With the strain of the dark emotional feelings swirling through the Dark Lands, a group of Daemons has formed a Legion to deal with the fact that they feel their rights are not being addressed properly throughout the years, with such organizations such as the Peacekeepers cutting them up and studying them. While Shinobu and Rain attempt to keep this Legion in line, the Legion launches an attack on Hapian Castle and takes Lana and the bodies of the familiars that have yet to be connected to their Mages. As guards and the Legion battle at the castle, this draws Shinobu's forces in which causes more trouble for both sides due to the dark emotions, even as both leaders attempt to keep their people in line. As they begin to get their people in line, something happens that causes the Hapian Castle to begin to vanish into the Spirit Realm, taking some of the Legion with it as well as others who were in the castle helping at the time. After it is over, the team realizes their research into the First Spirit has been taken, as well as a group of crazy Daemons, is now in the Spirit Realm, and their easy access has been cut off.

Session 644: The Hyperspace Trap

The Aquarius does battle with the local pirates in the hyperspace pathways after being trapped in them by a new pirate weapon. Unable to escape hyperspace or use their spirit weapons inside it, they are forced to do battle in the hyperspace tunnels with the superior pirate ships in order to escape. This results in massive damage to the Aquarius due to the unfamiliar battleground every time the massive pirate ship knocks them into the walls of the hyperspace, losing chunks of their ship. Eventually, the crew mangaged to damage the pirate ship long enough to knock themselves out of hyperspace long enough to limp the Aquarius back to Kumen, but not before losing some of it's crew as parts of the ship were lost and Mireille was damaged due to surges inflicted by the hyperspace. The only thing that will be obvious now is that the pirates will need to be dealt with before the end.
