<Seraphna> Luci> "So Twilight hired us?"
<DeathStar> <Asarar> They have sent the money ahead of time and given us plenty of resources to do it
<Sathen> Jelly> "So we're going after jerk-face? About time."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> They requested to remain anonymous. But you can assume what you want
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar taps another button and bring up an image on the screen of the back rooms where Cam'dee works
<Jackieness> <Kira> *enters the room, wearing her motorcycle leathers*

<Sara> * Chelsea looks
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I've gone back pretty far to check on Cam'dee.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Here she is when she first met this man. 6* Cam'dee can be seen doing work, able to finally move about thanks to Chelsea. She still seems sullen, when a man with shades, and wearing a long coat, various tech all over him, walks up and strikes a conversation in the back
<DeathStar> <Asarar> This is in the back rooms, and there is a device that is making it nearly impossible to pick up their conversation. *she hits the play volume and their voices are just not quite being picked up*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> However, this man underestimated me
<Sathen> 6*Jelly head-tilts, smiling slightly at Asarar's statement of her skill*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> The first three visits was him getting to know Cam, and warming up - it seems they shared a true connection. At her anger toward Sen, etc.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> It wasn't until this visit. *she jumps ahead to the fourth visit and hits play, tapping something to get past the feed*
<DeathStar> <Tech Man> Tell me, Cam, What do you think about the Corporations that keep people down? You have a problem with Sen and the PResident, but at least they try to keep them in check
<DeathStar> <Cam'dee> I can't say I like them much either. My friends here are constantly trying to fight them

<Sathen> Jelly> "She could have seen it a couple months ago when we thought we had retrieved her body from the Psycho-Cops..."

<Sathen> Jelly> "You all were off playing around on the ship...I was here. She was here. He showed up outside and was looking at the body. I don't know if she looked out at him, I was busy keeping the cops from getting upstairs."

<Sathen> 6*Miyasha rubs up against Shion's leg, mewing up at her*
<DeathStar> 6* Shion studies in the direction of the Hapian Castle. Outside, the leaders of the various kingdoms that have joined Miyuki are gathering
<DeathStar> 6* Casually planning how to move their armies
<DeathStar> <Magi> Which do you favor again? Fire or water?
<Seraphna> Alita> "Fire."
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki holds her head slightly, having not slept properly as of late, feeling the world wobble a little as she moved to join the others down stairs
<DeathStar> 6* Shion studies the Daemon Empress, Qui, the Ent Queen, and Kalam
<DeathStar> 6* They have portals opened up, their armies filling the area up. The students stare at the thousands of troops coming in

<DeathStar> 6* The Magi hands her the script of Infero of the Sky. Lumi has the leaders of the Tamae "disposed of" inside the temples, against their wishes, so none can report back to the Holy Army
<Chaintan> 6*she sighs, feeling the weight of her choice already, thinking of how best to explain this to them
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen muses, wondering how two of the tomes got to the magi tamae before Alita began looking
<DeathStar> 6* Shion pats Miyuki
<Sathen> 6*Miyasha jumps up to the railing, balancing there and butting her head against Shion reassuringly* "Mew"

<Seraphna> * Alita takes it and puts it away for study, bowing. "Thank you. Let me know when you need some more help."

<DeathStar> 6* Celes goes to join Miyuki, too. Wearing some of Liana's old armor, their baby on her hip, bundled up

<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki moves to gather the students before her
<DeathStar> <Gi> I fear the Holy Army will learn of the forces we are gathering soon
<DeathStar> 6* The large number of student body gathers, peering at Miyuki. No doubt the rogue magi is among them
<DeathStar> 6* Karen studies their faces, trying to figure out who. Miyuki's units stand off to the side all proper and ready to go at her order
<Seraphna> * Alita bows again and moves to take her leave and join the others.

<Chaintan> 6*she looks over all of them, genuinly meaning it as she gazes over all of them
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> I know that you have notice that, there is something a miss....a change in the air and I wish I could simply ease your worries, and tell you it was nothing but a fleeting sensation of worry and doubt
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> however, in all good conscience I cannot. I am your headmistress, it is my duty to look after all of you as if you were my own.

<Chaintan> <Miyuki> we....are being driven to a war we do not want
<DeathStar> 6* The kids peer at one another, except one or two who peer at Miyuki. A few might even appear sinister

<Seraphna> * Alita looks over the kids as that happens, making note of the faces of the girls suspected of being the Magi.
<Kemonohime> * Vyvy looks glum-- on top of worn out due to the lacking darkness
<DeathStar> 6* Spira gropes Vyvy to get her energetic
<DeathStar> 6* Giant trees come through the portal, stomping about - slowly
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> I only wish to spare you this burden, I will fight alongside my fellows...to protect you all and the future we fought so hard to forge together, your futures. It will be frightful and uncertain these times ahead, but I promise you my children, I will make it so it is short, and in time it will seem as if it was only a nightmare in the night

<DeathStar> 6* Several of Alita's race moves to join her, due to her and her sister having saved them, they seemed to have become the defacto leader
<Seraphna> * Alita blinks a bit at this, petting Talia on her shoulder.
<DeathStar> 6* The students seem energized by Miyuki's speech, moving to get ready
<DeathStar> <Karen> *to Vyvy* You up for a war?

<Kemonohime> <Vyvy> It's one of the main things I intended to avoid. Why do you ask?

<DeathStar> 6* Karen peers out at Celsius flexing her muscles and puching the air, oblivious to war is
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki sighs, pressing her hands over her heart as she relaxed for the moment
<Seraphna> * Alita makes sure the daemon kids are all ready while she watches short hair move to the bunker.
<Kemonohime> <Vyvy> You're right, of course, but then perhaps it's time to teach some of the warmongers why I wished to avoid it.
<DeathStar> 6* Undine is with the Amazons, preparing to head out at the signal. The 4 leaders have spread out to their various troops

<DeathStar> 6* Isis comes down and kisses Miyuki, putting a tiny flag in her hand to wave. It has kittens as the school's flag
<Kemonohime> <Vyvy> My purpose hasn't changed, so I won't betray the three great spirits at my side. I'll make as short work of it as possible.

<Kemonohime> * Vyvy closes her eyes and takes a frustrated breath before eyeing Karen in surprise.
<Kemonohime> <Vyvy> You tried to sacrifice me." She snorts.

<DeathStar> 6* Isis smiles, returning to head back to the school to watch over it with Lumi, to protect the cubs and the younger students, all dizzy

<DeathStar> 6* Assuming Liana and Kasha updated Sasha, in the safe zones, it is 2 days later

<Kemonohime> * Kasha would have left it for Liana to update Sasha, having been making visits to the shrine at Eve's allowance, though never with any scrutinizing circumstances such as breaking in, seeming to visit just as much to encounter Eve as Aska.
<DeathStar> 6* Kasha would have been under heavy guard each time to make it so no questions could be asked that might effect Aska
<DeathStar> 6* But it does make it so Eve relaxzes
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen muses, flipping through a book
<Sara> * Liana meanwhile wouldn't have been able to tell Sasha anything about the Aska stuff

<Kemonohime> * Kasha leans back, glancing around for Aska, or her aspect.

<Jackieness> <Asha> "Eyes have moved to some of the others and off of me. This pretense that I have erected is no longer needed. Tell me everything."
<DeathStar> <Leeik> Um, we do not know much. <Neek> Our purpose was just to show you all points of interest, which we have been doing so
<Kemonohime> * Kasha leans forward to the guards watching her and makes a somewhat impish smile, unlike her blank, rather drowsy normal visage. "Say, if you two can pass a word along like you said..."

<Kemonohime> <Kasha> You can let Eve know that I'll stretch my legs for her. I doubt she wants to be on the frontline.

<DeathStar> <Leeik> And we took both of them to the altar, where we played with the spirit training course and Kasha asked Aska questions
<DeathStar> <Leeik> I took Liana out of there to protect her
<DeathStar> <Neek> I stayed behind since Kasha is my charge
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Liana passed along what she ahd seen. What did Aska have to say?"
<DeathStar> <Neek> She just..talked to KAsha until Eve showed up.
<DeathStar> <Neek> She seemed a little crazy
<DeathStar> <Neek> I thought for sure Eve was going to read her mind with her staff
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Her staff?"
<DeathStar> <Neek> Yeah. She can do that but it drains her
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "What do you know of this staff?"
<DeathStar> <Leeik> She keeps it on her person at all times. The top of it glows with a crystal that fits it.
<Sara> * Liana, listening, gives a slight frown at Eve's sceptre being able to mind-read
<Sara> * And wonders to herself if her ring protects from anything like that
<DeathStar> <Leeik> She also as her holy armor that seems super strong. She takes no damage in battle
<DeathStar> <Leeik> And Aska seems with her at all times when she leaves
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "How odd... I had not known Eve to possess such an item in the past."

<DeathStar> 6* Gwen nods his head politely, then jerks as the door bangs open and Eve stands there with guards, looking livid

<Sathen> 6*Mykel is standing against a nearby wall, looking back towards the doorway and Eve.*

<DeathStar> 6* The two little fauna maids tremble
<DeathStar> <Lady Eve> I would see all of you now. *She smacks her sceptre down*
<Sara> * Liana peers out of the room that Sasha and the fauna were in
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen walks over casually, all good natured
<DeathStar> <Julius> *smiles at Mykel, playing with his sword*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *steps out of the room* "Cousin, what has raised your ire?"
<Sathen> 6*Mykel arches an eyebrow towards Julius inquisitorially, moving to sit quietly*

<DeathStar> <Eve> That headmistress has raised an army against me. And the Amazons have betrayed me
<DeathStar> <Eve> Has she sent you as spies?
<DeathStar> 6* Julius smiles at Mykel coldly, since he set up the deal with the Amazons
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I know nothing of any army. She must have moved swiftly indeed once we left."
<DeathStar> <Eve> So you are not here to attack me or overthrow me?
<Sara> <Liana> No... *she appears upset at the news*
<Sara> * Murmuring Celes' name
<Sathen> Mykel> "Conniving...I guess Qui has picked up more from her people than I thought she was capable of."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "By what chance of success? We stand in the middle of the strongest fortress of Geyze. What chance would we have of any success from in here?"
<DeathStar> 6* Eve studies Sasha harshly, then turns, motioning them to follow. Julius leans in. "If I find out you are behind something, I will remember this, cousin. You have cost me points with Lady Eve."

<DeathStar> 6* Gwen follows and the maids stay behind, demurely

<DeathStar> 6* Lady Eve walks along to the throne room to where special magic is set up to show an overview of Geyze
<Sathen> 6*Mykel stares back at his cousin but will follow along after the others*
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> And why I went to speak again," she sighs. "Do you forget so quickly what I told you, Lady Eve?"
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> If you told me why you wanted the reigns so badly, that I would aid you. And tell me you did.
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> I figured my sister would be acting about now-- with the holy army you raised, her hand would be pressed to act before it was too late to do so.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *glances at Kasha*
<DeathStar> <Jules> *Grumbles along*
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> That nine-tailed 'great mother' isn't the only nine tail anymore.
<DeathStar> <Eve> I am about to show you much more than that, Kasha
<DeathStar> <Eve> We gave your sister that land long ago when she came begging to us
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> Yes. I watched from afar." She smiles.
<DeathStar> <Eve> *points at the arial view of the land, and Gwen leans forward, peering down at what looks like miniture shuttle launch pads*

<DeathStar> <Eve> In 48 hours, we will be fully capable of intercepting anything launched toward our planet with the magic of light and fire. And retaliating if needbe. We also have just received a magical force field from a powerful magi

<DeathStar> <Eve> And the forces of darkness now march on us for this
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> I'm surprised to trust any magi that much

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "As long as we are not the belligerent in any conflict with Kumen, I have no issue with this." *waves her hand*
<DeathStar> <Eve> I am glad. Then you have no problem in facing this army that is approaching>?
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> Belligerent or not, can burn that rock out of the heavens for all I care.

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I would prefer words to stop this world from tearing itself apart."
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> It's a dead moon that had its chance and continues to exist leeching off this world, while blaming it for its problems.

<Kemonohime> <Kasha> There's limits to being ungrateful.

<Sathen> 6*Mykel stands quietly to the side, looking between Eve and Jules at the decision that they're going to fight*
<DeathStar> <Eve> My others had counciled me on waiting for them to strike the first blow
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> I care little for needless death, but to cause war when seeking charity is another matter.
<DeathStar> <Eve> But you speak sense
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> Don't misunderstand, kiddo
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> If you want to strike them just because some gibbering old men tell you to, then you're not any better than they are.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Kasha... you're the one who just built a case for striking first..."

<Kemonohime> <Kasha> I'm a mother, too. I don't like seeing my kids suffer for others' stupidity.

<DeathStar> <Eve> I am fine. I cannot afford much sleep until the protective field is up in a few more days
<Sathen> Mykel> "No idea...perhaps pull the trigger to blow up the world itself?"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> We have to trust she has some plan
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Eve is listening to her so far. So unless we plan to stab Eve in her sleep

<Kemonohime> <Kasha> That can't be healthy. Are you actually needed to remain spirit magic, or are you simply unable to rest?
<DeathStar> <Eve> *gives a smile* I have much to do, that is all. Did you need something?
<Sara> <Liana> And... If one gets too deep into a story, they may forget they are not the character...
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *lets out a breath* "Quite. We are going to need to go out there and convince the headmistress to move her army out of sight before this escalates."
<Sathen> Mykel> "Should we take this opportunity of chaos to act and get your bond completed Commander?"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I mean, we know where the altar is. Sasha could try to steal Aska, I suppose - Assuming she went back there. We could try to kill Eve, steal the staff while she sleeps
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> On the contrary. I can match my sister, but I have to wonder, you mentioned innocents of Kumen, and there's one curious one that comes to my mind in that very academy.
<DeathStar> <Eve> While most of Kumen is of darkness, there are innocents there. It is why I have not struck it first, or threatened to do so
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I could try... but soemthing doesn't feel right. What are we missing?"
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> You've probably had some manner of eyes on her, she was an aide to the amazonian's new queen, in addition to a holder of pacts with numerous Great Spirits, most notably, Shade.

<DeathStar> <Eve> I am unsure if I met her or not. I probably did, in another life
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Eve's staff. These priests whose order I do not recognize."
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> No doubt if we are in true conflict of arms, she will be a factor as well. But seeing as you hold Aska, I can't imagine her aim would be to raze the fields themselves, but to aim for you.
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> After all, if she wrestles you or Aska, it would avoid direct conflict from continuing further, correct?
<DeathStar> <Eve> She is not a concern right now. I have too much on my mind
<Sathen> Mykel> "Would your Aunt be able to answer your question?"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We should pay our respects to the empress before we leave, yes."

<DeathStar> 6* By now, almost 98% of the forces are through

<DeathStar> 6* And standing on the battle field is Kasha in golden armor, given to her by Eve

<DeathStar> 6* The leaders of the various armies quickly order the armies to spread out against the enemy leaders. Jules is there, but further back, on the spaceport complex, obviously the leader of it. But a lot of Holy Order generals are before them, including Kasha
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> that clashes with her hair and eye color
<DeathStar> <Shion> I know we sent her there to spy, but this is a bit much

<DeathStar> <Shion> According to intellgience, if we take down this spaceport, it will cripple Eve's ability to attack Kumen
<DeathStar> 6* so far Mykel is still out of range

<Sara> * Liana curtseys
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Who are the priests who roam free about the palace? I do not recognize their order."
<DeathStar> <Empress> They are Eve's. They are part of her Holy Order now

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And yet they could not have materialized out of no where..."
<Sathen> Mykel> "We can't spare too much more time Sasha."
<DeathStar> <Empress> *smiles bitterly* I suppose when fanatacism is always beneath the surface
<DeathStar> <Empress> Or perhaps Eve just brings it out now
<DeathStar> <Empress> With light tipping the balance, those who lean more toward show more symptons with time
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...yes, of course, Mykel. The other question... where did Eve get her staff?"

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *nods* "We leave you now." *backs away the court proper distance before finally turning away*
<Sara> <Liana> I know I am not much part of this family myself... but it pains me that we stand so divided, in so many difficult situations. *she says before curtseying again, ready to follow Sasha*

<Sara> * Erica frowns, mostly having picked herself back up from what happened previously, even if the weight on her is still heavy
<Seraphna> * Cookie offers ice cream cake to Erica.
<Sathen> 6*Kaylin sits down in the armory and cleans her weapons*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> It sounds like they are tearing themselves apart back there
<Sara> * Erica eyes it skeptically, as if her eyes are saying, "Really?"
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty still is locked up in her room
<Sara> <Erica> ...Yeah.
<DeathStar> 6* Samson muses, hand on his lips
<Seraphna> * Cookie pouts.
<DeathStar> <Samson> We can't get back there in time with light speed. *he notes, simply, turning and moving off*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> That is true. Only the spirit engines could do hat

<Jackieness> <Airym> "Attempting to intercede may not provide any positive benefits."

<Sara> <Erica> *after a pause* ... If it's this bad, the President could be in trouble. Perhaps it's our duty to go back.
