<DeathStar> 6* She rolls her eyes behind the shades, then peers at Cookie, frowning, and turns into a fox and gets out of his grip and bounds back over

<Seraphna> * Cookie sits up and fixes her loose twintail and looks down again. "Something's going on below us."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> *she turns back into her human form* Let go. Now. Something is up

<Seraphna> Cookie> "The swell of anger turned into a killing intent."
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki moves over to where Yuki is and taps a console and tries to see what Cookie is sensing

<DeathStar> 6* Tora's security is getting between them, breaking them up, with Sen leading them

<DeathStar> 6* The protestors seem to get riled up more at seeing Sen's security, though the spirit group tries to touch Sen. This makes it harder and Sen gets knocked down, not at her best being pregnant

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki leads them over to something she had Chelsea make
<Seraphna> * Cookie follows her.
<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe heads down
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki steps into a place with tubes and buckles in
<Sara> * Erica follows Yuki
<Seraphna> * Cookie gets in and buckles.
<DeathStar> 6* She then hits a button and is fired down from the ship, flying down 80 stories rapidly until it deploys a breaking mechanism, ala a ride. Yuki wooooo's the entire time, coming to a land near the protestors

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki steps out of her chute
<Seraphna> * Cookie squeals as she goes down and eeeps, then giggles and smiles.
<Sara> * Erica takes a loooong breath after she comes out of her chute
<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe deadpans
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki walks over to the protestors, then pauses, and pushes Bigby at them
<Seraphna> * Cookie blinks and tilts her head.
<Jackieness> <Airym> *uses the ship's comm system to 'borrow' some of the street level cameras to keep an eye on the situation*
<DeathStar> 6* Most of them have been subdued, but a few of them are still giving Sen's guards troubles. Sen meanwhile is holding her head, trying to swat off the spirit lovers who want to touch her
<Sara> <Erica> What's with THOSE guys? *she gestures at the ones bothering Sen*
<DeathStar> 6* One person uses a spray to permenantly blind the spirit lover groups
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Don't know. I didn't know anyone on Kumen loved spirits
<Sara> <Erica> And thaaaat seems a bit brutal
<Seraphna> * Cookie blinks and holds out her hands, trying to use her illusion to hide Sen so she can get away, making it look like she vanished. <Sen, try to get away if this works.>
<DeathStar> 6* Mireille appears beside Erica suddenly, getting the attention of both groups with how she floated down and both sides, about 20 people, surge forward
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Ack!
<DeathStar> *Yuki hops behind Erica*
<Jackieness> <Airym> *tries to raise the water pressure in the fire extinguishing system on the road (i.e. pop the fire hydraunts at the crowd)
<Sara> * Erica takes a battle stance and cringes. "Hey now, you could at least invite us out to dinner first!" she jokes bitterly.
<Sara> <Erica> Someone want to explain all this? Anyone?
<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe grumbles and picks up Sen
<DeathStar> <Spirit Worshippers> It is a spirit! <Protestors> It is one of those who wrecked our planet!
<Seraphna> <Cookie> "Oh boy..."
<DeathStar> 6* Nothing works, sadly. Being in the slummish area
<DeathStar> 6* Sen blinks at Wolfe
<Jackieness> <Airym> *comm* "Captain, poor maintenance has limited my ability to aid you. I would advise you to retreat."
<Chaintan> <Wolfe> you know, pregnant women are meant to be off their feet but not like that
<Chaintan> 6*He cracks his neck and knuckles

<DeathStar> 6* A few men grab Erica, trying to disable her while another punches at her. Yuki pops up to punch at that one
<DeathStar> 6* Mean while Mireille is grabbed and carried off by the worshippers --- leaving only 7 angry men

<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe bristles
<Sara> * Erica uses her Energy Wave, stomping the ground to create a wave that knocks a couple of people over
<Chaintan> <Wolfe> better hold on tight
<Seraphna> * Cookie uses Scramble slam one attack to stun him.
<Sara> * Hopefully the ones trying so tough to grab her
<DeathStar> 6* Erica knocks the ones holding her and attakcing

<Jackieness> <Airym> *tries to keep track of Mireille as best she can*

<Sara> <Erica> Bigby, Mireille's up to you! *she starts punching at anyone who gets close to her*
<DeathStar> 6* The spirit worshippers jerk at Wolfe

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki joins, breaking bones at the ones knocked over. The ones on the ground quickly retreat.
<DeathStar> 6* The angry protestors wanting to get away seeing Erica and Cookie have powers
<DeathStar> 6* The spirit protects gently set Mireille down as if she were a dainty rose, bowing before her and touching her - all over to get her power
<DeathStar> *worshipers
<Seraphna> Cookie> "Pleae don't touch a spirit without it's permission."
<Sara> <Erica> Oy, shits-for-brains! You keep this shit up and I promise you more of the same! *she yells at the ones trying to escape*
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki watches the angry ones leave - at least the ones who can move, then runs off in Wolfe's direction
<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe snorts slightly as he picks up Mireille and snarls
<DeathStar> 6* They flinch at Wolfe, mumuring that he is not a true believer and must be the one who keeps the spirits from them
<Chaintan> 6*before carrying them back
<Sara> <Erica> Mireille, you should get away from those creepers!
<Sara> * She moves after Yuki
<Seraphna> Cookie> "Well at least the swell of anger and violence is disappating..."
<DeathStar> <Mireille> Why? They seemed nice. One gave me candy

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki eyes them, still prostated on the ground before Mireille, slithering to keep proper distance as Wolfe moves away

<DeathStar> <Mireille> *she tilts her head, confused at that*
<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe resumes barking at them

<Sara> <Erica> Sure, but these are what we call "creepers" and "abusers"
<Seraphna> Cookie> "These people are really quick to forming faith..."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Well, the world did start coming alive
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki checks up to see if Salamander is on the ship, and sees she left to do her daily search
<Sara> <Erica> They say that anyone who can do something like a miracle -- real or fake -- is bound to be seen as a god for a time
<DeathStar> <Sen> We've had scattered reports of churches popping up, but we didn't think it was this bad yet.
<Chaintan> <Wolfe> Erica, might taking Sen and Mireille inside while I see about getting these guys to go?

<Sara> <Erica> Good luck, Bigby. *she nods* Come along, Mireille dear.
<Seraphna> Cookie> "S'what I'm saying, I know it could be seen as a miracle but I don't think even Jesus had this kind of charisma, and he was actively preaching."
<DeathStar> 6* They chant in some made up language that sounds like a mix of all the worship languages

<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe swaps into Wolfe form and runs about barking

<DeathStar> <Yuki> Both worlds, the Catholic Church doesn't have a huge power base due to aliens anymore - this one due to only one planet left and the Corps, and mine due to the suisen Empire ruling things
<DeathStar> <Yuki> But you never know when fortunes will change

<DeathStar> 6* They finally flee
<Seraphna> * Cookie blinks abit and nods. "I guess so."

<DeathStar> 6* Tora and Sen stand, having brought data cubes
<DeathStar> <Tora> This is what we have on the rising Spirit Churches
<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe lays on his back, waiting for belly rubs and praise in wolf form
<Sara> <Erica> I guess it was inevitable... anything can be a religion if it's strong or amazing enough to be truly "incredible"
<DeathStar> 6* She sits down and puts the data cube in. Yuki rises forward and watches as images appear of Salamander in the sky knocking their ship silly, then water exploding over the city, but clearly a woman in it, and of Mireille out on the roof sometimes playing, and of Cam'dee when she was exposed
<DeathStar> 6* Rika pets him
<Chaintan> 6*he wags and chews on a squeak toy
<DeathStar> <Tora> Their creed is that the spirits wish to be worshipped for finally blessing Kumen with life, and if that they do, and bring them to a place of worship, Kumen's trees will soon get even more alive - like with fruit
<Sara> <Erica> People fear what they don't understand, and sometimes that breeds belief in other things... or sometimes the very things they don't understand. If we didn't know there were people on other worlds I'm sure we would fear the idea of people from other worlds too
<DeathStar> <Tora> So far it's still small, but apparantly they are more radical than we thought
<Sara> * Erica nods, taking in the information
<Sara> <Erica> I really didn't like the way they were treating Mireille...
<DeathStar> <Yuki> So far no contact with Salamander
<DeathStar> <Mireille> *suckles on her candy*
<Seraphna> Cookie> "Huh... umm..."
<Sara> <Erica> Let's hope they haven't captured her somehow
<Seraphna> Cookie> "Doesn't this creed sound like a clever way to get people to kidnap a spirit?"
<DeathStar> <Mireille> They told me they had lots of cake and songs for me when I got there. I wanted to hear the songs

<Sara> <Erica> It unfortunately does. If the spirits -are- to be worshipped then they need to take some sort of charge of this worship and make sure it doesn't become like celebrity worship
<Seraphna> Cookie> "It's just odd so many people have decided what the spirits want for them. Clearly no one's actually asked... still, it would be interesting to figure out who is preaching this creed, and what corp they work for... if my hunch is correct."
<Sara> <Erica> Maybe they do, maybe they don't. Either way, we should investigate and see if we can figure out what happened to our hothead.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I'll send out feelers.
<Sara> * Erica nods to her
<Jackieness> <Airym> *scans for unusual temperature spikes on Kumen*
<Kemonohime> * Saoirse asks Yulindhe if she can feel her out
<DeathStar> 6* so far nothing, but that doesn't mean Salamander will stand out unless she is going nova/very pissed
<DeathStar> <Yulindhe> Me? Um... no. But I probably wouldn't unless she was close. I guess we could move about the city.

<Jackieness> <Airym> *tries filtering ambient comm traffic, listening in for spirit news*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Lets do a field trip then. It wouldn't hurt to learn more. So far these spirit churches seem to be low level/mid level
<Sara> <Erica> Agreed. Dress in your Sunday best, people
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Heaven help us if it reaches the upper levels. Then that means the corporations will likely have gotten in on it

<DeathStar> 6* Asarar reads up on the incident at the Presidental Tower and these spirit churches cropping up, before logging off the computer and rising
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty starts getting ready for a jog, Mochi loves and kneads on Asarar
<DeathStar> 6* Cam'dee, quiet and dejected these days, peers outside at people from a spirit church passing out pamplets from their church to people, since the area is so rich in life
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar picks Mochi up and walks along. Brooke does the wave downstairs

<DeathStar> "Have you thought about giving your heart to the spirits? Look around you at all the life they have given to you and Kumen. The spirits are here to give us a second chance. Do not let this chance pass by. Come to the Church of the Spirits at *address here* to learn what they want from you". <Young Man> The good word is that the spirits are back - here at Kumen

<DeathStar> 6* Then two balls of fire, small spirits, float about, chasing after Ymir

<DeathStar> 6* He cries for joy, pointing, and runs off to tell his superiors
<Kemonohime> <Ylva> Ymir..!" She chases
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty turns and squints
<DeathStar> 6* Two small water spirits float about, chasing Ylva for am oment, but once Ymir gets in the club, shutting the door, the fire spirits get bored and float off

<Kemonohime> * She glances up.
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki walks over, holding up her datapad and tries to figure out what they are.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> *she also tells the others, including Arhyn, what she is seeing - and her location*
<DeathStar> 6* The crowd inside the club goes wild with Kira. Cypher leans at the bar, unaware of the events outside, as Ymir runs up to the bar and orders a fruity alcoholic drink, looking frazzled
<Seraphna> Luci> "What the heck is going on out there?"
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty gently palms the fire and lightly scratches it if it were a pet
<Chaintan> <Kitty> hey there, mind showing me where the rest of you is?
<DeathStar> 6* The water spirit and fire spirit just bounce on their hands, playful it seems. It seems the planet is now starting to get it's own small spirits due to how long Brooke and Salamander is there
<DeathStar> 6* It wiggles, apparantly it being it's own entity, but then it wiggles, understanding she means she wants to see it's boss, Salamander
<Kemonohime> * Ylva shrugs a little and plays with them a bit with her hood still drawn.

<DeathStar> 6* The water spirits splash on Ylva. Down the road, more water spirits splash on kids
