<Sathen> 6*Kaylin checks the initial scans to see if there's any indications of hostilities directed toward the ship*
<Sara> * Erica glances around at the others, as well as at the screen, letting out a soft "hmm"
<Seraphna> * Cookie blinks and walks over to Yuki and pets. "You okay Cousin?"
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki poofs back, sitting on Erica's lap. There's no signs of any ships in the region.

<DeathStar> <Yuki> Just that it's part of the traffic lane. Outside this we are heading closer to the main Empire where it gets busier
<Sara> * Erica gives a nod. "Well... Let's send a warm welcome, see what we've got."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> There are planets that are unknown and this one has a name on the map, so it has to be known

<Seraphna> Cookie> "Oh? Darn, I don't get to give this one a cool name then. Like Yukiplanet."
<DeathStar> 6* It has a name that cannot be pronounced and so the computer has done it's best to try to put it into Basic, making it come out like a long string of letters

<DeathStar> <Yuki> *prpops her head up* It would make it hard to find a shard down there with that much energy overload
<Sathen> Kaylin> "It doesn't appear to be a star to me..."

<Jackieness> <Airym> "They likely adopted a form that we would be comfortable with."
<DeathStar> <Samson> Only way to find out is to go down there and wrangle it out of them. *he strokes his handy mangum plasma gun*

<DeathStar> 6* Mireille meanwhile sits in her underwear, mimicing the picture, and plays with her bunny

<Sara> * Erica eyes the gun. "Plus it might be a poor show for us to go out locked and loaded, as it were, Agent. ... Cookie, what are you teaching my Mireille?"

<Sathen> 6* Kaylin absently reaches to her back* "Projectile weapons would be a more prudent sidearm"

<Seraphna> Cookie> "We have Energy Beings back home. They're called the Progenitors."
<Seraphna> Cookie> "One of Gor's Mommas is part Progenitor."
<Sara> * Erica raises an eyebrow but nods, making sure the ship is underway to the coordinates

<DeathStar> 6* The Aquarius flies in, into what looks like an Earth like world, right up to a mountainous region where temples are located. There's a small landing pad
<DeathStar> 6* The landing pad is equipped enough to hold a ship the size of Aquarius is place, so that it can hover
<Sathen> Kaylin> "Perhaps we should have used the smaller vessel?"
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki scans as best she can, the energy interference worse here, and notices there are hotsprings and other things for the crew
<Sara> <Erica> Bizarrely enough, they seem perfectly ready for a full-sized ship
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Must be a place ships come to
<Sara> <Erica> What an interesting place... It looks like a 'normal enough' world, huh.
<DeathStar> 6* Ramps are brought up to be placed beside the ship
<Seraphna> Cookie> "Guess it's good I packed that swim suit."
<Sara> * Erica gestures to the others about forming an away team with her, patting Mireille on the head
<Jackieness> <Airym> "I would speculate that they are capable of particle synthesis through direct energy to mass conversion."

<DeathStar> 6* The leader of the group, a bald man - well, they are all bald, like monks, bows. "Welcome, Captain Hildegard."
<Sara> * Erica curtseys. "Thank you! Your world seems quite lovely."
<DeathStar> 6* The energy readings seem more intense from the temples
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Fascinating."
<DeathStar> <Leader Monk> Thank you. We provide spiritual healing to those who come here. As well as physical in our waters of life. We are usually quite booked.
<Seraphna> * Cookie peers around, rubbing her head but feeling about gently for the presence of minds, her Mind Shield up in case it's too much to take in.

<Sathen> 6* Kaylin stands stoicly to the side observing the greeting party for signs of deception or anything else*

<DeathStar> 6* He walks along toward the temples. Crew members eagerly go out to the springs

<DeathStar> <Leader Monk> We do not pry. We assume it is because something is holding them or otherwise occupying them

<Sara> * Erica looks forward, toward the temples
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Where do most of your customers come from? <Leader Monk> Further into the galaxy. They come far and wide. The Crytok Empire as they are affiliated these days. but Empires come and go
<Jackieness> <Airym> "What other empires preceded the Crytok and what became of them?"
<DeathStar> 6* He stops in front of the temples and motions, turning to Erica. "The spiritual center that people seek, Captain Hildegard. One enters to find balance in their lives and comes out stronger for it. Many come for the waters of life, but those who wish to be stronger of spirit come for this."
<Sathen> 6*Kaylin follows along and watches over the crew as best as she can*
<DeathStar> 6* The leader monk peers toward Airym. "Their names interchange over the years, young one."
<Sara> * Erica curtseys. "Interesting. I would love to see it, indeed."
<Seraphna> * Cookie muses. "Balance sounds nice, a lot like my old training."
<DeathStar> <Leader Monk> When you feel up to it, you should enter the temples. One should go in alone for the full effect. Come, let us eat. *Yuki peers at the temple, peering at her datapad and getting readings off the chart inside, wondering if a shard is in there*

<Seraphna> * Cookie looks over at the temples. "Well... they did say we should go in alone for it's full effect."

<Sathen> Kaylin> "That would imply that a lessened effect would be felt if multiple individuals were to go inside...and not be detrimental."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Plus we are after the shards first and foremost

<Sara> <Erica> It does make me wonder. I do want to go, either way. Granted, we're bonded... *she notes*

<Sara> <Erica> <Don't let it drive you too batty, though... Can't you return to normal by not having any of Yulindhe in you?>

<Sara> <Erica> Yeah... *she tilts her head* Well, I guess they have basically told us it was okay for us to go in...
<Sara> * Erica walks toward it gradually
<Jackieness> <Airym> *tries to adjust her internal sensors to filter out the ambient energy*
<DeathStar> 6* The entire planet seems filtered with it, to the air, the energy waters, ground, with the temples being the epoch
<Sara> * Erica leads Yuki inside
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki trots inside. At first it looks like a simple room, but at the far end is curtains
<Sara> <Erica> Huh... *looks a bit confused, but also curious, walking toward the curtains*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "I am having difficulty adjusting my sensors to deal with the ambient energy."
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki walks along beside her, the curtains blowing a bit as if there was wind
<Sara> <Erica> What do you make of this, Yu?
<DeathStar> <Yuki> There has to be some magic voodoo going on behind the curtains. All the readings are pointing to whatever energy this place has is inside the temple, and they claim all their spiritual mojo is in here
<Sathen> 6* Kaylin walks next to Airym* "Anything that could clear it up?
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Maybe once you go inside, something happens
<Seraphna> * Cookie peers around, tilting her head. "Could be..."
<Sara> * Erica gives a shrug and takes Yuki's hand, stepping in

<Seraphna> * Cookie trails in after Erica and Yuki.

<DeathStar> 6* Mireille falls into the hotsprings and flails as her clothes come off comedically, meeting the quota for nudity you all asked for
<Kemonohime> <Saoirse> ... This sure is happening a lot lately. C'mon Yulindhe.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Unfortunately, I do not know where to begin. I do not detect any data centers or access terminals."
<DeathStar> 6* Yulindhe trots along with Saoirse
<DeathStar> 6* The monks seem to be entertaining the happy crew
<DeathStar> 6* Mireille sputters water, then soaks in the waters, glowing
<Sathen> Kaylin> "Would it be possible to question some of the other monks about the cancelations?"
<DeathStar> 6* Yulindhe walks by the two, peering at Mireille splashing about
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Possibly so, if they are so inclined. However, they may not have any further information."
<Sathen> Kaylin> "Then how would you suggest we follow the Captains order to find out?"
<Jackieness> <Airym> "We could sitll ask."
<DeathStar> 6* The monks hand out drinks to the nude crew people
<Sathen> 6*Kaylin will stand next to Airym and wait for her to decide a course of action, looking to Sao and Yulindhe walking around without knowing that they're searching for Erica, Yuki and Cookie.*

<DeathStar> <Monk> We are not interested in the universal news. We keep to ourselves and focus on the individual souls
<Jackieness> <Airym> "I see. And has nothing threatened your world in its entire history?"
<DeathStar> <Monk 2> Problems will come and problems will go. The universe will always be here
<DeathStar> <Monk> There has been threatening individuals before. Once they have seen into themselves they have learned
<Jackieness> <Airym> *tilts her head* "Fascinating."
<DeathStar> <Monk> *they all nod; perhaps they have not faced someone who has seen darkness in themselves and just not cared*

<Sathen> Kaylin> "And do all who have seen into themselves changed?"
<DeathStar> <Monk> Some are destroyed, some change, some do not
<Sathen> Kaylin> "Destroyed?"

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki stops in front of the gates, spotting a little girl playing in the yard while wearing a dress
<Sara> <Erica> Well, welcome to the Hildegard estate. *she says with less enthusiasm than if this were a proper visit, in a sense... then she stops dead as she peers at the same as Yuki*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> That little girl looks kind of familiar
<Sara> * Erica frowns a bit as she looks closer. "Is that... What is this..." she says bewildered
<DeathStar> 6* A stern man comes out and yells. "Erica! Get in here! Proper young ladies do not play ball in the yard and ruin their dresses." 6* He yanks the girl inside
<Seraphna> * Cookie blinks. "Huh... your dad was a meaniepants."
<Sara> * Erica rubs her temples. "Gustaf Hildegard... He cared a lot about making me 'a proper young lady' and take part in the business someday. Quite the businessman, but... I never was the proper young lady he wanted back then. Should we follow?"
<Sara> * She says almost rhetorically as she's already moving that way
<Seraphna> Cookie> "I guess?"
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki struggles to climb the gate, then jerks as it electrocutes her
<DeathStar> 6* She falls off, her tail poofed
<Seraphna> * Cookie shifts her footing and catches her.
<Sara> * Erica turns to look at Yuki. "H-Huh? What happened?"
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Gate is electrified
<DeathStar> *Yuki coughs up smoke*
<Sara> <Erica> Well then, shouldn't we try to enter the right way? *she moves toward the gate and holds out her arm/data reader, wondering if it might open*
<Sara> <Erica> If it really won't let us get in the better way. *she says with a laugh*
<DeathStar> 6* The gate clicks open, welcoming Mistress Hilegard home
<Sara> * Erica does an exaggerated "this way" servant bow to the other ladies

<Sara> <Erica> So... this is the past, huh. *she looks upward for a moment as they walk, then looking around at the yard and mansion* ...Gaudy. *she smirks*
<DeathStar> 6* As they approach the house, Erica is sneaking out the side window and leaping into a tree, throwing a rope out over the gate to shimmy over, a pack over her shoulder as if she were running away

<Sara> * Erica eyes what little Erica is doing. "That's a very good question..."
<DeathStar> 6* Little Erica struggles to get over, huffing. At that moment, their father is stepping out, which means he will likely spot Erica

<Sara> * Looking around frantically, trying to remember this
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Uh oh, your little self is about to get their tan hide. If we're not caught first
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki ducks down, watching as he works on his pipe, trying to light it
<Seraphna> * Cookie ducks down. "Maybe you need to confront your father."
<Sara> * Erica makes an odd face. "I could... try?"
<Sara> * She fails to duck down like the others, her eyes instead darting between her father and her younger self
<DeathStar> 6* The branch snaps as young Erica is about to go over and Gustaf's head snaps toward it, putting the match out and he walks toward it, not having noticed them yet
<Sara> * Erica frowns and grabs a rock and tosses it in the other direction, to see if that will even redirect his attention
<Sara> <Erica> Don't you even understand... *she mumbles*

I am hard on her so she is hard on herself so no one can tear her down. *he coughs a few times, smoking frantically, eyeing Erica and mumbling*

<Sara> * Erica gives a slight smile. "Well... that's one thing you definitely succeeded at..." She seems a bit intrigued by that thought. "'Her running away like this... Well, it just means she's willing to stand up even to you in her own way, doesn't it... but not so overly yet, huh..." She says the last part quietly, remembering how she destroyed her room when Saoirse disappeared.
<Sara> <Erica> ... Kumen's a dark place... I wanna see it bright someday, dad. *she says, glancing up*
<DeathStar> 6* Gustaf smokes on his pipe, still rubbing his chest. "A dream. This place is too corrupt to change." 6* He coughs. "If you are my daughter, you still are soft. But it seems you are still surviving at least"
<Sara> * Erica looks at her father's chest, seeming a bit concerned. "Yeah... I am. I work for CorSec in my time. I'm a starship captain. It's easy to say 'too corrupt to change'... but I've seen some crazy things out there, in the stars. I want to believe."
<DeathStar> 6* Gustaf studies her, looking at her uniform, mumbling. "Captain. So you do not take over the business." 6* He shakes his head, mumbling. "We shall see, phantom, we shall see."
<DeathStar> 6* The scene begins to fade a bit, and Erica, Yuki, and Cookie find themselves in an empty room, back in the temple
<Sara> <Erica> You guys are still in business... I think you're still in charge? I haven't... gone back... in a long time... *she trails off as the scene fades away*

<Sara> * Erica takes in a breath, seeming a bit 'empty' for a moment at the sudden scene change

I let you get away with Saoirse as a kid due to your older self, maybe more than I would have due to a woman claiming to be you. (the old man lets in a breath, wheezing, having things attached to his body to let him breathe)
