<Sara> * Liana blinks a couple of times and rubs her eyes, before moving over toward Gwen, but looking at Alita. "Um... Oh."

<Seraphna> Alita> "I see... perhaps it's best we go by Spirit travel then."

<DeathStar> 6* Celsius nods and swirls everyone along. They appear at the capital, right at the tower. Once the pass is shown, the guard waves them in to the elevator pad. As they go upward, they pass a floor where Rain is chatting with Sasha in front of some clear orbs

<DeathStar> <Shinobu> She tried to sacrifice her life so that Shade could take her body to return. She took the essence of Shade in Vyvy for herself

<Seraphna> Alita> "That would explain her lack of weakness..."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We need to find a way to bring back Shade lest KAren make another attempt."
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen rubs his head. "That sounds familiar, that prophecy..."
<Sathen> Mykel> "And what has been discovered so far?"
<Seraphna> Alita> "Should we leave you to it? Our summons home was marked as an emergency, so we cannot stay long."
<DeathStar> <Rain> No alternatives have been discovered yet. Asking these Memory Orbs requires delicate questions
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> If you came to talk to my sister, the Empress, she has been in reclusion lately
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> If I can answer anything about the outbreak, I will
<Seraphna> Alita> "I assume that's why we were asked to come here first then. What is the nature of the illness? Is there any means to combat it? I'm unsure why we are being sent in, to tell the truth, other than to find out parents."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Rain, if I go with my team, would you be able to handle the questioning of the orbs until my return?"

<DeathStar> <Shinobu> Let me see. From what I've heard, it is a waning disease. Due to the fact that daemons have grown weaker due, especially those who have darkness elemental, which doublely affects them, they are more weakened

<DeathStar> <Shinobu> So far, there has not been any means to combat it, other than constant medicines, and healing magic to keep the person stable, and they grow less effective
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "How is it transmitted? A true disease or justa side-effect of Shade's passing?"
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> We have been letting daemons know so they can say their goodbyes
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia frowns as she listens
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> We don't know, sadly
<Seraphna> Alita> "What... do you mean goodbyes...? Is... is that why we were summoned?"
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> Shade has always been here, so it could be be a true disease that Shade kept at bay, or it could be without her, daemons simply will die. Or it could be Aska's influence will kill us

<Seraphna> * Alita checks the orders again to see if it says who summoned them.

<DeathStar> 6* Miyuki, as she goes to the Empress' floor, would not see the Empress on her throne, and her guards do not let her near. Even Eiji would not be in the room
<Sathen> <Mykel> "It sounds like the main work here needs to be in figuring out what to do to bring Shade back...In the worst case we need to get Alita and Ceilia home."

<Seraphna> Alita> "It does not say, but it has the seal."

<DeathStar> <Shinobu> I do not know. She did travel a lot when the outbreak hit

<Seraphna> * Alita nods a bit, frowning. "Has there been any detection of Holy energy in the kingdom of late? We once found Shade trying to contain one and we ended up stopping it for her."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "A Shard... its presence in the Ent lands caused a great disturbance as well."

<Seraphna> Alita> "Well yes... but none of the Daemons at the academy seem to be experiencing illnesses, and it's in the kingdom itself it seems... which is odd."
<Seraphna> Alita> "If it were purely our nature, than all would be effected."

<Sathen> 6* Mykel leans over to whisper something to her so as not to disturb the others *

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "If it is indeed this plague... I would have to bar you from return to the Academy until we are certain that you are not carriers."

<DeathStar> 6* Shinobu looks at the seal. "It came from someone with high authority."

<DeathStar> 6* Miyuki exits into a large bedroom, the bed's sheets drawn closed

<DeathStar> 6* Whoever is in the bed does not respond, apparantly asleep
<Seraphna> * Alita sighs. "Worst case we can return here after and see if we are infected or not. If it is a real disease, I can probably cure it for a few people."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And did Lady Shonbu not just say that it was uncureable?"

<DeathStar> 6* The Empress is on the bed, fevered and looking weak. She seems to be infected by what is going around, a water pan beside her and cloth on her forehead. It seems the advisors are keeping the fact the Empress is infected hidden
<Seraphna> Alita> "There are... methods... most are not eager to try."

<Sathen> 6*Mykel nods and smiles in thanks to Celsius, straigtening to look back at them*

<Seraphna> * Alita sighs a bit. "I think we need to take the risk though. So we'll take precautions. I will not be able to live with myself if we do not see our parents safe."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Perhaps seal yourself in some sort of clothing that would keep you isolated from infections?"
<Seraphna> Alita> "I think a cleansing before and after, and sealed clothing to be thorough."
<DeathStar> 6* The Empress opens her eyes, peering at Miyuki, looking tired. She seems surprised to see her there.
<Seraphna> Alita> "If it is here in the city already, there is a chance we are already infected."

<DeathStar> <Rain> That might explain Karen's recklessness and why the 4 people with her were willing to kill a princess

<Seraphna> Alita> "A few lives to save many is a horrible but true calculus."

<Seraphna> * Alita sighs and turns to go. "We should get what we need and go quickly. Scaldig water to cleanse the skin... and Mykel can try and bolster my defenses as well."
<Sathen> Mykel> "Liana, this is a danger you don't have to put yourself in...especially not with your daughter to think of. But it does beg the question whether this affliction has been able to spread to other races?"

<DeathStar> <Empress> All signs point to daemons, or those who were aligned with darkness.
<Seraphna> Alita> "Stopping her has already cost lives, unless of course her theory would not have worked. But... it would be a shame to lose the princess all the same."

<Sara> <Liana> Losing anyone is a shame.
<DeathStar> <Empress> So far I have only seen one or two cases of another race getting it
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Neither I nor Liana are aligned with elemental darkness."

<Sara> <Liana> I'm... reminded of the sickness in the forest.

<Seraphna> Alita> "Well... anyway, we should get this preparation done quickly. Ceilia, we'll need to wash thoroughly before we dress in resistant clothes."

<DeathStar> 6* Celsius warps them to the Winged City
<DeathStar> Winged City is known as such because of the wings on Lilin as well as Daemon who can fly. Built on the Daemon Grasslands, which is filled with roaming monsters and strange plant life that can attack passerbyers, the Lilin, in order to protect themselves, built their city on an inclined heights, along a series of rocks, sometimes several meters apart. For the Lilin, who, for a few can fly, and most can glide, this just meant gliding across to the next part of the city, this was ideal, they began to construct the city there. The Winged City is a beautiful city in the grasslands, with the twilight, beautiful purple sky above and grasslands with the glowing plants and trees down below.
<DeathStar> The buildings, built to look asetically pleasing and wonderful to look at, are spread out across as series of cliffs and rocks, many one story to 10 stories tall, in various colors and statues built along them. Being sex Daemons, they have opened various harems. Because there are so many various Lilin Clans, the Clans each have their various markets, and the City is divided into the Clans' territory, and the City's color zones detonate which Clan owns which. The richest Clan, the Lilin Qui, colored purple, own a good chunk of the best sex harems and Red Light type Districts, with any sorts of races - having humans, werebeasts, Fauna, and so on - from ages of 10 to 50 to meet any sort of appeal. Each Clan, the colors being purple, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and so on.
<DeathStar> Both the Lilin and the other Daemon clans that live there have made there to open many schools. While the Lilin teach things like sex education and make sure all Lilin are incrediblely smart in all areas, such as conversation, refinement, and culture, the other Daemons have made sure the education system has included everything schools should include. There are also art schools, dressing schools, and more due to the influx of so many new races being a Lilin City.

<Sara> * Liana jerks and follows Alita and Celsius
<Seraphna> * Alita walks with her. "Would we need to go to your cave? I'm no sure how much this will take."
<DeathStar> 6* Celsius stands there, tilting her head, waiting for Alita to do whatever she wants
<Sara> <Liana> Just please do not do anything that will harm you, Celsius...
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "In the meantime, perhaps the rest of us should return to the tower and bathe thouroughly."

<Seraphna> Alita> "How... do we do this exactly? I know we need to use spirit essence but..."
<DeathStar> <Delgi> If you go to the cave, you will need the majority of it for your parents probably
<Seraphna> * Alita nods, looking to the others. "I need a means to bring the energy here and give it to them."
<DeathStar> <Delgi> Celsius is a new spirit
<DeathStar> <Delgi> Just have Celsius gather it
<Seraphna> * Alita frowns a bit. "I... I don't want to be selfish but... these are my parents."
<DeathStar> 6* Celsius nods and vanishes it, then returns, glowing, then touches her parents, making them glow and they slowly begin to heal
<DeathStar> 6* The doctor walks forward at this cure, and many other patients clamor
<DeathStar> 6* Touching Celsius like she is their savor
<Seraphna> * Alita nods. "It... is working. But we'll need to get more energy from other spirits. Older ones instead."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I guess we should free Vyvy then
<Seraphna> Alita> "They should have a lot more to spare."
