<DeathStar> 6* As they get back, Qui seems not to be around, probably gone back to the Amazons, but there is a lot of Legion officals, by the looks of it Senate due to their expensive looking robes. They sit on expensive rugs, servants giving them drinks

<Sara> * Liana, having headed back with the others, glances around. She stops next to one. "Excuse me. Is there a special occasion?"
<Sathen_Gor> *Mykel stops in his tracks and looks at the gathered senators, instantly on guard* <Indeed>
<DeathStar> 6* The five senators rise, peering Liana and the group over, mostly older men in their 50s. Gwen makes a slight face as he comes to a stop. The Senators motion, having their servants dust their robes off, then turn to face the group, not seeing Sasha.
<DeathStar> 6* Finally, one of the senators speak. "We came to speak to the Unit 6's leader. We heard it was a black haired woman."
<Xanatos> 6* Simons pauses in step and pulls his arms behind his back.

<Luci> * Alita watches, seeing as Liana is in charge and has the Hapian royalty chops to push back with.

<Sathen_Gor> *Mykel glances between the Senators, noting specifically which one has spoken and whom they're seeming to ignore*
<DeathStar> 6* Celes narrows her eyes, adjusting her own dark, black hair, in annoyance, but stands behind Liana, not looking like much of a leader right now due to her clothing
<Sara> <Liana> I am in charge at this time.
<Sara> <Liana> My name is Liana Windrunner-Hapian.

<DeathStar> 6* The Senator looks at Liana, taking in her red hair, then speaks. "We are the top Senators of the Legion Republic. We came to speak with one of your people. A Mykel. We have need of his aid and of your group, Liana Windrunner Hapian." *he says, not losing his expression, despite a few blinks from the other Senators*

<Luci> * Alita blinks a little. <Strange, since we're supposedly not allowed anywhere near the Legion still?>
<Sara> * Liana looks over to Mykel and gestures him over
<Sathen_Gor> *Mykel raises an eyebrow slightly as he steps forward while looking the senator in the eye* I'm Mykel. <They're not supporting Jules it seems>
<Luci> * Alita peers them over carefully now.
<DeathStar> <Senator> I am the Senator Leader, Senator Michil. You are part of the royal family. We heard about your banishment.
<Sathen_Gor> *Mykel is steadfast, not moving* I'm surprised Jules would have spoken about that. What can I do for you Senator?
<DeathStar> <Senator Michil> Kaiser Jules is not popular among the senate. His recent actions have alienated him. The nobility wish change. I know the academy has an alliance with him. But you are part of the academy and you are part of the royal family. We will help you enter the Legion if you help us.
<DeathStar> 6* Michil keeps his gaze steadfast on Mykel, making his meaning clear.
<DeathStar> <Senator Michil> Help your kingdom, Mykel.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon watches the expressions on each of the senator's faces, then glances to Mykel.
<Sara> * Liana's expression falls just a bit
<DeathStar> 6* They keep their expressions neutral; perfect poker faces
<Luci> * Alita frowns a bit.
<Sara> <Liana> I understand your cause, gentlemen. Please allow me to convene with my team.
<DeathStar> 6* The senators bow.
<Sara> * Liana leads the others to talk in private
<DeathStar> <Senator Michil> We understand. We will be leaving in the hour
<DeathStar> 6* They move back to their flying carriage
<Xanatos> 6* Simon bows slightly before turning to step off tot he side with Liana.
<Sathen_Gor> Mykel> As much as I do not agree with some of Jules's actions... *looks to Liana and nods his head* You'll have your answer soon enough.
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen follows with Liana
<DeathStar> 6* Celes eyes them, then turns to follow Liana to the temple
<Luci> * Alita moves along with the others.
<DeathStar> <Celes> The gall coming here to ask that
<Sara> * Liana waits until she's alone with the others to speak. "Jules may have made some questionable actions, however he has also taken actions that have benefitted many. I believe that you know this as well, Mykel."
<Sathen_Gor> *Mykel glances to Alita and gives her a small smile as he follows after them; Maeryn walking along and watching*
<Luci> Alita> "I expect this means they asked Hapes first and he rejected the idea. Coming to an exile like this is a strange move... It worries me."
<Sathen_Gor> Mykel> Aye, I'm aware of it...
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia moves with her twin
<Xanatos> <Simon> Perhaps some cliff notes for the new person?
<Sara> * Ellie just seems a bit bemused.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Mykel is the cousin to the Legion Kaiser
<DeathStar> <Gwen> He banished him after an incident where Mykel betrayed his trust.l
<Xanatos> 6* Simon nods a few times.
<Luci> * Alita sighs. "More likely because he got a thrashing from a group of women while Mykel seemingly just watched it happen. But... we did wound his pride deeply in that."
<Sara> <Liana> I will support you if you want to go with them -- with us accompanying you on this adventure, of course. But I would ask that you try to handle this diplomatically, and under no circumstances should you harm Jules, if you can help it. However, the choice is yours. I don't know these people. I don't know if they're trustworthy or... on the right side. I can't know for certain.
<Sathen_Gor> *Mykel frowns and clenches a fist as he ponders the situation* They couldn't go to Hapes most likely, he's publicly shown his complete support for Jules; speaking with Hapes would have tipped their hand early.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> From what I understand, Mykel held him psionically while it happened
<Luci> Alita> "Yes... though he might not have known that."
<Sara> <Liana> However, even if you side with Jules yourself entirely, we may want to go with them and see their hand ourselves. We could protect him from them just as well.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I doubt it. Either way, Jules believed we had to defend our planet from Kumen and we had to go up against him
<Luci> Alita> *Nods*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Since the person he was allied with was insane and might have attacked Kumen
<Sara> * Liana nods to Gwen
<DeathStar> <Gwen> It didn't end well since Jules believed in keeping his alliances.
<Xanatos> <Simon> Hm. Sounds like you would like to go either way. 6He notes to Liana.
<Luci> * Alita sighs. "At any rate, this seems... suspicious to me. For all we know those he's alienated are the few that came here."
<Sara> <Liana> Mykel? I would hear your point of view.
<Sathen_Gor> Mykel> The situation with Eve is in the past, it's what to do next that is question...
<Sara> <Liana> Regardless of the details, it is clear we're dealing with some anti-Jules people here, and if it's not us it may be someone else.
<Luci> Alita> "What could he have done since we last met thim to shift opinions like this?"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> No idea. Qui might know
<Sara> <Ellie> I'm gonna chime in here! Um. There's no such thing as a 100% approval rating. *she nods*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> But she refuses to talk about him when Mykel is around
<Sathen_Gor> Mykel> The banishment weighs heavily on me, there's no questioning that and I'd like it lifted; but I won't allow it to come about through harming family. I agree that we're lacking in information at this point.
<Luci> Alita> "Too true.." *she looks at Mykel, that line earning her approval*
<Sara> <Liana> Do you want to go with them, or shall we take another direction in finding out more?
<DeathStar> <Gwen> The fact he's honored the Amazon-Legion treaty says alot

<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia smiles at her husband actually using the brain the spirits gave him
<Luci> Alita> "We could either try and find Qui to find out, or go with them under the guise of agreeing and move as we choose once they fill us in."

<DeathStar> <Gwen> *he studies Mykel, since Mykel has seemed to have a mad on for Jules a while*
<Luci> Alita> "The latter has the chance of Julius getting wind and getting the wrong idea too early."
<Sathen_Gor> Mykel> It's a matter where we can't afford to burn our bridges and ignore the opportunities. They said they wanted to return within the hour, let's see what we can learn in that time?
<DeathStar> <Celes> They are senators. I doubt they will tip their hands
<Luci> Alita> "Can we reach Qui in that time? Or someone else in intelligence?"
<DeathStar> <Celes> If word got back to Jules, they will die
<Luci> * Alita blinks a bit. "Well, Celes knows nobility."
<DeathStar> <Celes> I mean, they could be talking about, overthrowing Jules. They were vague in their wording
<Sara> <Liana> I'm inclined to agree with my wife. Our options for finding out more in a small amount of time are Qui and the Legion's tamae.
<Luci> Alita> "There's the third possibility... but I'm not sure what I'd think of Julius if it were true."
<Sathen_Gor> *Mykel nods to Celes* Hence why I think we need more information.
<Luci> Alita> "That being that this entire thing is a test of Mykel's loyalty."
<Xanatos> <Simon> They used very careful wording.

<Sara> <Liana> Either way, we're on a tight schedule here. Gwen, do you think you'd be able to find Qui for us?
<Luci> Alita> "Jules. Sorry. My brain is in a few spaces at once right now."

<Luci> Alita> "..." *she blushes hard* "I-I multitask is all."

<DeathStar> <Celes> Since the Legion trains with the Amazons now. They might have a spy there seeing if we make contact with Qui. But I can see no way they could get word to the senators here without a spirit. And I doubt Salamander would betray us
<Sathen_Gor> *Mykel takes a settling breath and squeezes Alita and Ceilia's hips before moving back towards where the Senator's carriage is* <I'll keep this open so you can hear anything>
<Sara> <Liana> Qui is one of our own. If they judge us for making contact, then we know perfectly well that we're not dealing with someone we wanna deal with.
<Luci> * Alita muses, thinking carefully. "If they somehow do get word... that spells out a lot of the sort of people we are dealing with then too."

<Xanatos> 6* Simon pauses in looking around and looks back to Jules, peering him over.
<DeathStar> <Jules> The senate has not been happy with me for quite some time since I passed the laws to allow women more rights. I am changing the male dominated society. And betraying things. I am not the man they thought I would be
<DeathStar> 6* Jules rises. "You risked much to come here. Thank you. I will take this warning to heart. *he bows* You can return to the academy now if you wish."
<DeathStar> 6* Jules takes Liana's hand and kisses it.
<Luci> * Alita bows. "Jules?"

<DeathStar> 6* Gwen muses, not sure if they should go, noting Jules didn't tell them to bugger off

<DeathStar> <Jules> I am trying. *he glances at Alita, then simply nods, moving to bow and exit the side door*
<DeathStar> 6* A male servant steps in a moment or two later. "Will you be staying the night or leaving?"
<Luci> * Alita leaves it at that. Since all wounds need time to heal.
<Sara> <Liana> Sister-in-law, perhaps we should stay for the moment? *she looks to Sasha*
<Sara> <Liana> It's been a tiring day with a lot of travel for you and others.
<Luci> * Alita peers to the, clearly going to follow what they want, but adds, "It may not hurt to be close by in case things... spiral."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Very well. We shall not turn down this offer of hospitality."
<Xanatos> <Simon> Plus we may be able to assist here furthur in ways we are not aware of, yet.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> That is true. And Vyvy wants to spirit play
<Kemonohime> * Vyvy sniffs at Gwen's phrasing.
<DeathStar> 6* Gwen smiles. Qui grabs Ellie and moves off for some girl talk
