<DeathStar> 6* Shion sits in her office after her mother left her, trying to keep the school together.
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen sits in his room, relaxing, as Leaf returns with Kaylin to the Academy, done showing her around the forest. The rabbit is resting on Shion's desk, which is why Kaylin hasn't broken down yet.
<Sathen> *Kaylin smiles and giving Leaf a hug moves off towards a guest room to get some rest some*
<DeathStar> 6* Shion gets a beep as the Inner Council tries to contact Miyuki; with her gone, she moves to step into the chamber.
<Sathen> *Maeryn is resting against her panther out in a clearing, having spent the night out in the forest*
<DeathStar> 6* All the areas appear. The Legion place has been dead for months now, but it, too appears, surprising Shion.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *is walking back toward the team six temple form Cherry's spa*
<DeathStar> <Shion> What is the emergency? *The Hapian council member speaks* "Julius is dead." *Shion narrows her eyes, and finishes conversing a bit before stepping out and hitting the bell to contact the team*
<Sathen> *Maeryn watches quietly as Sasha returns, the panther licking its lips slowly*
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen looks up from his book as the temple building rings and pulls his armor on and slides his swords into his sheathes, then moves for the main temple
<Sara> * Ellie peers out from her room and sighs, moving in response to the bell
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *turns her head as the bell is sounded and changes course for the main temple*
<Sathen> *Mykel looks over from the couch and rises, following after Gwen. Maeryn curious stands and goes along after Sasha, the panther trotting along quietly*

<DeathStar> 6* Shion sits at the headmistress desk, rubbing her finger along it. Musing, as Gwen arrives a few minutes later.

<Sathen> *Mykel moves in after Gwen and takes his usual seat on the couch, pulling his wife into his lap and settling his arms around her comfortably*

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *raises a brow* "He was a warrior. Had his heart been weak, exertion would have struck him dead long ago."
<Sathen> 6*Mykel sighs audibly* "There's goes the best chance of peacefully resolving things with my cousin..."
<DeathStar> <Shion> From what I recall, his body was severely weakened from what had been done to him last year.
<Sathen> *Maeryn just stands quietly in the corner since she doesn't know much of these things*
<DeathStar> <Shion> *she holds the reports from the team's mission*

<Luci> * Alita nods a little. Since she was the one to do so.
<Luci> Alita> "He's family... whatever our differences."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I see... what is the political situation in the Legion?"
<Sathen> 6*Mykel nods and looks to Shion* "Has it been announced when the services will be? And...where?"
<DeathStar> <Shion> I don't know. My contact wouldn't get into that. Just that he was being given a proper burial. *she states, peering at the notes she took, not addressing Mykel yet* And that his family's affairs would be handled afterword.
<DeathStar> <Shion> I would assume allies would be invited and they would know
<DeathStar> 6* Shion sets the notes down.
<Luci> Alita> "We don't know if they're exactly going to lift his orders concerning us either."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "That being said, I doubt his order concerning Mykel has been rescinded."
<Luci> * Alita nods.
<DeathStar> <Shion> From what it sounds like, anything concerning Mykel will be sent to him after the affairs are in order
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Then you will have to be patient."
<Sara> * Ellie sits solemnly, seeming to have absolutely zero interest in the conversation even though it concerns the team
<Sathen> Mykel> "Most likely not...word that I could attend in lieu of the banishment would have come with the notification."
<Luci> Alita> "Mykel still has a legitimate claim, but he's also a bit down the line from at least one other person..."
<DeathStar> <Shion> Anyway, like I said, only allies would know when and where it is taking place. *She nods to them* You're dismissed

<Sathen> 6*Mykel pats Alita's arm before standing* "You'd be surprised how often that doesn't matter in the Legion; atleast according to some of the histories...but that's neither here nor there."
<Sathen> 6*Maeryn moves off quietly, the panther following after her*
<Luci> * Alita nods. "I suppose. I'd just feel better if we didn't have a death sentence over our head in a region we will likely need to visit soon."
<Sara> * Ellie eagerly leaves the room, with the others who are leaving. Liana sort of wanders out of it slowly, with her daughter in hand

<Sathen> 6*Mykel steps closer to Shion's desk* Separately, has there been any word about the request for the Academy being brought in under the Legion Shield?

<Sathen> *Mykel starts going through weapon forms with his sword, hopefully the Nymph's will leave him be as he tries to blow off steam and not cause a scene*

<Sathen> 6*Mykel spins in his workout and levels the blade towards Shade, seeming to be breathing hard*

<Luci> * Alita nods. "He's... extremely frustrated at the outcome. Growing up without a family only to have circumstances and bad times seperate you from the family you find..."
<Luci> Alita> "It's a terrible temptation. I worry about him."
<Sathen> 6*Mykel lowers the weapon to his side and bows his head slightly* "My apologies M'Lady...can I help you?"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Rather than Qui, first try to see if Shion can send his personal letter through the Academy's intermediaries so that it does not appear that Mykel is being evasive. Julius' loyalists may place blame upon Mykel, and we must be careful not to give them anything that they can use to further discredit or even justify retaliation."
<Luci> * Alita nods, smiling. "Okay, I'll do that."
<DeathStar> <Shade> I should ask you that. You are worrying my nymphs

<DeathStar> <Shion> I have been working through the Naturalists to join the Legion Shield. Our relationship with the Legion has been strained, as many of you know, and right now they are mourning the loss of their former leader.

<DeathStar> <Shion> We are having to bend to a few of their demands, but hopefully when this is over, we will have protection from spirits being able to be taken from us as well.
<Sara> <Liana> He was a great man.
<DeathStar> <Shion> All of you will have a day free from classes, while I need unit 6 for now.

<Sathen> 6*Mykel nods and keeps his hands clasped behind him* "We can only know what they'll be like after they arrive."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Have they indicated any requirements that my team will have to accomodate?"
<DeathStar> 6* Shion hands them some pamplets on what she is willing to give up and what she is not
<DeathStar> <Shion> You'll be on Qui's land. So I am sure accomodations will be handled there
<Luci> * Alita nods some more and peers over the list.
<Sathen> *Mykel takes the pamphlet with a hand that seems to be tenser than usual*
<Sara> * Ellie glances at the pamplet

<DeathStar> 6* It seems she is not willing to give up ownership of the school, it's spirits, the students, etc.
<DeathStar> 6* Some of the land is fine, but not the grotto since that's Shade's now
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And if they request that Mykel be handed over to them to face 'justice' for Jule's death?"
<DeathStar> 6* And she's not willing to give up control of missions

<Sathen> Mykel> <Aye, I know that...but I can't help but feel like there's a trap in this somewhere...> "I fall under the category of 'student' I believe."
<DeathStar> <Shion> Since he had nothing to do with that, I would tell you all to turn around and leave
<Sara> <Liana> *whispering* Sister-in-law... No one is to blame for Julius' death, and Jules is just fine

<Luci> Alita> "The concern there is more Jules trying to get back for us all besmirching his honor by having a bunch of women beat him up while Mykel watched. But... the threat should be penance enough."
