Advantage/Disadvantage:

 

Advantages and Disadvangtages have been brought back from The Alien Wars 5. They can be something class related, race related, or unique to you that you make. Depending on the Advantages/Disadvantage you take, a certain number of perks may be granted to the character. It is a compliment to the Classes and Perks.

Level 1 Advantage = Level 1 Disadvantage and Level 2 Advantage = Level 2 Disadvantage. You need to take a least 1 Advantages and 1 Disavantages. You can take at least 4 and 4 (see if that's too much or too little?)

Level 1 Advantages

 

Acting Ability: The character is able to act and fool others with their skills. +1 Charisma.

Acute Senses: The character's senses of hearing, touching, smell, or taste is enhanced. +1 Wisdom

Ambidexterity: Your character can use a weapon in each hand equally. That means in combat if one hand is damaged, you can switch easily without penality.

Animal Friendship: You can make friends with animals of any type, even Dragons.

Artistic Ability: You can draw paintings and even spot forgeries or other such things with an artistic eye.

Computer Aptitude 1: You know how to use a computer to hack, use the holonet, and more.

Contacts 1: The character knows the streets and has contacts that owe them favors.

Attractive Appearance 1: How seductive your character appears as well as bargaining power. +1 Charisma

Education 1: You have a good education and smarts. +1 Intelligence.

Blandness: You're unremarkable in looks. Easier to sneak around unnoticed.

Mechanical Aptitude: Repair and make things. Can repair items the team finds or make items if the GM allows it.

Musical Ability: Can sing and make music. + 1 Charisma

Wealth: You're rich in the RPG.

Athletic Ability: You're a bit more atheletic than most. +1 Dexterity

Toughness: You can more than hits than most. +1 Endurance.

Weightlifting: You can pump better than the most. +1 Strength.

Speedster 1: You have trained yourself to be faster than most people. You love to run. +1 Speed

Mind over Matter 1: You're the type that believes in using your mind to do things. +1 Mind

Spirit: You're beginning to learn how to use your magic/energy/spirit to do great things +1 Godhood

Mantel: You have learned the arts of mentor and follow in their path to live up to their name. +Attribute of Mentor Figure (works with Predecessor)

THE Backstory: Unique to character that keeps going. This is a special event/turning point/major defining moment that drives the character going in all matters. For example, Warren losing his wife and kid at one point defined his character throughout TAW4 for ages or Erevis being the Queen of Progenitors. The stats applied to that will be decided by the GM.

Animalistic: You are a bit of an animal, allowing you to get in touch in touch with nature, move like one, and generally act a little like one. +1 Strength, or Speed, or Endurance.

Wild Child: You are a bit of a wild child. You enjoy the thrills that come with it. People sometimes will ignore your actions due to your nature. -1 Wisdom, +2 Strength.

Awareness: You can sense things better outside the Acute Senses, meaning you note things more easily on people and you pick up details. Your detail type person. +1 Wisdom.

Level 2 Advantages

 

Enhanced Vision: The character's vision is enhanced allowing better sight and targetting. +1 Wisdom and Dexterity

Computer Aptitude 2: Computer repair, reprogramming, advance hacking. +1 Intelligence

Contacts 2: The character knows the streets and has contacts that owe them favors. +1 Charisma

Attractive Appearance 2: How seductive your character appears as well as bargaining power. +2 Charisma

Education 2: You have a better education and smarts. +2 Intelligence.

Ace: You are an ace at whatever you're good at (the stat will reflect what you're good at)

Combat Master: You love fighting and improving yourself in battle, meaning that battles makes you stronger. +2 Strength

Idol: You have trained yourself to become the best of the best. You're good at everything related to Idol like things. (taken Music Ability) +2 Charisma

Speedster 2: You're the type that loves to run and might compete against those who do the same. +2 Speed

Tough as Steel: You've been training your body to learn to take hits. This is the result. +2 Endurance.

Mind over Matter 2: You're now able to use your Mind to do things that others cannot. +2 Mind

Perfect Aim: You never miss if you can help it. Coupled with high dex you're pretty unstoppable. +2 Dexerity

Full of Spirit: You're one to try achieve full mastery of magic or energy mastry or understanding with spirits. +2 Godhood

Swordsmaster: You're a great swordsmaster and it's hard to defeat you. +2 Dexerity

Willpower: Your willpower will not allow you to stop. This gives you the ability to keep going no matter the odds and push through. +1 Stat of your choice and bonuses in special moments when HP is low.

Unique Heroic Ego: You have a unique personality that fits only you. Think Dias or Sparkling. There can only be one Dias or Warren in the universe. Does your ego type help out or get in the way of things? Positive Stat based on your type of Ego.

Poison Resistance: You're good at resisting poison attacks. This allows you to help null poisons and identity them. +2 Endurance.

Medic: This allows healing abilities to be either doubled or used on more than one person. +1 Endurance, +1 Wisdom

Level 1 Disadvantages

Addiction: You're addicted to some sort of substance from cigerrates, juice to make you stronger, or reality powers.
-1 Endurance

Bad Liar: You're bad a lying and cannot easily fool NPCs when it comes time to bluff them. -1 Charisma

Clumsiness: You're pretty clumsy. Be sure not to accidently damage your friends. -1 Dexterity

Color Blind: You're color blind to various colors or have color related problems. This might lead to problems in the future with wires.

Debt: You actually owe money instead of being rich. This one is a rare one in the RPG.

Greed: You're really greed for items and relics that are found. When something is discovered you are compelled to try to get your hands on it.

Paranoia: Sometimes they are just out to get you.

Mood Swings 1: You have mild mood swings that act up. They are not that bad - but when it does, you can grow quiet or have some issues. -1 Wisdom.

Overweight 1: You are a mildly over weight and can get a mildly winded during missions when forced to do too many things at once. -1 Endurance.

Lecherous: You'e lecherous towards men, women, or Spirits. And it gets you in trouble.

Moral Qualms: You have a moral qualm about doing one thing that gets you in trouble. Like killing enemies that bites you on the ass later.

Traumatic Flashbacks: You have a flashback that keeps haunting you.

Unattractive Appearance 1: You have a slightly unattractive appearance that might put people off. -1 Charisma

Uncouth: Get your act together. -1 Charisma

Unmistakable Feature's: You can't blend in well during stealth missions.

Vengeful: When something goes down, you won't let it go.

Hunted: Something wants you dead or captured.

Illiterate: You can't read. You need to get someone to teach you stat. -1 Intelligence

Computer Ineptitude: "What's a datapad" :P - 1 Wisdom or - 1 Intelligence

Obsession: You are obsessed/compelled to do one thing and when the situation comes up, you must do it - if you fail to do it you suffer penalities.

Predecessor: You try to live up to the name of your mentor/parent figure and follow in their steps all the time, even to the deteriment of yourself in situations.

Possessive: When you see something, you will do anything to have it - sometimes at the cost of losing it due to your narrow focus at getting it and then keeping it and running others off. -1 Wisdom

Carnal: You will do anything to sate your carnal lust - be it food, love, sexual nature, entertainment. And this can be to the deteriment of work, partners, or co-workers. -1 Charisma

Attitude: You have a bad attitude / bad at relating to people that make them dislike you. A lot. -1 Charisma

Workaholic: You over work yourself when crisies come up, you get focused on something, or other scenarios rise up and run yourself down. -1 Endurance

Weakling: You're not very strong.. -1 Strength

Slow: You're now very fast. -1 Speed.

No Ambitions: You have no real ambitions in life. You're just ... going with the flow. -1 Wisdom

No Spirit: You can't use magic or energy well. You're just a normal person that can't tap into that stuff. -1 Godhood

Kleptomania: You have the urge to steal things. It'd make you a great thief though. It also will makes your party members hate you. -1 Charisma or -1 Wisdom

Bad Luck: You have bad luck in general, which results in bad rolls for yourself. -1 Wisdom.

Level 2 Disadvantages

Mood Swings 2: Your moods are more severe and can be volatile. You can be good one moment and the next you'll be all over the place. - 2 Wisdom.

Overweight 2: You are a little over weight and can get winded during missions when forced to do too many at once. -1 Strength and 1 Endurance

Sociopathic: You are what it says. -2 Wisdom

Unattractive Appearance 2: You have an unattractive appearance that will put people off. -2 Charisma

Unique Ego: You have a unique personality that fits only you. Think Zayne or Id in the universe. There can only be one Id or Zayne in the universe. However, that's not always a good thing. Especially the former. Does your Ego get in the way of things? Negative Stat based on your type of Ego.

Adverse Agenda: You have agenda that is at odds with the team and gets you into conflict, either behind the scenes or openly. (GM chooses Stat depending on Agenda)

Health Warning: Your body is frail or has taken damage or you're sick lately, meaning you're not in the best of shape lately. -2 Endurance or -1 Strength and -1 Endurance

Lack of Spirit: You lack any magic/spirit/energy and rely completely on other abilities to make up for it. -2 Godhood.

Turtle: You are extremely slow. Anyone can catch up to you. I'd say run, but you can't. -2 Speed

No Talent: You can't sing, you can't draw, you can't do anything. In fact, singing hurts people for some damage. -2 Charisma.

Extreme Bad Luck: You have no real chance with rolls. But you get extra bonuses at the end of phases. -2 Wisdom

Bad Aim: You just are bad at hitting things from a distance. Don't use guns. -2 Dexterity.

Weakling II: You could easily be overpowered if someone were to get in close and grab you. -2 Strength

Dumb: You're just not that smart. -2 Intelligence

Weak Body: You take damage more easily. Better hope you have enough armor. -2 Endurance.
