis comes down, having been on the top floor dealing with something
<Seraphna> <Alita> Not a fan of informed consent is she... *she grumbles as she gently helps Celes up* "Slow and careful."
<Sara> * Liana helps her stand, holding her steady

<Sathen> 6* Mykel looks to Kalam; "Following a betrayal is no time to talk of markings."6 He moves forward towards Celes's side to help her.

<DeathStar> 6* Karen walks down stairs. The blizzard keeps blowing open the front door. Again and again and agin and again
<Sathen> 6* Mykel will follow behind Celes and Liana, "Should we bring Kalam with us as well?"
<Sara> <Liana> Someone that strong can find their own way... it might be a bad idea...

<DeathStar> 6* Salamander walks along. Delgi opens the door to the basement level with the tunnels
<Seraphna> * Alita helps Liana lead Celes down.
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki moves with a bit more pep in her step, though it will get gradually warmer

<Seraphna> * Talia accompanies, carrying a Ceilia if that's needed. Putting her in her inventory.
<DeathStar> 6* Celes walks carefully. Isis keeps with Miyuki, making sure her stomach is okay. Kito shakes herh ead at Kito as she helps strip the Hub
<Sara> * Liana moves as best she can with Celes, though she's careful about it. She quietly wonders to herself where Mayde is
<DeathStar> 6* Mayde is packing all their things, like a good oblivious maid to what is important
<DeathStar> <Delgi> Once we get out of range of Aska's influence, we should be able to use Celsius to warp to the Daemon Realm
<AquaKoala> *Commodus moves to help Mayde along quicker
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> once we are all in the den however I will seal it up with ice and snow, but we have provisions already in place till we decide our next move
<DeathStar> 6* Delgi moves to the basement doors and rips open one, revealing a tunnel that wasn't cllapsed
<Seraphna> <Alita> "The question is... how far is that influence?"

<DeathStar> 6* Mayde grabs the bags and walks along, passing Sasha and Kito and hurries downstairs to catch up to the others. Karen peers down the tunnel - the tunnels are cold, but not as cold as above. There's a hard chill down here
<Sathen> 6* Mykel keeps an eye out over the expectant couple, gripping his sword tightly as he waits for a surprise attack.

<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki gestures to one passage in particular
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Kito, I do have a change of clothes, right?"
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> hurry inside, lay her where all the fur and bedding is
<Kemonohime> <Vyvy> Lady of Flame, might I have your assistance?" She pants, helping Kalam along, trailing behind
<Sara> * Liana follows Miyuki's instructions as best she can
<Sathen> 6* Mykel stops by the entrance next to Miyuki and Isis, "Should we worry about the mages getting through your ice Headmistress?"
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> pipe down and get inside

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *pulls out a key component and then opens up her coat, shoving it into her cleavage* "Good."
<DeathStar> 6* Salamnder picks up Kalam easily
<Sathen> 6* Mykel bites his tongue and nods, moving after the others into the 'nest' not about to tempt Miyu's wrath.
<Kemonohime> <Vyvy> You might want to tie her in your peculiar way." She tilts her head
<AquaKoala> Commodus> Perhaps we should hurry for the caverns Commander?
<DeathStar> 6* Karen moves down the one tunnel
<DeathStar> 6* Kito smashes a few of things to confound them then pulls Sasha down
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Yes, let's go." *heads down now*
<DeathStar> 6* Celes lays down in the tunnel
<Chaintan> 6*inside is a series of "rooms" the main one seeming to be, like its name sake, a nest of fur and other soft things for delivering and keeping warm, a smaller one for food and water and such
<DeathStar> 6* Kito carries Sasha, leaping and running like a fox
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> one of you get a fire going
<AquaKoala> *Commodus rushes along
<DeathStar> 6* Mayde sets up in the tunnel that Miyu has converted. Isis relaxes
<Seraphna> * Talia walks over and uses some fire magic to get the fire going.
<Sara> * Liana retakes her place at Celes' side, holding her hand.
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki keeps a look out for the others, her own hand on her belly
<Seraphna> * Alita check on Celes and the baby's condition as she resumes guiding her through the birthing.
<Sathen> 6* Mykel moves to the side of the entrance tunnel and sits, watching out towards Miyuki.

<DeathStar> 6* Celes squeezes it, smiling. Down the other tunnels, voices can be heard, whispering

<Sara> * Liana's eyes glance toward the sound of the voices but she focuses on the matter at hand
<DeathStar> <Salamander> She is here. *She is tying up Kalam with sexual knots, having Kalam naked*
<DeathStar> <Salamander> She will not escape not, not with this daemon technique I learned
<Sathen> Mykel> "Except for yourself headmistress."
<DeathStar> 6* Isis prepares some soup and a fire
<Kemonohime> <Vyvy> Sh-She didn't need to be nude. I just knew that method was very difficult to evade..
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki nods and begins sealing them off
<DeathStar> *Karen eyes Salamander with a cocked eyebrow*
<DeathStar> <Salamander> She didn't?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *kneels down on one of the furs*
<AquaKoala> *Commodus sits, sword on his lap
<Seraphna> Alita> "Did Ceilia teach you those knots?"
<DeathStar> 6* Celes looks tired and dizzy, mumbling incoherantly a little
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> how is she Alita
<Sathen> 6* Mykel waits at the entrance to offer Miyuki a hand to settle herself if she needs it.
<Sara> * Liana leans in, trying to listen to Celes
<Seraphna> Alita> "Stable and coming along so far... though drained."
<Seraphna> * Alita checks for bleeding and makes sure that things are going smoothly still.
<DeathStar> 6* She just seems to be mumbling with her words either backwards or out of order, though Liana is in it a lot, or Sasha
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> she may be dehydrated as well
<Seraphna> Alita> "She definately seems to be going out of it... water and some broth would do."
<DeathStar> 6* Alita would see there is quite a bit of blood on the cave ground, almost like a mark
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki finishes sealing them in before she pants, wiping at her brow
<Seraphna> * Alita frowns. "Her blood is draining fast... this... is this a mark?"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...mark?"
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki turns quickly
<Sathen> 6* Mykel will offer his arm to Miyuki
<DeathStar> 6* Isis touches Miyuki's side
<Chaintan> <Miyuki>a mark?
<Seraphna> * Alita frowns. "It seems to be forming from the blood."
<Seraphna> Alita> "...Can Aska... use her blood like this?"
<DeathStar> 6* The blood keeps dripping, so it seems to be the eye's trick too, or maybe just a conincidence
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *rises* "...what color are Celes' eyes?"
<Seraphna> * Alita frowns and uses a Mage Cure spell to try and lessen the bleeding and have the body renew it's blood supply.
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki settles herself as well by Celes
<Sara> * Liana looks confused by the question, just continuing to care for Celes and stay at her side as a wife should, looking worried
<Chaintan> <Miyuki>Liana, try and get her talking
<AquaKoala> *Commodus gets a towel to clean the blood
<Seraphna> Alita> "Check her eyes Liana... and yes, keep her awake... she should not be falling asleep from this, that should be close to impossible."
<Seraphna> Alita> "We don't have much in the way of pain relief... so..."
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki checks her pulse
<Sara> <Liana> Cel... Cel, how are you feeling? *she says as she looks at Celes, including her eyes*
<DeathStar> 6* Karen sits calmly, listening beyond the ice, the weird whispers still out there. Kito does her sword, cleaning and sharpening it, while Isis puts some rabbits into the stew. Salamander keeps warming them
<Sathen> 6* Mykel will move off to the side to stay out of the way unless needed, <Let me know if you need me to do anything.>
<DeathStar> 6* Her pulse seems to get stronger with the healing and she leans her head up at Liana's voice, opening her eyes a bit, glancing around weakly. They look more blueish than red right now. "Tired. Ungh... I thikn the baby really wants to come out soon."
<Seraphna> Alita> "I see... the spell is working, that must mean there is some internal injury. Not to worry, Talia and I have enough healing for this."
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki nods to Alita
<Sara> * Liana's eyes widen a little bit as she sees Celes' eyes being a different color from usual. She glances over at Sasha with a telling confused frown
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "What is it, Liana?"
<Sara> * Liana doesn't respond; she doesn't want to alarm Celes, and Sasha was the one who first asked about Celes' eyes
<Sara> <Liana> Hang in there, love... we'll get through this...
<Seraphna> Alita> *whispers the next cure spell while helping Celes start to move into the labor with ease* "Remember, control your breathing. Be strong for the little one."
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> Celes, have you thought of names yet, since we last spoke
<Chaintan> 6*she gently rubs her belly
<DeathStar> <Celes> I really am bad with names. I probably would just name her after Liana. *She smiles softly*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *moves over and then looks for herself; she then walks away*
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> perhaps, or you might know the name once its born
<Chaintan> 6*her tails rattle
<Sara> <Liana> I'm not much better with names... When I thought about names, I just came up with stuff like "Selena" that sounds like someone badly tried to put our names together... *she laughs softly*
<DeathStar> 6* Isis begins to pass bowls of soup around. Outside the ice wall, a few Magi pass quietly, looking around for them
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *paces, seeming distraught now*
<DeathStar> <Celes> That sounds nice to me
<Sathen> 6* Mykel looks to Sasha, an eyebrow arching in curiousity.
<DeathStar> 6* Celes quints at Liana. "Your eyes are looking lovely." 6* She pats her face
<Sara> <Liana> Mmh? My eyes? *she blinks*
<Seraphna> * Alita peers up from her work at them.
<DeathStar> 6* Celes motions at Mayde and takes a mirror, showing Liana that her eyes are going back to their real color
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I don't know what this means..."
<Seraphna> * Alita frowns, tilting her head as she notices them both losing their red color.

<Sara> * Liana frowns slightly but quickly fixes her expression, being strong for Celes right now.
<Kemonohime> <Vyvy> The bloodline's bond to Aska leaving?
<DeathStar> 6* The Magi seem to study the ice wall. Karen motions at the intruders outside. "Can they hear us?"
<Seraphna> Alita> "Defiance means freedom...? Maybe..." *she muumbles to herself as she goes back to her midwife work*
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> not as long as we keep hushed...
<Sathen> Mykel> "What's wrong Sasha?"
<DeathStar> 6* At that moment Celes has another bit of labor pains as the baby gets closer to coming out and winces like she might shout or curse
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki covers her mouth
<DeathStar> 6* Celes does a steady stream of curses and yells into her mouth. The Magi move on after a moment
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *raises a hand to indicate silence, lowering her voice* "Give my sister something to chew on. Towel. Leather. Something."
<Sara> * Liana squeezes Celes' hand
<Seraphna> * Alita motions Liana to keep her quiet as she sees to the movements. Making sure the baby is still well. She muses. <It's possible the essence of Aska in each of them might be going into the child...? It has to go somewhere..."

The families that did not want to continue were offically banished or had their bloodline cut off, hence the names erased in the book. Your mother's name, from what I learned, was not erased because she was not properly done because the Empress did not justly remove her

<Seraphna> * Alita blinks and concentrates on the birthing, guiding the baby. "Okay Celes, push."

<Sara> * Liana kisses at Celes' cheek softly, continuing to hold her hand. "You can do it, love..."

<Seraphna> * Talia starts to cast the next Mage Cure spell on Celes as Alita wraps the baby and does her best to quiet it before tiving her to Celes.

<DeathStar> <Rain> I think in the end Aska was worried about the health of everyone but was bound by the contract. Even if the Hapian Empress holds, or renews the contract for her and Eve, the dynamics of power will change. There will be a new heir of the Hapian throne born with no ties to the Empress or Aska now
<DeathStar> 6* Celes nods, hugging Liana. "She is beautiful."
<Seraphna> <Alita> "Perhaps she should have asked nicely... instead of bringing the cudgel along."

<Sathen> 6* Mykel will turn and look towards Celes and the infant; "the loss will also be felt by Aska, atleast until she can restore it Miss Rain. And everyone should at the very least feel a reprieve from the over-whelming 'goodness' of Aska for the time being."

<Sara> * Liana rocks their baby gently and carefully for a moment, before handing her to Celes proper
<Seraphna> * Alita sees to Celes, checking for further bleeding as Talia waves at the baby.
