<DeathStar> <Narrator> Sen and I detected them approaching. We had been debating for days how to deal with it. Kumen could not stand up to what was coming. In the end, time was running out.

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki eyes a checklist, her ear ticking in annoyance at having to do deal with all the extra stuff being added to the Aquarius with Erica not around to do it.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I don't get this rush retrofitting. The Aquarius was already retrofitted since we returned, why would the President call for these experimental stuff to be added?

<Sathen> *Kaylin looks over the weapon technical specs of the new systems being implemented* Unknown, though some of these upgrades are sorely overdue...
<DeathStar> 6* The Aquarius seems to be adding cryogenic chambers, extra layers of shielding for all the radiations, readding a special computer AI, adding special chambers with spirit-tech that seems capable of housing spirits
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Weapons? I'm not seeing much in the way of weapons.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> This retrofitting is all for whacked out stuff
<DeathStar> <Yuki> If anything, we're losing space.
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki taps a screen, showing how they are having to rip out space for Gears and shuttles
<Jackieness> <Airym> "I have not received the mission parameters yet."
<DeathStar> <Mireille> *is quiet, interfacing as the crews add onto the ship*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I wish we still had Kitty. *she tugs on her ears, one of the few that remember what happened to her*
<Sathen> *Kaylin frowns and closes the spec sheet* I guess reading up on what the corporations are developing in terms of weaponry is pointless then.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "While we could supplement our offensive capabilities via external modules, such is not on the refit schedule."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Whatever weapon upgrades we got, we got during the first retrofit.
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki crosses her arms, tapping her foot
<DeathStar> <Yuki> This is maddening. I don't get this.
<Sathen> *Kaylin nods before looking to Yuki* But those weren't nearly sufficient during the Spirit Theft attempt and the shuttles the Rogue Corporations sent up.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Perhaps we are beign dispatched on a colonization mission."
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki pauses
<DeathStar> <Yuki> You think so? WE're leaving Kumen?
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki flips through, eyeing the amount of chambers
<Sathen> Kaylin> What would the purpose of that be?
<DeathStar> <Yuki> There is a lot. Enough for every crew member, if not more. But ... With the speed of the ship, there is no hyperspace like where we come from
<DeathStar> <Yuki> To travel in lightspeed, it would take years
<Jackieness> <Airym> "It would explain the number of cryo chambersas well as the shuttles needed for moving large amounts of people and cargo."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> We need to talk to Tora. Now.
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki sets the device down, frowning

<DeathStar> 6* Cypher muses, studying the computer, with Asarar next to her
<DeathStar> <Cypher> Something is up, don't you agree?
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Hm. There could be... but it's impossible to say just based on these reports.
<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe sits reading nearby
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar works on the terminal, trying to hack into things, while Cypher brings up stuff on the main terminal on the top floor
<Xanatos> <Logan> What's up?
<Sathen> *jelly just does his own thing since he hasnt been asked to help with the hacking*
<Jackieness> <Kira> *is downstairs, working the lounge*
<DeathStar> <Cypher> President Tora is buying up all the Corporate Ships. And shipyards. Like, she is spending major resources. Thankfully one shipyard is with Yumi. And one shipyard was seized. The other one she bought from Henry.
<DeathStar> <Cypher> In addition to that, she is buying up a lot of cyrotech and other stuff to do with spac.e
<Xanatos> <Logan> Why? Putting restrictions on flight?
<Xanatos> 6* Logan arches a brow about the cryotetch, musing to himself
<DeathStar> *Ymir, even
<Xanatos> <Logan> Something seems up. That seems...sudden.
<DeathStar> <Cypher> No idea. There is a few classified files that was put up recently in regards to the satelites around Kumen that Asarar is trying to crack but they have the highest levels of protection we have ever seen
<DeathStar> <Cypher> But some of those ships are definitely warships Tora is buying. <Asarar> I hope she isn't going war crazy now that she has power.
<Xanatos> <Logan> Who would be able to stand against her?
<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe's ears flick, silently listening
<Sathen> Jelly> We're not the only inhabited world out here...
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I can't hack the file
<DeathStar> <Cypher> The easiest thing would be to just talk to her
<DeathStar> <Cypher> And not to jump to conclusions
<Sathen> *Jelly peers over at them from working on some of the re-appropriated spirit tech that they got* We're just in an out of they way corner of space so we don't get too much contact with the rest of the Crytok races...
<Xanatos> <Logan> You all have worked with her a lot, has she been trustworthy?
<DeathStar> <Asarar> So far. I guess. She seems to be from Wolfe's world. Yuki seemed to trust her
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar crosses her arms, peering at Wolfe.
<Sathen> Jelly> The foxy lady who wore a Mask almost all the time until the Macross guy got kineveld?
<Chaintan> <Wolfe> I dont believe she would do anything to harm us, but I can go and speak to her
<DeathStar> <Asarar> She seemed to build the city from the ground up
<DeathStar> <Asarar> We'll all go, Wolfe.

<Jackieness> <Kira> *calls up* "It is seriously dead down here tonight. Anything up?"
<Sathen> *Jelly glances between people present and strokes his tail a bit*

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki paces, growing more and more angry at being kept waiting

<Sathen> *Kaylin stands quietly to the side, glancing between Yuki and Airym*

<DeathStar> <Sen> I apologize for holding you up. 6* The beautiful pregnant maid leads them inside, serving them green tea

<Sathen> *Kaylin looked about ready to say something but stops herself, following after her shipmates*
<Jackieness> <Airym> *looks at Yuki as they are seated*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> What is going on with the Aquarius? What is up?
<DeathStar> <Sen> Whatever do you mean?
<DeathStar> 6* Sen sips her own tea innocently
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki deadpans
<Kemonohime> <Ymir> ... So they risk their lives a dozen times doing your biddy work and even going offgrid to save your precious lover, now you two are going to play coy?
<Kemonohime> * Ylva fixes glasses, walking in with an armful of paperwork
<DeathStar> <Sen> Ah, Ylva. Amazing how you get inside her as if by magic.

<Jackieness> <Airym> "The Aquarius' refits suggest a colonization mission profile."
<Kemonohime> <Ylva> I could use that, but it's been a while and I'm rusty at it.
<Sathen> *Kaylin doesn't drink it, instead watching Sen and Ylva*
<Kemonohime> <Ylva> I had a feeling my inquiry to why you're buying up all transportation on Kumen would be related.
<Kemonohime> <Ylva> A lot of people are eyeing the warships, but to me it looks a little less specific to warship and more to capacity.
<DeathStar> <Sen> The opposite is quite true. And your sister sold us your spaceports quite willingly.
<DeathStar> 6* Tora walks in, with Wolfe and company behind her
<Kemonohime> <Ylva> Doesn't change my curiousity
<DeathStar> <Tora> *The president moves over to the bar, pouring herself hard whiskey, her fox ears and tails swishing back and forth*
<Chaintan> <Wolfe> wow, seems like everyone came for a visit today
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar looks at Ylva, and Cypher pets her ears, stroking them
<Kemonohime> <Ylva> People act fishy and the cats and foxes come to play." She utters, straightfaced.
<DeathStar> <Sen> Hm. President Tora. *she rises, but Tora makes her sit*
<Xanatos> 6* Logan walks along behind the club crew.
<DeathStar> <Tora> We should tell them the truth, Sen. It's only a matter of days.
<Kemonohime> * Ylva arches an eyebrow.
<Sathen> *Jelly follows behind Asarar and Kira, blatantly staring at 'assets'*

<Xanatos> <Logan> Your tone implies something dire, Ma'am.
<DeathStar> 6* Asarar turns to face Sen and Tora.

<Kemonohime> <Ylva> Why do I get the feeling I'm wasting my time reinforcing security in the freshly. rebuilt. Macross HQ. building. again.

<Kemonohime> * Ylva turns her head, rubbing a temple.
<DeathStar> <Tora> We detected this during your last mission. *She inserts a datacrystal and the screen lights up, showing a screen of a bunch of crystal like ships pausing, clearly making adjustments in space, having slowed down enough to turn in lightspeed before boosting again*
<DeathStar> <Tora> There is a huge armada of ships like this heading for Kumen. The ships are made of crystal like structures, similiar to Centerpoint
<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe turns and looks at the ships
<Sathen> *Kaylin peers at the image* Could whomever is on these ships have created this "Centerpoint"?
<Chaintan> <Wolfe> have they tried sending communication?
<DeathStar> <Tora> There have been reports for years that something has been taken over the Crytok Empire and converting them to their new empire and religion.
<DeathStar> <Tora> And now they are headed this way.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "I believe it is the masked aliens preparing their invasion."
<DeathStar> <Sen> No.
<DeathStar> 6* Tora shrugs at Kaylin
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki eyes the image, arms crossed
<DeathStar> <Yuki> You are making a fleet of ships---to run awa;
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki eyes Tora accussingly
<Chaintan> <Wolfe>...to carry as many as you can
<Xanatos> <Logan> Surely we cannot fit everyone on the ships we have.
<DeathStar> <Tora> Yes. Every planet has fallen before them and been converted. I lone survivor came here once. Their report was that these ships have one or two of their ships land and someone freeze the population for decades if need be while they terraform the planet.
<DeathStar> <Tora> Then after they have taken over, they release the population and 're-educate them'.
<DeathStar> <Tora> To the true religion
<DeathStar> *somehow
<Xanatos> <Logan> Where would you even go?
<DeathStar> <Tora> My hope is to have the ships just scatter and run, until we can find a way to beat them
<Chaintan> <Wolfe>you cant just drift forever and just 'hope' for the best
<Sathen> Kaylin> Crystal would inherently have a weakness to sonic-based weaponry. In space that would equate to frequency modulations of various wavelengths.
<DeathStar> <Tora> The Aquarius is the strongest ship we have. If these are the masked aliens, they might fear them. Maybe we can find a way.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Centerpoint's crystal was never really traditional crystal
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki takes a seat
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Who are these aliens that they have amassed so much? <Tora> MAybe if we can get you guys off planet in time, you can find out where the rest of Centerpoint is, and you can take it back
<Jackieness> <Airym> *tilts her head to the side* "Few are as familiar with Centerpoint's inner workings as I am."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> How long do we have?
<DeathStar> <Sen> A week. At most. 4 days probably.
<Xanatos> 6* Logan rubs his face slowly.
<DeathStar> 6* Cypher lets out a breath, turning away
<Xanatos> <Logan> This is terrible.
<Sathen> Kaylin> It is something to investigate while we make preparations.
<Chaintan> <Wolfe>...how long have you known they were coming
<DeathStar> <Sen> 4 days ago we intercepted the picture of this
<DeathStar> <Sen> We been scrambling ever since
<Jackieness> <Airym> "I require data on their religious beliefs."
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki grips her fist
<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe sighs

<Jackieness> <Airym> "The most effective way to fight them is to attack their religion."

<Xanatos> 6* Logan seems at a lost.
<DeathStar> <Tora> Unfortunately, we don't know really that much on it. <Sen> As for Centerpoint, it's not really operating like Centerpoint anymore. There's no real reality powers
<Xanatos> <Logan> What is centerpoint?
<DeathStar> <Sen> They just seem to use it as weapons and a means of control
<DeathStar> <Sen> Which might be a good thing
<DeathStar> <Yuki> *she shakes her head at Logan for now*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "It suggests that they do not truly understand what they have."
<DeathStar> <Sen> We'll send you all everything we have for now
