Chapter 6: Destinations

Verse 1, S.1: Session 48: The Sol System

6.12.5990 CE

As the crew go about their business, Cam tells Erica that they are less than an hour away from the Sol System, and sends an alert to the crew. The crew soon arrive on the bridge, including Kaylin, a biotect who had stayed out of public view since the vanishing crew incident early on. Erica explains that they are about to arrive, and the crew discuss what they know so far.

They exit warp, although the ship is left without a pilot. Much to the crew's concern, Cookie ends up in the pilot's seat. Meanwhile, Kaylin has taken the scanners. They have a run-in with a
large scanning platform, and after some concern, Yuki ends up destroying it with a missile.

Unfortunately, they were too late in destroying it, and as Cookie tries to figure out how to proceed, they find themselves swarmed by a dozen drones. Although they try to send a signal to the drones, the drones attack regardless, and the ship takes heavy damage.

The team, still a bit disorganized at first, eventually end up with Cassandra on weapons, and they begin firing back at the drones. Bit by bit the drones are taken out, until none are left. They proceed toward Earth, taking out another scanner, this time using a virus instead of destroying it.

As they reach Earth, they see a giant, solid energy field surrounding it and the moon alike. They go over their options, including destroying the field entirely by blowing up its generators or going inside of a generator to shut things off.

Captain Erica decides instead to activate the Spirit Engine. This time, the girl in the tube steps out without a word, taking control of the systems like before. She says that she is named Cam'dee, and Gor's response is simply "whoops". Saoirse reacts in surprise to all of this, not having been present last time the Spirit Engine was activated.

Erica asks if it's possible to get through the field without destroying it. Or the crew. Or Cam'dee herself, adds Saoirse. She doesn't answer, unfortunately, as she begins to move them through the field. Everyone holds on to their seats, and many professions of love are exchanged as they worry for their lives.

Soon they are thrugh the field, and everything seems normal from scans, with no signs of humanoid life. The Aquarius lands on Earth, in Mega City, which seems more primitive than Yuki's group might have expected, not to mention completely wrecked. The Presidential building is especially strange, as it almost looks like two versions of the building destroyed each other.

The crew ponder these developments, and Yuki resolves to get the information in Cassandra unlocked so that they can figure out why they came. Erica offers her support, and the crew begin to relax again, not yet exploring the surfaces of the homeworld.

Verse 2, M.1:

6.13 -14.5990 CE

Cats. Going out for a tentative search of the planet, Kitty, Yuki, and Cookie find tons of cats, like Momma Thrasher from The Alien Wars 5 have taken over the planet. Kitty goes nuts with happiness and begins to make friends with them and soon an army of them, since they live in the abandoned mall that has sunk in the ground, follow them back to the ship, flooding the ship and making the crew morale go back up after the condition of the Homeworld and the journey to it. Crew members begin to pick up kittens and snuggle them, claiming them as the cats take over the ship. Cookie is left to fend for herself in the wild until she convinces the cat's natural food source, the foxes - oddly - to carry her back so now there's one or two foxes on the ship. Thankfully, foxes seem low on the menu with new food frontiers to eat from.

Soon, Erica and Yuki both have claimed 3 kittens for their little homes, Yukiclaws, Ericapaws, and Saopaws, with Kitty getting a huge group and giving the prisoner Susan one to cheer her up and adverting an attack on her life in the process with the help of Kaylin.

Verse 3, S.2: Session 49: The Homeworld

6.15.5990 CE

Erica, Sao, Yuki, Cookie, Cass, Gor & Little left the Aquarius to begin exploration of the ruins of Mega City, starting with the Presedential Complex. What they find initially is an even more extravagent sight than what had been seen from afar; the building is seemingly split between two versions of itself, one is cleaner and brighter while the other is older and darker.

Beginning on the ground floor they begin searching for records of what happened, the few papers they find crumbling to dust when touched; and only a couple of questionable dates and entries in a log-book that don't make sense, except for one "President C" who Cassandra immediately decides means Cran. During all of this Yuki is experiencing headaches, stating that something about this is familiar but she can't quite recall what or from where.

In order to explore further, and hopefully gain some answers, the group makes its way up through the building using a staircase towards the Presidential Suites. Along the way they encounter an unsightly scene, an almost fully encased body that has been caught in mid-stride by whatever anomaly has been happening to the building; the stairs seem to be affected as well, looking like a slightly melted version of itself.

Pressing further on and upward they arrive at the Presidential Suite, where they find that the two 'types' of the building have yielded some interesting information for them; on one side the pictures and nameplates of a few presidents, on the other side the same pictures and nameplates but of far more presidents along with dates of their terms. This brings about a fair bit of confusion and frustration, seeing as it makes no sense for some of these seeming futuristic pictures.

As the team continues to pull folders, drawers and even some computers and hard-drives for analysis, the building begins to shift beneath them; apparently the merger that had brought together these two distinct versions of the building hasn't completed, and is now leaving a dormancy period to bring the two worlds even further into 'alignment'. They race to make their way back down the winding stairs, finding the location they had found the body in being even further into a melted state; getting through here takes a fair bit of balance and patience on the parts of the group members but they make it through and to the bottom level.

After leaving the Government Complex they find outside that buildings have gone missing, a few Japanese or Asian buildings have come up in other locations as well. They return quickly to the Aquarius carrying their finds and set about the task of sorting through everything collected and trying to decrypt what they can as quickly as possible; it seems that this information may prove important for the crew as a whole, not just those who left initially with the vessel.

Verse 4, M.2:

6.16 - 19.5990 CE

With the prelude to the answers coming, Erica's ship finds itself in a melancholy mood when Yuki starts to have more trouble breathing lately and feeling dizzy. Also, Saoirse begins to become obsessed with bringing back the dead girl they found in the stairway during the last mission and Yuki agrees to help, along with Cookie, on extracting information from her mind and trying to bring her back for Saoirse. Despite the fact she is missing half her skull and other parts, they spend the last days busy working, while talking about their fears and worries.

Verse 5, S.3: Session 50 (probably more like 1905): Heroes

The Homeworld - 6.20.5990 CE

Yuki puts down her robot, letting the final tests run on it as she asks Erica what they should do next. She suggests they explore some more, and Erica ultimately agrees, although they briefly discuss the invasion of cats that has rapidly overtaken the ship. Erica relays the order, and soon the away team is on the surface, safely away from their feline overlords.

Daemon Capital, Geyze - 6.20.5990 CE

The Academy group walk along, being led up to the dark tower and being led onto a dias, which begins to ascend, lifting them upward through the palace's many floors. After going up about 50 floors, it stops, and they are led down a hallway to a throne, where the Daemon Empress sits, a beautiful young Asmos woman with dark blue skin and silver hair, along with her sisters at her side.

The Empress, Neophyx, addresses them, and Sasha delivers her report about what happened in the Dark Forest. The Empress eventually interrupts, stating that she has bad news; she tells of the Legion's eldest son moving a massive force to enter Amazon territory and slaughter them. Sasha states the Kaiser would not approve, but the Empess tells her of a plot by the Amazons to kill the Kaiser once and for all.

She then delivers even worse news: The Academy wishes to recall the unit, due to the fact that there are too many important people in a single unit. They wish to separate them. She offers Daemon protection, or to simply look the other way as needed. The unit discuss this, with Gwen suggesting that the Tamae may actually be afraid of them.

Sasha thanks the Empress for the audience and they respectfully take their leave. The unit continues to discuss matters, including the Tamae and what they may be thinking, as well as the war ahead. They also discuss what kind of power the unit really does hold, and what that could mean if they used it right.

The Club, Kumen - 6.20.5990 CE

The team laze about as Asarar works, Jelly trying to peek over her shoulder as she uses his computer. The rest of the group remark about the fact that Otto has finally showed up again. Asarar tells them simply that it's time to move out, and that they have a steal and destroy mission at Starcorp. Corp orders. The team follow, with Wolfe bringing BonBon.

Asarar moves to drive, with Luci expressing concern and Asarar curtly dismissing that concern. Asarar's driving is perfect, and she makes use of all of the security weak points. Chelsea expresses concern for Asarar, but soon they arrive, with Asarar pulling out quite a bit of explosives.

The Homeworld - 6.20.5990 CE

The Aquarius Away Team walk along, making note of the amount of cats dotting the landscape, with Erica remarking that they almost seem like the dominant species. Yuki finds a store, crawling out with a toy of an Imperial hero in hand. A distant bear roars at Little, wearing a Russian hat somehow. The team discuss this with some confusion.

They come upon a Japanese-styled home with a beautiful garden, causing Yuki to freeze. She starts recording so that Kitty can see it back on the ship. Gor rushes Yuki inside, and Gor begins calling out for Mitsu and Suzu, to no avail of course. The house looks quite old, yet parts of it are quite advanced with new technology.

Yuki talks about knowing this place, and that she used to visit when she was little. Cookie also notes that it feels a bit familiar. They wipe off some dusty old photos, showing foxes, rabbits, and more kids than Yuki and Gor even remember, with those kids eventually taking ownership of the home. Another bear appears for whatever reason.

Yuki peeks into the bedroom, only to quickly close it. The others look inside, and see bones of kitsune and a rabbit, likely sleeping peacefully when things happened. The others seem a bit shaken, as Kitty finally checks her PC and gets filled in on what's going on. Gor manages to get some videos out of a datapad, whichdiscuss the PAX taking off soon. Unfortunately, an anomoly begins to occur near the Aquarius, and the team moves to head back as quickly as they can.

The team makes it back, with effort, Little having to use her bear form to make it. Back on the Bridge, Erica gives the order to escape, bringing out the Spirit Engine in hope of getting back through the shield. Unfortunately, Spirit Cam'dee informs her that they can't get out like that, and they are forced to blast its generators, destroying the shield, to get out, even as they realize it was probably there to keep whatever is happening on the planet contained.

Daemon Capital, Geyze - 6.20.5990 CE

The Academy team consider what to do now, knowing their orders, but none of them wanting to obey. They come to a conclusion: They must go to the Republic and see what they can do. Liana summons Celsius, and they discuss their destination, deciding that they need to see the Kaiser first and foremost. They head to the capital, Pyrrhic.

They appear in Commodus' childhood home, although Celsius retreats immediately due to the nearby Volcano. Commodus greets his father, and tells them that they need to speak to the Kaiser. Commodus' father doesn't think the Kaiser is taking visitors, but agrees to see what he can do. Soon they are in a carriage heading toward the palace, arriving before long.

Starcorp Building, Kumen - 6.20.5990 CE

Asarar leads the Cypher crew inside of the building, hacking the cameras with more ease than usual, and soon they are in a secret elevator. Jelly keeps a close eye on Asarar, while Chelsea stays near her ready to draw her knives at any moment. They arrive at the office up top, interfering with a camera and disarming a laser system.

Asarar cracks open a safe and takes the money inside, while Bonnie claims a trophy, with Otto moving to steal the information. The bomb is planted, but a scarred, muscular blonde Corporate Agent shows up warning them that they tripped a hidden wire and the authorities are coming. They move to leave, the bomb's timer being set.

As they get to the bottom, the bomb goes off, with the Agent taking out one of the guards, followed by Luci and Otto doing similarly. They get into the car and take off. Asking the Agent for his name, he ultimately responds with the name Samson. Max and Chelsea recognize this name as one of the Aquarius crew members, but he responds that they watch too many vids.

As they get back to the Club, Asarar takes Jelly to the top floor and tells him that he will no longer be needed, giving him a pink slip and severance pay, as well as a job offer at Macross. As Jelly realizes something is strange about Asarar, the others speak with Samson, who seems to be there just to watch them, for whatever reason. Kira remarks about how the last mission felt off, while Chelsea gets distracted by a kiss on the cheek from Bonnie.

The Aquarius - 6.20.5990 CE

The ship starts to fall toward the planet as Erica orders the ship stabilized. The Spirit Cam'dee manages to stop it right before it crashes, albeit not quite right-side-up, and a shaken-up Erica asks for a status report as the ship's crew and animals, including the Russian bear from before, move along the ceilings.

Soon it's noted that a lot more animals than just that were taken on, including an alligator and a giant snake. People move to deal with these threats, while Yuki's robot is dislodged from under a station. She notices the virus has finally been beaten, and calls Cass over so that she can remove it from her as well.

Yuki gives Cass the anti-virus, and Cass begins to transform into Airym before their very eyes. Soon after, a message begins to play, from Yuki in the past. She gives her name as Yuki Mizukaze and introduces Airym, who won't lose her memory like the rest, but contains the personalities and looks of some others to help her to better understand emotions and personalities.

Yuki in the message goes on to say that their world is dying, and they have no ideas, but people are falling through the ground, or appearing with stories of other worlds. Worlds which should not exist due to the fact that there is only one reality now. She speaks of a system they are building to travel to this other world, a device they can climb into. The message shows the capsule in question, and she speaks of how she thinks it's related to the past. As she shuts off the message, Samson is briefly seen, a bit older than when he vanished during the incident on the Aquarius after its launch.

The crew ponder these facts, but Yuki begins to have trouble breathing, even though Airym finds that her lungs are functioning normally. The others show concern, and Yuki ponders the situation. She doesn't need to breathe, yet somehow still seems like she's suffocating.

She notes how the planes seem to have some sort of time difference, and how the videos Gor saw mentioned people going to fix the problems but never returning. She theorizes that something is happening to the capsules that their real bodies are in. She could fix it if she could leave the capsule, but she doesn't know how to do so.

The Kaiser's Palace, Geyze - 6.20.5990 CE

As the Academy team nears the Kaiser's chambers, they hear a woman crying out and a magic blast. They bust into the room, seeing the Kaiser dead with water spikes in him, while the Amazon woman helping the Kaiser fights with the Rogue Magi leader. Realizing they need to revive the Kaiser, Liana thinks and realizes that Qui might be able to do it. Gwen moves to bring her out if he can.

Commodus knocks the Magi out of the window with a javelin and leaps after him, while Liana and Alita try to protect Qui while she attends to the Kaiser. 40 guards of Jules, the Kaiser's son, bust in, and soon things break out into pure chaos as the guards try to kill Qui and the others. Ultimately, Commodus and Sasha secure the Magi while the others deal with the horde of guards, although Commodus' father is injured, possibly worse.

A fire catches, as Neekito and Kito undo their limiters and take down quite a few of the guards. Mykel and Liana make themselves into shields for Qui, as Neekito uses something Shade gave her, touching Kito, who glows, then kicking her out of the window.

Sasha lays a trap and orders the Kitos to fall back. Neekito replies she'll have to disobey, and as everyone is forced to escape, she triggers the trap, the room exploding with her inside. The team make it out through the window, narrowly avoiding the explosion, although they unfortunately do not manage to save Neekito, nor to recover Commodus' father, his fate unknown.

Outside, everyone feels the losses they have taken, although Sasha presses them to move on, with the Kaiser in hand. Commodus leads them deeper into the city, toward a friend of his family who might be able to hide them for a short time.

The Club, Kumen - 6.20.5990 CE

Asarar downloads all of the data from their servers and sends them off somewhere. Meanwhile, Samson watches an announcement on the screen, noting mysteriously that there might be something big in their futures. He grabs his drink and moves to a booth. Meanwhile, Kira slams her fist into the wall, telling the team that they've got trouble.

Soon she clarifies that she's got a bad feeling about Asarar, and explains that Asarar fired Jelly as well, who has just come down with his things. The team discuss how strange she has been acting, pointing out various specifics, such as her coding style changing, or how her behavior with Kira has changed. Jelly also tries to explain that Asarar's smell changed.

Some of the team head up to see Asarar, with Kira telling her she wants sex, only to be interrupted by Otto firing a tranq dart right at Asarar's neck. Otto manages to make an excuse for it, though Asarar decides to fire him using the pink slip she'd written and discarded. They try to grill Asarar's memory but they fail to get her to slip. Asarar leaves with Kira as the others decide with certainty that she isn't actually Asarar.

The others begin to pursue, throwing "Asarar" quickly onto alert. She flips Kira, then gets in the car and rushes away. Otto and Luci manage to grab onto the car, followed by Wolfe getting on top of it. Chelsea watches them go, and "Asarar" ends up driving onto the monorail platform, heading right for a train.

Pyrrhic, Geyze - 6.20.5990 CE

The team meet with a Daemon spy, who informs them that war has broken out on the border. The Amazon woman continues working to heal the Kaiser, though it will take months yet. The group discuss what to do with him and ultimately elect to place the Kaiser and Amazon under Daemon protection while they head to the front lines, despite some initial wishes to go to the Senate. They merely take a ring from his as proof of his survival, instead.

The Aquarius - 6.20.5990 CE

As the Aquarius reaches orbit proper, an Erusian battlecruiser draws near, spreading 8 wings glowing with energy. Erica hails them but gets only a threat in return. The others point out how bad things look and that the 8-winged ship is itself a bad sign, although Erica would prefer not to fight. Unfortunately, that seems impossible.

A barrier forms around the ships, weakening the enemy ship but trapping the Aquarius. Reluctantly, Erica gives permission to return fire, agreeing with suggestions that they target the weak points. Saoirse adds to this, saying to leave them dead in the water but not kill, her presence calming Erica.

Use of the spirit weapons starts to deplete the Aquarius' energy levels, and soon the Aquarius' shields have gone down, with the Aquarius losing a couple of chunks. The Aquarius continues its counter-attack, however, finally managing to take out most of the Erusian ship's wings. They finally run out of energy, the Spirit Engine turning off and the ship returning to normal.

The enemy hails them, a Tsivrixsh demanding they surrender, despite the fact that the Aquarius has by far the upper hand. Erica replies, telling him they only did what they had to do to survive, and that they do not wish to harm them any further. The screen cuts out and Erica orders one last shot fired. The barrier drops, with the vessel plummeting toward the planet.

The crew decide to tractor beam them, and they do so, nearly getting pulled down to the planet themselves in the process, but managing to slow their descent. With some help from Erica herself, they slingshot away, freeing both ships. Unfortunately, a huge Imperial ship floats in as all of this is going on. Erica hails them.

On the screen is an Erusian female with long black hair, saying that she will be tractoring them to stand trial for coming to this planet and unleashing danger to the worlds. She introduces herself as Empress Shre'trav. Erica nods to her, prepared to surrender, and also realizing the Aquarius has almost nothing left in it at that moment.

As they are being tractored in, time begins to slow down around them, the homeworld showing signs of more changes. Yuki watches in awe, noting that they are running a few minutes faster than the Erusian ship. A battle school familiar to Kitty rises up on the planet, as Erica sends a signal to the Imperials telling them she didn't want this to happen and wishes to find a way to fix it. Just as she does that, time changes again.

Yuki begins to have more trouble breathing, struggling a bit as she frustratedly talks about finding a way to exit the capsules. The others speculate, but nothing particularly useful comes of it. Time changes once more, leaving them on the same time scale as the Erusians, and they rush away, though Erica leaves them another message.

They worry about how they'll even find the capsules after they leave the area, but Saoirse mentions that she knows a way to find Yuki, no matter where they go. Yuki questions this, and Saoirse states her plan simply, telling Yuki to bond with her and Erica. Yuki panics a bit at this, and the others begin suggesting they run, as the Erusians fire a warning shot. Erica complains a bit about running but then goes with Yuki as Yuki embarassedly decides that they can give bonding a try.

While Erica is busy with that, Saoirse takes the Captain's chair, hailing Shre'trav, who once again asks them to stop for trial. Saoirse shows skepticism, wearing the Empress' patience thin rather quickly. Saoirse does try to explain that they were only seeking their own safety, not to cause harm to others, but that she's not going to sit and play dead with the ones she loves onboard. Skre'trav apologizes in advance and ends the communication, stating that her grandchild seems to have misjudged them.

The ship moves to escape, firing their remaining weapons to keep the path clear, even as the Imperials continue to fire upon the nearby rocks. The moment they escape the asteroid field, the Aquarius leaps safely into lightspeed.

Pyrrhic, Geyze - 6.20.5990 CE

The Academy team consider how to get to the front lines, knowing that Liana can't summon Celsius in the area. They all have the mark of Sylph, but Salamander nearby is one of Vyvy's lovers and would likely help them. They elect to go to her temple, following Commodus toward the large volcano, although Sasha has to go out of her way to get Kito moving.

They request an audience with Salamander, and she is said to be very busy. However, they namedrop Vyvy and get in. Salamander greets them, holding a Vyvy plushie, and listens to them and their feelings about the war situation. Regardless of her feelings on the matter, she does agree to take them to the front, warping them there.

As soon as they get there, they find themselves between the Legionnaires and the Amazons, rushing toward the Legion camp. It isn't an easy journey, and they end up having to fight the Legion and the Amazons alike. Undine herself appears, drowning many Legionnaires. A huge whirlpool comes for the team, but is turned to steam by Salamander's fire, as Salamander enters the battle.

Salamander soon begins to lose the battle, but just in time, Sylph appears, fighting Undine off, with Vyvy in tow. Sylph complains, and Undine is furious, but Vyvy gladly takes the blame for involving Sylph. The others reach the Legion camp, seeking out Jules. Meanwhile, Vyvy tries to get a rapport going with Undine.

The unit speak with Jules and try to tell him that his father is still alive, but it's difficult for them to prove any of what happened. Vyvy convinces Undine and Salamander to back off, Commodus eventually shows Jules the Kaiser's ring and tells him where the Kaiser is. They present the Magi to him, and he orders him to be put to torch to find out what happened.

They mention Qui and Jules refers to her as the dead princess, only for them to tell him that she too lives. He talks about putting her up as a puppet queen after his conquest ends, and rides off into battle. Salamander thanks Vyvy for saving her life, while the others discuss Jules and his attitude.

The unit notice Amazons gathering on the cliffs, chanting. Jules is distracted attacking their right wing, but Commodus blows the horn and signals that it's a trap. The Legionnaires don't react quickly, but eventually they do. Unfortunately, the left wing still get torn apart, a new cliff forming as the ground itself is rended.

Vyvy begs Salamander or Sylph to help, then failing that, asks them to bring Spira. Jules backs up, taking in the horrific sight of what the magic did, remarking that his own new contraption isn't ready yet. Spira arrives, and soon she is riding on dragon Vyvy, while Jules gets onto a metal dragon-like machine, riding it like a horse and blasting fire at the Amazon mages.

The Amazons are soon routed, with Jules congratulating Commodus on the victory. Commodus, however, tells him quite simply that they must not continue the way. Jules insists that it's what the people want, and that his father's way hasn't done them well, although he's truly glad his father is alive. He ultimately asks to speak with Qui before he continues.

Quad 5 Slums, Kumen - 6.20.5990 CE

"Asarar" keeps driving straight at the monorail train, about to impact. The team on the van move to get away, the van flying through the air. Meanwhile, Chelsea and Bonnie get Kira back on her feet, as "Asarar" escapes the van and moves over to her pursuers. She insists that she is Asarar and asks if they can talk it out, trying to calm them down, but they don't buy it.

Samson grabs Kira, Chelsea, and Bonnie, bringing them up to the rooftops where the others are. Chelsea seems impressed by his jumping abilities. Asarar continues trying to calm them down, greeting Chelsea and asking them all if they can begin again, to which she means doing jobs. The others insist they settle things first.

They ask her about Asarar using alternate logic, eventually getting her to admit that she replaced her and was simply told to say it was a concussion. They ask her where it happened, and they decide she'll take them there. She says she'll have to kill them, but they say they are being courteous, so killing is too much. Oddly enough, she agrees. "Asarar" threatens more firing as they look for a car.

Soon they are in front of Macross HQ. Otto questions Samson about how he knows so much, and Samson simply says there's more to Asarar than they know. "Asarar" says that she can't talk about this place, whereas Samson reminds them about the big event Macross has lined up, which the team of course know since they've been working toward this moment for almost exactly 1 month. Otto gives out press passes to the group, and they move in cautiously.

"Asarar" talks about missions to hit Corporations for Biotect tech, and Chelsea sarcastically calls her "Chief" in her response, a name they would use for her from there. The main group heads up the elevators while Wolfe and Chelsea hang back, with Chief watching Bonnie. Floor 65 is full of press and Corporation members, though some talk about the project Maxwell Terran guard with their lives on the floor just below.

A girl nearly identical to Ylva walks around and interfaces, and the stragglers make their way up to meet with the others. Terran finally begins his announcement, speaking of the failures in making a Biotect that can use magic and spirits, but announcing his success: The Mark IX Biotect, and he hopes, the future. Clapping his hands, the prototype rises in a tube. Asarar. Her eyes snap open, glowing purple, and the entire floor soon explodes.

The Aquarius - 6.20.5990 CE

Jerking out of lightspeed, the Aquarius spins. Yuki and Erica come out of Erica's room onto the bridge, with Kitty beginning to suffer from the same breathing symptoms as Yuki was. The computer Cam explains that the space travel ways are collapsing, or perhaps moving, and that she's having trouble predicting them. Yuki takes Airym and goes to find a way out of her capsule. Erica collects herself, taken aback by Yuki's departure from the bridge so soon.

Cam'dee displays three routes, each of them potentially leading back to the Jump Gate, but any of them could end horribly. Erica chooses the rightmost route. Meanwhile, Gor and Kitty somehow begin to create a bond, and Yuki works as she tries to recreate her position in the capsule. The Aquarius enters warp shakily.

They come upon another Aquarius, old and decript, spinning as if lost in time. The computer suggests it's what would have happened had they taken the left route instead. They begin to near it, at risk of impact, with Cookie moving to evade, barely succeeding as they scrape by.

Macross HQ, Kumen - 6.20.5990 CE

Asarar busts free of her capsule, frying reporters with magical energy, which also shatters all of the windows on that floor. Everyone ducks and covers, with Maxwell and Wolfe tackling the Ylva-looking girl, Maxwell leaving her in Wolfe's care as she goes to find his wife.

Chelsea uncharacteristically screams, and though Luci summons an Aegis for defense, Asarar destroys it with a magic blast. The team begin to call out to Asarar, while Wolfe moves with Terran, keeping the girl close to him.

Geyze Academy, Geyze - 6.20.5990 CE

Sylph drops off the unit at the Academy, and soon they are swarmed by guards. A girl with long red hair and fox ears blizes by in a strange asian outfit, knocking out all of the guards with her bos, her three tails spread out. She tells the group to come with her, changing her bos into a staff, and saying she works with the Academy's administration.

They follow her into the Academy building, going up to the higher echelons where they were not previously allowed. She leads them to the headmistress's office, bidding them inside. There they find a nine-tailed fox woman with icy blue eyes and long snow hair, the headmistress of Geyze Academy, Miyuki.

The other fox girl speaks about the unit with disapproval, but Miyuki has her bring tea. The unit bow and curtsey and otherwise show their best behavior, knowing they are probably in for quite the talking-to having been brought this high up.

Macross HQ, Kumen - 6.20.5990 CE

Maxwell Terra retreats with his wife and the girl who looks just like Ylva, while the Cypher team tell Asarar she's going to bring the entire place down and get them all killed. Asarar tells them to go before she explodes, falling to her knees and speaking about how she's sure she used to be human, but that bastard Terran MADE her into a Biotect.

They try to calm her and get her to focus her energy so that it won't explode, Wolfe's coat on her sizzling. Asarar calls them fools for staying, and blasts a hole straight down, revealing a capsule. Wolfe grabs Asarar and they begin their descent, checking the capsule on the way out, in which they find Ylva, hooked up to machines. They retrieve her, and Asarar starts to seem more normal again.

A Corporation chopper begins firing missiles at the building, while Luci stays behind to protect them from it. She ends up nearly falling off of the building, and the chopper goes down. Max takes Ylva as Luci tries to find a way to get back up.

The Aquarius - 6.20.5990 CE

Yuki follows Airym's directions and vanishes, while the rest of the Aquarius are warned that they won't make it out of warp in time. They direct as much power to the engines as they can, while Erica attempts to activate the Spirit Engine, but finds the energy is still not recovered enough. Kitty contributes her energy to things as well, and they come out of warp, far away from Sol.

Erica feels something strange from her bond with Yuki, as if she were far away, and in two different places at once. She asks the computer where Yuki is on the ship, only to be told she is no longer on board. Erica collapses to her knees at this news, crying. Meanwhile, the others from Yuki's team have begun to recover, their breathing problems going away.

Everyone discuss what has happened, and Cam'dee explains that the chances of Yuki being able to warp back are non-existent. Erica resolves to find her, no matter what, even as others too begin to cry. Airym announces that Yuki was successful.

The Club, Kumen - 6.20.5990 CE

Riki drags Chief away as Asarar and the others return. Asarar remarks that they can no longer work for Macross, and Chelsea tells Asarar about some of the things Chief had done. Meanwhile, Wolfe is badly burned, and Bonnie attends to him.

PAX City, Prime Earth - Date Unknown

Yuki smashes her fist through glass, forcing her capsule open and peering out as water roars into the broken space station. She stumbles over, seeing that the station crashed onto a beach, and noticing some of the Imperial buildings that had been disappearing from the other Earth, finding herself in PAX City, although the PAX itself is gone.

The planet looks as though it's been deserted for ages, and she turns to see the cause of the problems: water is getting into the capsules. She burns it away before opening her datapad and calling out to anyone who can hear her, if there should be anyone still alive at all. She looks out at the stormy ruins, waiting for a response.

Verse 6, M.3:

6.21 - 6.30.5990

Week 1 and 2

With Yuki gone, Erica and Saoirse become melchanoly however, Cam'dee finishes the process on Yuki's notes and manages to bring back the dead girl to life, though she is severely brain damaged. Calling her Lam'fee, Saoirse begins to work with her and take care of her. Lam'fee seems to try to resume her secretary work, going around organizing things, talking non-sensical most of the time.

Erica, meanwhile, has been in a funk as they head back home. Talking rarely, except to Gor who has been sketching and in a worse funk mostly, though slowly getting out of it, talking to Kaylin and teaching her a little, like petting her ears. Though things did come to a slight head when Cam tried to be playful after a week of silence mostly since the usage of the Spirit Engines and groped Kaylin to show her a bit of what intimacy was and a comment from Erica set her off, since Erica and Cam - the computer - have never gotten along. Somehow Erica's room ended up having a sprinkler incident and no alarms going off to warn about it. Easily fixable in the long run. In the end, Cam made chibi images of past recorded sex scenes of the crew to show Kaylin what intimacy was, indicating the crew is under surveilance.

Verse 7, M.4:

Week 1 and 2

Asarar has been slow to recover since the incident, taking care of Ylva at the same time and getting into the groove of petting her kitten again, while making sure Chelsea knows she's her kitten as well, at one point having both on her bed and petting them. Letting each know she cares about them equally. However, her attitude still seems off, having not gotten back together with Kira intimately, while remaining friendly. Her body remaining waxy and tired, doing simple exercises tire her out.

As for Wolfe, his burns healed quickly thanks to Chelsea's honey and salve and he's been doing better, getting into play fights with Max that result in fur loss. While sleeping in baskets and being around all his fauna girls. And pigs. And Chelsea has maintained work on the hotsprings, talking and chilling with Samson and gotten a new star ship engine from Asarar herself.

Verse 8, M.5:

Week 1 and 2

Back at the base after meeting Miyuki, the group has been grounded for the time being and after sending a letter to Celes, she immediately came to see Liana, spending time at the base with her love, always glad to see her. And feeling closer to her after hearing Liana would quit if the group was disbanded into other units. Qui so far has seemed drifted and unsure what to do, playing in the water in the aquaducts under the temples and teasing Liana and Celes, while the others have merely talked and relaxed, playing around Qui's bonfire dances or debated what the future holds for them. So far Celes and Liana have made the use of their time, making love and Celes learning to bake cakes for Liana, since she loves food.
