<DeathStar> 6* Qui opts to stay behind, since the terrain is so rough and she is missing her leg, plus to keep an eye on Erica. Shion and Mhion both walk down the ramp off the Aquarius onto the planet's surface

<Xanatos`> 6* Simon readies his spear and puts on some spare armor. After a bit of fiddling he walks down by the others, tugging at his neck.

<DeathStar> 6* The main crystal structure is big, as tall as a major skyscraper on Kumen, and all around it are ten pillars. Around those pillars are gates, many ranging in various sizes. Some are big enough for ships to pass through, which is what they came here to try to grab
<DeathStar> <Mhion> The planetary defenses should ignore us until we actually try to mess with anything
<DeathStar> <Mhion> Or until we're spotted by patrols.

<Kemonohime> * Saoirse stays behind as well, not wanting to drag Yulindhe off the ship with Erica being behind and Qui as well. Kasha stretches slowly, her movements like one who has just awoken.
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon gives a slight twitst to stretch out a bit in the armor, then follows along after Shion. He looks about as he moves, looking in awe at the structures.
<DeathStar> 6* Shion walks up to the main crystal structure, and circles it with her datapad. There seems to be no opening

<Kemonohime> <Kasha> ..." She knocks. "Yo, can we enter?"

<Xanatos`> 6* Simon leans forward, peering curiously then pauses and glances to Kasha.
<DeathStar> 6* When Kasha knocks, the structure begins to glow
<DeathStar> 6* Shion whips back, her eyes widening
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor just stares at Kasha
<Kemonohime> * Kasha puts a hand on her hip, waiting.
<DeathStar> 6* Crystal spires from the structure grab Kasha's arm
<DeathStar> 6* And begin to try to pull her in
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor rushes over to try and pull Kasha away
<DeathStar> 6* Shion pulls her staff out, trying to smash the crystal
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon moves to help Shion with his spear, slashing and smashing.
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor tries to willingly use foxfire to help get Kasha away, though his ability to use it is spotty even in the best of times. Up to DS if it works or not.
<DeathStar> 6* The crystal seems to chip away slowly, this stuff seems to be made of reality crystal, the pure stuff.
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> It's not actually doing anything, if you get violent it'll probably change its mind.
<Xanatos`> <Simon> It's pulling you in.
<DeathStar> <Shion> If you get...pulled in...we won't be able to get you out..!
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> Well, I did ask to go inside. But okay, we'll find another way.
<Seraphna> * Cookie forms her guns, frowning.
<DeathStar> 6* Shion channels her energy, trying to use all her power
<DeathStar> <Shion> If you want to go in I won't stop you

<Kemonohime> * Kasha flexes her other hand a moment, then slowly lets out her breath and smashes her fist into the crystal with a strange resonating sound like a musical instrument.
<DeathStar> 6* The crystal still seems resistant, another chip gone, Kasha almost inside. Shion smashes again, taking another chunk, then Mhion hits, leaving just a thread
<Seraphna> * Cookie aims and takes a shot at the thread carefully.
<DeathStar> 6* It shatters, freeing Kasha
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon takes a step back afterward and checks the status of his spear.
<Kemonohime> * Kasha takes a few steps back, not looking worried.
<DeathStar> 6* The area's crystals begin to turn red afterward, as if the place has gone angry.

<DeathStar> <Mhion> I think it knows we are here now. Gor, come with me into the Network
<Seraphna> Cookie> "We shuld get away from this area. And not touch anything else."

<Kemonohime> * Kasha peers at Gor a moment, but says nothing, looking blank.
<DeathStar> <Shion> Back to the ship. We need to power it up and grab the laregest gateway we can find
<Kemonohime> * Kasha then moves after Shion.
<Seraphna> * Cookie nods and turns to head back, she looks towards Gor. "Good luck."
<DeathStar> <Shion> Before it tries to grab all of us.. *she eyes tendrils trying to grab her now*
<DeathStar> 6* Shion moves back for the ship. Shion tosses down her datapad, leaving it behind so she can hopefully get readings from the planet
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon jumps back, deflecting with his spear and nods to Shion, moving after her, dodging whatever he can.

<DeathStar> 6* Yuki seems to be eyeing a plant, then jerks as the group runs by, following

<Kemonohime> * Kasha eyes Shion's tactic and holds out her hand, focusing her chi toward the ground, activating foliage to cover it so it might remain hidden.

<DeathStar> 6* Shion eyes the tendrils focused mostly on Kasha and Shion, leaving the others right now

<DeathStar> <Yuki> We're making a run for the largest gate you can see and grapple it
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon tries to deflects another as Shion runs around him and lets out a sigh, moving to go up the ramp as well.
<Kemonohime> * Kasha stops at the ramp and turns, focusing a moment, then thrusts both hands forward, creating a simple semi-sphere barrier of her chi briefly to repel incoming, not wanting them to mess with the ship.
<DeathStar> 6* The tendrils whap at the shield, then retreat, too small to mess with the ship as they are.
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> We're fine now.
<Kemonohime> * Kasha closes the ramp after she enters.
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, the pillars begin to make larger tendrils, though they are taking time to form
<DeathStar> 6* Yuki hops off Cookie and moves to the bridge to join Saorise and Mireille, taking over the pilot controls and sits.
<Seraphna> * Cookie follows, blinking as her seat is taken, so she moves over to watch Yuki.
<Kemonohime> * Saoirse relinquishes control and gets off, gesturing for Cookie.
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon slows to a stop on the bridge and peers forward.
<Xanatos`> <Simon> I don't believe they want us to leave.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Alright, we are taking off. *Shion sits calmly, feeding her datapad into the ship's computers. Yuki flies for the gate, motioning someone to grapple it as she comes in*
<Kemonohime> * Saoirse connects the main HUB to her datapad and heads back toward the captain's quarters.
<DeathStar> <Shion> Someone wants me and mother. They must like us
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I am making the approach
<Kemonohime> <Kasha> I'll give you three guesses who and why.

According to Wind, the more unique those who volunteer to go first, the more stable the Gate will be for those who go later
